IRIS'S POV

When the car horned loudly snatching back my attention from the whirling sound of raindrops that were dripping down over the glasses profusely.

I didn't had no idea where we were heading for as the ride was unexpected quite and dull. Despite hearing some car horns occasionally, I didn't hear their voices at all.

Taking an U turn, the car parked in a rush as I heard the car door opening with a loud thud. Soon after the sharp tongued woman pulled me out of the car still in my blindfold as the rains poured down on my head heavily.

Hissing annoyingly, they dragged me towards a way as I showed no ounce of protest. I needed to see the boss who actually sent his people to kidnap me as soon as I stepped in this city.

After that, my paces were stopped forcefully as she fell me down on the floor ruthlessly. I grunted in pain as soon as the cold floor touched my skin.

This girl is getting on my nerves, seriously!

As I patted on my pants instinctively but didn't dare to unfold my blindfolds even though my hands weren't cuffed. I had basic knowledge about few underground gangs who seemed to set some weird rules among its members. Thus I didn't plan to infuriate them more unfolding my blindfold.

As I continued patting, an old yet powerful voice suddenly commanded assuming to stay a few steps away from me, " Tie her against a chair. I need to vent out my rage over this bitch."

My face darkened at his call as I clenched my teeth hard. Surely two figures came behind my back before hauling me up from the floor forcefully.

Forcing me down on a chair, I sensed a thick layer of rope that was circulating around my upper figure tightly. After binding me completely, the old voice ordered thundering the surrounding, " Unfold her eyes now. Tsk.. She is way too smart and knows the ground rules."

I stayed quite even though my patience was breaking down slowly. As soon as one of them tugged down the fold slowly, my vision was still blurry until I cleared it shaking my head few times.

Lifting up my gaze slightly, I saw the man sitting opposite of me crossing his legs like a boss. Noticing his facial features, I saw little wrinkles on his face confining his old age that had left signs on his face. His hairs were silver white glistening under the dim lights that made me wandering around suspiciously.

I was taken inside a vip lounge that must be owned by any city bar nearby. Hearing the low music coming far away, I assumed that the bar might be upstairs somewhere.

The well spacious room was occupied only those uniformed members and me who were ogling at me ready to hunt me down anytime.

Shifting my eyes over the old man who had a grim face that made me scratching my head hard to find out that had I ever beat him or not.

But the answer was no! I had never seen him before nor did I try to poke my nose in his organisation.

Glaring at me for a while, he hauled up from the couch gently before taking beasty steps towards me. I lifted up meeting his hateful gaze but unexpectedly a hard slap fell on my cheek causing my face to turn sideway grunting a little.

My face burnt like fire and assumed that probably it left fingerprints too. Gasping loudly, my chilling gaze landed on him as he asked referring to the person, " Where is he?"

Damn! I knew it..!

Secretly scolding hard, I answered shrugging my shoulders, " I don't know."

The man was expecting my answer and suddenly another hard slap fell on my untouched cheek making my grunting loudly.

Hanging my face sideway, his vicious tongue buzzed in my eardrums, " You don't know, bitch or you don't want to say? Do you think that he can control our actions hiding in UG state?"

I sighed helplessly knowing that he won't believe my answer but still replied straightforwardly, " Both !"

Looking up at him, I saw his face had turned completely black in rage as I stretched out his hand to grab my bunny hairs instinctively.

All of sudden, one of his member rushed inside the lounge gasping loudly. As soon as he spotted my reddened cheeks and the action of boss, he shouted hysterically, " Boss.. Boss.. No..

Don't touch her.. Don't.."

I frowned slightly as all of them glared at him questioningly. Removing his black mask, the brown haired boy informed gasping like a marathon horse, " I just got to know that she isn't any mere member. We shouldn't touch her. "

The old man asked in a extremely cold voice, " Why?"

The boy glanced at me fearfully before replying in a shuddering tone, " She.. she is.. especial to him.."

The bold man burst out into laughter before pointing at me sarcastically, " Did you get drunk, Tony? He will take a fancy to this woman who don't have a single strength to protest against us. Seriously?"

I ignored his words and paid extra attention to my surroundings. The boy tried to speak but the old man cut off his words coldly, " Get the hell out of my sight. You only know how to spoil our plan. "

The boy still tried to stop him considerably, " But.. Boss..."

The sharp tongued woman who seemed to poses a narcissistic character warned him threateningly, " Tony.. Get lost from here. When did you provide us any accurate information? How could you think that the mighty King of our world would take a liking on this little slut?"

I felt my blood boiled as the way she tagged ne with that word and praised him so highly who seemed not to done a single good works in my eyes. Furthermore I had a gut feeling that her tongue resounded jealous more than cursing.

Ignoring the boy's alarm completely, they all shifted their attention on me once again as I watched the old man blankly.

Sneering at my face disdainfully, he stated gritting his teeth together tightly, " Listen girl, just tell me his location as fast as possible. We don't intend to betray them but he isn't agreeing to meet me at any cost because of a mere mistake. I just want to know his whereabouts so that I can visit him and solve this issues. But he has completed erased his location and now I have no way out to reach him. "

I was speechless before turning dumbfounded.

Can this man be more unreasonable?

He continued as I saw him getting anxious, " We have a million dollars hanging deal. I can't sleep without solving it. Come on, tell me fast. Where is he? "

I shook my head helplessly and blamed my destiny to know that man ever. Lifting up my hazel eyes, I answered him sincerely, " I told you that I don't know. "

The man clenched his fists together before turning his face to the wrapped woman asking suggestions beastly, " What should I do with her, Britney?"

He averted his fired eyes on me and continued, " She is stubborn brat and isn't willing to hear me obediently."

The woman sneered before answering mercilessly, " Torture her, boss. She needs to remind our lessons. "

Bargaining like a cheap play, the man asked raising up his eyebrows, " What do you suggest? "

The woman pondered for a while until her thirsty eyes located the pendant in my collarbone sternly.

Locating the iron chain around it, she suggested grinning devilishly, " How about leaving some scars on her beautiful collarbone? "

The man immediately followed her gaze and admitted with deep thoughts frankly, " That's a savage way to torture her, Britney. You are a wise woman."

The girl bowed respectively shooting me death glare as I saw his hand approaching near my pendant, my weakest spot.

Almost instantly, my sleeping demon took over my soul as I blurted out warning, " Don't you dare to touch my pendent. I swear that you won't end up with good."

My voice sounded thrilling as the air inside the room turned stiff after my words earning various surprised glares from them.

Even the old man was a little taken back after my warning but quickly regained his composure before beaming into a devilish smile.

Mocking my threat, he exclaimed teasingly, " Tsk.. Tsk.. Looks like we have figured out your weakness stubborn brat. well.. well.. then.."

All of sudden, he leaned towards me before clutching my glassy pendent so hardly that it broke along with a crisp sound in front of my stunned eyes.

As I felt my heart shattering into pieces looking down blankly at his clenched fist as I heard his devilish tone lowly, " I should break it fast."

In no time, I threw a hard kick on his groin using my free leg as hard as possible. He howled in pain before flying over to the couch swiftly.

I was so furious that my body was shivering all over as I gazed around others who were proceeding towards me.

Hauling up hastily with the chair and bindings, I skillfully used my both legs one by one to smash their body however. As the rope loosened after my constant jumping and kicking actions, I pulled them off from my upper body before rubbing my sore arms.

Looking down over those lying figures, I saw the mascara that I had created before giving another hard kick on that devil woman who was howling after having some good kicks on her backs.

The members were all growling in pain holding their stomach or legs, my eyes landed on the old boss who was struggling to get up.

Walking over to him, I asked buzzing my voice in the air, " Where's my necklace?"

Well, he was an another stubborn brat who wasn't ready to put down his pride in front of him. Gaining the last bit of courage that was left inside him, he replied cursing me once again, " Bitch.. how dare you hit my people.. Do you know.. who am.."

I didn't let him finish his word before picking up the half broken chair from the marble floor quickly. Whirling it in the air for a while, I broke it completely on his back as he winched in pain before kneeling down and fell off flatly.

His old face got several bruises which I didn't care. I asked one more time while my eyes wandered around anxiously, " If you want to stay live just tell me where's my necklace."

I fisted his white hairs enlarged and asked one last time controlling myself, " Or else I will burn the whole lounge along with your troop trust me. I can do it."

He trembled at my words before pointing under the couch with his shaky finger. I quickly let him off before scrunching down and gazed underneath the couch scanning deeply.

My heart was beating abruptly as the pain lowly engulfed my mind. I couldn't believe it that I had lost it after so many years of protection.

After searching through for a while, I finally spotted the two broken pieces at a corner and quickly pulled it out holding so cautiously that seemed like an invaluable treasure.

Well it might not be a treasure for anyone but it was a treasure for me that I had been guarding for all this years but today it finally left me.

Fighting between my rage and tears, I stood up from the ground and intended to leave this spot as soon as possible or I really might kill everyone present here.

As I walked over the glass door, a boy from the down tried to stop me holding my feet. I stumped on his hand so hardly that might have broken his fingers shouting loudly, " Fuck Off...!"

I ignored their existence before opening the glass door and walking out absentmindedly clutching those two broken pieces.

Heading outside, my tears finally escaped from my eyes as I walked towards the heavy rain slowly.

Standing under the heavy raindrops that were showering me heavenly, I knelt down on the midnight's empty street weakly.

My tears were falling down uncontrollably as the rain flashed them away quickly deceiving the outsiders that I wasn't crying.

I let my tears fall down until I felt my breathing rapid and unsteady.

Stretching out my palm gently, I murmured choking vigorously, " Why everyone leaves me! Why!"

I screamed along with the thunderbolts loudly looking up at the sky, " Why did you do this to me! Why!! Why!!"

I asked and cried constantly until my throat dried..!
