Chapter 4 Did you investigate her

After exiting the cafe she went straight to the park in the central city, away from school to keep her mind out of matters.

Mean while back at the cafe Mr. Cane ran to his best friend to tell him what just happened with his eyes wide open. It felt like Mr. Brady was not interested as he was busy with financial reports.

"If you don't look at me, I will never share any interesting news with you" he said while laughing. Mr. Brady lift up his head to look at his friend who looked like a child promised to be taken to Disney land.

"Okay here is the thing, your is looking for job, a part job by the way" he said with a big smile

Mr. Brady was also stupefied about the news. "Did she tell you why she need a job and what kind of job, a manager? An auditor?... He specified all top position.

"No" Mr. Cane denied instantly. "May waitressing or cleaning. She said is to pay for school fees, i don't know what happened to her although i thought she was bluffing, at the end it felt like she was serious. Now he was talking with a serious face.

"So did you give it to her? " Mr. Brady asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I didn't, i told her to try big companies. She won't be able to earn much here, it can't cover school fees if she is serious. And also thought this is the right time for you to approach her. So are you up for the game? "Mr. Cane asked with a naughty tone.

"I'm over her, she is just a child, you csn help her if you want to. Now leave me"

He said while opening his reports again.

"One question, did you investigate her? ". Mr. Cane asked. Mr. Brady just looked at him to motion him to go on.

"How did you know her name was Belle because she never told?"

"Because she is beautiful " Mr. Brady answered with a low voice. His friend just got up and left with a haughty smile.

Mr. Brady couldn't work anymore thinking about everything his friend told him. He picked up and sent a message to his subordinate. 'Gather information on the AZ University Beauty

Late at night he received an e-mail with her picture on it. He stopped everything that he was doing and just stared at her beauty for a long time before report underneath her picture. She comes from 'A Country'. Full name Belle Jean. Her lastname attracted him.

The Jean family in A City are significant people, business tycoons. Why is she here and worse thing using scholarship, instead of paying cash. Which Jean family did she fall under?.

He continued reading, she was transfered here because she doesn't have a good relationship with her lil sister. She always takes what belongs to her sister Isabella. Belle was a beauty but a devil, it says.

She took her sister's boyfriends twice. Always calling her names. She doesn't listen to her parents, she is a rebel, so they wrote her off and sent her away with nothing, but her savings.

The scholarship she was using, reversed all the money they paid for her. Reason being fraud, she cheated the system and sent fake results, also cheated while writing test. She now owe the school Nine hundred and fifty thousand.

She have to pay Twenty five percent of that amount to be able to write quarterly exams. Mr. Brady was lost for words after reading about Belle. She act so innocent, while hiding her true nature.

Belle was tossing and turning in bed at this time unable to sleep. She didn't know that she had been investigated and have been blacked everywhere. She got up from bed as she couldn't sleep.

She switch on the light, went to her computer desk and switch it on. She started searching for companies that take student for part time jobs and started applying for internship hoping to get reply by tomorrow.

She switched off her computer and head back to bed. She took her phone to read the new. She switched of the headlamp and used the phone light.

She started reading entertainment news. While she was busy reading she received an e-mail notification. She opened it fast thinking that it is one of the companies she applied for, as she know that tycoons don't sleep, they are always working, which is the reason they are rich.

When she opened it she found that it was from 'BB Financial Services'. The message read as thus: 'thank you for applying for student internship, unfortunately you don't qualify for any available slots. However we have CLEANING slots available. If you want it reply yes.

She was lost for words when she read it. She didn't know how to react, the first company to reply to her application offered her cleaning position. She didn't lose hope as it is only a few minutes after she applied, she is waiting for other companies to reply..

She switched off her phone so that if she will be getting more bad news she won't receive it at night.

On the Other hand Mr. Brady was waiting for her reply to work as a cleaner. He wanted to see if she will swallow her pride, and what she will do when she finds out that he is the owner of the company?

He gathered he information and read it for the second time to see if there are any loopholes on it, after reading he left the study and went to his bedroom.
