Chapter 2 In The Beginning 1 (Part One)

She had thought of many ways to meet him again, but she had never thought of watching him get married.

"Don't worry. It's better to put the umbrella at the door, or the floor of the library will be dirty." Selina bent over and picked up the umbrella and handed it to Shane Tang. When he took the umbrella, she saw that his fingers were very long and his nails were neatly trimmed. Then Selina's eyes met with Shane Tang's.

In Shane Tang's eyes, the girl with thick eyebrows and big eyes looked fresh and comfortable.

In Selina's eyes, this boy had a high-bridged nose and a pair of big eyes though with single-edged eyelids.

When they looked at each other, the two of them were a little stunned, and then they seemed to sense the embarrassment at the same time.

"Thank you." Shane Tang broke the short embarrassment. He took the schoolbag with one hand and the umbrella with the other. "Sit down. Did I make your shoes dirty?"

"Well, it doesn't matter. The surface of the shoes is a little wet, but the inside is fine. It will be dry soon." Selina replied after looking down at her canvas shoes.

"That's good." After saying that, Shane Tang hung his schoolbag on the back of his chair and put the umbrella beside it.

Selina and Shane Tang began to be absorbed in study. The embarrassment just now gradually disappeared. In the next few hours, neither Selina nor Shane Tang raised their heads or spoke. Around them, there was only the sound of page turning.

At lunch time, Shane Tang packed up his things and left. When he left the chair, Selina looked up at him. This boy was very friendly, polite and clean, and he made her feel comfortable.

After one o'clock, Selina felt a little tired, so she packed up her things and was ready to leave. When she pushed the chair under the table, Selina saw a book and a notebook in the drawer under the table, so she picked them up and read.

"Shane." Selina gently read out the name on the book, and then looked at the notebook. On the lower right corner of the cover, the owner of the notebook wrote with beautiful handwriting - class 1 of Grade 03 of Civil Engineering, Shane Tang.

This should be the boy's, right? Selina smiled faintly. She could take it to his school in the afternoon. Selina put away the book and notebook and left the library.

When she walked out of the library, the rain had stopped. She walked on the road, and water splashed from time to time.

It was such a nice day.

The summer heat was gone after the rain. Everything was so fresh and comfortable...

Selina didn't have classes in the afternoon. After lunch break, she slowly got out of bed. Maybe she thought it was muggy in the afternoon after the rain, and she still felt stuffy after washing her face.
