Chapter 9 Who Subdued Whom

"Got it." Sophia replied with anger, "Didn't you knock on the door when you came in?"

"This is my home, my bedroom. Why should I knock on the door?" Ethan said firmly, but his eyes lingered on her.

Only then did Sophia realize that she was naked. She quickly pulled up the bath towel next to her and covered her body. "Get out!"

"Why should I go out? If one should go out, it's definitely you. This is my home!" Ethan raised his eyebrows and said naturally.

"I'm your wife now, and this is also my home. Why should I go out?" Sophia stood up from the bathtub, not to be outdone.

Because Ethan was squatting. When Sophia got up, his body was splashed with water, and even his hair was stained. Sophia smiled brightly as if she had revenged.

Ethan stood up and pulled her over. The two bodies clung to each other tightly. He could even feel the softness of her body. His heart throbbed.

Sophia's body stiffened at once. She secretly regretted that she should not have provoked him if she had known that he was such a bad man. But now she was a little scared. Suddenly, she thought of that man again. If it weren't for his departure, she might not have encountered such a situation. Or, when he knew she was in such an awkward situation, how would he react?

Unfortunately, no matter how she thought, at this moment, she was facing a man, who was her nominal husband. If he really did something to her, she couldn't tell anyone.

"I didn't expect you to like playing cat and mouse with me. I underestimated you." His light voice with disdain reached her ears.

It was him who was rude first, but now he looked so decent. She was the one who really disdained him. "Yes, I like playing cat and mouse with you. Are you hooked by me?" Her voice was coquettish, but it contained endless stubbornness and courage.

There was no doubt that she easily returned the problem to him. If he touched her, it would mean that he lost. If he did not touch her, she would be safe. No matter what he did, she was on the advantageous side. He couldn't help but praise the little woman for her wisdom and calmness in the face of danger.

"Do you want to do it? Hurry up if you want to do it. If you don't, I'll go out." After saying that, she pushed him away and walked out with casually looks.

Ethan was a little stunned, but he quickly chased after her, pulled her over and pressed her against the wall. With her hands still holding the bath towel wrapped around her body, Sophia leaned her smooth back against the wall and looked at him in horror.

He pressed the wall with one hand and picked up a strand of her wet hair with the other. He warned her coldly, "Be your Mrs. Firman. Don't have any improper thoughts, understand?"

Improper thoughts! He thought she was willing to be his wife? It was really a joke. "Mr. Ethan, I have never had any improper thoughts. I don't have it now and I won't have it in the future. Please don't bother me all the time."

"It's good for you to think so." He answered, but didn't mean to let her go. Instead, he got closer to her.

Her body was burning hot, her face flushed, and her mind went blank. She only felt that she was surrounded by the aura of Ethan. The aura and eloquence just now had already disappeared, only tension and fear. If he really wanted to do something at the moment, her little arms and legs might not be able to resist.

At the thought of what would happen between her and a strange man, she felt a little nauseated, and her hand holding the bath towel couldn't help trembling.

Fortunately, his phone rang, breaking the terrible silence. He took out his phone, "Hello..." Then he let go of her and walked out.

Sophia finally took a deep breath and was very grateful to the phone that saved her life. She turned around and went back to the bathroom immediately. She dried her body, came out to put on the household clothes and dried her hair. Then she sat down by the bed with distress.

She didn't know if the man would come back to this room again, but she didn't have the courage to say anything to him. What happened just now really scared her, and she was still scared when she thought of it at this moment.

She heard the sound outside from the room. After a long time, she finally heard the footsteps. Subconsciously, she thought he would go back to this room so she quickly ran to the door. But she heard the footsteps past, and then heard the sound of the car going out. Her nervous heart finally calmed down. She thought that it was one o'clock in the morning, and he might not come back.

She yawned and tucked herself in. However, she had a bad dream and didn't sleep well.

"Sophia, Sophia!" Noah stretched out his bloody hand to her and fell down feebly.

"Noah!" She screamed and sat up, sweating heavily. Recalling the scene in her dream, her heart tightened. "Maybe Noah didn't leave on purpose. He was in danger." Sophia guessed to herself. She reached out to her neck, but the necklace was not there.

She fumbled in the drawer in a hurry and finally found the delicate box containing the necklace. She opened the box and rubbed the leaves made of gemstones with her fingers. "Noah, even if you don't like Sophia, please take good care of yourself."

With a deep sigh, she walked to the window and opened the curtain. It was a misty morning outside. The sun was hidden in the clouds and was about to come out. Since she came to this world, she should live well. As if encouraged, she suddenly had the interest to do some sports.

She put on her sportswear and went downstairs lightly. Aunt Shelly had already got up. Seeing her, she quickly said, "Mrs. Sophia, the breakfast is not ready yet."

"It doesn't matter. I'll run in the garden first. There's no hurry." She answered and ran out. The servants were cleaning the yard and greeted her one after another.

When Ethan walked to the balcony with a glass of water, he saw her doing warm-up exercises in the garden. With his elbows on the edge of the balcony, he looked down at the beautiful figure.

The morning mist was a little thick, and she was like a lily with dewdrops, emitting a intoxicating fragrance. While he was quiet, looking at her with a little laziness. For some reason, he had been looking at her for a long time, stubbornly unwilling to leave.

Maybe he was too busy these last few days and needed some time to relax, so he lost his mind. Thinking of this, he took a sip of the water in the glass, but had no intention of leaving.

The person who was exercising in the garden didn't notice that she was completely in someone's sight. She jogged wholeheartedly. After three or four circles, she gradually stopped and changed to walk slowly. Finally, she started the last stretch exercise to slowly relax every joint of her body.

Her slender waist was partly hidden and partly visible with the movement of her hands. Accompanied by the increasingly strong sunlight, the people upstairs seemed to have an impulse to go downstairs. However, he was always a person who could restrain himself well and stopped some bad thoughts.

After finishing the exercise, Sophia felt her body sticky, so she went upstairs to take a shower and changed a dress. She had never gone out of the villa every day. Except for visiting the elders with that man yesterday, her world was confined in this yard.

It couldn't go on like this all the time. She bit her lips and called Henry, who was obviously still in a sleep.

"Who is it?" Henry said in a daze. It was clear that he didn't get up yet.

Sophia felt a little embarrassed. After all, it was impolite to disturb others' rest, but it was already eight o'clock. Why didn't he get up? Didn't he need to go to work?

"Henry, I'm sorry. Did I disturb your rest?"

"Sister-in-law!" Hearing that it was from Sophia, Henry quickly sat up and asked, "What can I do for you?"

Sophia said in the other end of the line, "Well, are you free today?"

"What's up?" Henry didn't answer her question, but turned to ask. He was relatively free, but it depended on what she would ask him to do. He didn't want to experience the thing happened yesterday. Although he sympathized with her, if the price was to offend his boss, he'd better avoid it.

After hesitating for a while, Sophia said, "Here is the thing. I've been in New York for a long time. I want to go out for a walk. Can you take me out for a walk? "

"That's it?" After hearing the request of Sophia, Henry breathed a sigh of relief. "No problem. I'm free today." With a beautiful woman accompanying him, of course he had time at any time.

"Come to the villa and have breakfast. I will make dumplings for you." Sophia said with a smile, "as the reward for being my guide!"

Hearing that he could eat dumplings, Henry agreed without hesitation, "Okay, I'll go now."

After hanging up the phone, Sophia ran to the kitchen and said to Aunt Shelly, "Aunt Shelly, I'll make breakfast myself."

"Well, Mrs. Sophia, let us servants do it." Aunt Shelly said awkwardly, "Is the breakfast not to your taste?"

Sophia said with a smile. "No. I promised Henry to make him dumplings for breakfast. "

Aunt Shelly asked in surprise, "Can you make dumplings?"

"Yes, I can! I can cook a lot of dishes. If possible, I will cook for you! " Said Sophia with a smile.

"Well, Mr. Ethan..." Before Aunt Shelly could finish her words, Sophia interrupted her, "Aunt Shelly, don't mention that man, okay?"

Since the hostess was unwilling, what else could she do? "Do you need my help?" Aunt Shelly asked.

"No, I can do it myself." As Sophia spoke, she began to cut the meat fillings and then began to roll the skins. Her movements were very quick and it was obvious that she often did it.

Aunt Shelly looked at her and praised, "Your skill is almost as good as our cook here."
