Chapter 1 Help Me Or Die

"Have you even done this before?" A cold voice came from above, causing Wendy Lin's body to tremble.

She had never found herself in this situation, and she didn't know how to react.

All she wanted was to go to the bathroom. She opened the door to a stall, but before she could get in, a man pushed her in and he got in as well.

'Where the hell did this man come from?' she thought.

The smell of disinfectant was soon replaced with a bitter stench of blood. The narrow space in the stall gave her little allowance to move around as she tried to calm herself down.

"Sir, I just want to use the bathroom," she uttered.

Before she could even finish her words, he covered his hand over her mouth. The metallic smell entered her nostrils, and she had to hold herself from going into a coughing fit.

"Shut up! If you make a sound, I'll kill you!" the man threatened fiercely.

Just then, the sound of racing footsteps and a string of curses came from the corridor.

Wendy Lin raised her head with difficulty, only to be met with a pair of beautiful eyes.

However, those eyes were carrying so much killing intent that aimed to throw her six feet under the ground.

She shrank back under his gaze. As saying went, "A wise man knows when to retreat."

Just then, a creak sounded from behind and the stall door opened a crack. Noticing this, the man glared at her and motioned for her to behave. Then he turned around and closed the door.

However, just as he turned around, he saw her secretly taking out her phone. Without bothering to think about it, he wrenched the phone from her and held it in his hand.

'Fuck!' she thought, feeling her stomach lurch.

"Well... I was just going to check the time..."

Awkwardly laughing, she rubbed the back of her neck. Retreating back into the corner, she hoped to God that the tiles could just swallow her up.

"Is that so?"

The man smiled coldly. Before she could react, his hand deftly wrapped around her neck.

There was absolutely no mercy from his grip-only cruelty and harsh brutality. Her white neck was immediately stained with the blood from his fingertips as she felt her bones silently being crushed from his strong grip.

A piercing pain soared through her chest as she struggled to gasp out for air.

Wendy Lin was a doctor, so she knew very well how much strength was needed to dislocate a person's neck. And by the looks of it, the man knew exactly what he was doing.

"You could either help me or die."

From the increasing pressure on her neck, she could feel her vision darkening bit by bit. Yet, upon hearing his words, she forced herself to nod with difficulty. Her heart raced through her chest as if she had just attended a marathon.

Seemingly satisfied with her answer, he loosened his grip on her neck.

Fresh cool air entered her lungs, as the young woman exploded into a fit of coughs.

In a few seconds, she glanced up at him only to see his sharp gaze hardening as each second had passed.

The hairs at the back of her neck stood up, and she stopped coughing in an instant. "Have you ever done an operation before?"

Afraid that the man would wring her around the neck once more, she nodded quickly upon hearing the question.

The answer seemed to be just what he had been looking for. A cool smile slipped onto his lips. However, just as he was about to push the door open, another voice rang from outside.

"Damn it! It's only a small place. Can the man fly or something? Find the bastard!"

"Sir, Leon is injured. He couldn't have gone that far."

"Hey! Look what I found! There's some splatter of blood on the tiles of the ladies' room." Although there was just a small amount of blood, it was still discovered by the sharp-eyed man.

Cursing under his breath, Leon Shen's eyes flashed, and his entire face darkened. Turning to the woman in front of him, he ordered, "Sit on my lap, and kiss me!"

Her face paled at his words as her hand drifted up to her collar. However, before she could reject him, he sat on the toilet first and pulled her over to his chest. He snaked his arms around her waist and leaned closer to her so that they were sitting face-to-face.

This position would ensure that he wouldn't be recognized.

Seeing that she still didn't realize how dangerous the situation was, he pressed his lips against hers. The corners of his lips were stained with blood, but none of them cared. Instead, they found themselves caught up from the moment.

His tongue darted into her mouth. Overwhelmed, she opened her mouth only for him to lean in deeper. Soon enough, the pair found themselves entangled from the scorching kiss.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer, but Leon Shen didn't pull away. Instead, he made sure to keep a close eye at the footsteps coming from outside. Coming into her senses, she fixed her loose white coat, making sure to cover his appearance.

The sound of footsteps was like a countdown to both of their deathbeds, yet she kept calm. She knew that if he had fallen into their hands, then nothing good would come to her either.

Bang! Bang! The doors to the stalls were slammed open one by one

Beads of cold sweat dripped down her face, and she squeezed her eyes shut.

'Fuck, fuck, fuck!' she cursed inwardly. Staring at the cold face in front of her, she had no other choice but to deepen the kiss. However, the arousal was long gone. Replaced was a sense of urgency of getting the job done.

"Mmph!"

She faked out a moan, wincing inwardly. God knew what her colleagues would think if they saw her like this.

Before she knew it, the door behind them was slammed open. The crowd of men were all stunned by the sight that had greeted them.

One of them cackled out. "Who knew that a doctor could be so promiscuous during office hours?"

"Hey! What the fuck! Don't you know how to mind your own business? Close the damn door!"

Pretending to be outraged by his words, Wendy Lin whirled around and glared at the source of the voice. Upon seeing the number of men surrounding her, her stomach lurched, but she kept her cool. After all, her life was on the line as well.

The strong men blinked at her language only to burst into laughter. "I like this woman. Well, let's go so that they can continue."

He raised his hand and closed the door. Before they could continue their search, a loud police horn echoed throughout the place and all of them froze. "Fuck!" the leader cursed. "That lucky son of a bitch got away again. Let's go!"

It wasn't until she was a hundred percent sure that they'd retreated that her heartbeat finally slowed down. Her entire body softened as she collapsed into the man's arms.
