Chapter 7 Dramatic Reversal (Part Two)

Hearing her words, the master, who had just breathed a sigh of relief, became nervous again.

How could it be possible?

He knew that his wife liked Pierce. On second thought, it seemed a little strange that she liked him so much. She shouldn't have lied!

He had a narrow escape from the accident. He wondered if the car was over-damaged by the men sent by Jean that he almost couldn't come back if he hadn't been so agile.

The Mo clan was a powerful clan in A City. Since the master of Mo clan promised that he would send Pierce to the police station after had some words with him personally, the police left without saying anything.

The wedding ceremony ended like a farce.

When they returned to the villa of the Mo clan, people consciously sat on the sofa in the living room.

Pierce was pulled by Jean to sit next to her, while the master sat in the middle, Gregory and Elli sat on the side. For quite a long time, no one said a single word.

All of a sudden, the master reproached Jean angrily, "Tell me everything happened. If you don't make it clear today, you must get out of the Mo clan as well after seeing off Pierce!" His voice was so loud that Jean was frightened to sit backward.

Jean had never seen the master lose his temper like this. She faltered in speaking unconsciously due to the fear. She hurriedly calmed herself down and said carefully, "Master, I know I was wrong.
