Chapter 4 Divorce Over

Jarred's little hand caressed the bandage on her neck gently, moving his head closer to Susanna, Jarred said, "Jarred loves mom, mom won't hurt soon."

Tears welled up in Susanna's eyes. It was not because of Jarred, but because she thought of Mandy.

She was adopted by the Su Family at the age of five. Because she had been living in an orphanage when she was a child, she had developed a lonely character.

At that time, Mandy took good care of her and Susanna finally opened her heart. At that time, she and Mandy were also motherly and filial. Not long ago, they were still a warm and harmonious family.

She wanted to marry Cory, and Abbas gave her half of the Su Family's property as a dowry. Mandy had never complained about it. What she worried about was always that Cory was not good to her and was afraid that she would suffer.

Susanna put Jarred back on the ground and said to him seriously, "Jarred, mom need to go back grandpa's home to deal with something. Can you stay at home and play with Bader?"

Jarred's bright eyes darkened, but he still nodded firmly.

"I'll ask Bader to send you to the kindergarten tomorrow morning. Can you sleep alone if I don't come back tonight?" Susanna continued.

After she put down Jarred, she left the villa in a hurry and drove straight to the Su mansion.

"I..." Susanna wanted to explain at first but swallowed down what she was about to say. "Thank you, Peggy. Please take good care of my mother and Keith for me. Call me if anything happens," she said to Peggy.

"Okay, Miss Susanna, please leave now!" As she spoke, Peggy looked at herself back and pushed Susanna again, as if she was afraid of being discovered by Mandy.

As soon as Susanna walked to the corner of the wall, she heard Mandy's voice. Peggy vaguely said that it was someone who had walked to the wrong door as an excuse.

Although she couldn't attend her father's funeral, she had been guarding outside the wall of the Su Family, listening to the sadness inside and guarding for Abbas. This made her feel that she was still a member of the Su Family, and she still had a home.

At Mandy's strong request, Abbas's body only had stayed in the Su Family for one day, and was cremated on the second day.

When she came out of the lawyer building with the divorce agreement in her hand, Susanna was trembling all over.

When she married Cory, she had been looking forward to happiness, and now she was desperate.

She didn't go home because she knew that Cory would not go back to that home again. She took a taxi to the company.

Standing under the magnificent building of the Song Family's company, she looked up at the top floor, which was the place where Cory worked.
