Chapter 5 Find New Actress (Part One)

"What did you say?" Damon was furious, "you know Karla is screening a new play here, so you deliberately set your own play here. Now you are blaming others?! Is this what you want! You're living a miserable life, but you still want to drag others into it!"

Karla was good at using her delicate image. Tears were welling up in her eyes, as if they were about to fall the next second. Shirley remembered that the men in the book liked Karla the most. She was kind-hearted and knew how to think for others. As long as she opened her mouth, they would give in. But this scene was really ironic in Shirley's eyes.
