Chapter 6 Why Do You Have To Destroy The YS Group For That

Ben opened his mouth to say something, but Brody cut him off. "Now is not the time to worry about other people's wives. Think about what you're going to do now. How will the YS Group survive without the money?"

Brody had hit the nail on the head. Tracy's fears seemed to intensify; she hated herself for making a hasty move. Her gaze shifted to Ben. "Don't worry, Mr. Brody. Tracy has only lost the money, not the stock of the company." He smiled reassuringly.

Ben's words seemed to calm Tracy down. She felt relieved.

Brody's face broke into an evil grin. He studied Ben's face and stormed out of the room, dragging Tracy along with him.

He shoved her into the car and locked the door. Tracy sat in silence as the reality of her situation was slowly sinking in. Brody sat on the driver's seat and slammed the door, making the entire car rattle.

Tracy's heart leaped to her throat. She sensed a lot of hostility inside him.

The car started with a jerk and sped across the empty lane.

An ominous silence prevailed in the car. Tracy felt suffocated and wanted to jump out. Brody's words always sent a chill down her spine. However, his silence frightened her even more.

He had caught her gambling in the casino in the middle of the night.

Tracy feared what Brody might do to her. The hair on the back of her neck stood up as fear wracked her nerves.

The car suddenly screeched to a halt.

Tracy collided with the car's front as she had forgotten to put on the seatbelt.

A sharp pain coursed from her abdomen. Before she realized what had happened, big arms lifted her from the car.

Brody carried Tracy to the bedroom and threw her onto the bed.

Tracy's body bounced off the bed and fell back again with a soft thump.

Her vision became blurry, and her head began to spin. "How dare you go to the casino?" Brody's resonant voice reverberated across the silent room.

Anger rose from the pit of Tracy's stomach. She sat up and glared at him. "Who gave you the right to discipline me? I like to gamble; no one can stop me."

Brody threw his hands in the air. "What the hell? Are you insane? You have lost half the shares of the YS Group," Brody spat.

Tracy flinched at his tone. A weight resided in her heart. Brody was right; she had made a grave mistake.

The nervousness on Tracy's face infuriated Brody. Her silence fed his doubts.

"You've lost several billion dollars in the blink of an eye. How do you think the YS Group will survive in C City now?"

Brody held Tracy's chin and forced her to look at him.

His words were ringing in her ears. Tracy could see the cruelty in his eyes. Panic surged through her veins; she didn't know what to do now.

YS Group was one of the biggest rivals of the YT Group. She knew that Brody would take advantage of the situation to destroy the YS Group.

"None of this would have happened if you weren't a despicable person," Tracy cried.

She wiped a lone tear that had escaped from the corner of her eye. She sniffed loudly and scowled at Brody.

"I'm the one you hate. Why do you have to destroy the YS Group for that?"
