Chapter 3 NIGHT CLUB (PART 2)

Alex' POV:

-'my wife?'-

I followed his gaze and there she is... wearing tight red dress that perfectly fit on her curves.

-'how dare this woman!'-

I drunk my whiskey in one gulp. My blood was now starting to boil not by the dress she's wearing but by the sight that I am watching. There's a man on her side who's one arm is on her lower back. I stand and gripped the bar railings...and my knuckles turned to white.

-'How dare of her! She let that man touched her? Is he her boyfriend? Did they.... argh!"

I can't finish my thought as I wanted to rip that guy's hand touching my wife.

"Hey dude... are you okay?" I glanced at Jack who tapped my shoulder. On his back is Ryan who's just smirking at me.

"Wow... is that really Rian?" Jack asked, looking at the stage with a surprise look on his face.

"She has a wonderful voice. Why don't you listen to their song? Ohh...for sure you also wouldn't care." Ryan stated with a low voice at the end.

I swear, if he's not just my bestfriend, he will no longer live a second after I detached his head from his body. I just tried to focus on the stage and tried to listen to her... while singing.

Rian's POV:

I really felt all the song, it's every lyrics and its meaning. That's true. I won't stand in his way. I didn't... and I will not.

After I finished singing and say thank you to the crowd, Gavin kissed again my forehead and guided me to step down on the stage's stairs and back to our group who are now standing and clapping their hands.

"Wow! You have a golden voice. How can you keep that to us?" Nick protested while I'm taking my seat.

"Maybe because I haven't stepped on the stage in years."

"So that means, you're a performer before?" Jenny asked with widened eyes.

"Well...yeah. If that's what you can call it." I just shrugged my shoulders like it's not a big deal with me, compared to the shocked expression on their faces. Not for Gavin and Cari because I already told them more than a half of my life story.

" She's a former band vocalist back in college." Gavin stated while passing me my drinks.

"So, you had a band before?" it's Sierra.

"Yup. But that was in college... it's just a little band. We're performing only in the school ground, whenever there's an occasion. We also compete in some other schools before. But after I graduated, I seriously took my own path. I don't know if they continued the band or if they still performing until this days."

"What's the name of your band?" Jenny asked once again.

"Solid."

"Why is it not liquid?"

We all turned our heads to Paolo... including Sierra who's still sitting on his lap. No one's talking for a moment, until Sierra...

"Really baby? Liquid? Is that a joke?"

And then we started to laugh uncontrollably.

"What? I'm just asking?" he asked acting innocently.

"Haha...funny."

And we all laughed again. I love this two. They're so cute as a couple.

"Okay...so why is that?"

It's Nick who composed himself first after our earth dying laugh.

"Because we believed back then that whatever happens...or may happen, we will still solid as a rock and as a group. We will remain friends as what we've been started before. That's why we called it solid... and not liquid."

Paolo just rolled his eyes.

"Oh...Cheers! Cheers for our newly discovered singer tonight!"

Nick lead the act and then we all bring up our glasses. I just shake my head and drink the remaining contents on my glass.

I didn't see Ryan the rest of the night. And I didn't try to search for him because I was suddenly becoming nervous to see my husband. I don't know what to feel again after 5 to 6 months of not seeing each other. But I'm sure he heard me singing tonight. I wanted to know his reaction but I'm not brave to face him again.

Maybe...now you're asking me why do I feel this way? He has still the effect on me like the first time I saw him. He has this intimidating aura that screaming silently even though he's not speaking. I believe he hates me. He always seemed pissed and irritated whenever he looked at me. And that's why I always keep at least 10 meters distance between us.

Except last 6 months ago when I visited my parents. I didn't know he was there. I mean... who would expect that he's in our living room watching tv with my dear brother. You know... they were both the CEO of the biggest company in California so who would expect or even would guess that these two is still watching "Spongebob Squarepants"...can you imagine that?.

Haha...I'm not against Spongebob..actually, it's my favorite cartoon character. It's just that these two dominant alpha is being childish sometimes. But after that, we've never seen each other again. And I hope not again... I mean at least not tomorrow or some other days.
