The hallway felt too long.

Too bright.

Too loud.

Even though no one was really there.

Lia didn't stop walking.

Her steps were fast, uneven, echoing against the empty corridor as she turned corners without thinking, just moving-away from the cafeteria, away from the stares, away from them.

Her chest felt tight.

Too tight.
