I would be lying if I say he is not an eye candy. He is in every way sexy. In fact he screams sex on the legs right outside the door. The thing is, not so many hot guys like him frequent Neptune despite the fact it is a well known bar down here in Tacoma.
It only leaves one guess. He is either a guest or just passing through. Guessing by the way he looks in that over priced suit blazer, it has to be the latter.
Suddenly his gaze finds mine and I can't help the curt smile I send him. He sure looks nothing of the guys I usually take home. I am not saying I am a casual sex kind of person but sometimes a woman has her needs. He however looks clean cut and so in control of everything.
The men I usually take home are in a hurry to take off my clothes and get over with it. Him whoever, I am sure he would take his time. He looks like a man who knows what to do in bed.
"Think new hottie is interested?" Casey, my colleague interrupts.
"He better be." I reply filling a glass of whiskey for Jim.
"I should go check and see what he wants. He might as well as ask for my number if I play my game right." Casey winks.
I smirk. "Best of luck babes."
Casey is good looking. Typical red hair with cherry red lips and the perfect C cup, every guy I know she has had her eye on has fallen for her tricks. I am excited to watch her maneuver with this one.
I watch the two's exchange subtly finding a smirk making way to my face when I notice Casey's frown. Seconds later she walks away from the mysterious man her nose flaring.
Not surprised here.
Her ego is just bruised, she will be alright. I move over to table five catching mysterious guy's gaze on me from the corner of my eye.
"Good evening gents. What can I get you tonight?" I ask politely but rather sultry. It is kind of part of the job. How more to impress a drunkard than a few batted eyelashes and a sneaky flirty smile. It works big time earning me more tips not that I need them.
"That ass."
I don't bother to roll my eyes when the guy beside me comments. I find his stare at my ass gawking openly. I scrutinize him. Medium blonde hair, perfect teeth, blue eyes and lots of tattoos. He looks like the kind of guy I would never be down for even in an alternate universe. I force a tight lipped smile back to his two companions.
"How long before I can take you back home? I am sure that ass would look better when I get you all on fours."
At this rate I can't even be pissed. I have dealt with shitloads of narcissistic sexist bastards like blonde sitting over here.
"I am sure it would. However I doubt you could make me come. A little birdie whispered that you are not the greatest in the sack. Sorry my bad." I whisper the last part.
His other two companions fight back giggles as I watch blonde's facade fall. He glares muttering bitch.
"Ready to order now?" I ask.
"Three glasses of gin and tonic. That would do for now." The green eyed friend with the less tattoos of all replies.
I sway away after muttering a right away walking back behind the counter. When I look back to where the tall dark mysterious man was seated, he is no where to be seen and so does blonde.
I serve the couple that ask for beers watching calmy the crowd. A few minutes later, blonde returns to his friends, face terrified. A few exchanges with his friends, they suddenly disappear out of the bar.
A smirk makes way to my lips when I notice him approach from the corner of my eye.
"I am capable of fighting off a few perverts." I mutter amused.
"I know." The mysterious stranger sits down at the stool.
"What did you do to him. Poor man looked terrified out of his brain." I retrieve a glass pouring a martini for him.
"Nothing much. Just needed a few lessons on how to respect women. That went about really well if you see." he sips his Martini glancing at the now empty table.
"You are going to make me really poor if you continue like this." I gaze.
"Tips? I can double all their tips if you want. Ain't no man going to talk like that to any woman on my watch." he grimaces.
"Such a gentleman, aren't you?" I smirk.
"When I need to be." he grunts.
"Seems so. And Casey?" I cock a brow at him glancing over the redhead watching us.
He drowns his Martini. "She is good." He says without looking at her. He pushes the glass to me for a refill.
"However my type is not naive and too available." he sighs making eye contact.
"Let me guess then. You love the chase, don't you?" I refill his glass sending it back.
"You could say." he shrugs.
"How about you? I doubt you are interested in handsy drunkard men." The mysterious man stares, his hazel eyes watching me.
"I like a man who knows what to do in bed." I admit.
"Good to know because you might be in luck tonight." he flirts.
"Oh really?" I act nonchalantly.
"He happens to be sitting right in front of you and has had her stare only one person, you."
My heart thrums as I send him a smirk.
"Quit trying to get in my pants El." I huff annoyed .
"Let me guess, Aaron sent you."
I send him a scowl wiping the glasses.
"I always knew she wasn't only looks. She has brains too." El mutters drinking his liquor.
"Why do you think the great Aaron would send his right hand man to fetch me. I am more useful than you are." I surmise.
El doesn't reply. He drowns his glass before he lifts his gaze to me.
"Why bartending? I am sure you could make your way into vogue if you wanted." El enunciates peeking at the place with sheer disgust.
"Who says I didn't want to? Where would be the fun if I didn't give you trouble to find me." I reply.
"I am surprised I found you. It has been hard tracking your movements these past months."
"Is the most trusted second hand I know slacking on his job?" I tease.
"You could say that. I am getting old after all."
"Piss off. You are only twenty six not freaking eighty." I roll my eyes.
"Why do I feel eighty recently?"
"That is because you let Aaron dictate every thing of your life. You run around making errands for him like you are his freaking slave." I quip bitterly.
"I am only doing my job." El calmly repies.
I grunt annoyed. I haven't seen this man for the past six months. When he says statements like doing his job, he makes me want to punch him in the throat.
Elwood Stewart is the most loyal person I know on earth. It is something that makes me adore him as my best friend but also something I hate when he does especially if he doesn't realise he is being used.
"Really?" I gaze at his pissed.
"I didn't come for advise on life Rave or how I should be treated. Aaron needs you."
"Why am I not surprised?" I sarcastically retort.
"Can you stop making this about yourself for once. He needs us." El glares. I roll my eyes. If it is one thing, his anger doesn't faze me most especially if Aaron is involved in our conversation.
"What is it this time?" I ask bluntly
"We need to get the pack back together. Aaron has to believe each of us is in danger especially if we are on our own." he reports.
"So you are his informant now?"
"Rave!" El warns.
"Whatever." I shrug taking off my apron.
As much as I know El loves me, he is impatient when it comes to his job.
"Shall we go?" I ask impatiently.
"Now that was easy, wasn't it?"
I don't reply. I flip him a bird he smirks at.
