Chapter 1

SHAIRA'S POV

one week ago

I'm here right now in the mall with my boyfriend there.

"Hun look they're so cute" I happily told him while pointing to the children playing. But when I didn't get an answer, I looked at him and my forehead wrinkled when I saw that he wasn't listening to what I was saying and seemed to be deep in thought.

SHAIRA'S POV

I woke up early in the morning because of hunger.

'Gosh I forgot to eat earlier! I slept too long'

SHAIRA'S POV

It was late when I finished reading and I felt hungry so I went downstairs to get my food.

It's shaina!!

I took my sling bag then went out. Just as I was leaving, Shaina came out. You stared at us for a while before finally going down.

we are here now in the mall we are buying clothes now. I'm in the dress section while mom is in accessories and then Shaina is in the t-shirt section looking for a big dress.

"Hey girls look I got a matching bracelet!!" Mom said excitedly and came to us. He showed the three bracelets and all of them had a heart design.

"I'm going to buy this!!" Mom said to the cashier and after she paid she put on the two of me and Shaina and the other one she wore.

"Woah it's really beautiful!! Don't take it off ok" mom said, shaina and I just nodded there.

After we finished shopping for clothes and accessories, we went to a nearby restaurant and ate there. After that, we went home happily, but unfortunately that disappeared when we caught up with dad inside.........

"You should follow your dad shaira" mommy's voice also changed. Mom also left and followed dad. I looked at him wiping the side of his lip because it was bleeding!

"Are you ok bro?" I asked but he just nodded and stood up. I supported him and when we were done, I wiped his lips and let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry hon" I said softly.

"No! Its not your fault hon....... I-I should go now, maybe Uncle will get angrier" he replied to me and kissed my forehead.

"Bye non" he said and walked out of the house. But before he left completely, he stopped in front of Shaina then he left. I looked at Shaina but she was just looking at the big door where she came out of there but when she noticed me looking she bowed and left in front of me. He left directly in front of me and went upstairs. While I was left confused here.

'What's going on? Am I missing something here?!'

I just washed my face before going up to the room. This is probably the craziest day of my life.

When I got to the room, I immediately lay down and closed my eyes. I need to relax, our week has been so chaotic.

My emoting didn't last long because I immediately got sleepy and fell asleep.

EVENING

I woke up from a knock outside my room. I sat on the bed and just washed my face.

"What is that?" I said.

"Ma'am Shaira, sir sent you down........ he wants you to go with them. I looked at the clock for a long time.

It's already 8:32 pm.

"I'll follow" said the person who picked me up and I just heard him stomp on the floor. After the person left outside, I completely left the bed and went to the cr and peed there and washed myself.

When I'm done, I go out and go downstairs to eat. Minutes passed, it was quiet here, but the silence disappeared when dad spoke.

"Go to sleep after that especially you shaina. We have a visitor tomorrow and.... we will find out who the father of the child is tomorrow shaira" dad said and finished eating. I just speeded up the food and Shaina went up as well.

Before I could finally enter the room, Shaina said something but I didn't understand, so I ignored her and went into the room to sleep.

I woke up because I heard the sound of a car coming into our mansion. He didn't want to pay attention to that but suddenly what dad said while we were eating last night came to my mind.

'We have a visitor tomorrow and....... we will find out first who the father of the child is tomorrow shaira'

I woke up when I remembered that.

'Sh*t my nephew's father is here!'

I quickly left the bed and went straight to the Bathroom. I washed my face then brushed my teeth after that I went downstairs quickly so as not to be caught in their conversation.

I was smiling while I was going down the stairs but that smile disappeared when I saw who the person was at the bottom.

'what are they doing here'

I walked up to them and looked at them confused.

"What's happening? Why are you here aunty" I said while looking at them, they were also looking at me, except for the two people next to each other, Shaina and Dion. They both bowed as if they didn't want to look at me.

"Mom? Dad? What is it?" I try my best not to show that I'm nervous. There is a reason in my mind why they are here but I don't want to believe it. Maybe there is a good explanation for why they are here, right?

"Shaira........ son we have something to tell you" mom was obviously nervous too but she said it anyway.

"What is that?" I asked again but after a few seconds no one answered I looked around but they all didn't want to look at me.

"Mom what's going on? Dad? Hon? Sha-shaina?" I confusedly asked them. I saw Dion take a deep breath then he looked at me. There are so many emotions on his face but the most clear thing I can see is the regret?

'Why?'

"Hon....... answer me, what's going on?" I asked her, she first looked at mommy then she looked at aunty and lastly she looked at shaina.

"Hon please answer" I said calmly. He seems to be having second thoughts so I'm even more confused.

"Say it everything should come from you" dad said in a cold tone. Dion bowed again before standing up and approaching me. He held my hand and stared at me but it didn't last because he bent down.

"Hon.......hon, I'm not happy, what's going on? Why is your behavior so weird? I don't understand anything?" I'm losing patience that's why he said that. He looked at me again and suddenly there were tears in his eyes.

"Sha-shaira........ hon hic sorry! I'm so sorry!!" He said that he was crying, which only made my mind even more confused.

"There, why are you apologizing? I don't understand anything!! Make me understand" I said to him but I didn't get an answer because he just cried and cried. The same is true of Shaina, who is still bowed down to this day but is crying with her.

"Shaira hiccup sob........ shaira I'm bre-breaking up with you" it was like heaven and earth fell on me because of what he said.

"Wha-what? What are you saying, hon?! That's not funny" I try my best to look like I'm not hurt while saying that, telling myself he's just joking.

"Take that back from there...... isn't it just a joke? Are you kidding?" I said but he just shook his head and I looked at mommy, mom and aunt were crying while dad and uncle were serious.

"Stop it!! Mom, dad stop it's not funny anymore!!" I said tears welled up in my eyes.

"Please stop it!!" What I said was so loud that it made them cry even louder mommy.

"Shaira I'm really sorry....... but I have to do it" I looked at him when he said that.

"Then give me a valid reason for that" I said boldly as I saw Shaina look at us because of that.

"I-i will go t-to merry shaina" I was like I was stunned because of what he said. I just stared at him while trying to process everything he said in my mind.

"Take that back" I said suddenly and tears came to my eyes one after another.

"Di-dion Take that back!!" I screamed while crying but he just bowed and shook his head.

hiccup please stop your trip!! sob it's not funny anymore!" I cried and begged them but I got no answer.

Shaking my head, I let go of Dion's hand that was holding me and cried even more. I screamed and ran away from there.
