🌹Six Years Ago🌹
Sia hobbled toward the Evangelista villa looking ghastly
pale. Her skin were curtained with blotches of insect bite, her face littered
with charcoal.
Her brunette hair extremely tousled and her clothes were in
complete tatters.
She struggled to breathe as she gravitated toward the villa
with the last shreds of strength she had inside her.
When she approached the gate, that was luckily flung open,
Sia ambled inside, making a beeline straight to the threshold but suddenly a
voice jolted her to stop.
"Ms. Sia!!" she heard the person call out. It's a man and
she's familiar with the voice, hence she mustered the last strength she had and
pulled to a stop.
Sia twirled around to the angle from whence the voice
streamed and there stood the security man, Mike.
She didn't feel the need to plaster a smile on her face like
she always does, so she pursed her lips in a thin line, waiting to hear what
Mike had to say.
Then, the man strode toward her and pulled to a stop right
in front of her, sneering.
"Mr. Lucas ordered us not to let inside the villa again."
Came the man's voice.
Hoping it was a mere joke as always, Sia let out a dry
chuckle. Having no strength to proceed with the seeming conversation with Mike,
she veered around and attempted to head into the villa.
To her utmost surprise, Mike tugged her wrist, harshly, that
she was just one breath away from falling down but luckily, she steadied her
pose.
Instantly, she swiveled around and lashed her weak eyes at
Mike and eventually asked,
"What's this Mr. Mike? Why did you push me?"
Her voice was slightly above a whisper. She could feel the
water starting to form on the duct of her eyes.
"I told you calmly that Mr. Lucas strictly ordered not to
let you in!!" roared Mike, throwing his hands up in the air.
"Meaning? Is this my first time shuffling inside the
Evangelista's villa?" she managed to asked in between tears.
She just want to relay to Lucas what happened last night.
How she came back home and saw their house in the slum submerged in a sea of
fire.
How her mother got burnt yesterday by unknown people.
That's just it. She wants to tell her man the problem she's
facing.
The dilemma.
The depression of losing her mother last night in such a
gory way.
She's the only one
left in her family now.
Twelve years ago, she lost her younger brother Nicole in an
accident. However, his body wasn't seen as people believe he got burnt too when
the car caught fire.
Lucas and Sia are from different worlds but love meshed them
together. They have just dated for a year now. And Lucas treats her with so
much respect and love.
So what's wrong?
Why would he suddenly, out of the blue order the security
guards not to let her inside his abode again?
That's impossible!
They were together yesterday and when she arrived home she was greeted with
the most shocking scene of her life.
Her mother being burnt by fire.
"it's not your first time Ms. Sia but that was the order we
got yesterday, from Mr. Lucas." Answered Mike, keeping a straight face.
Huff, Sia shook her head. She turned and continued to take
strides into the building but Mike held her firmly in place again.
This time, more harshly that Sia felt searing pains flash
through her veins.
She winced. While she was struggling to free her wrist from
Mike's grip, another security man zoomed toward them.
"What's wrong Mike?" the second security man asked Mike.
"She's stubborn. She wants to creep inside the villa against
Mr. Lucas's orders." Mike growled.
"What!!?" howled the second security man and immediately he
clung Sia's other wrist to help Mike in dragging her outside the villa.
"What are you both doing?" Sia screamed in shock.
"Let me go!!"
"let me go!!"
"Let me go!!!"
She wailed, struggling to duck from their tight grip.
'When are we seeing each other again?' Sia asked.
'Tomorrow, baby!' Lucas responded her.
Their final words yesterday night crossed through her mind,
vividly.
Lucas assured her they would meet today. He did and she's
here to see him, so what are these men saying?
How possible is it that her own Lucas would restrain her
from venturing into his villa?
'No, no this isn't true. It can't be true that he can
possibly say such a thing.' She pondered inwardly. Still struggling to free
herself from their hold.
"I said let me go!!" she screamed again.
A sudden wave of energy surged through her as she continued
to duck her hands from their vise grip.
"You go no where Ms. Sia. We are just following
instructions." The other man said, looking her dead in the eyes.
"This is nonsense!" she routed. "We met last night and he
said I could come around today. So let me in and quit this childish act, for
chrissake!!" she howled like a wolf.
Her eyes was beginning to blear.
How she wish these two men will understand her plight and
let her inside so she could see him.
She immediately pinned her knees on the ground so they could
stop dragging her.
"Listen! Don't let us use force on you, understand?" came
Mike's voice.
"Why are you doing this?"
"It's not our fault Ms. Sia. At all. This is an order we are
trying to follow." Responded the second man.
Meanwhile, as this was ongoing, another lady dressed in a
white boat neckline dress that stopped on her mid thigh zoomed in front of them
when she alighted from her car outside the villa.
Sia quickly stole a glance at the lady and could tell they're same age. Twenty two years.
The girl has a blonde hair that cascades down her clavicle,
an oval face, sharp pointed nose, very luscious pink lips and eyes and a beautiful creamy skin.
The lady is slightly taller than Sia or prolly because she's
on a five inches heels.
Well, Sia assumes since she smells and looks like someone
from a wealthy family.
The lady curved the corner of her lip in disdain the moment
she sighted what was transpiring.
She pulled to a stop, throwing glances at Mike, who bowed
his head to greet her.
"Good morning ma'am Danika." Both Mike and the other
security guard greeted. Respect laced their words.
"And what do we call this?" came the so called Danika's
voice.
"Uh...uhh... nothing much, ma'am Danika. We just want to throw
the trash away." Mike snapped, smiling sheepishly at Danika who in return
scowled.
However, Sia read meaning into his words.
He just called her trash!?
'Trash? Me trash?' She mumbled under her breath as her eyes
began to smudge more.
"Be fast about that, wouldn't like this to create a scene
here." Danika accentuated and began to take strides into the villa.
'Who is she? She can't be Lucas's sister because...because
they look so much different. Who could she be?'
Sia wondered.
She tilted her head back and studied Danika's retreating
figure and was in total awe when she spotted how the sun beamed on her creamy
skin.
Her straight legs made Sia feel inferior inside but that's
not the case now.
She has more important things at hand which is to see Lucas
so they could talk.
Maybe he could help
her rake for the person that set her mother on fire.
"Mr. Mike? You...you just called me...a trash?" she drawled, pointing at herself.
Sighs**
Mike sighed and rolled his eyes heavenward. "ain't you one?"
"But..." she tried to speak but something struck her mind.
She indeed look like a trash. She glanced at her body and
noticed for the first time how her clothes are in tatters, her skin covered
with charcoal.
In fact, she looked like a white girl in a dark skin at the
moment.
Not only does she look like a trash, she apparently lives in
a slum!
"isn't it obvious?" Mike's words snapped her out of her
reverie. She looked up at him and she felt the scorching sun rays bash in her
eyes immediately, making her look back down.
"You smell so bad. You look so bad. You dress so bad!" Mike
roared and his colleague burst into laughter.
"Hahaha...that's pretty harsh, Mike." The man spat, pinching
his nose as though what Mike spewed now is true.
Sia stinks.
Sia wrapped her hands on her face and was shedding tears.
They are slurring her.
They are abusing her with words.
"I just wonder how Mr. Lucas manages to spend fucking time
with you considering how you stink!" Mike laughed, covering his nose.
'Oh mum! Where are you?' She called out inwardly as waters
drifted from her eyes.
"Seriously! You're right Mike. I bet Mr. Lucas can't dare
plant a kiss on her forehead talk more of her parched, stinking lips." Said
Mike's colleague.
They're taunting her and she's just there powerless. Frail
and abashed of herself.
If she were that lady...Danika as she's called, will they mock
her like this? She asked herself.
If she were that Danika will they abuse her? Or restrain her
from seeing Lucas? She asked again.
But it's very obvious. It's as clear as day that they won't
talk to her like this.
They would respect her just like they respected Danika.
While still dunk in her pool of thoughts, Mike and his
colleague clamped her wrist again and pulled her up to push her outside the
gate.
But Sia did what actually surprised her. She mustered strength
from no where and bit Mike on his hand, making him wail.
"Ptui!"
She turned to his colleague and spittle on his face.
Then she turned to run inside the villa but bumped into
something. More accurately speaking, someone.
Sniffling, she could affirm the familiarity of his strong,
bergamot cologne.
Sia pulled back and saw him.
The man she came to see but was restrained.
A soft smile mixed with tears tugged her lips apart as she
ogled into his face.
However, she noticed that something's odd.
So odd.
Lucas didn't return back her smile.
Heck!
He kept a straight face. His coffee brown eyes bored into
hers and all she could see is anger!
Is he angry with her? She wondered.
"L-Lucas..."
"Don't!" His baritone voice that once sent shivers of
delight down her spine scared the little life she has left out of her system.
Sia hoisted her head to bore her eyes into his to understand
what's transpiring. "why?" she asked.
But she got the shocking response she never thought she
would get from him.
"It's over, Sia." He worded. His face stoic.
"What!?"
"It was all a game!" Lucas spat.
Her breath instantly hitched.
'Over?' Sia asked herself, inwardly.
She just can't wrap her head around what Lucas means by
'it's over.'
Sia lifted her head again, looking into his handsome face.
Lucas is handsome that he was able to trap her with his
looks the first time they met in the coffee shop where she once worked.
His small red lips is what she likes the most. Whenever he
kisses her, she finds herself in a trance.
In a web of love she knitted specially for them both.
His eyes brightens her up whenever she's in a bad mood. His
deep coffee brown eyes.
His voice? It sends soft shivers of joy down her spine whenever he talks to
her. It's so deep and melodious, she can't help but fawn over it.
His big hands cakes her body with goosebumps whenever he
touches her.
His height? It's a tower. He shields her with his height
that she feels so safe in the cocoon of his arms.
Everything about him is irresistible. He's what you could
call a sculpture of perfection.
Sia never thought they would date for over a year
considering the fact they hail from different world.
"What...do you mean by it's over?" her voice muffled. "what do
you mean by it was a game?" she added.
Lucas stood erect, hands on his sweat pocket. "You heard me
right, Sia. It was all a game." He reiterated.
Sia shook her head. It's like she's hearing a different
thing all the together.
Wasn't it last night that he openly confessed his love for
her?
He openly told her he loves her with every fiber of his
being, so what's with the 'it was all a game thing?' she asked herself.
"Lucas please quit this play. I want to tell you something
important..."
"I'm fucking serious Sia Macallista!" His slightly
high-pitched voice made her flinch.
Sia's heart sank to her stomach. Her hands were beginning to
tremble 'Beginning to tremble' because she's yet to hear the full story.
"How? Why?" she asked. She can't hold the tears again, hence
she let it course down her acne brimmed face.
"Because I made a bet with my friends to date you. We made a
bet, Sia. Hope you understand now?" he said so freely without any obstruction.
No pause.
No considering of her feelings!
Could Lucas be this heartless?
Could he play her to such an extent?
Of all days... of all time, why did it have to be now she
needed him the most?
Now, she needs someone that will console her!
Now, she's just not herself and needs someone to assure her that things will eventually pan
out well?
Now, she needs him to help her find the one responsible for
her mothers death!
His words are like blade knifing her heart. Sia slumped in a
new world of sorrow.
A world of betrayal.
A world of disbelief.
So love could hurt her like this someday?
She should have known better when people say they don't
believe true love exist!
'Lucas used me for a bet!?' she mused, inwardly.
"No, this can't be. It can't. At all." She squeaked.
In the heat of the moment, she loaded herself in his arms,
tugging his collar.
"I know you love me, Lucas. I know you love me. I can see it
in your eyes it's evident. You told you love me. So much than I know."
"You told me you'd do anything for me, right? You said it.
Months ago you told me how you're
willing to fight for me. For us . You assured me that being from different
worlds can't put us apart. Yes, baby you said it." She said, kissing his cheeks,
his brows, his eyes , his ears, his lips.
Sia's tears painted every part of his face. Lucas tried to
pull her out. He tried to stop her but Sia is determined. She kept her hold on
him as strong as ever.
She doesn't want to relent because he's her man and she
needs him by her side now. She needs him so much.
"Sia stop. Stop acting so childish, you hear me?" he routed,
trying to push her off of him but she held him strong.
Crying.
Weeping.
"You're the one acting childish, Lucas!" She hissed, in a
high-pitched voice, making Lucas to stop pushing her away from him.
'Yes, maybe I am. But it's for the best.' Lucas whispered
inwardly, locking his eyes with hers.
"What do you mean, Sia?" he asked.
"you're acting childish Lucas! How could you open your mouth
and admit to me you wagered with your friends about me? How could you play with
my feelings knowing you never loved me?"
"I don't know, Sia. All you should know is that, it's over
and it was a game." He croaked.
"No...no...no baby, we love each other. We love each other. I
know you love me. You promised me you'll make me the happiest woman in the
whole world right? You promised me." She pleaded, tears welling her eyes.
"That was all a lie." He worded, voice deep.
"No, it can't be. What about the promise ring you gave
me?" she wriggled the ring in her ring
finger that's embellished with their names. She waved the ring in front of him
and asked.
Lucas stiffened at the sight of the ring.
Heck! That ring wants to bring back old memories but he
can't allow it. Therefore, he maintained his cold demeanor.
"That's a lie too." He said.
Sia shook her head, unsure of what to say next.
Meanwhile, as this was going on Danika pranced out. This
time she was in what seemed like a bikini but covered her hips with something
that looked like a shawl.
"hey, hun!" Danika called out to Lucas as she snaked her
arms around his waist from his backside. Lucas jerked, slightly.
"What's going on?" Danika asked when she saw how Lucas and
Sia stood transfixed.
The corner of Danika's lips raised in sheer mockery.
"I thought your security men have thrown her away? What's
she still doing here? And who is she?" Asked Danika as she locked eyes with
Sia.
"Nothing, she's just about to go." Lucas wheezed in lieu of
a response about who Sia is to him.
However, Sia sniffled, she looked into his eyes now,
demanding for the last answer.
"Tell me you don't love me." She drawled. She's too weak now
to talk. She gasped for air, looking him in the eye. "look me in the eye Lucas
and tell me it's over and it was a game!" she demanded.
Lucas stiffened hearing these words from her. He looked her
in the eyes and all he could see is their past.
Their moments together as lovers.
The nights they shared.
His confession of love for her.
His willingness to fight, love and protect her.
He could see it. It's all swirling in her eyes
He almost fidgeted. Almost refrained himself from doing this
any further but he has to for his own good.
Then, he flapped his eyes open again and locked it with
hers.
Slowly, he lifted his lips and spat, "it's over, Sia. It's
all game."
These words sounded in Sia's ears. Her world crashed down
this minute as her heart slumped to her stomach.
With misty eyes, she looked him back in the eyes and nodded.
"I'll make sure you regret ever playing with my feelings. Lucas Evangelista,
you'll regret ever doing this to me. " she threatened.
But how will she make someone like Lucas pay?
'Oh Sia, you can't do a thing because he's rich you're poor.
Look at the woman he has in his arms. She's a beauty and you are all covered in
blotches.' Her conscience told her.
Sia relented, and decided to accept the truth. To live with
the truth.
She can't do anything to him, at all.
Just then, Sia threw the promise ring at him, wheezing for air as the lump in her throat made it
hard for her to breathe.
The tears in her eyes made it hard for her to see clearly.
Everything is a blur.
"Security!!" Danika called. Up on hearing Danika's voice,
Mike and the rest appeared. "Throw her out!" said Danika.
The men rushed to push Sia out but she warned them not to
touch her.
"I'll leave on my own. Don't touch me." She mouthed in
between tears.
She didn't look back
and Lucas couldn't tear his eyes off of her retreating figure. He looked
down at the promise ring on his foot.
Slowly, he bent down and picked the ring, swirling it in his
fingertips.
"Let's go back in inside, hun." Danika purred, dragging him
inside.
Lucas held back the tears that wanted to drip from his eyes
and sheepishly walked inside as Danika dragged him.
"Who is she to you? Was she your girlfriend? I thought mummy
Hera said you've broken up? I thought your uncle said so too?" Danika pressed
with her question.
"Look Lucas I quit my boyfriend because of you and we're
supposed to know each and love each other. So tell me. Do you still love her?"
Danika asked, worried.
It's obvious she feels something for Lucas.
Lucas pinched the bridge of his nose and spat, "she's no one
Danika. I don't love her."
"Great. It's just you and I. Soon, we'll get married. Glad
she's out of your life." She smirked, tracing her hand up and down Lucas's
back.
Lucas stood in front of the fountain in the middle of the
villa's garden, looking at it intently while his mind turned a tornado of
thoughts.
He clasped his hands at his back, eyes fixed on the water
gushing out. That's exactly how his thoughts are gushing out from the crevice
of his mind.
He wore a sleeveless Tshirt
that protuberated his thick muscles and looking at his right arm you
could see Sia's face drawn there.
He tattooed her on his body which clues you in how much he
loves and adores her.
She meant the world to him.
Huffs, he unclasped his hands from his back and dipped his
right hand into his sweat pant and wiggled out the promise ring.
Lucas twirled it around his fingertips, studying their names
that's engraved on the ring.
A symbol of his love for Sia.
"I made a promise to your parents Lucas before they
passed away." His uncle's voice reverberated in his ears.
"What's the promise?" asked Lucas.
"That I'll relinquish the Evangelista's property to you
once you become a man." Said his uncle.
Lucas stiffened on his stead, eyes never straying from the
ring on his fingertips as his mind jumbled with thoughts.
"But I will do it under one condition." Said the uncle.
Lucas remembered how expressionless his face was and shook
his head.
"Quit that girl you're dating and accept the marriage
contract I signed with the Wood family."
These cold words of his uncle's shot through Lucas's
mind. He gulped, loudly.
"How!?" his voice was shaky.
The thoughts of leaving Sia irritated him.
It scared him.
"We need the Woods contact and power to excel more in the
business world. Hera gave us that opportunity because of how both our families
were. Your father would have done the same thing if he was alive."
Lucas shook his head at the sound of that.
How can he be forced into a marriage he doesn't want?
Yes the Evangelista company is slightly facing some set
backs but that doesn't warrant him marrying a girl he doesn't want.
"I can't accept that, uncle. I can't marry anyone except
Sia." His voice was a low rumble as his thoughts went wild.
He was just with Sia hours ago. How can he suddenly tell
her this?
How can he suddenly break up?
"It's not like you don't know Danika! You know her. You
too were friends before she migrated to England so you know her and she's not a
stranger to you." Said his uncle.
"No, Danika and I were just friends. She's not the one I
love." He protested.
"Then, consider it a goodbye from getting your rightful
position as the heir of the Evangelista family..."
Before the man could finish, Lucas briskly interrupted
him.
"No, no uncle!" he called.
Sighs, he pinched the bridge of his nose.
At the moment he's walled into desperation.
No chance to make things right. To think things through.
He has one option.
And he chose the option.
"fine. I accept to marry Danika." He said with a shrug.
His uncle smirked, "good boy! Better call it quit with
that Sia girl. In two days time, I'll get you the documents to sign for the
marriage contract and the one for the family's property." Came his uncle's
voice.
Afterward, he stood up from the seat he was on and made a
beeline out of the living room of the villa.
Lucas sighed as what transpired yesterday came rushing back
in his mind.
"Sia, I'm sorry to disappoint you, baby. Truth is, I don't
know what else to say so you'd accept the breakup. So I had to come up with
this...hurtful words. I'm so sorry." Lucas
muttered. He blinked the tears that smudged his sight.
"I wish things didn't have to be this way. But it already is
and I've messed up. Big time. I wish you could forgive me, Sia. I wish."
Meanwhile at that moment, Sia stalked to their burnt house
and sat by the corner looking at the
mess.
Looking at the pieces and ashes her mother turned into.
Sia never feared anything but at this moment she has
developed a phobia for fire. Her last remaining family died same type of death.
Fire!
'I'll get revenge on whoever did this.' She mumbled inwardly
as tears burned her eyes.
'But how? What if they come back for me?' She thought. 'did
they plan to burn us all? Maybe that was their plan, to kill us all but I happened
to come back home very late last night.'
Things are slowly beginning to make sense to her now. She's
lucky she wasn't inside the house if not she'd have been dead too.
The whole Macallista would have been wiped out.
"God!" she called out. Her tears are now rippling down her
cheeks.
However, she suddenly felt queasy. Sia rushed to the gutter
and retched.
"isn't that Sia? Poor girl." She heard someone mumbled at
her back but she couldn't look to see who it was because she's still retching,
profusely.
"Her mother just died. Now she's homeless. I really pity
her." She heard someone butt in again.
"Let's move before anything happens again." Another woman
chimed in. And before she could turn to see their faces, they already left.
Sia huddled on the ground, devastated.
Her life here on out was worrying her. Where will she begin?
As her mind was
riveting in thoughts, someone called her.
"S-Sia?"
She knows that voice. It's very familiar hence Sia turned to
the direction it came from and there stands her nanny Ms. Celine.
Immediately, the tears plastered at the crevice of her eyes
coursed down. She stood up immediately and launched herself in Ms. Celine's
arms.
"My dear. How are you? I've looking everywhere for you."
"Aunt. Thank God you're alive. I thought..." she broke into
tears. She struggled to breathe due to the constriction she felt in her chest.
"I thought you died there too." She gushed, hugging her
nanny again.
"No my child, it's only your mother that was in there because
I went out to get somethings but came back to meet the house on fire." Answered
her nanny.
"Oh thank God..." she mouthed in between tears. Mucus effused
from her nose. Her face completely reddened.
"I don't know where we would stay but we have to find some
where and lay our heads." Said her nanny as she began to drag Sia away.
"Promise me one thing Celine." Celine remembered Sia's
mother's words.
"What is it Monica?"
"You have to protect Sia when I'm gone."
"where are you going?"
"they...they might come
for me any time. I know they'll."
"Who are they?"
"Just know they'll come back. They want me dead. They want us all dead. I know
it for sure."
These were the mothers last words before Celine left the
house and when she came back everywhere became a sea of fire.
Celine brought Sia where she had planned to spend the night
and they lay there.
However, Sia was still puking. 'I'm sick.' She sighed and
mumbled inwardly.
Two months later, Sia's stomach began to bloat and she was
heedless of the cause.
Celine too didn't notice that Sia's tummy was bloating
considering the type of cloth she puts on. Baggy Tshirt and one ragged denim
trousers she has left.
Sia resorted to menial jobs to make little penny they feed
with. Anything about pursuing her dreams.
Furthering her education is now at the back of her mind.
No hope again. Lucas's words kept haunting her. All the
while he has never bothered to see her.
This makes Sia believe it's truly over.
Afterward, Celine noticed Sia was pregnant and became utterly
worried of what will become of the child Sia was carrying. This worry continued
for months until the night Sia put to bed.
"Push...Sia c'mon you can do it. Just one last time!" Celine
urged.
"I can't..." She wailed.
"No, you can and you'll. Don't give up yet. You're bringing
a beautiful seed in this world. Keep pushing." Celine egged her on.
Sia bemoaned and pushed with the last ounce of strength she
has and then the baby came out.
She heard the baby's cry but it died down within minutes.
"Oh my Sia." She heard Celine squeak.
"Wh...what...is...it?" she stuttered, her eyes were heavy and was
clipping close.
"You lost the baby." Celine said in between tears.
Sia wanted to get up, hold her baby and see its face even if
it's dead but she couldn't. Her head slumped and that was the end of it.
When she woke up the next day, Sia didn't see Celine.
She waited for hours and days but Celine didn't show up.
Whilst wandering on the street one gloomy evening, she got
into a slight accident but the man was kind enough to save her.
While at the hospital, the strange man approached Sia with
smiles etched in his face.
"You are?" she asked
when she spotted the man beside her on the bed through the crack of her
eyes.
"Mr. Monson, lady. And you?"
'Mr. Monson? Isn't he the owner of the Monson group?' she
asked, eyes fixed on the man.
"Sia." She said dryly.
"Well, it's nice meeting with you Sia. You're such a pretty
girl." Said Mr. Monson.
Sia was not interested in him.
In fact, she has given up in whatever called love.
She hates the word now.
"How old are you?" the man's words cut through her thoughts.
"Twenty-two." She said casually and tilted her head to the
other side to avoid the man's gaze.
"Perfect!" the man exclaimed, making Sia shudder.
"What!?" she asked as she turned back her head.
"Marry me!"
These words threw Sia off guard. She's out of love and he's
asking her to marry him?
She barely even know him!
Just then, Sia drank in his features.
He has slight grey hair. Slightly tall, she assumes because
he's sitting down so she couldn't read his height well. Quite fat.
Overall, he should be inching close to late forties or early
fifties.
'Marry someone like him? Impossible!' she routed inwardly
and rolled her eyes at Monson which he noticed in one go.
"I could give you the life you want. I could help you
achieve your dreams." Mr.Monson added the moment he noticed her conflicting
thoughts.
He might look like he's too old but that's not true. He's
just in his late thirties but it's the nature of his body that makes him seem
too old.
Hearing his offers, Sia snapped her head towards him and one
thing struck her mind. 'Make Lucas pay. This is your opportunity to make him
pay. Revenge!'
Shakily, she parted her quivering lips, "and? What do I owe
this?"
"I want an heir." Said Mr. Monson.
Sia's thought went wild. Give him an heir?
She doesn't have a baby? How will she give birth whereas the one she gave birth to
died?
'Just accept this first Sia.' Her warring thoughts urged.
"Fine. I accept to marry you!" she declared.
