Chapter 1 In a grand room with a modern minimalist design

In a grand room with a modern minimalist design, a man stands in front of a large window overlooking the metropolitan city view. The man is Rama Wijaya, CEO of Wijaya Corp, a large company engaged in the technology sector. With a neat black suit, a perfectly tied tie, and neatly arranged hair, Rama exudes an aura of authority and charisma that is hard to match. He is only 36 years old, but he has already become one of the most respected company leaders in this country.

Rama is married to Nia, a woman who has been by his side for the past six years. They met when Rama was still starting his career, and Nia has always been a loyal supporter behind him. Although their marriage has not been blessed with a child, Rama never doubted his love for Nia. For him, Nia is everything. He was never once tempted to look at another woman, until one day...

One day that should have been ordinary, Rama met someone who unknowingly would change his life. That day, he was sitting in his office, engrossed in the company's financial report, when a knock on the door made him lift his head.

"Come in," his voice was deep and firm.

The door opened slowly, and a young girl entered with graceful steps. Instantly, Rama's eyes fell on the figure. The girl was named Maya, his new secretary who was recommended by the HRD division. She was only 23 years old, just graduated from university with cum laude predicate. Maya had a beautiful face, a slender body, and eyes that radiated innocence but at the same time confidence.

"Good morning, Mr. Rama," she greeted softly, her voice flowing like a soothing melody. "I have prepared the documents you requested."

Rama nodded, trying to stay focused on his work. "Thank you, Maya. Put it on my desk."

Maya walked over, placing the documents on Rama's desk with a smooth movement. As she turned to leave, a sweet, soft scent of perfume hit Rama, making him lose his concentration for a moment.

"Maya," called Rama suddenly, without realizing it.

Maya stopped and turned around, looking at Rama with questioning eyes. "Can I help you again, sir?"

Rama was silent for a moment. His brain worked hard to find a reason why he called him. "Ah, no. That's all, thank you."

Maya smiled faintly and nodded. "Okay, sir." She then walked out, leaving Rama who suddenly felt his heart beating faster than usual.

Rama tried to ignore the strange feeling, convincing himself that it was just because he was too tired from work. However, the feeling would not go away. Every time Maya came to his room, Rama felt something was different. The more they interacted, the harder it was for Rama to ignore his attraction to the young girl.

One day, when work at the office was very busy, Rama called Maya to his office to help complete some of the piled up tasks.

"Maya, can you help me with this presentation? I need to finish it before the board meeting tomorrow," Rama said, his voice a little tense from the pressure of work.

"Of course, Mr. Rama. I will help as much as I can," answered Maya as she sat on the chair in front of Rama.

They worked together in silence, only the sound of the keyboard could be heard between them. Every now and then, Maya would ask about the details of the presentation, and each time, Rama would patiently give instructions. However, the longer they sat close together, the harder it was for Rama to resist glancing at Maya. Her beautiful face and focused gaze made Rama feel a strange thrill in his heart.

As the night grew late and the office began to quiet down, Maya looked a little tired. She occasionally fixed her long hair, and occasionally she leaned back in her chair, taking a deep breath.

"Mr. Rama, it looks like we're almost done," Maya said, turning to Rama.

Rama, who was also starting to feel tired, nodded. "Yes, we are almost done. Thank you, Maya, for your help."

Maya smiled faintly, and that was when Rama felt something more than gratitude. There was a desire in his heart that he had never felt before. A desire that made him feel guilty, but also hard to resist.

Chapter 2 Maya put her finger on Rama's lips

That night, as Maya prepared to go home, Rama found himself saying something unexpected.

"Maya, how about we have dinner together? As a thank you for your help tonight."

Maya looked a little surprised, but then smiled. "Of course, sir. I'm very happy."

They both finally went to a restaurant not far from the office. During dinner, their conversation was relaxed and full of laughter. Rama found that Maya was a smart, fun, and mature girl despite her young age.

As the night progressed, Rama felt more and more comfortable around Maya. He felt something inside him that he couldn't control. Something that made him want to be closer to the girl, more than just a superior and subordinate relationship.

After dinner, Rama took Maya home. In front of Maya's apartment door, they stopped for a moment, looking at each other.

"Thank you for tonight, Mr. Rama," Maya said softly.

"Thank you too, Maya. You really helped a lot."

Maya smiled and nodded. "Good evening, sir."

Rama nodded back, but before he could turn around, Maya suddenly gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Rama was surprised, but did not refuse. Instead, he felt his blood rush faster.

"Maya..." Rama called in a voice that was almost a whisper.

Maya looked at him with a meaningful look. "Good evening, Mr. Rama," she said again before entering her apartment.

Rama stood in front of the apartment door for a few seconds, trying to comprehend what had just happened. However, one thing was for sure, that night was the beginning of something unexpected. Something that could possibly destroy everything he had built so far.

At the office, the interactions between Rama and Maya became more frequent. Every day, Rama felt himself sinking deeper into feelings that he could not control. Until finally, one night, after working overtime together, Rama could no longer hold himself back. In his quiet office, when it was just the two of them, Rama approached Maya with a gaze filled with the passion that he had been suppressing.

"Maya, I can't pretend anymore," Rama said in a hoarse voice.

Maya looked at him, surprised but at the same time understanding what Rama felt. She didn't say anything, just let Rama come closer and touch her face gently.

Slowly, Rama pulled Maya into his arms and kissed her lips. The kiss was soft at first, but then turned passionate. Maya returned the kiss, without any hesitation. That night, in the dark and quiet office, they were trapped in a vicious cycle that had been started by feelings that shouldn't have existed.

When it was all over, Rama was lying on the sofa in his room, with Maya beside him. Both of them were silent, trying to process what had just happened.

"Maya... I..." Rama tried to speak, but his words stopped.

Maya put her finger on Rama's lips, telling him to be quiet. "Mr. Rama, we don't need to talk about this now."

Rama could only stare at Maya with deep guilt. He knew that what had just happened was a big mistake. But, for some reason, there was a part of him that did not regret what had happened.

Thus begins their story, a story filled with intrigue, love, and betrayal. Rama knows that he has opened the door to a vicious circle that is difficult to get out of. A circle that may destroy everything he has, including his marriage to Nia, the woman he has always loved and respected.

Chapter 3 Nia, Rama's wife

Time passed after the night that shook Rama's heart and mind. He returned to his daily routine as a CEO, but something was different. Every time he was in the office, Maya was always on his mind. Even when he was at home with Nia, the feeling of guilt continued to haunt him. He couldn't forget what had happened, even though he knew it was a huge mistake.

Nia, Rama's wife, is a caring and understanding woman. She has always been a loyal companion, even in difficult times. However, lately, Nia has begun to feel a change in her husband. Rama has become more daydreaming and seems less focused when they talk. Nia feels that her husband is hiding something, but she doesn't know what it is.

One night, after having dinner together, Nia decided to talk to Rama. They sat in the cozy living room, accompanied by the soft sound of jazz music flowing from the speakers.

"Rama, lately I feel something is different about you," said Nia while looking at her husband attentively.

Rama was silent for a moment, trying to find the right answer. "What do you mean, Nia?"

"You often daydream and seem unfocused. Is something bothering you?"

Rama swallowed, trying to calm himself down. "It's nothing, Nia. Maybe I'm just a little tired from work at the office."

Nia nodded slowly, but she knew there was more to it than just tiredness. "If there's anything you want to talk about, Rama, I'm always here for you."

Rama smiled thinly, feeling even more guilty. "I know, Nia. Thank you."

However, even though Rama tried his best to cover it up, the guilt and anxiety weighed on him more and more. He felt like he was walking on a tightrope, ready to fall at any moment. Every time he met Maya at the office, the feeling grew stronger. Maya seemed to feel the same way, but they both tried to act as if nothing had happened.

But no matter how hard they try to ignore their feelings, the situation becomes increasingly difficult. As they work together, the tension between them is palpable. Their gazes, their accidental touches, all of it brings them back to that night, the night that changed everything.

One day, after finishing an important meeting with the board of directors, Rama called Maya into his office. He felt the need to talk about what happened between them, to stop this vicious cycle before it gets any deeper.

"Maya, can you come to my room for a moment?" Rama asked through the intercom.

"Of course, Mr. Rama. I'll be there soon," Maya answered in a calm voice, even though her heart was pounding.

Maya knocked on Rama's door, then entered after being invited. Rama was sitting behind his desk, his face looking serious.

"Maya, sit down," said Rama, pointing to the chair in front of him.

Maya obeyed, sitting gracefully in the chair. She felt nervous, not knowing what Rama would say. However, she also knew that this conversation was important.

"I think we need to talk about what happened that night," Rama said in a deep voice.

Maya was silent for a moment, then nodded. "I understand, sir."

Rama took a deep breath, trying to form the right words. "What happened that night was a mistake. We can't continue this relationship, Maya. I love my wife, and I don't want to ruin our marriage."

Maya listened intently, mixed feelings filling her heart. On one hand, she understood what Rama was saying. She knew that what they were doing was wrong. But on the other hand, her feelings for Rama were undeniable. She had fallen in love with this man, even though she knew it was a wrong love.

"I understand, sir. I don't want to destroy anything either. I just... I just can't help these feelings," Maya said in a soft voice.

Rama looked at Maya with deep guilt. He knew that Maya was also hurt by this situation, and that made him feel even more guilty. "Maya, I feel the same way. But we have to be strong. We have to stop before things get more complicated."

Maya nodded, though her heart felt heavy. "Okay, sir. I'll try."

After that conversation, they both tried to keep their distance. Rama focused on his work, trying not to interact too much with Maya. However, no matter how hard they tried, the feelings were still there. Every time they met, whether intentionally or not, the tension between them was palpable.

At home, Nia began to feel increasingly clear changes in her husband. Rama came home late at night more often, citing a pile of work. Nia knew that Rama's work was hard, but she felt there was something more to it. There was something her husband was hiding, and that made Nia increasingly worried.

One night, when Rama came home later than usual, Nia decided to wait for him. When Rama finally arrived home, Nia was sitting in the living room with a worried face.

"Rama, what's really going on?" Nia asked directly, without further ado.

Rama, who had just taken off his shoes, fell silent hearing Nia's question. He knew that his wife was starting to get suspicious, and that made him even more nervous.

"What do you mean, Nia?" asked Rama, trying to stay calm.
