Chapter 1 I Shouldn’t Fall In Love With A Yakuza (Chapter One)

"Hey! Stop! Stop right there!" shouted the policewoman while chasing criminals who tried to escape from her pursuit. The policewoman was agile and alert enough that in just a few minutes she was able to catch up and immediately lunged at the criminal until both of them fell to the ground. The policewoman knew how to position herself so she wasn't hurt; maybe just a few scratches, but not the thug whose face smacked the ground with success. There were many bruises and sharp scratches on her face. The policewoman swiftly grabbed the criminal's hands and handcuffed him.

"How dare you run from me, huh?! You bastard! Stay still! I said, stay still!" shouted the policewoman once again as she straightened the criminal's body violently.

"Irish!" The policewoman, named Irish, immediately turned her body after she was sure the criminal would not run away again. She found a petite woman in the same uniform as her, running up to her. When the woman arrived in front of her, the woman leaned on her knees and tried to catch her breath because she was panting after running after Irish. Irish, who saw the petite woman still looking tired, just rolled her eyes lazily.

"Kira Valdez, you're a policewoman. Why are you so tired of chasing after this?! It is our job to be after criminals!" Irish complained, seeing her partner still not making a sound because she couldn't control her breath. The partner just lifted and opened her palms, asking her to wait a moment until she could catch her breath. After she could, the petite woman who also works in the same profession as her showed a sullen face, which only added to her cuteness.

"Irish, I told you not to call me Kira. Call me Kaye. We are friends, right?!"

"Correction. We are co-workers."

"Irish! You are so cruel. I thought we were friends?"

"And you just realized that?!" Irish said with a tone of sarcasm. She once again rolled her eyes lazily when she saw her partner's spoiled behavior. She wondered why, of all the police, she could pair up with a woman who was definitely not like this cop.

"Irish." She then turned to the side when she heard her name called. Oh, finally she knows the answer to the question she asked earlier. She was able to pair up with this petite woman because of the person who called out to her just now. She had wanted to protest the person's decision, but given her position, she couldn't help but obey. Irish has always been polite to her own boss. So as soon as the person approached her, she immediately saluted and bowed to the person.

"Captain Smith." She said firmly to Captain Smith or Sandra Smith, a female captain from the police south of the City of Manila.

"How many times have I told you that you should just call me Sandra? I am your sister-in-law." If only Irish could, she would bang her head on the wall because once again she has to be faced with someone whose profession doesn't suit her attitude. Captain Sandra Smith, in front of her, has an attitude that is almost similar to Kira's, only the woman still looks mature compared to the latter. Sandra also has a face that is too beautiful to be a police officer in her opinion. She might as well be an artist or a model.

"And I have told you many times, when we are in the field, you are my boss. I should call you Captain Smith at all times." She replied, annoyed, and emphasized "Captain Smith" words to her sister-in-law.

"You're so annoying, Irish Smith." Sandra murmured while pursing her lips cutely. Irish wanted to tap herself on the forehead because she saw the captain's non-police attitude.

"Stop giving me that face. You make us look like women." She said it again. She was completely at her wits' end in dealing with these women around her. She seemed to forget that she was also a woman.

"Irish." Suddenly, Kira called her. She seemed to be trying to get her attention, but she was too focused on her bickering with Sandra.

"But we are women." Sandra didn't want to lose even a bit.

"But we are also cops. Oh My God. Why are all the female cops with me spoiled?!" She replied and complained about her current situation.

"Irish." Kira tried again, but the woman still ignored her.

"You're too tomboyish." Sandra said it again. She is stubborn when she is dealing with Irish, who she thinks is too serious and too passionate about her job as a police officer.

"I'm just doing my job." Irish also said she didn't want to lose. It's not in her nature.

"But Irish." Kira tried again and this time Irish turned to her, even though with an annoyed face because of her mouth fight with Sandra, which really bothered her.

"What is it this time, Kira? Don't bother me while I'm talking to the captain."

"The criminal's on the run again. We might lose him if we stay still." Kira said casually while pointing at the criminal who had run even though he was still quite close with his hands tied in handcuffs. Irish rolled her eyes at Kira as if to say 'why didn't you tell me earlier', to which only the petite woman responded by shrugging her shoulders as if she didn't know anything.

"Oh shit! Hey! Come back here!" Irish immediately ran again to chase the criminal while the two female police officers who were with her looked at her while talking to each other.

"Why is she so serious about her job anyway?!" Kira complained that she was not satisfied because while working with Irish, the woman had always been firm and rigid with her.

"I don't know, Kira. I wonder if she has a boyfriend, huh?!" Sandra thought seriously about a response that had absolutely nothing to do with Kira's complaint.

Chapter 2 I Shouldn’t Fall In Love With A Yakuza (Chapter Two)

Elsewhere, Irish, who was almost close to the criminal, could still hear the comments of her partner and sister-in-law. On her forehead was a square mark that showed her annoyance that the two of them had not helped her at all. She stopped for a moment and shouted at the two women who were still engrossed in their conversation about her.

"Hey! Both of you! Don't talk about me! We don't have time for that! Quickly help me catch that criminal or else you will know the consequences!" She threatened and immediately went back to chasing the criminal.

"Why are her ears so sharp?!" said Sandra before they started to run again.

At the police station, Irish sat herself down and rested her head on her chair. Today was so tiring. Very tiring. It wasn't because she had chased criminals twice. Oh no, that's not it. But she was tired because of the attitude of her own partner, Kira Valdez, and also the captain and her sister-in-law, Sandra Smith. She could never believe how these two spoiled women could pass the police exam and now work in Division 1, the division that specializes in investigating homicides and serious cases.

Even though she thought they were really annoying, she didn't deny that they were both very smart, especially her brother's wife. The analytical power of this beautiful captain is like the analysis of her favorite fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes. So detailed and fast. While Kira, besides being smart, is also the number one martial arts expert in the police area south of Manila. Her face doesn't show it, and she really doesn't like running. She thinks running only makes her tired and sweaty. Even if she's like that, don't ever make her angry. She would be like the devil and Irish had seen it once and, believe her, it was an experience that she didn't want to repeat again.

Sandra and Kira's closeness and action earned them the nickname of the Manila Female Version of Holmes and Watson. And Irish wants to be like that, but she still has a lot to learn. Irish, who is also as smart as the two beautiful and cute women, wants to have Sandra's analytical power and martial skills like Kira. Although she can do Judo, she always thinks that her strength is not comparable to the petite woman. In her own opinion, her outstanding ability is only one, namely her ability in computer hacking. She feels confident in that one specific field.

Irish smiled to herself when she remembered how great the two women were, but with an attitude that was completely opposite to their current profession. According to her, it is really strange if the three of them are considered as the pride of the police station in the southern area of Manila, Philippines, even though not all of them are native Filipinos. However, once again, it is necessary to remember that, because of their abilities, they can be well received and even become a mainstay in the police force.

"Irish." The voice calling her made her close her eyes open again. She lifted her head, then turned her chair and turned to the person who called out to her. In front of her was Kira, who had changed her uniform into a fashionable pink outfit, the woman's favorite color. She looked at her with a surprised look. Irish was confused as to why the woman was standing in front of her now. She knew that their working hours were over for today and they should have gone home except for the duty officer.

"Why are you still here? And with that outfit? Really, Kira?" She asked curiously. Kira just smiled sweetly, showing her cuteness, which actually had no effect on Irish.

"I want to ask you a favor." Kira replied as she took a seat next to Irish and didn't stop showing her white teeth. Irish raised an eyebrow when she said that.

"Ask for help? How can I help you, Kira?" Irish said, making Kira's smile disappear and replaced with her cheeks puffed up because she was annoyed that Irish still called her by a formal name.

"I told you to call me Kaye. Why is it so hard for you to call me that? I've been your co-worker for a long time, Irish. We should have become close friends and-"

"Okay, okay! Kaye! I will call you Kaye. Oh my God! Can you not talk as fast and as much? Damn it!" Irish exclaimed, annoyed because the woman kept talking, making her head tired. She was just about to let out her feelings when she saw Kira's cute face harden because she cursed earlier.

"Please don't curse." Kira said flatly. The expression on her face made Irish a little scared. She didn't want the angry Kira incident to happen again. She thought that if she refuted the woman's words, she could come home covered in bruises.

"Okay. Then what can I do for you, Kaye?" Irish said quietly now, still afraid if the woman showed her angry face. Meanwhile, Kira saw her willingness to help her, immediately clapped her hands and smiled broadly and brightly.

"Come with me on a date," asked Kira happily. Irish was silent for a moment, trying to understand the woman's request earlier. Her eyebrows then knit together trying to understand the meaning and purpose of Kira saying that, but it seems she can't understand or even refuses to understand because she said,

"Huh?"

"I said, come with me on a date." Kira repeated still with a big smile.

"Huh?"

"Geez, Irish. You have a problem with your ears, huh. I said, ``Come with me on a date." The woman said while shaking her head but still smiling because she thought Irish's confused face looked really sweet and cute.

"I heard the first one, okay? What I'm confused about is why are you inviting me?" Irish said, rolling her eyes, annoyed because the woman indirectly said she had problems with her ears.

"And why not?" sulked Kira, spoiled. She really wanted Irish to come with her.

"Are you crazy?! There's no way I could go on a date with you. I don't like that kind of thing." Irish said. In her heart, she hoped Kira wouldn't be angry because of her strong refusal. She is ready to run away if the woman shows her flagship weapon, the double stick. But she can be relieved because Kira actually cupped her hands in front of him while praying and begging her.

"Please Irish. Actually, this is my first meeting with my date. We met online. He is very kind and romantic."

"How do you know he's nice and romantic, though? You only know him through the internet. He could be a yakuza who only wants a girl to date for one night." Irish once again wanted to pat her forehead because Kira's innocence was beyond her thinking.

And that earned her a tap at the back of her head.

"Ouch! Kira!" She groaned, holding back the pain in her head due to the woman's heartless pat.

"Don't be so cruel. Anyway, you have to go because you said those things." Kira said firmly that she did not want to accept rejection from her.

"But..." Irish tried to refuse once again, but she couldn't continue when she saw Kira's sharp gaze. She gulped her own saliva because she knew what that look meant. She unconsciously nodded, and that made the woman happy. Kira then immediately pulled her to the changing room to change her uniform. Irish could only surrender when she was pulled by the woman. As she said earlier, she didn't want Kira's angry incident to happen again. She shuddered in fear when she remembered that experience.

Chapter 3 I Shouldn’t Fall In Love With A Yakuza (Chapter Three)

Irish, together with Kira, entered the café where the woman and her blind date had an appointment. They both chose a seat by the window overlooking the street. Kira said that it would be easier for them to see her blind date when he came. The woman also said that although she didn't know what her blind date actually looked like, she already knew what clothes he would be wearing so that if he came, Kira could easily guess.

But Irish thought that Kira just wanted to look on the street and spot on any handsome man she could find. Even so, she only followed the woman's wishes. The two then ordered drinks and snacks while waiting for Kira's blind date to arrive. They did come ten minutes earlier than the appointment time. Kira was so excited.

While waiting, Kira kept on complaining about Irish's way of dressing. Currently, she wears a white shirt combined with a gray blazer and trousers of the same color material that looks like she has owned it for quite some time. Meanwhile, Kira wore a pink dress with a fake two-piece model that gave the impression of wearing a blouse and cardigan, making her look very cute. So there's a big difference between the two of them. One is fashionable, while the other one doesn't care about how to dress. For Irish, as long as she is comfortable, she will never have a problem with clothes.

On the other hand, Irish couldn't stand Kira's complaints and grunts. She suddenly stood up and intended to leave the woman only if Kira didn't arrest her immediately. Kira apologized and would not mention her way of dressing. Irish was just about to feel relieved until she heard what the woman said.

"But I will make you look more like a woman, Irish. Trust me. I will take you shopping and let you enjoy the treatment during our day off. Oh, the joy of shopping brings!" Hearing that, Irish immediately froze. She was still standing before Kira pulled her to sit back down because their order had arrived. She was still too shocked because she had to be with the woman all day long.

Meanwhile, from a car parked directly across from the café, three men were paying close attention to the café. Perhaps to be more precise, only one person was paying close attention while the one in front of the driver's seat was silent and seemed to be waiting for orders from the person in the passenger seat, and the other one looked bored and wanted to leave that place, and he firmly voiced his wish.

"Wendell, let's just get out of here if you don't have the guts to approach that woman. I'm tired of being here an hour ago." He complained to the man who was still looking at the cafe. Oh no, more precisely towards the woman in pink, who was enjoying her favorite parfait at the café.

"Hey, Wendell."

"Shh! Shut up, Zach! I'm still planning a strategy, okay?" The burly man named Wendell shot back in annoyance. Meanwhile, the man who was called Zach only raised his thick eyebrows when he heard the man, who was clearly older than him, say the most absurd thing.

"Wendell, we are not at war with other gangs. Why do you have to strategize everything? You just have to get out of this car and go into that café so I can go home and sleep. That's so easy."

"You really are a big help, young master Esqueza." Wendell quipped because he was so annoyed with the man's behavior, which he thought didn't help at all. If he can be honest, right now he is very nervous about meeting Kira, who looks very beautiful and cute in his eyes. Wendell, who had only ever seen the woman's face through photos on the internet, didn't think that Kira would be as beautiful as she is now. She is glowing.

At first, if Kira looked the same as in the photo, he would come down and get acquainted. Maybe he would try to have a more serious relationship with her because he feels like he fits after being friends in cyberspace for so long. But after seeing that his virtual friend was beautiful and adorable, he suddenly became discouraged. The big man is never smooth when it comes to beautiful women. All he wanted was an ordinary woman who exuded a motherly aura. It's just that the women who approach him are always beautiful and sexy. He never got a woman of the type he wanted. So, you can imagine how happy he gets when he finds out that he can find the woman of his dreams on the internet with a look that he thinks fits all his criteria.

However, his hopes were dashed when Kira looked stunning in her clothes and with a charming smile. Wendell sighed heavily, lamenting his fate. Since he knew the woman's real appearance, he was reluctant to enter the cafe. But he knew he had to go in and introduce himself anyway. He's a real man. A gentleman. And a real man won't let a woman wait for him any longer. Nice and steady, he opened the car door and grabbed Zach's hand, which was beside him, and pulled him out of the car as he headed to the cafe.

"Why are you dragging me?! You said I will be on standby just in case something happens! Hey! Why am I coming too?! Wendell!" Zach exclaimed while trying to release Wendell's tight grip. But the man didn't care and continued his steps into the cafe with Zach behind him. He is a real man and can definitely face Kira.
