Wolves Hour

In ancient times, the fight between the werewolves and the vampires is always the worst and the most rugged. The werewolves believed existence of vampires is pure evil and the fact that their food source is the same which is human. Werewolves are mortal and age just like humans while Vampires do not and they are immortal. Back then, Vampires are always active during the night and comatose or dead during the day because their body react to Sun.

"Sun" top weakness vampires but that's not the case anymore as they now use a sun absorbing ring to protect themselves from the effect of the scorching sun. Far away from the city is a pack of wolves living in harmony,staying very hidden and this pack is headed by Alarik. A teen girl is seen running barefooted in the woods. Leaping from one tree to the other and then suddenly her hands turned hairy, her face grew larger and hairs covered her body before changing to a complete wolf form. The wolf howled so loud sounding in trouble. Another big wolf could be seen pounding its heavy body after her and finally it caught up on her by veering across the escape path. The female wolf raised her hackles, and lups curling at the same time with her tucked tails. The other strange wolf continued pacing up and down as if examining her. "Stop" A man said from nowhere and the female wolf recognized the command. She changed back to a very beautiful young girl of 19 years. Blue eyes, brown hair and deep rosy lips. She's not wearing shoes and her clothes are tattered from the transformation. "Father" she exclaimed. The strange wolf changed to a good looking man with a sharp gaze, just too pretty for words and he's got beards. The man is Akira's mate but she's not ready to leave her pack for marriage. "Hmmm look who we've got here, Alarik!" "Troy I'm sorry for my daughter's rudeness" Alarik said. "No I love her strength and her will. Despite being so young, she wanted to fight me" ᴀᴋɪʀᴀ Father is definitely going to scold me, i didn't do anything wrong anyway he's the one always stalking me. I'm Akira, the only female in the pack and according to rules, any female heiress of the pack must find her Alpha mate and get married to him. That means I'll have to join another pack and be the weak bride of the family but that's not my goal. I've always tell dad that I'm different. Once he's gone, I want to protect my pack, I want to be a female Alpha. Aunt always tells me I have everything it takes to be a female Alpha but the neighbouring Wolves won't let us rest and keep threatening us because of our number. I was brought back to reality when Dad pulled my ear away from the scene. And I saw him apologizing to that wicked Alpha. My dad is an Alpha as well but he doesn't understand that number is nothing but strength matters. We got back to the hideout and I hit my fist on the table which went breaking down immediately. I have that one temper like a baby. "Dad don't you understand? I don't want my alpha mate. I want to achieve my goals" I said clenching my fists. A̶l̶a̶r̶i̶k̶ Akira is the youngest in the pack and I won't dare to risk her life or anyone else. Troy is a long time enemy who caused her mother's death and now he's back because he is her Alpha mate. That is the worst thing that has ever happened to me but she's too young and weak to understand anything though she's got the will and that wonderful mind of taking risks. She doesn't fear anything and that's only because she hasn't been to the outside world. She grew up in this forest experiencing different fights in the last 19 years. Humans hunting us down and the vampires always looking for us. "Akira you are not that strong to protect yourself not to talk of the whole pack" "Come on Father look at me.... Do I look that weak to you?"she said agitated and smacked the table down into two with her bare hands. Then Vera came inside the room,she's Akira's aunt. "Alarik why are you discouraging her? At least she has learned how to control her temper" "Oh like this?" He said pointing to the broken table on the floor. "Well it happens" Vera said. "Follow me" Akira followed his father and they went to a stream. Now it's dark and the moon is fully seen. "Why are we here father ? It's not even full moon anyway. She said with a gloomy look on her face. "I want you to fight me without changing!.he said maintaining a ready to attack pose. "What? But how am I going to do that without changing?she questioned. "Why? So your wolf strength is all you've got! Ah ah" He scoffed at her. "Listen up girl.. You can't do anything." He grabbed her and said it right to her face. Akira got angry and she grabbed her father's hand trying to turn him over but Alarik was quick to fling her away. Alarik changed to his wolf form and Akira stood firmly growling. C̶h̶a̶n̶c̶e̶ L̶a̶n̶d̶ The Forbes are the richest Vampires in town but they chose to live like normal citizens of the country. They use their previous years they've lived in different countries to accumulate wealth and resources but to avoid being noticed, they move from one place to another and now their stop for now is chance land They don't feed on human blood because they wanted to change human's perspective about them. Although there are still dangerous vampires out there that feeds on human blood but the Forbes chose to be different. Morgan is the head of the family and his wife Caroline is a strong woman as well.They've both lived for hundred of years Viko is the wicked and daredevil type that pick on weaklings but the good thing she had done in life is not feeding on humans but she's scary. And she's 60 years old but looked 18. Black is the eldest,he's 70 years old but looked the same age as Viko. He is quiet and doesn't keep friends. I mean none of them keep friends for security reasons. He's very handsome with his white face, thick eyebrows and long eyelashes and hot body like he's working out or something. The family are seated at the dining each sipping blood from their cup like having a party. "Carol did you attend the school's PTA meeting yesterday?" "Yes I did... It's now a routine" "Mom you really don't need to stress yourself it's not like we are going to stay here for long." Viko said "Anyway if you are in Rome, behave like Romans. We are living amidst humans so we should at least behave like them." Caroline said. "Oh you mean drinking blood like human does? Fuck mom they should be happy we ain't biting off their neck." Vik said abruptly but then she started choking and struggling to breath. It was Morgan that did that to her. "Father please." Black said with a straight face. Morgan reduced his intense stare and Viko threw the bloody glass to the wall. She sped out of the house with her speed like wind. "You need to take it easy with her. We know she's fierce." Caroline said as she tried to trace her windy movements. "And wicked." Morgan cuts in. "I'll go get her. We can't be late to school this morning." He said and picked up his bag before leaving. "Yea humans rules." Morgan said with harshness in his tone. "Yes dad whatever" Black dropped his glass and sped off as well. "What about Mr.Bennet? You heard anything from him?" Caroline questioned. "That old man is one stubborn grand father. He said he found out an old toolbox that contains weapons that can hunt down werewolves" "Really?Any progress?" "Yeah he was successful in proving it and he's out hunting them down" "When is he coming back to chancel land?" "In two days" "It's high time we stop hiding from those animals" "Yes I guess" He seems to be lost in thought. Caroline: Hey Morgan stop thinking, the ball is in our court now, we will avenge your sister's death

Black tracked Viko to an abandoned building and turns out she's been making friends. Viko sensed his presence and she smiled rising up from her seat. "What's up brother" Her two female friends continued whatever they weree packing. Black:What do you think you are doing? He asked without giving an expression. He's always been like that no emotion at all. "Oh this? Just catching fun with friends" "Yeah friends that's the shit I'm asking you right now.

What do you think will happen once dad finds out about your?...friends!" "I don't care,maybe try to kill me like always" "Listen Vik, he was only trying to correct you and you walked out on him" "Nope I ran because I wanna bunk classes today" "Wait what? You not going to school today?" "Yeah by the way how did you find me?" "It will be better if you compel these human things to forget about you before dad finds out" One of her friends approached them with a smile. "Hi Black... Viko so he's your friend" "Bitch he's my brother" "What wow? That explains why he's freaking handsome. But you guys don't talk at school" She faced Black. "I'm Anna you look good you know" "Last warning to you Viko" He turn around to leave but Anna jumped at his front. "Hey cute boy, you don't talk in school at least try to be friendly outside" Black pushed her to a side with his finger by poking her shoulder and she fell down. "I don't do humans" Then he left. "What the fuck is wrong with your brother" Ariana said. "What does that mean? He doesn't do humans?"Kate asked. "That idiot always put me into trouble. Uhm no not really he did not mean that... Actually he doesnt do girls" "What?" "Wow someone so hot like that" Anna said drooling already. "Don't fall for my brother. Not gonna work on him" Black was on his way to school when he noticed someone following him secretly. He stopped for a while to get the footsteps and he found out the approaching visitor is not human. He went to a silent place and turned back at the stalker. "You again?" Black said. "Yeah me, what's up?"Luke replied with a grin. "Get lost! not this morning" "Oh really? The good vampire wanna play human I guess. Yeah right you do go to school" "If you are an animal behave like one and live in the forest not among innocent people" (Luke is a vampire as well but he feeds on human blood so he's much more stronger than Black) Luke got angry and his eyes glowed red panting heavily till his canines are seen. He growled and sprints towards Black ready to attack him but Black caught his hands and flung him away. "You sure you wanna fight me? You and your family feed on chicken's blood so you not that strong" luke said standing up. "Little energy I have is enough for trash like you" Luke is faster than him and he punched him hard on the face. Black staggered back and Luke slash his back with his long sharp claws. Black grabbed him and gave him a headbutt before kicking him away. He sped to him and pushed him to the wall. The wall of the building cracked and dust filled everywhere. Luke turned him around and hit his back on the wall as well. Black's canines are out as well and his vampire face came out as black veins crawled up his cracked face. Black punched Luke severely but still he doesn't look affected by it. He smirked and thrust his hands into Black's chest pinning him to the wall. Black groaned in pain because he's holding his heart. He's bleeding and he coughed out blood. Luke lean closer on him and tightened his grip on his heart. "One move and you're gone weak vamp. You and your family are a disgrace to our species maybe you should know that." Black tried to push him back but he's too weak to even move his finger. Luke tortured him for minutes before letting him go. He glanced at his bloody hand and he laughed out like devil. Black fell on his knees holding his chest. "See you around boy" then he left with his monsterous speed. Black tried to stand up but ended up falling down again. He punched the ground and he stood up again. He examined his chest and watched his wound closing up. He returned back home because of his stained clothes. Lorina Forest Akira was picking wild berries with her aunt when she heard the news. "Yes Akira... In two days you're getting married" Vera said with a forlorn look. She dropped her basket and ran to meet her father. She was panting heavily that someone could barely hear her words. "Hey calm down and talk" She tried the breathing techniques that her father taught her to do when she's not calm. "Father I won't get married" She blurted out. "Are you here to tell me that?" "Father please" "You could not even land a kick at me successfully not to mention touching my face last night" "You know I can't do anything without my wolf strength" "Thats why you are not up to the task" "Father... Troy is going to the city with his pack in few months" "What? Who told you that?" "I happened to sneak into their camp and I heard him telling his pack that's why I didn't wanna marry him" "No I don't believe you" "He deceived you Fatherr, you've never allowed me to go near the city or even run on the painted roads tellmg me it's dangerous out there so how can I follow him to the city?" "Stay right here I'll be back" Alarik changed to a werewolf and ran through the thick forests. He arrived at Troy's base and met him packing things together in a sack. "Going somewhere?" Alarik questioned as he morphed back into human. "Oh hello Alarik" Troy said "Since you are cleaning up your camp are you going somewhere?" "Uhm yes actually I'll be moving to the city with my pack in few days" Alarik face down disgruntled and he heaved a sigh before moving closer to Troy. "I told you the city is not for people like us... It's dangerous" "And who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do?" He said displaying his words by swaying his hands mockingly. His people laughed at the joke and made a pitiful face at Alarik. "Hey old man I'm an Alpha... I'm not scared of any fucking hunter or predators out there" "My daughter is not going with you" "You don't get to decide that you know. She's my bride to be" Alarik nod his head and he turned back to change before mounting the high rock. Akira was very happy to see her father and she keep lingering around him and smiling. "Father how was the meeting?" "What did he say?" "What's going to happen now" When her questions was becoming too much, he faced her abruptly. "Akira, by chance do you wanna run for few days?" Akira grinned like silly and she nod her head like a baby given candy. "Yes Father, I don't wanna marry him" "Alarik what do you mean by running away? You know Troy he's gonna cause trouble and attack us"Vera cautioned. "What? Father are you scared of him?" Akira said. "Akira that man killed your..." Then Alarik slapped her and she fell on the chair. Akira covered her mouth out of shock because she has never seen her father looking so angry. "Father!" She gasped and staggered back. Vera stood up and went out angrily. "Look Akira I'm sorry calm down please" "No Why did you hit her? What are you hiding from me?" Akira keep shouting on him and he hug her saying sorry. Minutes later.... Alarik took Akira to a cave and he brought out a big box. "What is this Father?" "Wait for it" He sprinkled a powder on the rock and asked her to touch it. She glare at it curious about what her father is trying to tell her. Akira jab her hands into the powder to take out of it but it burned her hands and she flnched. She looked at her fingers and it's red all over with her skin peeling off "What the heck is this?" She said sounding scared. "Grinded Wolfbane" "What?" Alarik sat her down and explained every possible thing that can be used against their species. "But what about Vampires? Why are they always after us?" "We don't get along Akira. They are selfish and worst creature ever. If you happen to come across them you must run" "Are they stronger than us?" Akira asked. "Yes if you are alone but if you are with your pack? There's an advantage" "How will I recognize a vampire? I've never seen them in their human form" "Long canines, white face, pale cold bodies and they look so human that you might not suspect them. Also their eye color changes every week" "Tell me more please" Alarik: Vampires have a long list of vulnerability;The sun, garlic, vervain and stake, but these days the sun is not a threat anymore. Do you know one thing about us? We werewolves are stronger and harder to kill. If you have the inner energy and blessed by the moon, you might turn out to be different. "We are cursed with the moon how can I be blessed by it?"Akira muttered to herself. "Anytime you are lost or sad just howl at the sky... I'll always show up for you" " Why are you sounding as if you are going somewhere?" "Stand up lets work on your human strength" "Okay Father" Somewhere unknown A man is seen arranging his weapons and old ancient tools inside a box. Wolf bane, revolver, silver bullets and all other dangerous weapons. A lady came inside to report to the old man in his 60s. "Mr.Bennet, we've gotten the location of those beasts" He closed the tool box and a smile curled up his mouth. "Are you sure it's the right footprint you saw" Mr.Bennet said. Lady:Yes Sir and they are not just few but two different packs. Mr.Bennet wore his gloves and removed his giant sword from the sheath pouring wolf bane stuff on it. "We attack tomorrow" A day after.... Troy's pack came over and they started setting everything up since it's the wedding day. Akira gave them a killer eye but they ignored her and smirked at her. Now she's losing her patient and she's growling silently. Her eyes started getting long and her feet getting hairy. Aunt Vera touched her and she returned back to her human form. "You can't do anything stupid" "Where is Father?whats taking him so long?" "It's okay baby... You will escape soon don't worry"

ᴄʜᴀɴᴄᴇ ʟᴀɴᴅ Early morning,Caroline called everyone out and informed them about their neighbour's invites. The family living next door invited them to a wedding since they are also new in town and the Forbes are their only neighbour. "Come on it's a day trip and we gonna return that same day" Carol said in a pleasing tone. "I'm not happy about this, humans are not trustworthy" trailing off his words, a quick flash of his painful memories came to him. "I'm not going mom" Black said sternly.

(Black is just a young Vampire with lots of painful memories,and out of em all is his hatred for humans when he trued befriending them but they turned back on him and sold him out after knowing who he was. Thanks to his family who never stopped being there for him and all these painful experiences turned his heart to that of a stone.) "Me too" Viko said. "Husband don't you get it? We've been here for two years yet no friends and our social part is zero. That is enough for people to suspect us. Remember your words "if you are in Rome, behave like Romans" "But this is not Rome" Morgan said teasinly. "You know what I'm saying stop teasing me" " Okay okay as you wish" "Dad!" Black groaned. "We are going that's final" ɴɪɢʜᴛ ᴀᴛ ʟᴏʀɪɴᴀ Troy's pack are standing by the halter and Alarik's pack as well. Akira was dressed in an ancient wedding dress with a crown made of tiger's skin. She is looking so pretty and full of grace but sad. Alarik went to her and tied a chain round her neck. "Wedding gift... Are you kidding me?" Akira said broken-hearted. "No, it will protect you" "From what?" "From other Wolves out there. It will conceal your identity as a werewolf" Akira hugged her father sobbing because she knows her father is finally sending her to the society. " Thank you Father... I'll be expecting you" Then they heard gunshots being fired and people screaming. The invaders are very fast and their eyeballs are red. "Oh no... Hunters" Alarik said. "What? Those foolish humans again?" "No they look like vampires" "What? How's that possible?" "Akira,they are not the group that do attack us I think they are here to hunt us down" " No matter what dont come out okay?" "No but i can help" Akira said in protest" " Trust me okay?" Alarik asked Akira to stay inside and he went out to join the fight. Rain of silver bullets penetrates their huts and scary growls filled the atmosphere. The vampires attacked them with their weapons but later switched to combat. One Vampire sank his teeth on Troy's arm and he got old of him punching him severely before ripping his head off. He growled and changed to his wolf form. The vampires are winning but Troy, Alarik and Vera didn't relent. Mr.Bennet came out of the dark part of the forest and he stabbed one of them. The female werewolf shrieked and the wounded part start burning and emmiting blue flame. Mr.Bennet removed the sword and cut her into two. The werewolves saw this and they stopped the fight looking so confused and scared. "How is that possible?" They thought. Mr.Bennet raised the sword up and wiped the blood off it. "You are all surprised? Well it's time for you all to go extinct" Troy command all of them to run and they started scampering around. The vampires chased everyone and sprinkled mistletoe on their house before setting it on fire. Akira is still inside and the smoke was suffocating her. She starts coughing and tried to get out but couldn't because Alarik blocked the entrance. She saw her people being killed brutally and some werewolves fleeing. She screamed when she saw her aunt(Vera) got killed by the leader of the vampire. "Aunt!" She screamed and climbed the roof. She destroyed the roofing materials with her claws and she jumped down pouncing on a vampire. She thrust her sharp claws into his neck and bite his ear off. The vampire flung her away looking so angry. Akira growled fearlessly as blood drips down her mouth. The vampire sped to her and hold her neck lifting her up from the ground. She starts kicking the air because she's no more standing on her feet. Alarik came over and knocked the vampire down "Akira" "Father" She coughed out and her father helped her up. "You must leave " "But Father... Aunt Vera... " she hesitated but when the bitter truth surfaced to her, she burst into tears... "She's dead... Father I can't leave you all alone" " I'll be okay remember what I told you? Whenever you are sad or lost just howl at the sky I'll find you" "Father please" she said pleadingly. "Akira you've got to survive okay?" Akira wiped her tears and ran away from their base but while running, an arrow hit her. Mr.Bennet tried to follow her but Alarik jumped to his front and made an attack. Another group of vampires followed her. Akira keep running and the vampires didn't stop following her as well,she's bleeding and the silver mouth of the arrow is affecting her badly,seems it was coated with something dangerous. They are using their speed but Akira is very fast as well. She keep jumping from one branch to the other,she's damn fast. Unfortunately, she got to the dead end. There's a cliff and down below is a running water. She halted and turned back only to see the glowing eyes of the vampires. It's very dark to see each other's face but they were able to recognise themselves with their eye color. Akira is panting heavily and looking at the ocean below, she glanced back at the vampires. The lady vampire loaded her gun with silver bullets and point It at her When she saw the gun, she knew it's not anything good so she decided to jump. She turned swiftly to make a jump but the female vampire sped up to her and clawed her neck while trying to pull her close. She slipped from her grip and fell into the ocean. Unfortunately she hit her head on a rock. The vampires tread downhill to search for her but when they didn't see any traces of her,they returned back to the camp. Its 6:00 in the morning. The forbes are returning back to chance land from the wedding. Viko and Black are awake looking so evil and angry. "Gosh you scared me... Both of you look scary" "You said it's only a day trip" Viko said. Caroline:You enjoyed yourself anyway so case closed. "I can't believe this... I'm very hungry right now" Black said. "Oh what to do? You've finished the blood banks I packed for you guys" Carol said. "Can we stop for a while to hunt?" Viko proposed. "No never. What if you get into trouble"Morgan said. ʀᴏᴀᴅsɪᴅᴇ Akira opened her eyes weakly and her breathing is faint. Her brain is messed up and seems she didn't remember anything considering she hit her head on a rock but she healed pretty fast. She noticed her hand bleeding,also with broken arrow on her back so she removed it after great difficulty and the silver bullet with her sharp claws. "I'm a werewolf?" Where is Father? Only her childhood memories was left with her and she believed she probably got lost. She tried to stand up but she's weak. She could hear distant sounds. Sounds of birds chirping, bee buzzing and car approaching. Then she heard people chattering. She staggered to the road barefooted. She didn't know what the road is for, she thought it's a special painted floor for people to have fun. Her father never allowed her to go out of the forest. She heard fast approaching sound and when she turned back to look at it, it's a car coming so fast at her. She was shocked and couldn't move. Viko and Black were arguing with their Mother and she was not looking at the road. " Carol look out!" Morgan warned. She saw a young girl standing on the way and she got scared considering itwas so sudden. Morgan swerved the car away to the other side and Akira passed out with the shock of it. Everywhere went silent and Caroline was trying to catch her breath. Black raised his head up. "Stupid humans" said Black. The family came down from the car but maintained their distance. "Oh no...its a young girl" Caroline said forlonly. "Is she dead?" Black asked uninterested. "That's good if she's dead, we can as well drain her blood and dump her body" Viko said. ":Shut up Vik" Mrs.Forbes moved closer to Akira lying unconscious on the floor due to shock. "Oh my goodness she's a girl of your age" "Of our age you mean 70 right? Mom stop this human shit and let's go" Black retorted. Caroline knelt beside her and touched her face. Her dry face and perched lips melted her heart to mild and she smiled at her. "Wife what's wrong?"Morgan questioned. "I don't know what it is but i feel like I'm drawn to her,.something in me likes her" she said. "Just hundred of years and you are behaving human already" Morgan said. "Seriously?Mom!" Black whined.
