Elena's POV
"Aunt, I'm off now" I shouted from our small living room.
I hear aunt's footsteps rushing towards me.
"Don't go without my blessings" aunt said.
I smiled and bent to her level, and she quickly placed a kiss on my right cheek, which I mentally rolled my eyeballs at because she does this every and any time I'm about to go out, something about her passing good luck unto me -elderly people and their superstition beliefs.
"May you find a kind-hearted, god-fearing, rich and handsome husband soon, may you...."
I cut her off with my laughter, she stopped and glared daringly at me.
"Aunt, I still have a lot of time. I don't want to think about marriage, or finding a husband just yet" I told her.
She rolled her eyes and shook her head at my dumb words (well, she always thinks my speeches are dumb), then smacked me on my back.
"Don't jinx yourself. You know how much I want to see you happy, and besides, I want you to get married soon and give me many grandkids".
Hmm. Ok, that's literally her greatest wish, ever.
But I really wonder who on earth would want to marry me, I'm not educated and beauty isn't something I'm gifted with either.
Though I can read a bit by bit, but I don't know anything about class -I'm not classic at all.
"Elena, are you listening to me?" Aunt's question pulled me back to reality.
I nod slowly, and show her my brightest smile.
"Yes, aunt. I'm listening".
"Then why aren't you answering Amen to everything I've been saying?" She asked, eyeing me.
"I did" I replied.
Aunt scoffed and sat on the only sofa we have in our house.
"I didn't hear you" she said sulkily.
I sigh. "Amen!" I said.
You see, my aunt is a childless widow. Her husband died of cancer 15 years ago.
So, when my parents died in an accident, she took me in and cared for me like a real mother. Though she's poor, she always tries her very best to make me happy, and I'm genuinely grateful to her.
I begin to massage her shoulder gently.
"Don't worry, aunt. I'll bring home a wealthy, god-fearing, strong and handsome gentlemen one of these days" I confidently assured her, as if it's that easy to pick up a man with so many good qualities.
But she beamed brightly because I've just said exactly what she wanted to hear.
"Good! So... "
"I'm off now" I cut her off politely, and ran out before she'd start with her lectures.
"This girl" I heard her muttered, but didn't turn back.
★★★★
The December breeze slapped my face, and blew past my ears as I jumped and sung happily in my melodious voice -yeah, my voice is the only thing I'm proud of.
Well, I'm currently on my way to a birthday party, it's actually a kid's birthday party, but I was hired to perform some kiddies songs.
I arrived at the place in no time. I pressed the doorbell and waited patiently for someone to come out.
The door opens and a middle-aged woman steps out, she's wearing a white and black striped uniform, so I knew at once she's the nanny here.
"Good afternoon, ma'am" I greet her.
"Good afternoon, my dear. Are you looking for someone?" She asked me.
"Uh... I'm the singer who was hired to perform here" I told her.
"Oh, I see. Please hold on a second, let me confirm with my boss" she said.
I nodded and she rushed back inside. After waiting for a few minutes, she came out again, but with a lady and a little boy this time.
The boy's dressed in fancy clothes, and he held a balloon in his left hand, he must be the birthday boy.
"Ma'am, this is the girl" the nanny said.
The lady smiled at me warmly, and I smiled back, she has this welcoming aura around her.
"Dear, you were a bit late, our boy couldn't wait that long, so we hired someone else" she said.
My shoulders swayed down, and I pouted in disappointment, immediately she said those words.
"What about I perform after her?" I asked suggestively, with a hopeful smile.
But then, the little boy stepped forward and pushed me back.
Wow, he's stronger than his age.
"No! I don't want you to sing at my party, you're dirty" his eyes were zeroed on a spot on my dress.
I looked down at my sundress, and saw a big red stain on it, which made me frown, as I wondered where I got the stain from.
"Zion, don't say that" his mother cautioned him. "Now apologize to her" she ordered him.
But he simply glared at me even more, scoffed and turned around, then stormed inside, leaving his mother gaping at his behavior.
What a spoiled brat, I thought he'd be respectful since he's a cutie, but I guessed wrong.
His mother turned back to me with an apologetic smile.
"Please excuse my boy's manner, I really do apologize"
I wave her off with a small smile.
"It's no problem at all. He's still a kid after all" I told her.
She nodded.
"Thanks for your understanding" she said.
"So, I'm going to go" I told her.
"Ok, until next time"
I just smiled, and walked away.
★★★
I reach a cross road.
This is one of the busiest roads in our country, I get scared most times when I want to cross this road because I might get knocked down if I'm not watchful enough.
The place where I do my singing and dancing is right across the road, so no matter how scared I am, I have no choice but to cross.
Just when we were about crossing, I saw an old woman who's finding it hard to cross. I walked over to her and took her hand.
"Good afternoon, granny" I greeted her politely.
"Good afternoon, my dear" she replied.
I quickly checked out her clothes, and realized she didn't look like a poor woman because she's dressed in simple, yet expensive clothes and jewelries.
I smile, this is my only wish, I wish my aunt can dress like this one day.
"Granny, do you want to cross to the other side?" I asked her.
" Yes, can you please help me?"
"Sure" I answered, and her eyes shone in appreciation.
I watched the road, when I noticed it wasn't as rushed as before, I gently pulled her with me, until we were safely on the other side.
"Thanks my dear" she thanked me.
"Don't thank me, granny. It's something I have to do" I replied.
She smiles and pats me on my back gently.
Just then, a Lamborghini stops in front of us. The driver stepped out, and approached us.
I stared at the car with my mouth wide open, don't tell me she owns this car.
Just how rich is this old woman exactly?
"My dear, my ride is here, I hope to see you next time" she said to me.
"If it's meant to be" I simply replied.
Then she entered the car. Just when the car was about to drive away, I saw her purse on the ground.
I picked it up and rushed towards the car, I tapped the window and she winds down.
"What is it, dear?"
I raised the purse.
"Your purse fell down" I said.
"Oh, thanks. You are a good girl, may God bless you" she said and the driver drives off.
I sigh and walk to my spot. Then I start my singing and dancing.
★★★
It wasn't long, and a large crowd had already gathered around me, some were clapping theirs hands, some singing along with me, and others were standing silently and listening to me.
After I finish my performance, they begin to put money in my cap, which I had put on the ground in front of me earlier. Soon they were all gone, I bent down and picked my cap and money.
I straightened up, and just when I was about turning around to go sit on a small bench at a corner, I collided with someone and we both fell to the ground.
Fear gripped me, and I closed my eyes while falling down, hoping I'd kiss the ground, but fortunately for me and unfortunately for him, I fell on him instead.
When I opened my eyes, I couldn't help or do anything to hide the smile that spread on my face because I realized a Greek god was staring right at me. His gray eyes stared into mine, his pink kissable lips parted slightly, and a smirk played on his face.
It seemed like my hands suddenly had a mind of their own and I couldn't control them, I found myself reaching for his face and caressing his very smooth cheeks -it's very smooth that I was tempted to take a bite, but I refrained myself.
"Miss, are you ok?" He asked in his deep, but smooth velvet voice.
Prince Harry's POV
>>James Brown's international airport<<
I spread my arms very wide, like a caged bird that's finally been set free, and I inhaled deeply, breathing Peoria's fresh air. I smiled in appreciation and muttered.
"Peoria, I'm finally back!"
Yes, I'm finally back to my home country, I've been abroad for many years and honestly, been away for such a long time was such a torture.
My self-welcoming party was short lived when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned and realized it's Mark, my personal bodyguard.
Mark has been with me since childhood, he goes everywhere with me and he'd trade his life for mine without any hesitations, but I don't see him as a mere bodyguard, he is more like a brother to me.
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Your highness, I don't feel comfortable in this tuxedo, can I take it off?" He asked.
I set my lips on thin lines, and frown a little.
"First, I've told you plenty of times, don't act so formal with me, call me Harry"
He frowned slightly, he must be thinking how weird it'll sound addressing me by my name, but I ignored his expression and proceed.
"Second, you look good in this tuxedo, look how those girls are drooling over you" I points towards a group of girls.
Mark look at them and roll his eyeballs.
"Your highness, they're clearly drooling over you" he said, tugging the tuxedo.
I bite my tongue to stop myself from laughing. Mark don't like jackets or tuxedos, he's better off with a t-shirt and jean trousers.
"Don't disgrace me here, Mark. Hold your horses, when we get to the palace you'll change" I told him.
He simply nod. I looked at my wrist watch, it's already 1:50pm. My grandma ought to have been here with the car, she volunteered herself to come pick me up.
"Why isn't grandma here yet?" I grumbled.
"Calm down my prince, maybe she got delayed by something"
Right at that moment, my phone started ringing. It's my grandma, I quickly slide right and brought it closer to my ear.
"Grandma" I called her in a whiny voice. "Good afternoon, mama" I greeted her.
I wouldn't dare forget to greet her, or she'd have my head, because she loves anyone that's respectful.
"Harry, my boy. I'm sorry I can't pick you up, so I'm afraid you'll have to take a cab" she said.
I furrowed my eyebrows in annoyance, but quickly remembered she can't see me.
"Grandma, you just broke my heart"
She laughed.
"Don't be so dramatic, catch a cab and get your butts back home" she ordered.
"Alright, alright. I'll do that" I said and hang up.
I nod at Mark that we should start moving. Mark carried my luggage and we headed towards a cab. I was about talking with the cab driver, when I suddenly saw a bullet coming right at me.
Mark was very fast, he pushed me out of the way and we both fell face flat. The bullet flew above our heads, which made me wonder who's playing with real gun in an airport.
The bullet hit an old woman, and she fell down and died instantly. Mark tapped my shoulder to get my attention.
"Your highness, we need to get out of here immediately. You are the target and besides we can't fight back here, too many innocent people will suffer" he told me.
I nodded my head. I snatched my luggage from him, pushed it aside and abandon it there.
"Let's go" I said.
Mark led the way as we rab towards the exit of the airport. I turned around and see three men in suits running after us, I they are the men who just shot that gun.
But I just came back to the country, who'd want me dead?.
After running for some time, Mark and I managed to create a large distance between us, we could barely see the men. We ran into a dark alley, from there we saw the men run past in great speed, as though they're athletes running to win a championship.
"Your highness, I think we need a disguise or we'll be caught" Mark said.
"You're right" I replied.
We stepped out of the alley and see a boutique right in front of us. We quickly run into it, and as luck was on our side, it's a men's boutique.
Mark and I quickly pick out some clothes, dashed into the nearest changing room and changed into them.
Mine is a white pair of trousers and a white T-shirt, then I put on a white base cap to compliment it.
I looked down at my feet and notice I'm still on my oxfords, which is very odd in my current outfit. I located the shoe session and quickly changed my oxfords to a pair of white sneakers.
Then I headed to the cashier and paid for everything, the Mark and I stepped out.
"Your highness, should we take a cab?"
I shake my head.
"No, let's stroll for a while" I answered.
We began strolling, and I must say I'm very proud with how much Peoria has developed throughout the past years.
Just then we came to a main road, the road was very busy, but I can't say it's the busiest roads I've ever seen. Right across the road I see people gather around something, I couldn't see it clearly from here, so I become curious as to what is happening there.
"Mark, let's go over there"
"But your highness, your grandma is waiting for you" he said.
"Let her wait for a while, we won't spend much time there" I told him.
"B-but.. but... "
"Come on, don't be a killjoy" I said, and pulled him along.
We cross to the other side and we moved closer to the crowd. There, I saw a girl singing and dancing, her back is facing me. But the voice I'm hearing sounds so melodious, it's as if an angel is singing.
Then she turned around and WOW!!
Beauty isn't word enough to describe her magnificent looks. She's gorgeous even in her pauper clothes. I'm mesmerized by her beauty, and for the first time in forever, my heart skip a bit.
I felt a strong urge pushing me towards her, to grab and hold her into my arms. An unconscious smile crept in my face at my desire, but I decided against it because doing so would make me seem like a psychopath.
Mark nudged my shoulder gently, his nudge pulled me back to reality, and I look around and noticed that people have gone.
I saw her bending over to pick up something, I stepped forward and wait for her to stand up. But when she stood up and turned around, she collide into me and we both find ourselves on the ground -she fell on me.
I groaned as my back hit the ground, but she didn't make any reaction and was only looking at my face with her mouth slightly mouth open.
My eyes move to her lips, they look so soft and alluring, I felt like crashing mine on hers, to find out if her lips are actually as soft as they look.
She suddenly reached out and touch my cheek, I smiled. Her tiny hands squeezed my face softly, and she giggled as though she's enjoying doing it.
I really love our position like this.
Then it click on my head, that she might have break something.
"Miss, are you ok?" I asked her.
She looked down and seem to notice our current position, her cheeks turned red immediately. Then she quickly stands up, and offered to help me up, but Mark helped me instead.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to crash into you. You know, my aunt always scold me for my clumsiness, but it's not my fault right? Sometimes I do things before knowing what I'm actually doing. Ok, I'm talking too much now" she blabbed.
I laughed at her cuteness while she was blabbing, and trying to explain and apologize at the same time.
Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment when she realized she's said so much in one breath.
Her eyes shifted to my clothes, then she reached out and started wiping off a stain on my shirt.
"Oh no! I've cause your clothes to get stained" she complained as she continued wiping the stain.
I've caused your clothes to get stained? Whoa, her use of English is just one of its kind.
I saw Mark take a step forward to stop her, but I used the eye language with him and he stepped back.
The stain doesn't get off, rather it kept getting worse, which made her huffed frustratingly and pouted her lips grumpily. I bite my inner cheek to stop myself from bursting into laughter, because her expression is very funny right now.
I held her hand, and stopped her from wiping further.
"Don't stress yourself. It's not that bad" I told her.
But it's obvious I'm was just trying to console her, because even a blind man will know how bad the stain is.
"No it's bad. If you could come with me, I'll wash it off and give your shirt back to you" she said.
Come with her? To her home? Hmm, I would really love to follow her, and know where she lives, but that can't happen because I need to get home right away.
"Don't worry about it, Miss" I told her.
She stared at my face for a moment, I guess she's trying to figure out if I'm mad at her or not.
She let out a sigh, and nodded sadly.
"Thanks" she muttered.
"You sang beautifully just now"
She blushed.
"Oh, that? I was just doing my best"
Her brows furrowed as she did a double take at me.
"Is this your first time watching me sing? Cause I haven't seen your face here before" she said.
"Yeah, it's my first time. I was actually just passing by and I saw a crowd here, so I stopped to a look"
She smiled.
"Well, I perform here everyday, you can come tomorrow and watch me" she twisted her lips. "That's if you like" she added.
I thought about it, and I smile. I really don't know if this is what people call 'love at first sight', but I swear I felt so damn happy while I was talking with her.
And I'm even happier now that I know I'll get to see her again tomorrow.
"Ok! I'll be here" I told her.
She raised her head slightly, and looked at the clouds.
"Shoot! I have to go now, my aunt is waiting for me!" she exclaimed calmly.
She turned to leave, but stopped abruptly as if she's suddenly remembered something.
"Hey, did you forget to tip me?" she pouted a little bit.
Damn! I swear her pouty lips are doing something dangerous to me.
I laughed, but took out my wallet and dipped my hand in.
"Close your eyes first" I told her.
She narrowed her eyes at me.
"Are you trying to cheat me?" She asked.
"No. I just feel shy at the amount I wanna put in"
"Oh, I see" then she closed her eyes.
I took out some notes, and put it under the other monies in her cap.
"Alright open up" I said.
She smiled.
"Thanks, I have to go. Bye!" And with that she ran off.
She's so cute and natural, just the kind of girl my grandma would want me to marry.
Wait... Marry? Why am I suddenly thinking about marriage after having conversation with her?
I faced to Mark, who had his arms crossed on his chest and looking around, I guess he's checking if there are still any threats.
"Mark, you have to chill sometimes you know"
"We were almost killed just a few minutes ago, your highness" Mark said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Catch a cab, let's go home" I said.
He nodded.
It didn't take long for him to get a cab, we entered and drive straight to the palace.
★★★
We made it to the palace in no time, Mark and I enter the palace/court to greet my father.
I was stunned by all the decorations when we entered the palace, it's as if they're holding a welcoming ceremony for me.
My father sat on his throne, my mother sat next to him, even my grandma sat in her own space and my sister sat next to grandma.
I look around for Stephano (my stepbrother) but I didn't see him anywhere, doesn't he know I'm coming back today?
Every official present in the palace stood up, with their heads bowed in respect as they acknowledged my presence.
"Welcome back, your highness!" They greeted me.
I swear I fuçking hate this.
"It's fine, thank you, it's fine" I waved them off.
"Dad, Mom" I greeted my parents, bowing in respect as custom demand.
Mark followed suit and bowed too.
My dad laughed heartily.
"Don't be so formal with us son, come over here" he called me over.
I stepped forward and lowered myself to his level since he was sitting down, and he pat my back.
"Welcome home, son" he said.
"Oh, my baby boy!" Mom exclaimed excitedly.
Baby boy? Seriously, when is mom gonna stop calling me that? Can't she see I'm a grown man already?
"It's been such a long time, come and give hug your mama" she opened her arms for me to come in.
I quickly went to her and let her wrap me with her arms, she squeezed me very tight and placed a kiss my forehead -she must have missed me so much.
"My baby boy is finally home" she muttered.
"Mom, I'm not a baby anymore" I couldn't help but grumble.
Mom glared at me, and pulled my cheek.
"Of course you are, you'll always be my baby boy" she said.
And everyone laughed at her comment.
"Alright, alright, I have to hold my grandson too" grandma whined.
I laughed, but rushed to her anyway. I crouched down in a squat and rest my head on her laps, and she patted my back.
"You are beautiful now"
"Grandma, I'm not beautiful, I'm handsome" I corrected her.
"Oh, shut up boy, you are what I say you" she said, her voice daring me to argue with her.
I stood up, and raise my hands in surrender.
"You are correct, ma'am"
My sister sprang up from her seat, and rushed to my side and grabbed my arm.
"Hey, little Gabrielle" I said and pulled her nose softly.
She giggled and pulled my ear.
"I'm not so little anymore, soon I'll have suitors coming for me" she told me.
I smiled, and ruffled her neatly combed and styled hair.
"Right"
Gabrielle and I both have one thing in common, we both hate being referred to as little boy or girl.
A tired yawn escaped my lips, and I realized how tired I actually was, so I turned back to my dad.
"Dad, I'm suffering from jet lag, can I retire to my room?"
By my room, I mean, my Mansion.
"Go on, son. You need all the rest you can get" he said.
"And I have something to discuss with you later, Harry" grandma chipped in.
I rolled my eyes, cause I already know what she wants to talk about. But I said yes anyway -I guess my eyeballs will fall out of their sockets soon.
I nodded at Mark, and we headed out.

"Why is Harry still alive?!" I roared angrily.
"Sire, I just got news that, the operation failed"
I turned and faced the idiot who reported such ridiculous news to me, and kicked him hard in the stomach.
He fell to the ground, groaning in pain and holding onto his stomach.
"How can you and your men be so incompetent! You couldn't even do a task as simple as that, do you know how much effort I spent to get my father to send him out of this country?" I roared.
I'm supposed to be the crown prince, not that stupid Harry. I'm the oldest between us, so why was he made the crown prince.
"We are sorry, sire. Give us another chance and I promise we won't fail" he begged.
But it's too late, I don't keep people like him around. I pulled out a pistol from my pocket and shot him straight in his forehead, I did the same to the remaining two idiots.
I nodded at my guards to take their useless bodies out.
"Bury them somewhere far from the palace"
"Yes, sire" they answered, and carried out their bodies through the secret passage in my room.
I know that one day, I'll bury Harry's body like these bastards.
Elena's POV
>>The Next Morning<<
Time passed by in a blur today because my performance ended earlier than any other day today.
I was counting my money when I heard someone coughed, I raised my head and realized it's the handsome gentleman from yesterday.
"Hi" he greeted me.
"Hi" I replied him with a vibrant smile.
I adjusted on my bench, and created space for him to sit down.
"You're late, I'm already done performing today" I told him.
"Yeah, I was held back by something else back home" he explained briefly.
"Hm" I hummed.
We sat in a comfortable silence as I continued counting my money, I could feel his eyes on me, but I didn't read much into it.
"So... Miss, you promised you'd make it up to me yesterday for staining my shirt, how do you intend on making it up to me?" He asked me, immediately, I was done counting.
I tilted my head slightly, and thought about it for a moment. I'm not sure what he'll like, and besides, I can't afford much, so the best I could do is take him somewhere to eat and pay for his meal.
"How about I take you to my favorite place, don't worry it's going to be my treat"
His eyes weirdly lit up when I said I'll take him to my favorite place.
"Great" he agreed readily.
I looked around, and noticed that his friend from yesterday wasn't in sight.
"Where's your friend?" I asked. "The one that came with you yesterday" I added.
"Oh, he's busy" he replied.
I nodded, and snatched his hand.
"Ok, let's go" I said as I pulled him along with me.

>>Josh's kitchen<<
From my shop (yeah, I think that's quite a suitable name for the place where I perform) to Josh's kitchen, my favorite restaurant in all of Peoria was only a five minute walk, and hence we arrived in no time.
"We are here" I said as we came to a stop at the front of the restaurant.
He blinked a few times, and furrowed his eyebrows as he looked around the restaurant and shuddered a little, although he tried very hard to hide his disgust, but I still noticed it -I guess he doesn't dine in places like this.
I laughed at his expression.
"Don't judge this place by its look"
I pulled him inside with me, but unfortunately, there was no empty table inside, so we settled at a table outside.
"This place might look shabby, but trust me on this, you will love the food they serve here" I assured him.
"Hehe" he chuckled lightly. "Ok, I'll listen to you, since you're so confident in them"
I waved a waiter over, and told him to bring my favorite, which is rice and gravy.
The waiter left to get our order, but he came back with our order in a few minutes, and placed it on our table.
"Enjoy" he said, and left.
"Ok, I pray it's as delicious as it looks" the handsome gentleman said as he stared at the food in front of him.
"I bet my life on this. It's superb" I told. "Give it a try"
He nodded and reached for his spoon, then we dug in. I watched him as he put a spoonful in his mouth with a frown, but soon closed his eyes and moaned in appreciation.
"This is the best rice and gravy I've ever had!" He testified.
I giggled at his expression.
"I told you, you'll love it" I replied boastfully.
That's how we continued eating in silence.
★★★
"So, we've been talking for some time now, and you've even brought me here to eat, which means we're kind of acquainted with each other, right?"
I nodded.
"But sadly, I still don't know your name, now can I at least have the honor of knowing who this beautiful dancer is?" he asked with a boyish grin.
I cleared my throat.
"Well, uh, there's much to know about me, but my name is Elena and I live with my aunt. I sing and dance to make money, and don't ask about my education because I'm not educated at all" I told him.
I winked at him and we both laughed briefly.
"Now it's your turn. Who are you?" I asked.
He tilted his head as if he's trying to recall his name, don't tell me I just he's suffering from short-term amnesia.
"I'm Harry and I work as a plumber, uh... I'm not educated either" he said, his ears go red as he blushed in embarrassment.
So, he isn't educated just like me, no wonder it was so easy for us to get along.
Just then, his friend from yesterday suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and whispered something in Harry's ear, which made Harry get up at once.
"Elena, I'm sorry, but I'll have to take my leave now. I hope to see you again tomorrow" he said.
I was a little confused about what's going on, and why he had to leave so suddenly, but I didn't ask him about it because it's none of my concern.
So, I simply nodded.
"No problem"
"Can I have your number?" He asked.
Oh, no. I blushed in embarrassment and lowered my head as I shook my head.
"I don't have a cell phone" I replied, and raised my head slightly to see his reaction.
He raised his eyebrows in surprise, but didn't say anything, he set his lips on thin lines and inhaled sharply.
"That's ok. I'll see you when you're performing tomorrow" he said, and left with his friend.
I puffed out some air I didn't know were hanging on my chest immediately they left, I dropped a few notes on the table and also headed home.

Unknown POV
I waited impatiently for the spy I sent to monitor Harry's wherever he goes, I'm not going to let any and every chance of getting rid of Harry slip away.
The door leading to the secret passage in my room open, and the spy walked in and bowed before me.
"Sire, Prince Harry didn't do anything special today, but he hung out with a girl" he said.
"A girl?" I asked.
"Yes sire, and they seem pretty close and from the way Prince Harry spoke with her, it seems he's interested in her"
Harry's interested in a girl? That's so foolish of him, he should know better than getting close to any girl now.
I smirked as an idea popped up in my head.
"Alright, you can go and continue with your assignment" I dismissed him.
Harry, you don't know the troubles you're about to drag this girl into.

Elena's POV
I arrived home later than usual, and I met my aunt sitting in the living and I thought I was in trouble, but relaxed when I realized she was just knitting a dress -that's what she does for a living.
"Aunt, I'm home" I announced my presence.
"Oh, you came back at the right time. Come on, join me" she invited me over.
I sighed, but quickly picked up the vacant knitting needle laying on the table, and sat next to her. I took another dress and started knitting it.
"Why are we doing this now? You know how I hate doing this" I whined.
My aunt simply smiled.
"Your parent's death anniversary is fast approaching, we need to get some fruits from the market soon" she told me calmly.
I nodded in understanding and continued knitting in silence, talking about my parents' death anniversary has always been one of the coldest topics, I don't like talking about it because it brings unpleasant memories, and nightmares for me.
"Oh, right, some people came asking about you" she said.
"Some people?" I asked in a surprise tune.
"Yes"
I frowned deeply who would come ask about me?
