Chapter 1 Coronation

White vampires - They believe in God and Goddesses and they have strong faith in them. Don't die in sunlight (although red vampires don't die too), sometimes they eat and drink blood and flesh because their main foods are the same as Humans.

Red Vampires - They don't believe in God and Goddesses, they don't have religions. Always drinking blood and eating flesh. White Vampires are calling them evil and they thought they're not eating human foods.

Humans - White vampires are afraid of them. Humans are killing other races because they're afraid of them. Red vampires don't care about them whether they die or not.

Half-Blooded Vampires - They're half humans and half-vampires (white or red).

Transform Vampires - They're humans who turned into vampires and they can die in sunlight.

THIS BOOK IS AN OMEGAVERSE STORY!!!

This story contains the omegaverse genre wherein people are divided into three types which are the omega, alpha, and beta.

ALPHA - A dominant one and can impregnate Omega and Beta. Females have p*n*s.

OMEGA - They're not dominant. Submissive usually to Alpha. Sometimes they get a pheromones/heat cycle.

RECESSIVE ALPHA - This is kinda similar to Omega. Not dominant and doesn't have p*n*s.

BETA - More like a normal one. They didn't get a pheromones/heat cycle.

PHEROMONES/HEAT CYCLE- Sometimes Omega has this and if they get a pheromones/heat cycle, Alpha always sense/smell it and comes to them. Once they met they usually have s*x.

MARKING- Alpha bites an Omega to claim them as their Omega.

KNOTTING- Alpha's p*n*s keep it locked inside their Omega during s*x to increase the chances of getting the Omega pregnant.

Yanna's POV,

"Yanna let's go, they're waiting for us." I looked at my friend outside the window.

"Wait a minute, I'll just fix my hair!" I replied as I went in front of the mirror.

I took a comb and started combing my hair. Now is the coronation day for our new King and I hope he'll change the rule of this village.

We're white vampires and here in our village alphas are treating the omegas just like how they treat animals. When you're an omega just like me, you need to hide and take medicine to avoid having a heat cycle. When an omega encounters heat cycles some random alphas will come with them and help them to release the heat, in short alphas are raping omegas. Omegas can't refuse alphas that's why they can't fight back when alphas are raping them.

Fortunately, I haven't encountered it yet and I hope that won't happen to me. Whenever I'm in heat my parents will lock me up inside a room and give me some medicine, food, clothes, and drinks. They won't let any alphas enter our home.

I have alpha friends and they're not bad as others, they're treating omegas nicely. But not all omegas are believing them.

"Yes finally done!" I cheered out. I was about to go but my eyes suddenly landed on the picture frame on the table. My face lit up as I saw the most important picture to me. I went to it and handled the picture frame.

"Where are you now, Kishi? I miss you so much," I whispered while looking at our picture on the picture frame. She's standing and wearing a simple polo and jeans here while she's carrying me on her back. She's also a white vampire like me but she went on an important mission and hasn't come back yet.

"It's been five months Kishi, are you still on your mission?" I asked myself while looking at her face.

To be honest, she's my first love and we already exchanged a kiss but we haven't labeled our relationship yet because she's a very busy person.

We met in the falls back then and I introduced her to my parents. At first, my parents didn't want me to be friends with her because she's an alpha and she might rape me or put me in danger but I told them that Kishi isn't that type of person. My parents weren't satisfied so they observe Kishi's behavior but she proved herself to my parents and fortunately, they approved Kishi as my friend.

"Yanna!" I immediately put the picture frame on the table as I hurriedly went downstairs.

"Shoot I forgot Sheena!" I muttered. "Mom! Dad! I'll go now!" I shouted without even looking at them.

"Take care!" I heard my mom's voice but I didn't bother to look back.

I arrived outside and I went to Sheena who was raising her brows at me. "You're so slow, what did you do?" she asked while I'm catching my breath.

"I'm so sorry, I just fixed my hair," I apologize and she just rolled her eyes.

"Let's go or we might not make it in time," she uttered and we started walking.

"The coronation will start at 9 in the morning right?"

"Yes."

"But it's still 8:05, so we still have a lot of time." I shrugged my shoulder.

"I know but I want to meet Cyrel now," she uttered which made me chuckle. Cyrel is her girlfriend and she's an alpha.

"By the way Yanna, I want to tell you something important I've heard from guards and merchants," she whispered which made me look at her.

"What is it?" I asked full of curiosity.

"They said they saw two red vampires wearing black cloaks enter our village." She whispered again while looking back and forth to check if someone is looking at us.

"For real? Then what happened next?" I asked. White vampires and Red vampires are born to fight each other. That's why when a red vampire entered our village, white vampires are immediately gathering to protect each other. Red vampires are evil, they'll kill plenty of vampires and humans just for their greed. They're evil, they don't care about other races as long as they can satisfy their needs.

"White vampire guards gathered to protect other vampires of course but they got surprised when the two red vampires didn't harm any white vampires. They just continue to walk around the village," she explained.

"That's unexpected! Knowing them, they don't have mercy!" I said angrily. Red vampires killed my grandpa that's why I'm so frustrated whenever I'm hearing news about them.

"The guards were confused too and they don't know where the two red vampires are heading," she whispered again.

"Did they see the red vampires' faces?" I asked again.

"Why are you asking that? Of course, they didn't because red vampires are always wearing a mask," she said which made me nod.

"I just want to know their faces, so if I become stronger I'll kill them all even their evil King!" I angrily said as I ball my fist.

"That's impossible Yanna! And Kishi will protect you from them don't worry." She tapped my back as she chuckles.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"I said Kishi will protect you don't worry hahahaha!" She laughed which made me pout.

"But she's not here yet," I murmured but she heard me.

"It's been five months no? Don't worry she'll come back. And she's with Jason so I'm sure they'll come back," she assured me which made me smile.

Jason is a white vampire and an alpha too. He's very close with Kishi and they even live under one roof. Jason is my friend's boyfriend, we introduced them to each other that's why they got into each other.

We're four in our group of friends and I'm the only one who doesn't have a partner. How unfortunate right? But I don't care, Kishi will become my girlfriend soon.

"I hope so," I replied.

We arrived at the place where the coronation will begin. We saw our friends and we immediately went to them.

"What took you so long?" I heard Cyrel ask Sheena.

"What important is we're here now," Sheena replied which made us laugh.

"Hi, Yanna!" Jackson greeted me and I smile at him.

"Hello, Jack!" I greeted back. He is Rain's boyfriend and Rain is my friend that's why I'm close to him.

"Okay hope all have partners!" Angelo rolled his eyes which made me chuckle. He is Jason's boyfriend.

"Don't worry, Jason will come back here hahaha!" Jackson laughed.

"It's been five months and I think he already has a new boyfriend." Angelo crossed his arms.

"Don't overthink like that, Jason is loyal to you," Cyrel assured him.

"How can you be so sure huh?" Angelo said irritated.

"Well, my instincts told me to." Cyrel shrugged her shoulder which made us laugh.

"The new King is here now!" I heard the people shout from the back as we took our seats.

We looked at the back and we saw a car stopped in front of the red carpet. The red carpet is aligned towards the extravagant stage in front where the coronation and speech will be held.

"The new so-called king is here." I heard Jackson's voice which made me look at him. His expression became serious while he was looking straight at the car. My friends didn't notice him that's why I'm the only one looking at him.

"Are you excited Jackson?" I asked him as I look at the car.

"Yes. I want to see him now," Jackson replied.

"Me too. I hope he'll change the rule of this country." I uttered as I flashed a smile.

He didn't reply for a second which made me look at him.

"I hope too," he whispered but enough for me to hear.

"Let's hope hahaha." I chuckled.

"I'm pleasing everyone to stand up to welcome our new king," the emcee said on the mic.

We stood up and started clapping our hands when the car's door opened. A man who's about in his early 40s went outside. He's wearing a tuxedo and a royal cape on his back. A lot of cameramen were positioned beside the red carpet as they started clicking their cameras to take pictures of the new King.

He started walking towards to stage and a lot of servants follow him. He looked at the cameramen and waved his hand while smiling. He even greeted some vampires standing beside the red carpet.

"He'll be the best King for us," I said happily while looking fascinated at the new king.

"I can picture it too," Sheena agreed with me while looking at the new King too.

"Praise our new king!" A man who was about in his late 30s said and we all started clapping our hands.

"Our new king will save us from danger!"

"He'll be the perfect king for us!" A lot of people started shouting different comments.

The new King arrived at the stage and the pastor arrived too.

"Thank you, thank you!" The King uttered while waving his both hands.

The emcee gave the mic to the pastor. "Everyone I'm encouraging you to sit down and the coronation will begin now." The pastor said as we took our seats.

"That pastor is near his grave," Jackson said which made Rain slap his arm.

"What are you talking about moron? Don't you have respect huh?" Rain clenched her jaw.

"Ouch! I was just joking, baby." Jackson pouted which made us laugh.

"Joke? You think it's a joke?" Rain rolled her eyes.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry." Jackson raised her both hands in defeat.

"Jokes are supposed to be funny so don't do that again!" Rain poked Jackson's forehead.

"I know, I know," Jackson replied.

"Everyone please be quiet." The pastor said and all people stopped murmuring and talking to each other.

The pastor started the mass and all of us just listened to him quietly. Jackson and Cyrel are whispering to each other which made their girlfriends pinch their ears.

I and Angelo chuckled at what we saw. These two are funny and talkative, unlike Kishi and Jason.

Kishi is a cold type of person, she's talking less, smiling less, and laughing less. Smiling isn't her forte that's why whenever she's smiling I'm always cheering out because I can make her smile with my simple jokes.

I miss her already, when will she come back? She promised me that the two of us will date on the riverbank but she hasn't come back yet.

"The mass is boring, why don't they start the coronation?" Jackson snorted.

"Having mass is a must whenever there's a coronation," Angelo said and we nodded.

"For what?" Jackson asked.

"For giving blessings to the next King so he'll rule the country properly," Rain replied without looking at him.

"Did they hold a mass when the late king became the king?" Jackson asked.

"Yes, every coronation." Rain replied.

"But did the late king rule our country properly?" Jackson asked which made us lower our heads.

"No right? He didn't. To be honest he was the reason why some alphas are acting high profiles." Jackson smirked as he shook his head. "What I'm pointing out is, this mass is useless. He snorted.

"You have a point but we can't do anything to stop the mass so let's just listen." I looked at him as I flashed a smile.

"She's right, Jackson. Let's just listen and watch the coronation after." Cyrel said as she tapped Jackson's shoulder.

"Well okay but you can't force me to believe in Gods or Goddesses." Jackson blurted out.

"No one is forcing you," Rain said irritated.

After an hour the coronation began by passing the crown to the next king. Since the late king died because of an accident the pastor is the one who put the crown on the new King's head.

The King stood up and turned around to face. The crowd started clapping their hands while the others are shouting his name and cheered for him.

The King went to the mic and started uttering his speech. "Hello everyone I'm Marco Eves the new King of this country. Starting today I'll be the one who will rule this country and everyone should obey me without complaining." He said on the mic.

"Make this the best country among all the races!"

"Give us equality!"

"Be a good leader for us!" Some of these are from different people.

"I've seen the inequality of this country so starting today I'll announce the most important rule all over this country." He stopped and look at us. "The new rule that y'all should obey is alphas shouldn't take leads in everything." He shouted on the mic.

"Finally!"

"We can now live in peace!"

"Thank you, your highness!"

"I can now fight back with them!" The crowd started clapping their hands.

"I told you, Jack, he's the perfect king for us!" I slapped his arm lightly and he smiled.

"You're right." He said without looking at me.

"Alphas should know how to respect other genders, especially the omegas. I'm adding this new rule because the late king doesn't care about omegas' reputation! So as your new king, I'm responsible for every people in this country. The punishment that will be imposed on those people who will disobey my rules is the death penalty. Are you okay with that?"

"It's fine!"

"Rapists should leave this world!"

"Rapists deserve to die!"

"This rule isn't just applicable to alphas, it applies to betas and omegas as well. You shouldn't take any leads from other people, don't force them if they don't want to, you heard it right?!" He shouted again and all of us answered 'yes'.

"Finally we omegas can live with ease," Angelo said as he lean his back on the backrest.

"But we should still be careful since there's still a lot of bad guys," I warned him.

"That's right. It doesn't mean the king announced the new rules, all people will follow him. There are still people who don't agree with him." Cyrel uttered which made us nod.

"Look at those thugs. They're probably disagreeing with the new king." Cyrel pointed to the group of guys at the back.

"Yuck, they're alphas with bad smells," Angelo said while covering his nose which made me laugh.

"How did you know, when you're not near them?" I asked while laughing.

"Well, you can smell it just by looking at them." Angelo chuckled.

"How bad." Sheena laughed.

"I'm just saying the truth duh!" Angelo said as we look back again at the stage.

The new king is still discussing his plans and his new rules for this country. Plenty of people are agreeing with him including us but some are not. They probably prepare the old rules. How evil.

"And that's all! Hope we can make this country a peaceful and the best one. Thank you." The king said while smiling as he went to his seat. All of us started clapping our hands when he was done telling us all of his plans.

The pastor went to the mic and spoke. "I'm encouraging everyone to stand up for our closing prayer." The pastor said calmly.

"Finally it's done I want to go home," Jackson said as we stood up from our seats.

"We can now play the online game!" Cyrel excitedly said while stretching her arms.

"Why don't we go to the cafe? Let's eat first?" Sheena suggested.

"Your treat?" Angelo asked.

"Of course not." Sheena glared at him.

"That's a good idea, let's eat first right guys?" I asked while looking at them.

"Okay, I'm in!" Rain raised her hand.

"Me too." Sheena and Angelo said in unison. We all looked at Cyrel and Jackson and the two of them looked at each other as they shrugged their shoulders.

"We don't have a choice so we'll go with y'all," Cyrel said and Jackson nodded.

We all looked in front when we heard the pastor. We forgot that there's a closing prayer first before we leave.

"Thank you for attending the coronation, you may now leave and enjoy your day." The pastor happily said and we all clapped our hands.

-

We arrived inside the cafeteria and we're currently eating our food. We're talking about religion since it's required for us white vampires.

We, white vampires, have faith in God because we believe that God created us. While red vampires don't believe in God because they think no one created them and they just arrived on Earth because of power.

"I'm a white vampire but I don't believe in God," Jackson uttered after he drinks his milkshake.

"Here you go again," Angelo said, sighing.

"Well if there's a God, why are people still suffering right?" Jackson uttered.

"It's a test from God. He wants us to be strong people." Rain explained which made me nod.

"That's hilarious hahahaha!" Jackson laughed.

"Well if that's what you believe then I respect your opinion." Cyrel shrugged her shoulder.

"We have different opinions so yeah." Jackson chuckled.

"Yanna you're here." We all looked at the little girl who went in front of us. She's catching her breath while her head is lowered.

"How can I help you?" I asked calmly.

"Sir Oliver wants to see you right now." The girl lifted her head.

We all looked at each other because of confusion and shrugged.

"What for?" I asked her.

"Just follow me Yanna." The girl uttered as she ran towards the exit of the cafeteria.

I stood up and looked at my friends. "I've gotta go now, I'll text y'all later." I waved my hand as I started following the girl.

"Take care!" Sheena said and I just smiled at her.

We arrived in front of the riverbank and we saw Sir Oliver and some of his guards. Sir Oliver is the most respectful police officer in this country because he has the title of 'White Heroes' meaning he's the savior of us white vampires.

"Sir Oliver, I brought Yanna." The girl said and Sir Oliver looked at us. His guards bowed their heads and left.

"You called me Sir?" I asked him and he nodded.

"I know this is sudden but this is very urgent." He handed me a picture and I looked at it. It's a picture of a female red vampire wearing a cloak and mask and killing a lot of people of different races.

"Since Cyrel and Jackson just arrived from their mission, you're the only one who has the potential to stop that girl." Sir Oliver said.

"What do you want me to do sir?" I asked as I looked at him.

"Stop that woman from killing the duchess's daughter." Sir Oliver said which made me furrow my brows.

"Wait how did you know that this woman is planning to kill the duchess's daughter?" I asked.

"Because that woman send a death threat to the house of Corista and she told them that she'll kill their daughter that is now in the country of human being," he explained which made me feel nervous. Human country is the most dangerous one. Once they saw other races even though you protect them, they'll kill you.

"Yanna I'm counting on you!" Sir Oliver said seriously.

I straightened my body as I spoke. "Yes sir!"

"Then I'll tell you the other details, follow me," Sir Oliver uttered as we walked towards the Police Station.

Chapter 2 Mask Woman

Yanna's POV,

We went inside Sir Oliver's office and continue talking about the mission.

"Sir, do you have the picture of the Duchess's daughter?" I asked when he was done explaining everything. "I don't know her face, so giving me a picture is the best way to do to protect her."

"Yes, I have." He took a picture from the desk cabinet and handed it to me.

I took the picture and looked at it. "Thank you," I replied.

"The party in human country will begin at 7:00 pm later, so make sure you will make it in time. And also," he said as he stared at me, "Be careful, both in humans and that red vampire."

I bowed my head and said, "I know sir. Don't worry about me, I can do it." I flashed a smile with full determination.

He nodded and said, "That's my student! Then you may go now," he uttered.

I waved my hand. "Excuse me, sir," I uttered before I left his office.

As soon as I closed the door, I started to walk through the busy alley where lots of food stalls are positioned. I touched my chin, thinking about what should I do later. This will be my first solo mission and it's different from my other missions.

Fighting against red vampires isn't new to us but fighting it by myself makes me feel anxious. I hope I can defeat the red vampire later. This is the best opportunity too to show off my talent!

-

"Thank you, dad!" I waved my hand as I hop onto the train.

"Take care!" My parents waved their hands as the door closed.

Frantically, I took my seat, fixing my navy blue cloak. I peer at the glass window, seeing the sunset outside. It's already 5:30 pm. I miss watching the sunset with Kishi but she's still away from the village. When will you come back, my love?

I just sighed, averting my gaze from the sunset. It will take an hour to trip, so I'll arrive there at the time of 6:30 pm.

There's only one country that contains the human race and that is Tabon city.

Once I arrive there, Sir Oliver told me to keep my distance from them. He told me to watch the princess from afar, 'cause humans will be suspicious of me once they saw my appearance, especially my hair. But watching the princess from afar will be my biggest disadvantage. The enemy could attack her without me noticing since Tabon City is crowded by humans. So upon thinking about what should I do, I came up with the idea to wear a dark wig to hide my white hair and a black contact lens to hide my blue eyes.

The party will begin at 7 pm at Naga Hall. I don't know where it is but Sir Oliver showed me how it looks. It has a large purple signboard, where the name of the hall was written.

The train stopped, indicating that we were already at the Tabon station. Many people stood up from their seats, including me as we head to the door.

The sun has already set when I reached the ground outside. I looked at the sky, seeing the glowering stars.

"Whooo!" I sighed, proceeding outside the station.

Tabon city is far more advanced than our village. They already have a lot of automatic devices unlike ours.

"Let's go to the party!"

"The party will begin after thirty minutes, so let's go!"

I heard some of the teenagers shout. They looked so excited while talking about the party. It's probably the party at Naga Hall.

I veer in my direction, following the four teenagers I just heard a while ago. The two of them who are the ones who shouted are wearing complete denim attire. The other two are wearing plain white shirts and black caps while the other one is wearing a plain black t-shirt. They seem to have the same age as me.

They crossed the street when the street lights turned red. I followed them and reached the other side of the street.

"Is it weird but I think someone is following us?" The girl who's wearing a denim jacket asked.

My eyes widened as I immediately searched for a place to hide. They shouldn't find me or else it will become worse. I put down my hood, hiding behind the thick electric post.

"It's giving me shiver," the other girl said.

"Stop overthinking. Do you see? There's no one following us," the guy said.

"Can we walk faster?" The girl asked.

"Of course! Since it's only 20 minutes before the party," the guy answered, before I heard their footsteps slowly moving away from my position.

I sighed. That was close.

I remove my hood as I peer at them. Fortunately, they are already 4 meters away from me. Now, this is my chance to follow them.

Frantically, I started to walk towards them, looking around my surroundings so people won't think of me as an outsider - but I am.

When they turned left, I saw the signboard where the Naga Hall was carved onto. This is the place!

I was about to line up but a guard is checking for an invitation card. What a nuisance. Sir Oliver didn't tell me that invitation is a must. Argh, whatever! I need to do something to enter without passing the guard.

"We don't have an invitation card, what are we going to do?" The guy asked the other guy. They are the group of a teenager that I followed.

So they don't have an invitation too huh? But why did they come here in the first place? Psh stop thinking about that nonsense Yanna and just focus on your mission! I shall watch them to know what will they do to enter.

"Let's take the entrance behind the hall. There's a thin wooden gate there, I'm sure we can use that to enter," the guy who was wearing a black cap answered.

"You're right! Let's go there!" The girl who's wearing a denim jacket and red crop top inside agreed.

I followed them from afar until they reached the wooden gate. The guy wearing a black cap break the gate and they quickly ran inside. Once I'm sure they are already inside, I emerged from the dark and went inside the hall.

Crowded people welcomed me inside. There are a lot of tables around the place. Some people are dancing, eating, drinking, gossiping, and laughing with each other.

So where should I start to search for the duchess's daughter or should I say the princess?

"Miss, where are you going?" I looked at the man who hold my wrist. He's wearing a black shade and a black blazer. He's indeed drunk I knew it.

I shoved his hand away. "O-oh I just want to roam around."

"Why don't you drink with me?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

This guy is giving me shivers.

"Sorry but I need to find someone-"

He snatched my arm again, making me face his disgusting face for once. "Come on miss, it's only for today."

Pheromones started to come out from his body. So he is an alpha. I need to get away before it gets worse.

"Sorry, mister but I need to go." I shoved his hand again. He was about to pull me again but a guy who was wearing a black cap blocked his hand. He's the guy before.

"It's rude to force someone, sir. If they don't want to come, then don't," he said, glancing at me and the shady guy.

"Haah! Youngsters are annoying!" He shoved the guy's hand before he glanced at me. "I'll find someone else who's better than you!"

"Then go!" The guy nonchalantly said but anger could trace on his face.

Wordlessly, the rude guy turned his back on us and started to walk away. I should be the one to become mad but he seems madder than me.

"Sorry about that, miss. Those kinds of alphas are scattered around this village." He turned around to face me, removing his black cap.

"Don't worry, it's fine. I'm used to it." I smiled forcefully. Those kinds of alphas are scattered around our village too. They thought they are cool for doing that but in reality, they are just de lulu who wants to have sex slaves.

"Coming here while wearing a cloak means you're from another race," he whispered, staring directly into my eyes.

My eyes widened in surprise as I ball my right fist. How did he know? Is it too obvious? No. He's just probably bluffing me.

He looked around the place. Perhaps looking for his three friends. And when he's sure about something I don't know, he nods his head and turned to me at once. "Don't worry my friends aren't with me. You can tell me the truth."

I was right. He was looking for his friends.

He slightly flipped his hair, making me see the color white under his dark hair. "I'm a half-blooded vampire. My father is human while my mother was a white vampire."

So he's wearing a wig too the same as me. "But what's the reason for telling me this?"

"You're here to do a mission, don't you? I felt your presence earlier and I purposely didn't mind you knowing your intention. And it turns out you're heading for this hall too." He looked around the place.

"Yes, I'm here to do a mission. But I don't need to tell you the whole details about it. You've been living here for almost I don't know how many years, but I'm sure humans already influence you. I'm not a dumb half-blood. I'm one hundred percent sure that once I trust you, you'll surrender me to the police," said I, trying my best to sound threatening to make him leave me alone.

He chuckled, scratching his nape. "My mother got killed by humans." He smirked. "So why would I surrender you? Perhaps helping you with your mission will make me understand why white vampires are so kind to other races."

"Sorry for your loss. But if your mom got killed why are you still staying with her-" I stopped from blurting nonsense. "Sorry I got carried away. I shouldn't ask that kind of question."

"No, it's fine. I'm staying here for my father of course."

"I see." I looked around the place, searching for the princess. Where is she? I should've found her now.

"Judging from your movement, you're probably searching for someone," he muttered.

"I don't fully trust you but do you know her?" I showed him the picture of the princess. I know it's wrong to trust someone easily but I need to hurry now before the enemy makes a move.

"The white vampire west duchess's daughter Alina. Yes, I know her," he answered, nodding his head.

"You're living here but how did you know that she's from our race?" I asked, putting back the picture inside my pocket.

"Simple. I was the one who helped her when she went here to Tabon city." He crossed his arms.

I was about to ask another question but a flash of very fast lightning ran 4 meters away behind me. I quickly looked behind to see what is it but the surroundings seem to be calm. They didn't notice it.

"A red vampire." The guy beside me glared, clenching his jaw.

"This is bad!" I panic. "Where's Princess Alina right now?"

"She's probably enjoying herself on the second floor since the main party is there-"

Upon hearing his answer, I didn't waste my time and hurriedly ran to the second floor. I should get there before the red vampire!

Once my feet touched the floor, fascinating decorations greet me. There's no such ruckus around and all people are enjoying their selves.

I looked at the wall clock beside the hall post. 2 minutes before 7 pm and the party will begin.

It seems the red vampire haven't made their move and just went here to watch the princess. Speaking of the princess, where is she now?

"I'm glad you ran like a human, not like a vampire, or else I wouldn't get here faster." He bent down to his knees, catching his breath.

"You again?" I hissed.

"My name is Ashton not you," he muttered, knitting his eyebrows.

I want to hiss at him again but I chose not to. I forgot that I'm a kind person.

"Thank you for coming to the Naga Hall everyone!" The emcee shouted through his throat on the mic.

"The real party will start." He looked at me. "Let's find Alina, she's just here." He leads the way towards the billiard board and there we saw Princess Alina talking with someone else.

"Wait Ashton," I stopped walking. "She shouldn't know about me."

"Oh, I understand. Then keep your distance away. I'll be by her side to prevent the red vampire from coming at her," he uttered, proceeding to the place where Princess Alina is currently standing.

"Wait, Ashton!" I grabbed his shoulder which made him face me.

"What is it?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't do something stupid. Remember I don't fully trust you," I said, narrowing my eyes. I shouldn't have told him that I'm on my mission but it's too late now.

"Roger that!" He salute, curving a smile before he went to Princess Alina.

Am I imagining things or that guy is weird? Look he was serious earlier but just now he acted so happily. Haah never minds I shall focus on my mission.

"Tonight we will celebrate the promotion of my students being blah blah blah!"

If y'all are wondering what the emcee said, I don't know too. I didn't bother to listen more and went to a place where there were only a few people around. This will be the best place to watch Princess Alina. But doing this is enough? But if I approach her and tell her that the Duchess is pleasing her to come home she will probably run away just like what Sir Oliver said.

Princess Alina and the west Duchess had a misunderstanding back then before Alina went out of the village. Whatever the reason for their misunderstanding none of us know about that. And asking what is it could invade their privacy.

Gingerly, I watched Ashton and Alina talked to each other. The other guy I saw earlier went somewhere else. I'm wondering what's their relationship with each other but I'm not that privacy invader to ask. Alina probably trusts him knowing that he has the blood of a white vampire flowing in his veins.

"Let the party begin!" The emcee once said before the people started to make noise.

Once I turn to Ashton, Alina isn't with him anymore which made my eyes widen. Frantically, I proceed to his place. I just glanced at the emcee but Alina already disappeared from my sight.

"Where is she?" I asked when I got beside him.

"Oh, she went to the bathroom." He pointed to the bathroom 6 meters away from our place.

"Why did you let her go alone?!" I hissed, glancing at the comfort room.

"Look I'm a beta man so why would I go there? And don't worry she'll come- here she is, go, now hide!" He pushed me to my hiding place and told me to trust him though I didn't fully trust him.

"Sorry for waiting I just wash my hand. Oh, I thought there was someone with you?" Alina asked, looking around to see me. Fortunately, I got back to my place where I was.

The music turned from pop to a romantic genre. All couples are starting to go to the dance floor where the roses are scattered around the floor.

"N-no, there's no one with me. Anyways, do you want to dance?" Ashton knelt using his left knee, offering his right hand to Alina.

"Oh sure." Alina didn't hesitate to take his hand.

Ashton smiled as he stood up. They started to walk towards the dance floor but before they arrive there, he glanced at me first and nodded. I nodded too before he averted his gaze.

They started to dance, feeling the soothing music. All couples in front seem to enjoy their selves. Well, of course, they will enjoy it.

People are enjoying their time together with the soothing romantic music not until a scream echoed around the second floor.

Frantically, I search where the scream came from and saw a lady lying on the ground. She's still alive but the right side of her face is already broken. Blood trickled from her head as she tried to crawl toward the crowded place.

All of them started to panic upon seeing the woman. They scream and called for help.

"This is bad!" I ran towards Ashton and Alina who was being pushed by the people. Please I need to go there!

Nervously, my heart seems to stop beating. My whole body is trembling. My palms and face are sweating. My feet froze in my position upon hearing their fast footsteps from them. The enemy is already here! They purposely wait for the right time when there are a lot of people.

I started to panic but I still tried my best to look around. Where is it? Where are they going to emerge?

"Found it!" I drew my sword, approximately hitting the enemy but she was too fast and got away from me.

The wind she created slapped my face hardly. I swallowed a lump. She's not ordinary. She's a threat.

I looked behind my back. My eyes widen in surprise when Ashton is already lying on the ground unconscious. While Alina is being hoisted up while the enemy is holding her neck aggressively.

The red female vampire is wearing a black mask, paired with a black cloak. I didn't anticipate that my enemy would be a female.

"Put her down!" I shouted, walking towards them. "I'll kill you if you do something bad to her."

"What a nuisance." Her voice is deep enough for me to feel nervous. Get it together Yanna! You need to succeed in this mission!

"Then your wish is my command." She threw Alina away, making the latter get hit by the bumpy wall. "I only need this one. I'll go now." She showed me a glowering necklace before she ran away like a lightning.

I put my sword inside and went to Alina to help her. "Are you okay?" I wrapped her arm on my nape, supporting her to stand up.

"What are you doing?" she asked nonchalantly, but anger drew on her face.

"What do you mean?" I asked back, glancing at the humans who were now glaring at us. I'm sure they already know that we are not the same as them.

"They already know about us." She took her deepest breath as she removed her arm from me. "Let's follow that red vampire. She'll pay for this."

"But doing that is nonsense."

"But staying here longer is dangerous too, so let's go!"

Reluctantly, I followed her and ran normally like lightning until we reached the exit of the village. Unfortunately, white vampires including Sir Oliver are already scattered 7 meters away from Tabon City which made us stop and lost the chance to chase the red vampire.

"What nice timing," hissed Alina, looking disappointed at them.

"Your grace I'm sorry but we need to go back now," a butler said.

"Let's go back to our village now," Sir Oliver said, patting my head. "Nice job! You've done your mission again, Yanna."

"Thank you, sir."

Chapter 3 Kishi Yamado

"I've got the thing you want, Your Majesty." Kishi bobbed her head as she went to the king of red vampires.

"I know you could do this," he said, accepting the glistening diamond necklace. "It's been a long time since I last held this."

"I should leave now." Kishi turned her back, removing her mask as she strides towards her room.

"Kishi," said the emperor, which made Kishi stop and looked at him uninterested.

The guards beside the king started to feel nervous when the emperor's expression changed into horror.

"What is it?" asked Kishi, ignoring how terrifying the stare of the emperor.

"Don't you have respect!" The emperor yelled, slamming the right arm of his throne.

"I addressed you properly, Your Majesty. So what's the problem?" Kishi asked. Her glowering red eyes became cold while staring at the king.

"I am your father, so address me in that name!" he yelled, pointing abruptly at her daughter.

Kishi sighed as she shook her head unbelievably. "Right. I'm sorry, Father." She bobbed her head again before turning her back and proceeding to her room.

Upon reaching her room, Kishi clenched her fist as she smirks. The veins in her right arm are starting to show up on her skin. She looks so mad and disgusted while thinking about what happened just now.

"Call him father? Hahahaha! As if he acts like a real father to me. How funny." She laughed sarcastically, holding her forehead.

"That bastard got on my nerves," she muttered, wiping her face using her right hand. "If it's not for that I wouldn't come here in the first place."

Kishi throw her mask on the table and started to remove her black cloak. Looking at the mirror, Kishi noticed the small scar on her left flank. She got it from the red vampire she fought a long ago.

After removing her cloak and clothes, she grabbed her towel and was about to proceed to the bathroom but Yanna's picture placed on her table got her attention.

A smile curved on her lips involuntarily. She holds it, admiring the beauty of the woman. This picture is a gift she received from Yanna. Kishi was very happy that time and bought an expensive picture frame for this picture.

But her smile faded as soon as she remembered the woman she saw earlier in Tabon City.

"Was that you Yanna?" she asked herself, putting back the picture frame in its place. "Did your teacher Oliver assign you to a mission to stop me?"

Sighing, Kishi proceed inside the bathroom, placing her towel on the dry faucet before she went to the shower.

"They knew that my threat was only a diversion that's why they went too to the humans' village. Unfortunately, they didn't get the chance to catch me." She scratches her nape, turning the shower on.

Once the water touched her skin, Kishi started to reminisce about her past with Yanna. Waking up early. Eating together. Roaming around the village together. Laughing together. All those unforgettable memories flew smoothly inside her mind.

She lowered her head, facing the wet tiles. She opened her eyes and stares at it.

"I'll come back, Yanna. I'll promise to take you with me at the right time," she blurted out.

Yanna's POV,

As soon as we arrived at the village, I asked Sir. Oliver why did they appear in front of Tabon City?

"Ahh about that? The duchess got so worried so the team decided to follow you. Fortunately, the red vampire didn't kill the princess," he answered, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"But the red vampire got away and she even took something from Princess Alina," I said almost whispering.

"What did she get? We just see her running away from the village but didn't see what she's holding," asked Sir Oliver, putting his two hands behind him.

"She stole the diamond necklace from Princess Alina. Anyways, you did see the red vampire?" I asked back after answering his question.

He nodded. "Yes and our team tried to catch her but she's too fast so we just retreat."

"She's strong too," I murmured, lowering my gaze. I'm lucky we didn't fight each other and I'm sure I will lose if we end up doing that. But one thing I'm certain about her presence. I'm sure we saw each other back then...but I couldn't remember what time was it. I've seen a lot of red vampires in the past so I couldn't tell who is she.

"Yanna where are you going?" he asked, making me look at him and noticed that I was about to cross the street. "We need to go to the manor to report to the duchess what happened to her daughter."

"I'm sorry for spacing out." I glanced at the street before following him.

Once we reached the manor, Sir Oliver and I reported what happened in Tabon City. The Duchess was so worried about her daughter and didn't even punish her for running away from their home.

I wish my mother is just like the duchess. I'm sure she would keep nagging me if I would leave the village.

"I'm home," I muttered, removing my shoes. Dark surroundings greeted me inside, meaning my parents are already asleep. Well, I can't blame them. It's already 10 pm and time to sleep.

Frantically, I locked the door and proceed to my room. The duchess invited us to have dinner with them at the manor which Sir Oliver agreed, that's why we came home.

"I'm tired!" I whined, flopping myself on the bed.

My friends texted me earlier while having dinner. They asked me what happened to my mission and told them that I'll answer their questions once we meet each other. Because typing on the phone will take a lot of time.

"I should change my clothes - oh I forgot to close the window." I walked in front of the window 2 meters away from my bed.

Upon reaching the window glass, I saw someone walking down the street. They're wearing a black cloaks with hoods and striding to the dark place.

Are they spies?

Those black cloaks are the same as the red vampire I encountered earlier.

Perhaps they're the two red vampires that Sheena told me about earlier morning? Or maybe not?

After closing the window and about to change my clothes, I caught glimpse of hair from one of them.

"White hair?" I asked, going back to the window to check if I saw it right but they already disappeared.

"How unfortunate." I bit my lower lip and proceed in front of my closet.

Third Person's POV,

Kishi went outside her room when the bell rang. She ran towards her best friend named Cyrel. They were friends since they were young.

"Cyrel!" Kishi waved her hand, beaming, which made Cyrel see her.

"Kishi! Let's go home!" Cyrel waved back as they started to walk to the gate.

The young woman started to talk to each other about what happened in class. They have different sections that are why they can't see each other during class hours.

"Kishi, do you remember this place?" Cyrel asked when they started to cross the bridge.

"Of course I do! This place is the reason why we became best friends!" Kishi answered happily, making the two of them laugh.

"It's been 3 years since then no? We were just 4 years old back then," said Cyrel, reminiscing about their past.

"Yes. And I'm thankful to you for saving me back then," replied Kishi, watching the fish under the clear river.

Kishi was walking back then on the bridge when suddenly three white vampire alphas bullied her and removed her white hair which made them know about Kishi's real identity.

The three young boys kicked her face but Kishi didn't even try to fight back. She just kept crying, enduring all the pain.

In about two minutes, Cyrel arrived and stopped the three young boys. The bullies were confused why she was protecting the red vampire but Cyrel told them that Kishi isn't a red vampire. She told them that they know each other and they will go to a cosplaying party that's why Kishi's hair is red.

Since they were still young, the three boys believed Cyrel and apologized to Kishi. Kishi stood up from the ground, rubbing her clothes as she accepted those bullies' apologies.

After that, the three left Kishi and Cyrel alone.

"I'm still wondering why did you save me back then?" Kishi asked. Now they are already seven years old.

"Because they were bullying you," Cyrel replied, stepping out from the bridge.

"I know but I'm a red vampire why did you save me?" Kishi asked again, walking straight to their small village.

"Hmm...that's because I sensed that you're not bad," Cyrel answered, nodding her head.

"I understand now." Kishi nodded, lowering her head.

"I don't care whatever my friends' race is. For me, as long as they're not bad, they're my friends!" Cyrel wrapped her right arm around Kishi's neck.

The two looked at each other and started giggling.

"Look there, Kishi!" Cyrel pointed to the wooden stall where corn dogs are made. "Let's buy food!"

The two went to the stall and buy food. They waited for almost 15 minutes until their order arrived. The two started walking again talking about each other.

"I'll go here now," said Kishi, pointing to the road located on the left side.

"I'll go here too." Cyrel pointed to the right said road. "Take care, Kishi! Let's see each other again tomorrow!" Cyrel waved her hand cheerfully, making Kishi laugh.

"Yeah see you!" Kishi waved her left hand before turning her back and walking towards their house. Their house is located far from other villagers to avoid rumors and ruckus about them. Kishi's mother is a white vampire while her father is a red vampire.

Little did she know she'll witness something terrible.

Kishi looked at the corn dogs she bought. Her mother likes to eat that food that's why she felt excited, thinking about what will her mother's reaction.

As soon as she saw their house from afar, blood scattered around the grass. Her eyes widened in shock as she ran towards their house.

"What happened?!" she panic, tears forming in her eyes.

Five meters away from their house, she saw a white vampire lying on the ground, lifeless and bathing in her blood.

Kishi's mouth went agape as she dropped the food she bought. Her knees trembled as she walked to the lifeless woman which is her mom.

"Mom!" she shouted, caressing her mother's face. "W-what happened?!" The tears she's been holding onto started to drop from her eyes.

"Mom please wake up! Don't lie here on the grass. You said it's dirty to sit here right?" she pleaded, holding her mouth not to sob.

"You finally arrived."

Kishi wipes her tears as she lifts her head, seeing her father standing in front of their house door, holding a knife with blood with him. Blood is scattered around his clothes and as well around his body.

"F-father, don't tell me you-"

"Yes, Kishi you're right!" He laughed like a crazy man, tightening his grip on the knife. "I did it, Kishi! I killed your mother." He walked towards Kishi, making the latter back away.

"N-no! Don't come here!" Kishi shouted.

"Your mom deserves to die."

"No, she doesn't deserve to die! Why are you doing this Father?!" Kishi's voice quivered as she bit her lower lip.

"Why? That's because I don't love her anymore." He stabbed the soil in front of Kishi, using a sharp knife, making the girl flinch.

"I can't believe you did this. You're evil!"

"Yes Kishi I'm evil!" he shouted, laughing devilishly. "So now sleep!"

He reached for his daughter's neck and pressed it aggressively, making Kishi to lose her consciousness.

-

"Please stop!" Kishi yelled, catching her breath. She looked around the place and noticed that she was inside her room.

Panting, she get out of her bed and went in front of the window. "That dream again."

Mindlessly, she went towards her cabinet and took out her black cloak. She looked at the wall clock to check the hour and it was already 3 am.

"Why do I keep dreaming about my terrible past?" she asked herself, wearing the black cloak.

"This can't be helped. I need to go out to freshen myself," she murmured, striding towards the door when she was done wearing the cloak.

As soon as she opened the door, chilly air greeted her. She started to walk through the hallway and her footsteps echoed eerily. When she turned left, two red vampire beta males noticed her and bob their heads.

Kishi kept striding to the exit, ignoring the two guards. She turned left again, seeing the back exit of the castle. Wordlessly, she went to it and pressed the triangular stone, hanging beside the combination of rock and metallic door.

The sounds of the moving rock and rusty door echoed throughout the peaceful castle. The four guards that were supposed to be guarding the backyard exit, fell into a deep sleep which made Kishi to go outside smoothly.

If those four were awake, Kishi would need permission first from the King to let her go out at this hour.

As soon as her feet touched the ground outside, Kishi turn around and pressed again the triangular rock to close the door.

Once it was done, Kishi proceeds to the small pond and take her seat on the grass beside it.

Watching the fish swimming peacefully, Kishi suddenly remembered what happened to her back then when the late king of white vampires found out that her father killed the west Duchess's sister which is Kishi's mother.

Kishi closed her eyes, taking deep breaths. The late king offered her to live in the village but found out that she was a red vampire. Fortunately, that news didn't go around the village when the late king died because of an incident that no one knows about the cause of.

Kishi stayed there for ten years but after that, she decided to go where her father is currently living. Her father which is the current king of red vampires favored her to live here but on one condition. Which is to do everything that the king wanted even if she hates it or not.

"Why are you here, Your Highness?"

Kishi looked behind her back and saw Jason wearing a night robe with messy hair.

"I'm freshening up myself, Lord Jason." Kishi turned around, facing the pond again.

"Come on don't call me Lord. That's uncomfortable around friends," he whined, sitting one meter away beside Kishi.

"Then don't call me Your Highness too. It's uncomfortable since we're friends," Kishi muttered, still watching the fish.

"Alright, sorry." Jason nodded. "Kishi do you think they miss us?" he asked with an expressionless look.

"Are you talking about our friends in the village of white vampires right?" asked Kishi, glancing at Jason who was seriously looking straight somewhere.

"Of course. They are the only ones," Jason replied, sighing.

"I think...they do. I'm not sure either." Kishi grimaced, shrugging her shoulder.

"If they do, then I miss them too. What about you?" Jason asked, shifting his gaze to Kishi.

"Of course. Especially her." Kishi curved a smile involuntarily, making Jason smile halfway.

"We can visit her tomorrow if you want," said Jason, averting his gaze to Kishi. "Since we're going to report there to him." His voice became more serious, emphasizing the word 'him'.

Kishi nodded. "I know."

"Speaking of reporting, we should go there without drawing any attention from villagers." Jason stood up and picked up a stone.

"Then what should we do?" asked Kishi, her red eyes still focused on the fishes.

"We should disguise ourselves as white vampires just like what we did back then when we were still living there," answered Jason, throwing the stone into the pond.

"Hey, why did you do that?" Kishi stood up, looking concerned about the fish.

"Don't worry, I didn't hit them." Jason shrugged as he picks up another stone.

"Hey, Jason."

"Hmm?" Jason started playing with the stone by throwing it up and down on his palm.

"Do you think our plan will succeed? I mean can he defeat our enemies?" asked Kishi, still doubting their plan.

"As long as we did properly our part I'm sure we will succeed," Jason replied, curving a genuine smile. "Stop overthinking about that, we should relax and think positively."

Kishi curved a half smile. "You've been smiling since earlier, did something good happen to you?"

Jason let out a soft chuckle before answering Kishi, "I just read again Angelo's message."

"You've been reading that over and over again," Kishi hissed, curving a wince on her face.

"What's the problem? I just want to keep admiring him," said Jason, smiling ear to ear, making Kishi shake her head.

"Why don't you send a letter too to Yanna? So you two can be able to talk," Jason suggested. "Although, I'm not exchanging letters with Angelo anymore."

"I don't want."

"Why?"

"I don't want her to drag in this ruckus." Kishi sighed.

"You will not tell her about our plan just exchange letters with her," Jason said nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulder.

"Do you think she wouldn't ask if we exchange letters?" Kishi glared at Jason, making the latter shift his gaze to the pond. "Yanna would probably ask me repeatedly about that."

"You're right she's indeed persistent."

"So avoiding her is the best way to do to protect her. To prevent her from get drag with us." Kishi looked upon the clouds.

"You love her do you?" Jason shifts his gaze to Kishi, curving a teasing smile.

"Shut up." Kishi turned her back to Jason as she started to walk away.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going back now. I'm done refreshing myself." She raised her right hand and wave it.

"I see. Goodbye then!"

Kishi look behind at Jason as she curved a smile and mouthed 'thank you' before proceeding inside the castle.

Jason on the other hand mouthed 'You're welcome' before Kishi entered the castle.
