Is Moon Goddess messing up with me?

I clenched my fist as I stared at my Alpha's first born son. Surrounded by everyone in the pack and admiring his prince like figure and beauty.

Long curly blonde hair paired with his golden bright eyes. Well shaped jaw line and perfect crooked nose. He have the body of a fighter and a heart of a monk.

He is simply beautiful, probably the most beautiful man I've ever seen.

My heart was beating too fast as I stared at him from a far.

I wanted to complain, why She paired me up with someone like Austin? but I couldn't help but to feel lucky at the same time.

I'm mated with someone as beautiful as him.

Even though I'm sure he won't dare to accept me, the only omega in the pack and a male as well, half of me was still happy to know that it was him.

"Cole!" I stiffened from the sound of my Luna's voice. I quickly turned to face her just to get slapped across my face. My lower lip shivered in fear as I felt my cheek burn from the hit. "You worthless piece of trash! How dare you stare at my son with those eyes! Shame on you!" She shouted, gaining everyone's attention towards me.

Everyone started mumbling insults at me as if I did something unforgivable.

I'm just admiring my mate's beauty the way everyone does.

I just wanted to greet him for his birthday...

Is it bad?

I covered my cheek with the help of my right hand as I kept my eyes on the ground.

"I-I'm sorry my Luna..."

She glared daggers at me before stepping on my foot with the use of her 6 inch red heels. I whined in pain as soon as she turned to leave.

"That's what you get fag."

"Disgusting."

"Just go and kill yourself will you?"

"Die you curse!" The crowd chanted and I did my best not to cry in front of the villagers.

Ever since I was kid, I already know that everyone hates me. I don't even know my parents, maybe they are a part of the pack but I'm not sure. They might be ashamed to have an omega son like me.

I don't have friends or someone to talk to. I'm just a slave to the pack.

I'm worthless and even if I die, no one would remember that I exist or maybe they'll do... I mean I'm the only omega in this pack and was treated as a curse.

They'll be more surprise if they learned that I'm mated with the Alpha's first born.

I bet they'll kill me.

Ignoring the pain on my foot. I begun to walk away from the crowd.

Some turned to watch me walk like dying deer, some threw me stones as I drag myself towards my small tent near the woods.

At least I'm thankful that they gave me this tent. It's really small and smelly but I can't complain.

This is probably the kindest thing they could give for someone that they don't like.

The only thing that you would see inside is my old wooden box and a long table which I used as my bed. A single pillow and a thick cloth I used as a cover in the cold nights. A lamp, a jar and another box as my table. Few dirty, rugged clothes inside the box and a sandals I'm using since I was 15.

All these stuffs I got from the trash.

There were my only belongings and I could never be more thankful for all of this.

I whined in pain as I sit on the ground before slowly removing my sandals. I reached for a tiny cloth and wet it with the used of the water in my jar.

"Aww..." I sobbed as I cleansed the bruised on my right foot. After I made sure it's clean, I shifted to my snow white wolf to heal it up.

After a minute the bruised disappeared and the color went back on how it used to be.

I smiled proudly to myself. Nobody knows, but I could heal faster than everyone else. With a single bruised it will take them a day to heal it, burns take 3 days and open wounds takes a week to heal, but I could mend it within a day.

Awesome, right? But let's keep it a secret first or they'll think I'm some kind of a witch.

We are far from civilization and this pack is totally outdated. We're living in tents and cabins in the middle of the woods. Some packs visit us to share knowledge, but the Alpha intends to stay with our antiquated ways of living.

As if we'll survive without changes.

Sigh

I wonder if the other packs treat omegas better than this...or I was hoping.

Our pack's musicians started to create music with their flutes, drums and guitars and my ears perked up in delight. They probably started the bonfire as well.

I smiled sadly as I smelled the yummy scent of roasted meats of deer and lambs.

I wanted to be a part of it. My mate's birthday.

I don't remember the day when I realized we're mates. I don't even know my own birthday, but since I found my mate I'm probably 18 this year.

He'll know that it's me...

I should prepare myself.

They'll either kill me or throw me out...

Killing me would be better than living outside the woods. You don't know what's out there.

Maybe it's worse than being here.

But I should ready my stuffs.

I shifted back to my human form before pulling the cover and wrapping it around my naked body.

I soon opened my box and put some of my clothes inside my old rugged backpack, but before I could finish someone entered my tent without a permission.

My eyes widen in surprise as I stared at the firstborn son who was looking at me in disbelief.

I tighten my grip on the cloth around me nervously when his eyes landed on my exposed tights before glancing towards my bag.

"You're leaving?" He glared at me and I stiffened in fear.

"I-I was just..."

"You know we're mates." I shook my head immediately and he growled. "Liar."

I kept my head down in fear.

What should I do? I was ready to die b-but when he came I-I got so scared....

"P-please spare me! I didn't mean to lie, I-I'm sorry-"

"Name." He cuts me off and my heart clenched a bit.

He doesn't even know my name.

"Cole..."

"What's my name?" I looked up at him confused and he raised a brow at me.

"T-the Alpha's first b-born-"

"Name. My name." He cuts me off once again and I stared at him in discomfort.

"I-I cannot address you that way-"

"My name?" He asked once again and I swallowed hard. He seems persistent for some reason.

I bit my lower lip before parting my lips.

"Austin..."

And just by that a smile spread his lips and my heart skipped a beat when he knelt down in front of me.

He cupped my face between his warm hands and my eyes watered up from the gentleness he's giving me.

"Mate." He stared at me with full of love and right there I already know that I was accepted by my mate.

But everything is just starting...

I smiled.

My hellish life I mean.

I woke up from the sun light slipping through the window of the cabin. Ignoring how annoying it was I snuggled closer from the naked chest of my sleeping mate next to me.

I took a deep breath of his alluring scent and smiled in contentment.

My mate accepted.

For the very first time in my whole life someone actually did accepted me.

He did not hesitate at all but instead he asked for my name and brought me to his cabin. He took my clothes off and claimed me right there.

But he did not mark me yet for some reasons that I could understand.

"You awake?" His husky voice sounds so sexy in my ear. I tilted my head up and found him staring at me with a sweet smile on his face. "Good morning Cole~" He chuckled on his own singing voice and I smiled at that.

"Good morning..." I trailed off unsure if I still have the rights to call him by his name. He raised a brow at me before wrapping his arms around my waist.

"My name?" He asked again and I bit my lower lip.

He noticed.

"...Austin." I continued and he looks pleased with that.

He closed his eyes before snuggling his face on my head. I blushed a bit when his hand trailed down to my naked hips.

"You smells really nice." He hummed before lowering himself down to my neck and breathed in. I shivered from his warm breath against my skin.

"It tickles." He laughed at me before pulling away. He once again studied my face, I'm confident with my looks so I stared back at him.

I have a pale white skin, curly brown hair and dark violet eyes. I'm the only person in the pack who have this eyes so I often wonder if I really do belong to this pack.

"Austin..." He captured my lips before I could react. He hovered on the top of me as he slowly, gently moved his mouth around my closed lips.

He treats so gentle as if I'm a fragile little wolf and I love it. He makes me feel needed and loved but does he feel the same way?

I know deep inside me that I have feelings for him but does he feel it too?

"Austin, " I mumbled after he pulled away and started giving me butterfly kisses around my neck and shoulders. "What are we going to do?" I asked and he suddenly stopped.

"What do you mean?" He asked although it seems like he already know what I mean.

"Are you gonna hide me from everyone?"

I don't really care though as long as he's beside me and we are together. It's fine that nobody knows.

"I'm planning to tell the Alpha." My eyes widen in fear when he mentioned his father.

He was surprised when I sit up before facing him.

"N-no...what i-if he kills me?" I shook my head at him and his eyes widen.

"He won't, he is not like that." He pushed himself up before cupping my face gently between his hands. "Mom and Dad will not do that, they are the best parents in the pack!" I stared at him disbelief. "They love this pack Cole and you are a part of it."

Does he even know what he's saying?

"Maybe for you b-but to me they were mean..."

"Cole-"

"The Alpha always sends men to beat me up ever since I could remember w-while the Luna hurts me e-everytime she sees me-"

"Cole!" He cuts me off and my whole body stiffened in fear when I found him glaring at me. "Don't ever talk shits about my parents. They are not like that." His voice gone cold as he defended his parents, completely oblivious about the truth.

I-I wasn't lying...

They always-

"I don't know why you hate my parents so bad but don't ever repeat this, understood?" I quickly nodded in fear. My eyes watered up before biting my lower lip.

"I-I'm sorry Alpha." I scooted away immediately from him but he grabbed my hand before I could get too far.

"Austin, that's what you will call me from now on. You are my mate." He tugged my chin gently to meet my eyes. "I'll call you by your name and you will call me by mine. This is the last time I would say this, don't ever let me repeat myself once again." I nodded before a tear escaped from the corner of my eyes. He heaved a sigh before using his thumb to shed my tears away.

"Did I scare you?" He asked worriedly as he wrapped his hands on my wrists and gently pulled me back beside him.

I nodded, knowing that it'll only anger him if I lie. He embraced me tightly but I did not hug him back.

This is painful...

"I'm sorry, I don't like it when someone bad mouths those people I care and I would feel the same way when it comes to you." He slowly tilted my head up, he greeted me with a smile and my heart skipped a beat. "I would never let anybody say bad things about you." He said with full of honesty and sincerity.

I forced a smile.

He cares for me but he treasures them, those people who made me miserable.

How come he doesn't know what his parents were doing?

No, it doesn't matter anymore. He cares for me and I love him. If this how he wanted things to be then I have to support him.

"Maybe not now, but I'll tell Mom and Dad about us I'm not sure if they'll accept it but I don't want to hide anything from them." He pushed my hair on the side as I smiled. "And they won't hurt you I promised that." He smiled a genuine one and I wanted to trust him, but...

I'm pretty sure his evil parents would be furious and I have to prepare myself.

I clenched my fist.

Because Austin is someone who won't go against his parents and I'm afraid that the time will come...

When he couldn't protect me anymore.

What should I do?

I asked myself as my wolf walked beside the lake deep in the woods to catch some fish.

I haven't caught anything though...

My head is filled with Austin and it's scaring me somehow.

He's a charming guy. I always watch him walking down the village a couple of times before and the pack obviously loves him.

Now I understand why.

He is amazing. He's a good person, unlike his parents, but it looks like he wasn't aware how evil they were or maybe I don't know how good they are...

I'm the only person they treated like trash. I've never seen anyone who was mistreated just like me. So maybe they were nice, it only happened that I'm an omega, is it?

I shook my head. Why do I have to lie to myself just to agree with my mate?

They're the one who's wrong and not me-

Oh fish! The squirming creature on the ground caught my attention and I quickly ate it without hesitation. I always eat in my wolf form since I don't know how to cook and raw food is not healthy for my human form.

I can't even remember the last time I ate a cooked meal...did I even?

I licked the blood on my paws after I was done. My eyes caught another fish a few steps away and I jumped it again.

Wow, how come these fish is on the ground? Is there something wrong with the lake?

I laid on the grass after I was done eating. I actually saw and ate 7 fishes swimming on the ground beside the lake. How lucky am I today-

I stiffened when I heard the sound of breaking twigs from the woods. I quickly made my stance as if I could fight and prepared myself.

I'm not really good with fighting so...do I have to say that? I mean look at me-

I jumped in shock when a fish was thrown out from the woods. I watched the fish squirm trying to reach the lake before looking at the bushes.

Hell no!

'Austin!' I laughed when I finally caught his scent. I didn't realize it because of the stink of the fish on my nose.

My mate's blond wolf left his hidings with another fish in his mouth. He sat on the ground and waited for me to reach him.

I was smiling like a freak inside as I walked towards him.

'Why are you here?' I asked before devouring the fish on the ground.

'I visited your tent. You're not there so I searched for you.' He sounded a bit annoyed and I chuckled.

'I need to hunt early, the fish will be gone by noon and I'm not good with rabbits and deers so...' I nudged my nose on the fish's tail in his mouth before digging my fangs on it, Austin didn't let go though.

'It's not good for you to eat it raw.' He scolded me after letting me eat 8 raw fishes. I chuckled.

'I've been eating everything raw in my entire life and I'm not dead yet so it's fine.' I talked back and Austin finally let me eat the fish. I burped before looking at my mate who's staring at me, amused.

He licked the blood around my mouth and I blushed hard. I'm thankful that wolves doesn't blush, though, or I'll be turning into a wolf dyed in blood.

'Wanna dive?' He asked as he pulled away. I watched him walk towards the lake, his foot was already in the water when he turned to look at me. 'Shift.' He ordered and my jaw dropped at his request.

Oh, he want to swim in a cold water for real?

I sighed before shifting to my human form. His wolf stared at my naked self for a moment before walking deeper into the water and I followed.

I dipped my body deep into the water and ignoring how cold it was, I dived under. It wasn't that deep and there's a lot of rocks and stones so it's hard to swim.

I went up to breath and looked around to see where Austin was only to find him gone.

I sat on the side of the lake, still looking around, but he cannot be found.

Did he leave-

I jumped when a wet wolf's nose nudged my shoulder. I looked at Austin's wolf before smiling.

"Why aren't you shifting?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I left a kiss on his cheek before looking at his golden eyes. He stayed quiet and I pouted.

I thought he wanted to do it, I guess I was wrong.

"Austin-"

"Here's the lake!" I quickly turned around when I heard voices getting closer.

Oh no it'll be bad if they see me. I need to hide.

I quickly stood up.

"Austin we gotta-" I stopped when I realized that Austin was gone once again. Where did he go?

"Oh the omega!" I stiffened when four familiar males stepped out from the woods. I quickly covered my lower half before looking away.

No, not them again. I need to go.

I was about to shift when one of them grabbed my wrist. The guy named Sera towered me and I stared at him in fear.

"Did we disturb your bath?" He asked, smirking at me and I shook my head while trying to pull my hand away from him.

"P-please let go..."

I begged hoping he would listen, but he just smirked at me. Fear begun to corrupt me once again.

The villagers.

They are either violent and ignorant. Men were sent to violently beat the living soul out of me ever since I was a kid while younger males have tried something worse.

He pulled me against his chest as he ran his free hand at my lower back. I started to become pale as I shiver in fear.

No...not again. How many times have they done this? Aren't they had enough?

I pressed a hand against his chest as I shook my head at him.

"Come on it's not like its your first time." Another boy named Gust stood behind me and trapped me between them.

Words gone missing and I can't even talk or ran with my knees shaking.

Hands started to roam all over my cold, shivering body. My eyes watered up as I stood there completely powerless.

"How come your skin stays fair and beautiful all these years?" Sera asked before pressing his rough lips on the side of my face.

I let out a sob.

"A-Austin..." I called out my mate's name and Sera pulled away as he stared at me surprised.

"Whose name did you call?" He asked in shock as I begun to whip. "We better go guys-"

"Where do you think you're going?" My mate's cold voice made all of us stiffen. My legs gone numb and I fell on the ground as I stared at Austin with few hunters on his back.

"F-Firstborn...we were..."

"Ceased them and throw them all in the dungeon." He commanded using his Alpha voice to send fear to every single one of us. The hunters were dumbfounded for a moment before they began to catch the four young males.

I jumped in shock when a hunter came over me.

"Get up!" He shouted on my face. I stared at him in fear before slowly forcing myself to stand, but then he pushed me back and I fell in the water. He let out a laugh, but it didn't last as Austin grabbed his shoulder with an intention of braking it.

The older male begun to shout in pain as Austin continued torturing his shoulder.

"Why did you...." He growled at the hunter and he gasped in fear. Austin then looked at me worriedly and at that moment my tears began to fall again. "Leave." He commanded, and the rest started to disperse and disappeared into the woods leaving Austin and I alone.

"Since when?" He knelt in front of me with his arms wide open. I hesitated at first, but soon threw myself in his arms. He wrapped it against me tight.

And I felt safe once again.

"I-I don't remember...it's been years." I answered with tears flowing like a river on my face.

"So this is the reason why you hate my parents." He muttered against my neck in anger and I nodded.

The Alpha sends them to break me ever since I could remember. They are merciless and evil.

"You've been through a lot, " I nodded once again with my face on his shoulder. Now he knows the truth, we could- "But Cole they got nothing to do with this."

I quickly pulled away as I stared at him in disbelief.

"A-Austin..."

"They know nothing about this. If they have a clue then they would protect you, but it's obvious that those men were doing it behind my Father's back."

He explained his theory and I could only stare at him.

How can he not see it? Even those hunters were in shock when he protected me while his father sends them to torture me.

I let out a chuckle as I looked down on my lap. I don't care anymore. If this is what he wants then let it be...

I embraced him tightly and he hugged me back.

As long as you're with me. I don't care anymore.

"Austin." I smiled. "I'm ready, let's tell the Alpha."

As long as we could be together.

I don't care anymore if you choose to be blind.
