When Calls the Heart

Lavender's POV

All employees are busy with their respective jobs. They are the people who continue to serve the company Daddy left. I went straight to my late father's office to check out the sequence of schedules I would make. It was arranged by Miss Kim, his beautiful secretary.

It laid out on the table the folders containing the signatures and even the schedules of those I would attend. In the meantime, I adjust the things that are being put to be nice and neat. I intentionally fixed it because I was looking for something, it was Dad's perfume formula. I will not let the staff find it because it is confidential.

Miss Kim came back a second time, then she noticed my diligence. I just let her watch me do what I do. I smiled back and even winked at her. I told her not to worry because I was fine.

She finally came out of the office. I leaned back in the swivel chair. I took a deep breath then sighed. I looked up as I closed my eyes.

I wonder where Daddy wrote the formula of his perfume? How can I get the right blend without it? I got up and went to the laboratory. I went to the empty table to start making another mixture to get the smell of it.

I've used a lot of solutions but I still can't get the mixture. I was bored so I stood up, I removed the white coat. I went to the office table first, I took my bag then I went out. I hurriedly got in my car and turned it on.

I ran it fast because I wanted to snack. When I parked the car I hurried to the Coffee Shop. Coincidentally I received a message from my friend so I focused my attention on my cell phone exactly as I was inside.

Suddenly I bumped into a man. His shoulders are broad, elegant, and handsome. I apologized to the man for the collision. When he saw my face he noticed I was wearing goggles that I had forgotten to remove earlier when I left the lab. He smelled my perfume and pronounced the name of the flower used in it.

I was surprised by what he said but when I spoke he quickly said goodbye to his friend at the counter and then left the shop. I followed him but I could not reach him yet. I went back inside to continue buying snacks and coffee. After I paid I was brought to an empty table.

While having coffee I could feel the fragrant and cool breeze of the air. I miss this freshness here in the province. I've also been lost here for a long time. When I finished, I went out and left the coffee shop.

I came across a very nice farm that belonged to my Daddy. The extensive Flower Farm was to pick the different types of flowers used in making perfume. I laughed in sadness because until now I hadn't discovered my Daddy's formula. The only thing I had was the last thing he did.

I put it around my neck as a necklace just like a tube, ignored because it was just small. I'm careful because it's just my dad's weird blend. This perfume is what I want to release the smell in the laboratory to be able to release many finished products.

Daddy is deceitful, I used to be comfortable with his health but he didn't tell me what he feels.

He sent me to Boston to study there, leaving him alone while manage his business. I sighed and there I noticed that time had passed. I didn't regret the time because I relaxed my mind.

I went back to the laboratory and I was greeted by people who are diligently discovering the formula. I help but I can't smell all kinds of flowers in the exact smell of my Daddy's Atmosphere Perfumes. I will continue to search, maybe in my office. From the laboratory, I entered my Daddy's office.

I read books, researched everything I could read where Daddy wrote but still nothing until I got tired. The day ended quickly until the workers left. Miss Kim also said goodbye to me. I was the last to leave the building, I thought about taking a walk before going home.

My feet carried me to the promenade. The air is fresh which is fun to feel. I close my eyes as I lean my back on the long chair. Less than five minutes later I was leaning back when someone suddenly sneezed behind me to my surprise.

I looked at the source of the voice, I realized he was the man I met at the Coffee Shop. He didn't even look at me but sat on a bench next to where I was sitting. He sat quietly and looked away. I approached him to make friends.

"Hello, I'm Lavender," I introduced myself. Then turn to me.

"Nice to meet you," I said as I reached out my hand in front of him.

He accepted it but immediately let go of my hand. I just smiled at him then sat in his chair. He just made me sit down and didn't say a word.

"How are you, Lavender?" He asked me.

"I'm good you?"

"I'm fine. Thank you very much."

"You're welcome."

He invited me for a walk and I immediately agreed. I immediately stood up to walk with him. He told me his name was Jack. His name suits him because of his good looks. We continued walking while telling the story, I noticed that I was the one who spoke the most.

We didn't realize it was night so we decided to eat. After we ate we said goodbye to each other.

"In all my future is in the company, I am thankful because there is Daddy's staff who do not give up. They continue to invent to bring out the smell of such perfumes." That's what I always thought.

After I parked my car in the garage I went straight inside the house. When I closed the door, I immediately turned around to go up. I didn't expect anyone else to be here in my house. I was just surprised when he suddenly spoke.

"I've been calling you before, you're not answering my call?" He scolded me.

I didn't answer first but I went to my office here at home. I put down my bag then I spoke. I raised my cellphone enough for him to see it.

"I left my cell phone, I was just walking in the park and then I went out to eat," I explained to Steven, my boyfriend.

He said nothing but to walk away from me. He bent down to go straight outside and finally rode home. He left me standing while watching his car take off.

I sat in the swivel chair, I blew air. I am crying when I think of Daddy. I still remember when we were together, he made me feel his love. Everything was made and customized for me because Mommy went home to heaven first.

"I love you so much, Daddy and I miss you so much," I tearfully closed my eyes holding my necklace containing his last scent.

I prayed that he would guide me to continue the business he left behind. It's not a joke to run a company but I can handle it for him.

"He was my inspiration," I said to myself as I wiped away my tears.

I got up to go up to my room. I cleaned myself to sleep. I am alone in this house, I am the only one living. I am Daddy's heir because I have no siblings.

We also have a house in Boston where I lived while studying and when I started working. I rushed here to manage the company and to see more of Daddy's property. Right now I need to sleep first to get some rest. I lay down and let drowsiness visit me.

While everyone was busy in the laboratory I hurried out. My car took me to the Coffee Shop. Upon arrival, I went straight to the counter with Jack's friend. I would ask him if Jack had a number I would call.

After I heard his answer I was depressed because he also didn't have a number on him. I took his address so I could go. He said he was working but I was naughty, I wanted to go. Jack's friend did nothing but give up.

I wasted no time until I got to the place. I was amazed here at the place and thank you for visiting where he works. Many people go for walks with their families. I rolled my eyes but I haven't seen him yet.

There are many flowers of different types. I smiled at the beautiful colors. My eyes searched for Jack until I saw him. He is holding a bunch of flowers.

I hurried into people to get close to him. When I got closer I hurriedly brought the strips I was carrying to his nose, smelling the solution made in the laboratory. With each smell, I asked what flower was used which was immediately answered. Excited, I repeatedly sniffed the three strips I was carrying until he was bored.

I walked away for a while so that he could plant the flower he had brought first. I speak as he plants. I told him I needed someone like him who was accustomed to the smell of flowers. He was surprised but he didn't ask any more questions.

I waited for him until his break time so we could talk in-depth. I told him my purpose. Because I saw his job I offered him a job with a good salary. I told him to think carefully about what I said.

Since I was not in a hurry, I gave him my calling card with my full address. I was about to leave the place when I noticed that my necklace was gone. I was confused so I went back to Jack's flower garden. I looked around to find my necklace.

Confused, I scraped the plants Jack had planted until they were all uprooted. I don't care if people looking at me. I cried as I continued what I was doing. When I finally saw it, my tears flowed as I locked them in my palms.

Jack shuddered to see how I looked. I just bent down and stood up. There I saw that my dress and the heel of my sandals were muddy. I hit it and I finally left that place.

It was as if I could still hear their laughter. I just cried again. When I shook my necklace I whispered that I didn't want to lose it. I got to my house and immediately took a shower. I put on new clothes before going to the lab.

Steven greeted me. I immediately asked if anyone had hit the right smell of Atmosphere Perfumes. He hasn't answered me yet but I know he hasn't, I just swallowed.

I said goodbye to Steven to finally enter the laboratory. I sat down at the empty table to continue the invention. I stood up to check on all the employees, they were all doing their best to discover the formula. I was shocked to see that Steven was not in the lab.

I went to his office. He's Daddy's Vice President and he's my boyfriend now. I saw him talking on his cellphone but I could not hear what they were talking about. I didn't bother him, I left and went back to the lab.

The next day I went to Jack again to say hello and ask him about my offer. When his boss saw me he mistaken me for his girlfriend. Jack just laughed at the boss. We moved away from the people for a moment so that our voices could not be heard.

He hadn't told me to grab my offer yet but I just let it go. Just as importantly I offered him and he still had the decision. I just said I was waiting for his decision. I finally said goodbye to him as well.

I'm going straight to my house. I'm just here at home, I'm going to the laboratory tomorrow. I just called Miss Kim to supervise them while I was out of their sight. I thought if Steven had gone earlier he would have replaced me shortly.

I am currently at the top of my house, I just finished getting dressed because I am about to enter the laboratory. Because it's too early for me I'm still going to do everything I do here at home. Suddenly I heard heavy footsteps and someone called my name.

The voice was still far from me so I went out. I ran down the stairs continuously with someone calling me. I answered because I knew it was close. I was surprised to see Jack.

I smiled broadly because I knew he was accepting my job offer. I'll introduce him to the business first and get around here at home first. I could hear him praising the stuff and I just let him go because I saw he was enjoying it. I took him to the laboratory to start our work.

I first introduced Steven, my boyfriend. I told him there was a new employee who would help us explore Daddy's formula. He agreed because there was nothing he could do. After I toured and introduced him to the staff, I gave Jack a white coat and goggles that we both wore. We went to the vacant table to start brewing.

As we do the work because of Jack and I's mistake we laugh. Since our tables were far away from other staff, we could no longer bother. We both work more productively. The more we formulate that formula we still don't get the smell I want.

While Steven is always in the office, he only enters the laboratory when a formula is developed. I just let him because he is Vice President and his attention is always on his cell phone. Sometimes I just see him leave when Jack and I walk past the table. I'm not affected by what he does because we're just working.

Gone are the days that the scene was like that. We did a lot of the process but still didn't discover the smell of Daddy's perfumes. I still don't lose hope, especially now that Jack is there to help me a lot. I will continue to explore Daddy's formula.

I explained to Jack that Atmosphere Perfumes is the leader in providing perfume products throughout Asia. Large orders in markets including malls. So I did everything to keep Daddy's perfume name as I thanked him. He nodded at me and said he understood me.

The employees were happy to be with Jack because he was kind. It is obvious to Miss Kim that she admires Jack because he is hardworking and reliable. Everyone is happy when at work. Steven pushes when the staff is having fun even at break time.

I just let him because he was always in the Office. It's not like I'm helping the lab bring out the original mixture. His pushing didn't hinder Jack and I's work. We just concentrated on what I wanted to discover.

To reduce my haste and confusion because I wanted to explore Daddy's formula, I went out to inhale the air. I took a walk in the yard to relieve my stress. I was too beautiful and young to worry about Daddy's business. I remembered Daddy and Mommy again but I just smiled secretly because I knew that everything would be fine too, especially the business that Daddy left.

Lavender's POV

Jack and I worked hard in the laboratory to get the formula I had the most. We took overtime just to create it but until now have not figured out and got the right formula. I rolled my eyes around inside the laboratory, all the employees doing their best. I turned my gaze back to Jack who had earlier been complaining of hunger.

"I'm starting to complain," Jack told me.

"It'll be over in a moment," I said as I transferred it into a container of a mixture.

"Do you see these people, there is nothing else to do but work, should by this time they will eat," he said.

He ran outside without letting me know. I looked at my employees, I told them it was okay to eat. They immediately got up to go to the cafeteria opposite the laboratory building. I arranged my things and then I went out.

Before I could finally get out the door and pass Steven's office, I peeked inside but he wasn't there. He was probably already in the cafeteria to eat with the employees. Yes, he is my boyfriend but I don't feel his support for me. Angry with Jack instead of him being with me in discovering the formula isn't it?

I knew he was with me here in the laboratory but his presence was far from me. He is a villain in tandem, he should support us and not oppose Jack. I finally got out and headed to the garden at the back of the laboratory building. I was shocked because Jack was there, sitting on the long bench.

I sat on the end of the chair to relax, I was waiting for Jack's apology for what happened earlier. I took a deep breath and then exhaled to relieve the pain in my chest. It was like the hardship I was going through today. I would cry in response to Jack's apology.

What's wrong?"

"Nothing," I sighed.

Jack stood up and pulled my hand away, I let go of him as we started to walk. I just realized that we had arrived at the wet market at the fruit shop. The amount on display, the variety are appetizing.

"Fruit festival ah," I whispered to myself.

Jack had already bought some fruit and handed it to me. He was the one who made me sad but now he let me smile which I still enjoyed. I bought more fruits because I was also hungry. We ate the fruits while spinning storytelling. We arrived at a place that sells burgers, we sat in the vacancy and then ordered.

Our stomachs were full, we took the opportunity to wander until we reached the Park. Just the opportunity did not go well because the heavy rain suddenly fell. Jack and I hurried to find shelter. We took shelter in the waiting shed, fortunately, we were not completely drenched in the rain.

The story went on and we both laughed, temporarily losing the heavy feeling I had before. It took us a few hours to wait for the rain to subside. When the rain stopped we decided to go home. Tomorrow we will be entering the laboratory again but we enjoyed Jack's outing just now.

The next day in the laboratory, Jack and I met again. New hope to achieve the desired and discover daddy's formula. Jack and I had enjoyed our company, my day would be fun. It made me feel better and he even helped to ease my feelings.

After a day of work, I went straight home. I went upstairs to my room. I was washing and getting dressed when I heard my cell phone call. The caller's name was immediately registered and it was Steven.

We are here tonight at a famous diner. Face to face at the same table as most. The waitress took care of us as she handed us the menu. I was busy looking at our order while he was, the cell phone was his attention.

I just focused on my food when our orders arrived. I started eating while Steven was still in charge of his earlier mess. However, I just understand the situation between the two of us. He ate well after typing earlier.

The two of us went for a walk first but I felt his attention was different. Instead, we were talking to ourselves but someone else he was talking to on the cell phone. It's just a waste of time for the two of us to go sightseeing because his time is not mine. I just invited him home and I was in a hurry to drive home.

The next day, I hurried inside the lab so I could start more activities with Jack. Suddenly Steven entered the laboratory with a new employee. I was shocked because he didn't say it. He was the only one who volunteered to hire an employee to the point that he fired Jack.

The expression on my face changed, I wanted to scold him but I didn't because there were so many people around us. I challenged him and told him, Jack, made a big contribution and helped in creating the new mixture. I apologized to Steven's friend who said she was a new employee. I smiled very sweetly at her once saying there was no vacancy.

Steven got angry and walked out. Jack also suddenly left without letting me know. Even though that happened I continued my work with the other employees. After work, I tried to call Jack but he didn't answer my call.

I went to Daddy's office. I stood by the window and looked out. There was a knock on the door so I was told to enter because it was not locked. Steven's figure appeared in the doorway with a very serious face.

I let him speak first. I was surprised by what he said, he would resign. And with our competitors, he still wants to work. He also admitted to me that he provided a copy of the new creations to make a new mixture of perfume. I was bored with him and I wanted to be angry but I chose to just keep quiet.

Jack came in as well, we continued with another task. All the employees lined up when suddenly a calling card fell into Jack's pocket. Miss Kim picked it up and handed it to me. My eyes widened as I read the name on the calling card.

"Olivia De Castro," her number is also written below her name. My eyes asked to look at Jack.

"How do you know her? I asked him.

He explained to me that when he came here to accept my job offer, he saw Olivia coming out of the office. She offered to take him.

"Olivia is the competitor of Daddy's company. She loves copying the mixture.

One more thing, Steven resigned already to work with her. The worst is he gave them a copy of our latest finished mixtures."

I know he was surprised by what I said about Steven. He hastily ran out. I tried to chase but his speed got away. I blew in the air to release the weight from my chest.

I didn't go to the laboratory first, let Miss Kim manage the laboratory today. I want to ventilate and breathe fresh air. Here I went to Flower Farm. Nice view of the vast garden of beautiful flowers.

I sat on a bench, thinking about what next step I would take, especially now that I can just manage the Atmosphere Perfume alone. Anyway, Steven never helped me before. The pain is not easy just because he even brought the mixtures. I can't do anything because it's already happened, I'll just want to do something new.

Three hours later, I thought of going home but before I went home, it would be best for me to go through the laboratory first. I had just seen a lot of people outside the laboratory. I hurriedly parked and then got out of my car. Run the load to get to the building.

"Why, what happened?" I asked as soon as I arrived.

Miss Kim approached me, told me what had happened. It was there that I noticed the employees that they were all outside. The plumber explained to us that the water tunnel inside was badly damaged so the water had accumulated. The laboratory will be temporarily closed for repairs.

The employees understood everything. I told them that I would send through the ATM their wages and benefits. They slowly went home, Miss Kim hugged me and patted me on the shoulder. I just answered it with a deep breath.

I let go of Miss Kim's hug, I smiled and said I was okay. Everyone has a reason it's just so cool. But I want to be happy about what happened. After the employees went home, I examined the laboratory before going home.

Dropping my shoulder headed to my office. I sat down in my swivel chair, where I let out my abundant tears. There was no word on my lips but a pure sob. I hugged myself feeling the pain in my heart.

After I cried, I felt relieved. I climbed to the top of the room to rest. I have a lot to do so I need energy. I go to sleep first because I feel so tired.

I saw Daddy's vast Flower Farm with benches on it that placed the seats of the people who visited. On a bench, I saw a man, not very old and with his back turned. I walked over to the man, I sat at the end of the bench where he was sitting.

"The atmosphere is nice, hija, isn't it? That's what he told me.

"Ah, oh, it belongs to my father who is already in heaven. These are the flowers we use as a mixture to make perfume," I explained to the man.

"You know, hija, you're not alone no matter what you intend or plan, don't stop," the man advised.

I immediately sobbed at what he said. I could not speak because his words penetrated my heart. I wanted to answer him but I couldn't open my lips. All I could do was cry. I let the man hear me crying.

"Thank you for your reminder whoever you are, it's a big thing for me to continue what I started. There are obstacles but they are part of what needs to be overcome," I said.

"That way, hija, be strong as long as you include God in your plans. All right, I'm leaving."

Even though I couldn't speak, he finally stood up. I watched him from behind as if he was like Daddy's posture. I stood up to chase to see it in the face but suddenly disappeared like a bubble.

"Daddy!" I shout daring him to come back because I'm sure he is.

I cried, and even more, I went back to my seat. I was talking myself that my Daddy visited me but he didn't even show his face. I want to hug him tightly and complain. Again with a shout, I let out.

"Dad!"

Until I heard my cell phone vibrate. I sigh, waking up from sleep. It was all a dream, but my father visited me. At six o'clock in the morning, I sat up in my bed and stretched.

I looked up then closed my eyes.

"Thank you, Daddy, because you didn't leave me, you were just there to guide me. Everything you told me in my dream was right. I will not let the business go."

I got out of bed to take a shower and then went to the kitchen. Even when I was at home I had to take care of what I had promised to send to the ATM, the wages and benefits of the employees. At least my office is right here so even if something happens in the laboratory I still have all the copies of their status. After I ate, I started my workaround at eight o'clock.

The Copied Mixtures

Third Person's POV

After Olivia got a copy of the mixture that Lavender and Jack made from Steven, she immediately went to her laboratory to give the mixture. Her employees immediately worked to release the outcome of the perfume. Many processes have been done and it just can't be done in a day. This means that in a week only one mixture must be processed thoroughly to investigate its ingredients.

Steven didn't know the things Lavender was doing back then. The whole thought of him was just like that with the mixture he got from Del Castillo's laboratory. How does he know the process?

He didn't help in the Laboratory before but he just sat down at the office. Surprisingly, he was made a Vice President but he doesn't know about their products.

All of Olivia's staff hurried to get the outcome she wanted immediately. All her staff were afraid of her, they made it easy with no diligent inquiry. Yes, they did create it but Steven didn't know enough about it to help. They created a unique scent that has not yet been on the market.

All the outcomes of the perfume need to be tested first, they have a tester available. Because of Olivia's great fun, she was able to advertise even on TV what they created in her laboratory. She encouraged people to enjoy their work by buying them. After her advertisements, she went back to the laboratory to check out her newly created perfume.

As she reached the Laboratory, she saw the newly created perfume. She was amazed that she made the right decision to finish it in a hurry. She forced her staff to finish them as soon as possible, which they did right away. She got one bottle and proudly sprayed the newly created perfume.

She sprayed it on her neck and wrist in her hand. Everyone witnessed and saw the excitement on her face. Thirty minutes later he felt something strange on her neck. Her neck was irritated and it turned red.

Her nose smoked with anger that she wanted to scold her employees. But they made excuses, they did not go through a proper process. When everyone is in a hurry there's something they missed.

"What happened to that perfume? Why irritate my skin?" Olivia shouted.

"We just followed what you want, that's it," one of the employees said.

Olivia sighed angrily as she walked over to Steven. She immediately entered where the man was working. A series of bad words came out of her mouth. Steven just listens to Olivia's words.

After the woman spoke, it was his turn to speak too. Everything he wanted to say to the woman had already been released. Gradually, the anger subsided in his chest as they exchanged long words. Olivia just left the office, did not say goodbye to Steven's place of work.

The man punched his fist on the table as the door closed as the woman came out. He blew air into the air then sat down in his swivel chair. He closed his eyes then looked up, he did not feel his tears dripping.

As he closed his eyes he saw Lavender's innocent face. He remembers when Lavender first arrived and she was in charge of his father's company. He felt angry so he said he loved the girl even though the truth was not. To his knowledge, the girl believed him.

He knows he can't manage the company without the late father of Lavender's original formula. All sorts of mixtures that were created did not match the formula but all of them compiled the copy. Because Olivia offered him a bigger salary, he accepted it immediately. He even hired a new employee to help him with a copy but was unsuccessful.

He had heard about what had happened at Lavender's Laboratory; he knew that they would not continue to create perfume. He is now thinking of arranging all the copies so that he can produce even more perfume. To lead the market more than the Atmosphere Perfumes. For himself, he will use his position as a vice president, and all he has learned there will dedicate his service to Olivia.

After a long thought, Steven stood up, from his office went to the laboratory. He would check why Olivia was irritated when the sample of the newly released perfume was used. Olivia's staff only obeys orders but not all the time, the only thing they can do is to follow the instructions. Their initiative also needs to scrutinize what has been created before the final touch.

Steven was devastated to discover that Olivia's laboratory was in short supply. They don't have Fragrance allergy detection which is best accomplished by testing with the fragrance mixture of either synthetic or absolute. It would be desirable to have common fragrance allergens listed on cosmetic labels so that patients could avoid the allergens to which they are allergic. He was just shaken because Olivia still lacked the equipment.

He doesn't know his reaction, will he be annoyed or happy because the sheer numbers of perfumes that have been made have not gone through fragrance allergy detection. If a person happens to use the tester and also has allergies, everything he worked so hard to copy will be destroyed. What kind of new job did he take? Will he be the one to continue the problem for Olivia's entire company that lacks knowledge about creating perfumes?

That's why Olivia's company is just copying or maybe she's paying someone to be a spy for Del Castillo's company and he's one of those who took the offer. Many die of delusion like Steven. He would talk to Olivia about what he had found out. They need new sets of equipment inside the laboratory.

After Steven and Olivia's conversation, the woman doesn't know what to do. Loud swearing because they will lose a lot of money, especially if they do not continue to sell the perfume in the market. They need more machines and need to buy them abroad. Instead, Olivia will be happy about what happened in Del Castillo that she stole a copy she and Steven's karma returned immediately.

Olivia is thinking deeply now, she doesn't have enough money to buy a machine abroad. He had many employees to be paid, and a lot of money was wasted because of his haste. She thought of getting drunk at home to temporarily forget about his failures in her own company and business. After drinking a lot of alcohol, she was already tipsy.

She was screaming and she could almost break everything in her house. She is alone because her husband is gone for five years, he died in a car accident. Although he inherited money, the house and property were still not enough for her because she lacked business knowledge. So that's what's happening now in her company, she always runs the wrong way.

She did kidnap Steven from the Del Castillos but he also didn't know anything about the perfume company where he came from. Consecutively the murmur she released from her mouth and sobbed. She wanted to curse her life but she still had sanity left in his brain. Exhausted by the loss, Olivia fell asleep.

They need to hire a marketing specialist for their strategy's adjustment. At that point, Steven remembered Lavender again. He shook his head to lose his mind about her. Now he realizes the great mania he has done to Del Castillo's company.

It was not in his conscience that there was remorse in his will. How did he do all that? To deceive himself into accepting Olivia's offer of large sums in exchange, giving her a copy of Lavender and Jack's creations. Damn it! He was cheap in his mind.

"Oh, Steven why are you so stupid daydreaming go to work, because we have a lot to take care of here!" Olivia ordered who had just arrived at the Laboratory.

"Sit down Olivia we'll talk," Steven said.

Olivia sat down for their conversation. Steven told everything that was lacking in Olivia's company. She couldn't quite imagine how complicated everything in her business would be. What can she do now? What else is missing in her why she can't do the business properly?

She first exited at the Laboratory, while driving his sports car he thought of visiting Del Castillo's Laboratory. When she got there it was closed, there were no employees and of course, she knew there was no perfume. They were the only ones her company had. She grinned at his thought and she laughs like crazy.

"At least people will buy our perfumes as long as we buy machines, '' says her brain.

She left immediately, went to a park to get some air when she suddenly thought of going to her husband's grave. When she placed the candle and flowers she had bought, she offered a prayer. While praying, she was talking to her husband

Steven greeted her on her way back to his Laboratory. They entered Olivia's office to discuss the cancellation of their advertisements while they had not yet been aired on TV. It's embarrassing but they have to accept that rather than people will use the perfumes and will irritate them, then probably they will be offended. They need to call a conference meeting to say the cancellation nicely so as not to offend people.

Against Olivia's will, there was nothing they could do. They had to deal with any bullying. Swallow her pride for her company bequeathed to her by her husband. If she doesn't fix it, his late husband may still haunt him. Olivia just sighed.

The interview is two days later this Monday. Although Olivia was trembling at the conference meeting, she was encouraged. Even with her knee-trembling, she must walk forward to speak. Silently, everyone heard the reason for calling the meeting.

The other visitors laughed but Olivia insisted on being formal. Various questions were thrown at her but she tried to answer in an orderly way that the perfumes they sell were still beautiful in the eyes of the people. It was as if she had just breathed after the interview with her. She was in a hurry to leave after the conference meeting.

They have to let go of the rumors before releasing another perfume. It is likely, in that duration they will be able to buy their complete laboratory equipment. They just wasted money, efforts, and time by not being fair. This is a big lesson, especially for Olivia.

Steven will do the tasks because he is the Vice President of the new company he joined. He is no longer just sitting in del Castillo's office, waiting for someone to need his signature and just turning around to harass Lavender and Jack. He is now Olivia's servant in her business. He couldn't do anything because he also grabbed Olivia's offer before.

He did not dare to complain because he had received the money before. So he is now submissive to Olivia. He was thinking of Lavender now, probably watching Olivia's conference meeting on TV. What does Lavender think about them and Olivia?

He didn't want to think more about his mistake so he made himself distracted inside his new office. Focused attention on the paperwork until he saw the job offer written on a bond paper. He read it and also saw the contents of the paper that Olivia had given to him before. Another person will be fooled again by Olivia, he said to his brain.

No name was written on the paper yet so he picked it up crumpled with one palm. When it was crumpled, he threw it in the trash. He shot straight right away. Olivia suddenly came in and asked Steven if he had seen a paper with a job offer written on it?

Steven shook his head which meant he saw nothing that was already in the trash can. The lady cursed in front of Steven just because of that paper. He just let the woman search. Who is that job offer for? Will this woman make a trap to fall into another's business again? Consecutive questions in Steven's mind.
