"It was a night like any other when Forsythe Pendleton Jones III or Jughead, affectionately, went to a school party in the woods. But unlike his peers, Jughead never came home. A few days later, his body was discovered at the bottom of a ravine." she turn off the TV and took the remote from me.

I was annoyed by her act" what's is that Amie Johnson" I ask her with my annoyed face. "you obsessed with this TV show Bethany!!!" she snapped back. I bring my hands near to her and start to tickling her until she burst out laughing and throw the remote away.

I took the remote" you got interview tomorrow Bethany go to bed early" she mumbled and went to bed. "OKAYYY" I rolled my eyes and went to bed.

I and Amie were meet at middle school and become best-est friend. Its happen so fast. Her round sea green eyes and puppies look, she just cute. We when high school together, college and we graduate together. Now she grown obviously to a pretty women and she work as general manager in one of the famous company.

Amie parents own a textile company which is Johnson's Textile. She is the only child for them but she didn't want to burden her parents and did everything to her own.

'beep beep beep beep!!!' I turn off the alarm and pull my blanket to my face. "Wake up you lazy bud, you're gonna be miss the interview" Amie mumbled and get ready for her work.

I look at the time it's almost 8.15am. I got interview at the famous Lanister's Corp. I jumped off the bed and run to shower. It's 8.20am, Amie left for her work before that she wished me luck for my interview. I comb my wavy hair into ponytail and put a bit lip gloss, took my spectacle for my brownies eyes and run to my car with my CV in my hand.

I reach the Lanister's Corp at 8.50 am. The building almost hit the clouds. I took deep breath and step into the building. "Are you for the interview, it's at the 15th floor" she give me a warm smile and directed to the lift. I nodded and took the lift. When I enter the hall I saw some nervous faces.

That's make me nervous, I search for a seat but" Ms. Bethany Davis, please follow me" a red hair female asked me to follow her and "good luck, Mr. Lanister is waiting for you" she added. I nodded with smile and knock twice the door before I enter in. I saw a man from his late fifties sat beside the corner of the desk. He look at me with warm smile and ask to take a seat.

I let my CV to him, "so Ms Davis why you choose this company?" he asked politely. I about to answer but "we choosing employee not they choosing my company" a hard boiled voice come from behind me.

I looked behind , there is no way I seeing him. He right in front of me, Ethan Lanister the handsome eligible bachelor and arrogant to described his personality. His gray stormy eyes took my CV, start flip the page.

It's makes me little more nervous and shock.

The man beside him noticed me and" Ethan don't scared her, she might be nervous" he compliment me. "Scared of me, it should be respect not scared uncle" his eyes meet mines. Time pass I answer all the question he asked.

Outside the building, I took deep gasp and walk to my car. My phone rang, I saw the caller id and immediately answer the call.

"hey mom, how are you?, "hi sweetie, I'm fine how is the interview, what happen?" she asked with worried tone.

"Mom I cannot sleep until 11 now, I should wake at seven to get ready to work" I sighed. "owh dear you got the job, I'm so happy for you sweetie" she excited and shared the happy news to my dad," my Bethany baby got the job, I'm so happy for you darling my dad joins mom.

My parents owns a small bakery and my sister Natalie doing her nursing. After I graduate I work at a shop as waitress until I get a permanent job. And today is the day, I made it in Lanister's Corp.

Amie hugged me and congratulated me. "you know what, who interview me today Am" I asked her with excitement," who your Riverdale hero Jughead or Archie she answered with joking tone.

"Ethan Lanister" I shot. And I saw her face expression changed. Her smiling face turn into worried and shock.

"Beth you should search job at another place, I don't think this will work" she worried. "Come on Amie it's been awhile, you should forget what happens" I comfort her. She looked more worried when I said like that.

Ethan was Amie's first love, they broke up due to some misunderstanding back in high school. Ethan was our senior when he continue his college they both broke up. After the break up Amie become more stronger than ever. She never tell me the exact reason of their break up but I believe that the reason should be more hurt her that's make her take this decision.

I'm with them when they argue and I still remember that Amie give a sharp slap to Ethan. He froze and Amie "don't ever come to my life, I don't want to see your face, I HATE YOU" she cried and run. I look at Ethan with disgust and follow Amie.

I don't know the reason but I should support my best friend. First I shocked to see Ethan again and I don't think he remember me because he act like one. I guess he changed, he become more different than in high school, I mean more handsome, manly, muscular to be honest.

"Congratulation my dearest Bethany darling" Jason shouted when he enter our apartment, followed by Tessa, Jess and Alex they all congratulated and hug me. They are Amie's colleague and become friends of us.

"Beth you going to work at Lanister's Corp, come on girl it's going to be fun" Jess chuckled with excitement.

"We should celebrate this" Alex said.

"yeah" join Tessa and Jason.

I just make my eye rolled "guys it's just Lanister's"

"Noooooooo it's LANISTER'S, we should celebrate it" added Tessa.

I look at Amie, she still with the tense face.

"It's going to be alright Amie, I can handle it don't worry" I side hugged her.

We all decide to celebrate at one of the biggest bar near by the city. We took a table and start laughing and cheer up. Alex and Jason become hype and start to dance. They took Amie and Jess to the dance floor meanwhile I and Tessa make fun of them.

After a moment Tessa join them and ask me to join, I refuse because I'm a bit tired. I look how happy they were, I was so lucky to have friends like them. I feel kinda strange like someone were stared at me, I noticed at the corner of the bar. A man, I can't see him clearly but I'm sure he staring at me.

"who is that why he keep staring at me?" I question myself and I tried to near him. I struggle middle of the bar when try to near him.

He keep staring at me, he follow my gaze but only I can see is his covered face. His face was covered with a black handky. I still can't see his covered face, I tried to near him.

But then, I see gray stormy eyes " owh my is that Eth...."

"Beth!! what you doing here" Amie shot behind me. I nodded nothing and search for him. He is not there the place was empty, he just disappeared.

After half an hour Amie and I said goodbye to our friends and left the bar. Amie a bit drunk so I drive back to our apartment. Since its Sunday tomorrow Amie and I can rest. The stormy gray eyes again appeared in my mind. I just curious who was it.

In the morning, Amie and I decide to go a quick shopping. We left our apartment at 10am. Amie drive to a shopping mall. Shopping is one of the favorite thing to do for Amie. She is a extrovert person, she like outdoor activities but I'm kinda introvert, shopping make me bored sometime.

We enter the elevator in the mall, at the 2nd floor elevator door opens and when I saw him I look at Amie immediately.

"Ms Davis", Kim shook his, secretary of Mr Lanister which is Ethan.

I nodded with smile and "just Bethany" I replied him.

Beside him stand Ethan Lanister. His face look straight, Amie is nervous and hold my hand tightly. The elevator remain silence until the door open in 1st floor. We both come out from elevator.

Amie exhale and look like she come out from a oven. She sweat all over.

"What happen to you Am!!" I chuckle.

"what happen!!! you ask me what happen.

"You see right what just happen we bumped to your new boss and my ex!!"she stopped.

"See he didn't remember us" I replied her.

She look confuse but "how could he forget even though I'm his first love" she added.

"Look like someone mesmerized by him" I making fun of her."

"Stop Beth, we should focus.

"Not me, you should be focus" I snap back. She rolled her eye and grab my hand.

We had our lunch at a restaurant near by. It's my favorite Italian restaurant. We enjoy our lunch. Again a feeling catch me that someone staring at me. I look around, again the face covered man at the corner of the street. He staring at me, I decided to look after him.

I run out of the restaurant to the street where he stand. Amie looked confused and run after me. He still there, he keep staring at me.

"hey... who are you.? why you following me ???" I shouted at him.

Amie grabbed my hand "what's wrong with you?? who do you shouting at ??" she asked me with confusion covered in her face. I pointed my hand over the street corner but no one is there.

Why this weird things happen to me, who's that covered face man, why he keep following me. Thought about this man make me sick.

I can't tell about him to Amie because she don't have any idea about him. Back in that restaurant I try to explain everything to Amie, about the man with handky on his face.

The problem is she didn't see anyone like I described to her. That's make me more confused.

It's Monday, my first day of work. I join Lanister Corp officially. First day, of course a bit nervous.

When I enter the Lanister building I saw everyone busy walking over here and there. I confused and saw the red hair female who I met when I here for the interview.

"Good morning Miss" I greet.

"Good morning Ms. Davis, just Alexa" she replied.

"Oh you can call me Bethany" I added.

"Well I see everyone so much busy today" I asked with confused face.

"Oh yeah Bethany! since this is your first day of work, today we are expecting Mr. Howard" she answered.

"and who was that" I asked.

"you will know soon Bethany, good luck for your work today" she wished and get back to work.

I sat on my table and beside me a blonde man focused on his work.

"Hi I'm Bethany" I greet awkwardly.

He give a warm smile" Hey I'm Peter nice to meet you" he added.

"Since it's your first day you have to learn about this company, this is not like what you think, this company is totally different, you never know what gonna happen next, you never get rest, you never get any holidays" his tone was serious. I saw him without blinking my eyes with a scared look.

"Stop Peter you are scaring her" I hear a lovely voice.

"Hi Bethany I'm Madison, Peter just kidding" she said. I look at him he burst of laughter.

"look at her face, I'm sorry Beth I just kidding" he giggled.

"Don't bother him Beth, he bullied me even worst when I join here" Madison said. I smile awkwardly at them.

"Why everyone here so nervous and busy with work" I ask them.

"It is because Mr.Stone face is coming today" said Peter.

"Stone face you mean Mr. Howard" I smirked.

"Yes Beth. How you know him?" asked Madison.

"Oh that girl.. that red haired girl, she told me" I said.

"She is Katie Kim's PA" said Madison. I nodded.

"And why you calling Mr. Howard like that?" I question.

"You will know why we calling him like that" Madison added.

"Oh My God he's here he's here" I heard voices from hallway. Madison, Peter and I stand at the hallway corridor with other colleagues.

"Well Beth Mr.Stone face is CEO of Shark Corps" whispered Peter.

I open my eye widely "Shark Corps!!!"I whispered myself.

No there is no way CEO of Shark Corps is in my workplace. I have read articles about this Shark Corps. Shark Corps is the famous corporation which make other corporation scared because when Shark Corps give an eye on any other Corps, it will take over. All the other corporations will never get trouble with Shark Corps. People call the CEO of Shark Corps as "CORPORATE MOSTER".

I know because I read article about them, as everyone know the Shark Corps is the daily headline of the news.

I always wanna meet someone in Shark Corps but how lucky I am, I'm gonna meet the CEO of the Shark Corps today.

One thing make me confused, why he is here, why the CORPORATE MONSTER is in Lanister Corp, is that he gonna take over this company?.

I really confused. "why he is here" I asked Peter.

"He will be visit and have a meeting or some business dealing with all the corps in every month" he answered.

"Which corps failed the business dealing, he will take over the corps" Madison added.

"Almost 40 corps he take over or we can said that it's operate under him. But our company is never failed one because you know our boss, he is quiet well" Peter added. After 10 minutes the whole office become silent.

"What's going on" I ask Peter.

"He's coming" Peter replied.

That's kinda weird why should everyone damn silent even I can hear heart beat of the person next to me. This kinda funny too he just a human not a real monster. I see everyone is focus the hallway. I want to meet him in person of course he is the headline of the news, but I never see him and also his picture. The only thing everyone know is about the corporate some of them have seen him and some of them don't get chance. I really wanna meet him in person.

I heard some footstep from far. I saw Kim Ethan's secretary rush into the hallways.

"Good Morning Mr. Howard" Kim greet.

But I only heard Kim's voice. I heard the footsteps near to me, I don't know why but my heartbeat beats even fast now.

"He is here Beth" whispered Peter.

"Morning Ethan Lanister" I heard a cold voice.

"Dominic Howard" now I heard Ethan's".

Mr. Stone face I mean Mr. Howard's full name is Dominic Howard wow. The both CEOs are in front of me and greet each other and second wow.

To describe Dominic Howard, he just pretty, handsome and kindaaaa hot ops... what else I can say. He has sparkling blue eye with long lashes, his dark hair, perfect nose, and the jawline just perfect, he is tall and muscular than Ethan.

I can't take my eye of him. I don't know why but I keep staring at him, I don't know why people call him Mr.Stone face instead of Mr.Pretty face.

Suddenly, pair stormy gray eye stare at me I mean Ethan is watching my act.

When I saw Ethan, Mr.Pretty face meet mine too.

I look a bit embarrassed when both of them looking at me. What can I say now the both handsome eligible bachelors are now in front of me and staring at me.

Should I say "Hi..Hello...or...", this is so awkward. I have to stay focus as Amie mentioned before. Ugh this guys are too distracting.
