It was autumn when breezes carried coolness in their breath. In City J, the night was as dark as ink, deep and lonely.
At the entrance of a five-star hotel, two young women were pulling at each other.
"Larissa, are you really going in? What about considering it more carefully? That man... Didn't you say he's very scary?"
"What else can I do but beg him?" Larissa Wilson looked resolute, but her slender shoulders trembled uncontrollably. Her quivering long eyelashes drooped slowly, covering her clear bright eyes.
She walked into the hotel and came to a deluxe suite on the 22nd floor. With her slightly-curved fingers, she knocked at the door.
The moment the door was opened, she closed her eyes tightly. Her curly eyelashes flickered as they trembled.
When she breathed deeply, she smelt faint alcohol and tobacco, a scent exclusive to men.
Strangely, she felt it was pleasant.
At this moment, a man was standing in front of her.
Was it him?
Glen Lake!
He was said to be a cold and cruel emperor in business, a well-known but fearful man in City J!
Gazing at the shivering woman, the man smiled faintly and ordered in an indifferent, deep voice, "Open your eyes."
Obediently, Larissa raised her head and lifted her eyelids slowly. Her attractive eyes were filled with innocence and confusion.
With a glance at the man, she was overwhelmed by his aura of authority. A wave of panic swept over her.
She clenched her fists slightly, her fingernails against her palms. Her heart went pitter-patter out of control!
The air was frozen.
The time was stilled.
Her eyes were locked on the man...
On his angular face, his black eyes were full of solemnness of deep sea. His imposing figure gave him a touch of superiority to everything.
He was perfect and flawless!
After a long while, Larissa opened her mouth and said in a soft voice, "Un-Uncle Glen..."
There was not a ripple in the sea of the man's eyes. He turned around and sat on a sofa. A delicious languor was stealing over him as he crossed his legs casually.
Larissa didn't forget her purpose of coming here, the old or new scars on her body, or what her vicious step-mother had done to her.
Glen was the only person she could ask for help!
Nervous, she walked up to him and wrung the hem of her clothes. Then, she took a deep breath.
"Uncle Glen, please help me... I..."
For umpteen times she had practiced the begging, but at this moment, she was so scared that she couldn't even say a word in front of this man!
Three months ago, her father Kelvin Wilson died of a disease. Since then, her step-mother had been using all means to drive her out of this family.
During these days, she had been living in an abyss of misery. Eyes closed, it was darkness. Eyes opened, it was despair.
But one day, she overheard her step-mother talking on the phone.
By then, it was her first time hearing Glen Lake's name.
By then, she knew only this man could save her and the BM Group.
By then, she made up her mind to do something!
Finally, she managed to approach him...
"Uncle Glen..."
With a smile, the man interrupted, "Uncle Glen? How are you going to spend this night with me? Huh?"
Larissa blinked in confusion. Suddenly, she blushed with burning red!
The man leaned against the sofa, placed a hand on his knee, and observed her with his cold eyes. Every trace of her expressions, including panic, bashfulness, and puzzle, was all caught by his eagle eyes.
Then, a thud was heard!
She knelt at his feet, clasping his pants in an exceptionally humble manner!
She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. In a sobbing voice, she said, "Mr. Lake, now that you're willing to see me, you will help me, right? You have shares of the BM Group and you're my father's friend. You're going to give me a hand, right?"
Suddenly, the man stretched out a hand and pinched her delicate chin with strength. Her tears rolled down her cheeks onto his hand, giving him a feeling of warmth.
His lips moved slightly. "You've thought over it? You'll have no chance to regret it after doing this."
A surge of embarrassment and shame welled up deep in her heart. But the thought of those terrible things and wicked faces forced her not to flinch!
He grabbed her wrist and dragged her onto his lap with ease. As he held her waist with proper strength, the touch of her skin eased his frown. The air was filled with her faint fragrance, a scent of temptation!
He lowered his head slightly and pressed his cool lips against hers, sucking her sweetness aggressively...
Only after a long while did he lift his head. His magnetic voice came into her ears, "Go and have a shower."
Larissa swallowed, got off his lap clumsily, and escaped into the bathroom as fast as her legs could carry her.
Seeing her run away, he gradually curved his frigid lips into a smile.
Tonight, it was she who sent herself into the wolf's lair. How could he let her go easily?
He had waited so long for this day. This little woman was finally his!
...
In the bathroom, Larissa took off her clothes slowly and stood under the shower head, letting water rush against her body.
At this moment, she was like an object of unbridled enjoyment for a man. But no matter what misery or pain was waiting for her, she was determined to face it.
After a careful shower, she walked out with a bath towel wrapped around her breast and came up to the man shyly.
In front of him, she was as weak as an ant. It was like he could destroy her with only a finger.
Bit by bit, she loosed her grip on the towel.
Then, the only cover of her body slipped onto the ground.
She clenched her fists, trembling violently. Her heartbeat went wild and her breath also became a mess.
The man's stare was like a sharp knife penetrating her naked body!
"Mr. Lake, you must keep your promise. You must help me take BM back, let me continue my study, and..."
Suddenly, she was carried in his arms and placed on the soft bed. With interest, he gazed at her and loosed his belt.
Without any word, he pressed his body against hers...
There was a tearing pain!
Scalding tears running out of her eyes, she was so pained that she couldn't say a word, but without resistance, she let him explore her body as he pleased.
When the water rippled, when the ripples became surging waves, the clear lake couldn't withstand the violence anymore.
Before it was over, Larissa had closed her weary eyes...
Suddenly, the man stopped!
Dammit! It felt strange. What was wrong with this woman?
Her cheeks, which had been red, were as white as paper, her lips turned a little pale, and her body also became cool!
He removed himself from her body and held her in his arms at once. Softly, he patted her cheeks and said in an anxious voice, "Larissa Wilson!"
Did this woman faint because of him? But he hadn't even finished it yet!
...
After half an hour, a man in his early 20s walked into the suite with a black medicine cabinet in his hand.
After a brief diagnosis, he looked at the eye-catching redness on the sheet and gave a meaningful smile. "Mr. Lake, you were not so gentle, were you? How old is this girl? Seems she can't stand intense exercise."
"Johnny, just cut the crap!" Glen walked to the bedside and covered Larissa's body with a quilt. Although he had helped her dress well, he was reluctant to let any other men see her!
It was the first time for Johnny Evans, Glen's personal doctor and close friend, to see a woman on Glen's bed. Unavoidably, he was very curious and wanted to tease this cold-faced man.
Who was Glen Lake? He was the president of the EMC Group, a legend who increased the company's net worth to tens of billions of dollars within three years.
But even Johnny doubted that this man might have trouble in that aspect, or he wouldn't have been so abstinent!
However, tonight proved an eye-opener!
As Glen gazed at the pale face on the bed, his eyes became much gentler. "How is she?"
Johnny resumed seriousness on his face. "She sweats all over and has an unsteady heart rate. These are typical symptoms of hypoglycemia. I've injected glucose into her body, so she'll revive after a while. I've also drawn her blood, but I can tell you the result only after I go back to the hospital."
After hearing Johnny's explanation, Glen finally sighed with relief.
While packing the medicine cabinet, Johnny advised considerately, "Don't worry. She probably didn't eat anything before... doing excess exercises. Since she has sweat all over, you'd better help her take a bath and change clothes, or she may catch a cold."
Glen recovered coldness on his face and stared at Johnny – a silent order of eviction.
Lit up by a dim yellow light, the spacious room became quiet again.
As time flowed, he sat at the bedside, eyes steadily fixed on her face for a night.
...
The next morning, the faint sunlight illuminated the bed through the cream-colored curtain. Gradually, the bedroom became bright with vigor.
Larissa rubbed her eyes and lifted her heavy eyelids. Suddenly, she frowned deeply in confusion!
"You've forgotten?" Glen moved closer with an inconspicuous smile on his face. His gaze was fixed on her astonished and puzzled face.
She sat up instantly, those clear and impressive scenes flashing in her mind!
She lowered her head in great embarrassment and murmured, "No, No, Uncle Glen..."
Glen suddenly pulled a straight face and raised her chin. "Dare you call me uncle again?"
