Kaylan ran as fast as she could, her heart beating heavily and her legs already feeling tired. Yes, she was tired, but wasn't ready to stop.
Tiny drops of sweats gemmed her forehead, her breath hitching and making her pant.
"Oooowwwl!!" The blood thirsty wolves howled from behind her, far away. But Kaylan knew in no time, they'd catch up with her and do as they wish.
She never knew she could run that much, not until that very day. And now she was finally being chased, she couldn't help but wish it never had to happen. A wistful wish.
The wolves - about three of them - were still very far, but considering their supernatural status, Kaylan knew it was only a matter of time before they catch up with her, since she was only but a human.
As she ran heavily, her foot rustling through the dry leaves and covering so much distance as much as they could, so did her fears keep increasing.
Shortly, she ran out of the woods and came out to the road side where she saw a loaded truck which wave about leaving.
"No!! Please, wait!? Please!!" She cried out, but the driver didn't see to hear her.
And quickly and smartly, she got hold of the edge, jumped on and hopped into the trunk where she smuggled herself in between the rest of the loads there.
And voom! The truck took off.
*
The three wolves came out to the deserted road and looked around, there was no trace of her. And neither of them could get her scent any longer. Where could she be?
They ran a little more distance, trying to see if they could pick a single trail of her scent, but it was negative.
"Where could she be?" One of them asked the others, communicating through their howls and grunts.
The three wolves communicated and wondered how she could've suddenly disappeared. Going home without her was going to attract a great penalty from the Alpha and they knew it.
But what could they possibly do? She was nowhere to be found!
************
Kaylan was still breathing heavily as she sat at the back of the moving truck. Due to how long she'd been running, it was taking her a lot to calm her herself down, and she wouldn't really blame herself for that. She was so tired.
She reached for her cardigan pocket and brought out the gem; her heart beamed and felt relaxed, knowing it was still there. She still had it. She had been scared it would've fallen while she was running.
Her heart was beating really fast. When would this come to an end, huh? For how long would she continue running? How did things ever get to this point in the first place? She thought pathetically, her mind drifting to the painful memories.
Her name was Kaylan Humphrey - the only daughter of a one famous Hunter.
Kaylan's mother - Sapphire - was well known in the wolf world as a dreaded and dangerous Hunter. She hated the existence of wolves and took it as her priority to wipe every one of them out. If not all, at least, as much as she could.
She was the wolves' greatest enemy - every pack's nightmare as she was a great fighter and killed them perfectly each time she had the chance. Most nights, she was out hunting, just to kill any unlucky wolf. And Kaylan, was her only child. Father - unknown.
She built a camp where she trained other hunters and goes out with them on most nights to hunt and kill. But few days ago, everything changed. Changed for the worst.
Kaylan had been at the camp with some other people, just taking a rest. Her mother was out with the others, hunting. Suddenly, there was an attack. The wolves attacked them!
The memories were still very fresh in her head as tho, it had happened just the previous day.
She could recall the screamings, growlings, gnashing of teeth, sight of dead body.
Kaylan ran as fast as she could - but not without taking the gem - yes, the one she was holding in her hand presently.
Her mother had come home with the gem that very morning - she could remember. And it seemed so important to her. Somehow, Kaylan's instincts told her it had something to do with the wolves. .
She had seen her mother hiding it. And that night, when the attack took place, the first place she ran to was her mother's room to get the gem. She just couldn't tell why it felt so important and needed to be kept safe.
But her mother... there's been no word from her since then and rumours were, she'd been killed by the wolves.
Kaylan didn't want to believe it, but considering the fact there's been no word from her since then, it rendered her hopeless.
Their camp was destroyed, everything ruined. And now, she was on the run because she was being hunted by the wolves.
Kaylan couldn't help but feel so sorry for herself as she snuggled herself in the moving truck. Where does she go from here? How does she survive?
Her mother didn't keep friends. And as a result, she couldn't keep any friends either. She was rarely going out in the first place. Although, she attended high school, but that was it.
She was the quiet and secluded type and due to her mother's history of being a hunter, most people saw it risky associating with her as well. Although, the mere humans loved the wolf hunters and appreciated what they did since they were trying to protect them from the beastly animals, but considering how powerful Kaylan's mother was, they just couldn't help but feel a little scared of associating with her. And maybe being the kind of lady she was, didn't really care or make any attempt herself. So, all she did was go to school, learn and return home.
She only had one friend - her very best friend - who's name was Lucas.
Lucas was also the son of a hunter and his mother and Kaylan's mother were very close as well. Lucas was mostly at the camp because of his mother and as a result, him and Kaylan became close. He hated the wolves with passion and usually went out with his mother to hunt. And that very night - the night their camp was destroyed, he'd been out hunting with his mum and her mum. And since her mother was being rumoured dead, Kaylan believed he might've killed as well. Although, she badly hoped that wouldn't be true.
She was missing him soo much; so terribly. She could never forget all the lovely fun they had together - the way they'd play around and spend a lot of time. That was the only person that made her secluded life know what friendship felt like. And now, he's gone as well. How did her life become this pathetic ?
Where does she go to from here? She had no friends, no family. How does she survive?
She sniffed and placed the gem back into her picked and just then, the truck stopped moving.
What?
Oh, no.

Alpha Zane sat on his throne - like seat as the lady sat on his lap, caressing him.
His hands were on her thighs, while she moved tho and fro in between his legs, arousing him. Oh... she's always been the best at it.
Zane let out a satisfying grunt as he moved his hand upwards to her chest, taking the full sized breasts into his palms.
"Am I pleasing you, Alpha?" She asked in her sweet tone, turning her neck slightly but still couldn't see his face.
"Yes, you are, Mansi" Zane replied and that was everything she Wanted.
She put in more energy, trying to get the resting dick to touch her dancing butts. All she lived for was to please this guy - that was all she wanted.
Just then, his beta - Adrian - walked in, shirtless.
He was shirtless, but the crazy tattoos on his chest covered him completely.
"Greetings, Alpha" he bowed and greeted as he stood in front of him.
Zane didn't reply immediately as he took out time to lick Mansi's neck.
"What is it, Adrian?" He finally asked, his lips still stuck on Mansi's neck, an act that sent so much tingles down Mansi's spine.
"The messengers you sent after the Hunter's daughter are back" Adrian replied and Zane's eyes darkened immediately.
In one swift movement, he pushed Mansi off his leg and stood up.
"Go to my room and wait for me, Mansi" he commanded and Mansi bowed and left immediately, feeling excited.
Then, Zane turned towards his beta.
"Why did you just say THE MESSENGERS? Where's the hunter's daughter?" He asked icily, but Adrian gave no reply.
"Bring them here!" He rasped and Adrian bowed and left.
Almost immediately, he returned with the three messengers who looked a little uneasy.
"You had her location. Where's she?" Zane asked even before the boys took a stand in front of him.
"We're sorry, Alpha. She'd already ran off before we could get to the cave. We tried chasing her, but lost her" one of them replied, deciding to take the rest.
Anger and disappointment ran through Zane immediately, the anger taking the larger space.
He turned swiftly, took up an empty bottle on the floor beside him and threw it at one of them. Blood ooze from his head as the bottle crashed on it and he fell on his knees.
"Fools!!" Zane growled. "That's what you are!!! Do you hear me?? Fools!!!
"I sent you on a simple mission, you told me you had her location already. Yet, you let her slip through your fingers. You let a mere human slip through your worthless fingers. How pathetic!"
He kicked the table beside him.
"Go out there and make sure you don't return until you have the Hunter's daughter. I need that lady by every means possible. I need to lay my hands on her before anyone else does. LEAVE!!!" He yelled and the boys bowed and left immediately.
He fisted his hands angrily and held the table. That was the height of it. Why was she so difficult to get?? Why was she so difficult when he wanted her??
Damn it!!!
"Alpha" his beta called from behind, but he didn't make an attempt to look at him as he still felt so angry.
"I know this isn't the right time to say this but, two members of our pack were killed last night. They'd been missing but a while ago, their bodies were found. We strongly believe Alpha Asher is behind it". The beta continued anyway, knowing Zane would be hearing him.
Zane's anger only increased. Asher again??? He's bitten more than he can chew already.
Slowly, he turned around to face his beta.
"It's payback time" he said. "Time to plan a sweet surprise for him".
Kaylan could feel her heart beating so heavily as the truck stopped moving.
Oh, no. What does she do? She didn't plan did this.
Although, she'd expected the truck would definitely stop moving, she just never planned for what she would do when that really happens.
The truck driver had gotten to his location which was in front of a warehouse and stepping down to go open the truck, he was beyond shocked when he found a lady nestled right there - amongst his goods.
"The f**k is this??" The old man who should probably be in his late fourties, flinched as he wore a crumpled look on.
Kaylan's heart was beating really fast. She knew the warehouse might be filled with boys and just one call from the fat man in front of her, the boys would rush out and might end up doing nasty things to her.
"Please.... I don't mean any harm" Kaylan stated meticulously with her hands being lifted up like she was set for a race.
"Don't raise an alarm.... please".
"How the hell did you get in there? You a thief?" He snarled and Kaylan could feel her heart summersaulting in her chest. That has got to be a pretty bad label for her at that moment.
"No, I'm not. I...." She paused and stood up from the dirty floor, held onto the edges of the truck and finally jumped out.
"I'm so sorry if I inconvenienced you. I just needed a ride and didn't have money to board a cab. You can check your goods, everything's still intact. Didn't touch a pin. Thanks for your help".
And with that, she turned around and ran away, as fast as possible.
"Hey!! I didn't ask you to go!" The man yelled from behind, but Kaylan didn't even pause to spare him a glance as she continued running.
*
*
She ran for a long time, not minding where she was headed. The road was a straight one with no turns but trees and bushes by the sides. The trees were so tall with colorful leaves, but each time a heavy wind came around, they howled and imbued Kaylan with some light fears.
Finally, she found a turn and took it and that was when she stopped running, knowing the men were definitely not chasing her anymore.
She bent with her hands on her knees, panting heavily like an antelope. Damn it! She's had enough run for the day already - definitely.
Her heart was rising and falling so heavily in her chest with some sweat emitting from her poles. She was so tired... and hungry too.
She dipped her hand into her cardigan pocket to be sure the gem was there and thank goodness, it was. And just then, something crossed her mind. With the rate at which she was being chased, it wasn't safe to have the gem with her. Hell no. She needed to keep it elsewhere - somewhere safe.
She looked around and discovered the trees and bushes would be a really good place to hide something of that nature. Even if a wolf was to parade the area at any time, she was sure wolves didn't dig up "empty" grounds. And they also can't pick the scent of just an object.
So, having that conclusion in mind, she turned towards her right and proceeded to the forest - like place.
Only the sound of crickets chirping could be heard as Kaylan rustled her way through the grasses, continued walking deeper until she'd finally gotten to a perfect spot which was almost at the middle of the forest. She looked around for a stick and getting one, she started digging up - making sure she kept the circle small so it wouldn't be noticeable at all.
She digged and digged and when she'd gotten her desired depth, she stopped and placed the gem right into it. Whatever that gem was, she had a really strong feeling it was very important to the Werewolves. And since her mother had it, she was going to make sure she kept it away from them.
She covered up the spot after placing the gem in it. And for easy recognition probably in the future, she cut a colorful plant and placed on top of it.
And now, the spot didn't look like someone had dug it up in the first place. Instead, it only looked like where a beautiful flower had been planted.
Suddenly, there was a loud howl from a distance- one that startled Kaylan. She flinched and looked around, wondering where the wolf could be howling from. It sounded like a pained wolf - a wolf in trouble. And without hesitation, she stood up and ran away - out of the woods.
*********************
Mansi had a huge smile on her face as she laid on the bed and waited for Alpha Zane to come in and devour her like a hot meal.
She was so damn wet already, all her ogles responding and waiting to be touched. Just a thought of being f*"ked by the Alpha filled her with so much Passion and excitement. Not every lady gets the privilege to be on the Alpha's bed.
Although, she shouldn't be doing this since the Alpha's mate was her best friend, but hell! She couldn't help it. She's always drawled on Alpha Zane and dreamt of the day she'd be on his bed - in his arms. Although, the Alpha could sleep with as many ladies as he wants, despite having a mate, but Mansi knew it was wrong to be one of those ladies since his mate was actually her best friend and trusted her.
She knew what she was doing was wrong, but she couldn't help it. They'd only had sèx once - an act she made sure was kept hidden from her friend - and as soon as he steps into the room and uses her again, it was going to make it the second time.
She had no bad intentions for her friend, but having the Alpha reject her and pick her as his new mate wouldn't really be a bad idea afterall - she thought.
She was one of the omegas in the pack and badly wanted her status to get promoted.
She smiled as she caressed her hips, but her smiles suddenly changed when she recalled what had happened at Zane's throne room. When his beta when walked in and announced the wolves he'd sent after the Hunter's daughter were back, she could recall how angry Zane had been, knowing they didn't return with the Hunter's daughter herself.
What was so important about her huh? Why would Zane want to bring that witch over?
She was the daughter of their greatest enemy and perhaps, he wanted to extract revenge, but was it really necessary to have her brought over? Why doesn't he just order the wolves to hunt and kill her, instead of hunting to bring her alive? Damnit!
She gritted her teeth angrily. She hated that lady with passion, recalling all the terrible things her mother made her pass through. No doubt, she was just like her mother and was definitely going to be a hunter as well if her mother hadn't been killed. So, for that, she needed to be killed!!!
The door opened unheraldedly immediately, snapping Mansi out of her angry thoughts and making her turn to have a look. Oh... it was Zane!
Her eyes beamed immediately, her lips stretching in a smie. Every anger she felt got wiped off as she watched him walking in.
"Welcome, Alpha" she went on her knees on the bed and greeted with her head bowed.
Zane said nothing as he took off his shirt and sat on the edge of the bed.
Get down on the floor, Mansi" he ordered and without the slightest reluctance, Mansi rushed over and knelt in front of him.
That chest... shes always loved how bad it looked with the so many tattoos on it.
Zane unhooked his belt and that was enough signal and indication for Mansi as she smiled and pulled down the trouser a bit before pulling out his joystick. Oops! It came out big and hard - as usual. Her palm could barley wrap around it.
She stroke it gently for a while, liking how the flesh felt in her palm. She's had sèx with several men, but with Alpha Zane, it has always been different - too unique. Gosh! Even the moon goddess could testify she really loved this guy with her entire being. If only she could have a chance at being his mate...
She stroke it in her hand for sometime before taking her lips close, first licking up the thin opening on his phallús. It drove a crazy sensation down Zane's spine, he gripped her hair to control it.
Mansi licked it up again, rolling her tongue on the thin opening and licking up the creamish substance that emanated helplessly from it.
The pleasure on Zane's face was everything she wanted as it made her want to put in so much energy.
She lowered her head and took the full length in. Did she say full? Not full because it hit the back of her throat before she could actually get to the balls. She went up to the tip, down again and so she did for a long time untill the hot thick substance was finally released into her mouth.
She gulped it down immediately to avoid choking and felt so honored to have a taste of the Alpha.
She rolled out her tongue to the tip and licked every trace of the creamish substance around and as she did that, her erotism got increased as she badly wanted to be f*"ked already. Urgh! That should be the next thing on the Alpha's mind.
"Have you seen Nessa today?" Zane suddenly asked, touching Mansi's jaw.
Her heart grew heavy immediately. Nesss??! Why was he suddenly asking about her at such an important moment.
Nessa - that was his mate and her best friend.
"I... I saw her in the morning, Alpha" she answered anyway, humbly.
"And have you seen her since then?" Zane asked again and that was when it dawned on Mansi that Nessa hadn't been around for a long time now.
Hold on; where could she be?
