WORLD APART

"Ding! Ding!!" The bell rang signifying leisure period. Richard Edward hissed as he stretched his perplexed body. He looked at the wall clock and it was eleven o'clock.

"I still have some files to tackle,so I guess I'll ignore today's leisure" He said to himself while yawning tiredly staring at the piles of files resting on his table. His head were hurting really bad but he had to round up the files.

Richard Edward,a middle class citizen of New York. He had two kids, Ixora Edward his only daughter been his first child and Jerry Edward his only son. His wife Aurora is a business woman who owns a jewelry store. Their family was one of the most envied family, people wished to have such a happy family. Their kids were well trained with good moral behavior which other parents wished for their own children.

Richard removed his glasses and rubbed his eyes before cracking his fingers.

"Today has been such a hectic day" He mumbled replacing a file with another one.

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in" he ordered and the door opened. His co-worker Sasha Zic came in. She held a cup of coffee.

"Good day Richard" She said dropping it on the table.

He only nodded his head in response with his eyes still glued to his system. She placed her hands on the table pushing her chest down,freely exposing her flawless cleaves.

"Uhm... aren't you going out to have lunch, it's leisure period" She remained him whining her mouth.

"No I still have some files to tackle" He replied raising up his head and took a sip from the coffee.

"I can help you" She stuttered.

"I never asked for your help or did I?" He asked ceasing his eyebrows. "Please leave my office" He ordered and she rolled her eyes seductively.

"Okay then,but don't hesitate to call me Incase you need my assistance" She stood upright and fling her hair backwards seductively before turning around slowly, cat walking to the door. She turned around to see Richard staring at her disgustingly, she opened the door,winked at him before leaving.

"Jezebel!" He scoffed and continued his work.

Sasha was noting but a pain in his neck,he had never liked her but she keeps forcing her self on him.

Edward's Estate

Ixora came out of her room and walked down the stairs to the sitting room. She looked at her wrist watch,it was past twelve. She wore her pink sneakers before leaving the house.

She went to the garage where she packed her motorcycle,she mounted on it, wore her helmet and ignited the engine and zoomed out of the estate. She was going to pick her little brother from school.

Ixora was seventeen years old and was done with high school while preparing to get an admission into college.

She was a tall, slender girl with long dark hairs which flowed on her flawless skin. She was popular in her estate because of her special skills which she possessed for driving motorcycle. Right from her tender age,she was a lover of motorcycles and her dad got her one when she was in final year in highschool.

She went through driving skills and she learned really fast than expected.

She halted the motorcycle in front of her brother's school. She came down and went inside the school premises, her brother sighted her first.

"Big sis!!" Jerry screamed running towards her and embraced firmly.

"J-boy how was school today?" She asked ruffling his hair.

"School was perfect but I've been longing to go home,I can't wait to play my PS 4" He gushed happily.

"Jerry you and games are similar to five and six. Hope no teacher messed up with my J-boy today" Ixora teased him.

"Not at all"

They got outside and went to an ice cream stand. She bought two cones of vanilla ice cream and they sat under a shade to lick it.

Jakeson's Estate

Silver was still curled up in her bed, sleeping whole fully. Her room was in total mess. Clothes,bags, sneakers, hair pins and so on littered on the floor.

Her mother came into the room and halted. She grazed around the messy room and back to silver. She went closer to her and tapped her.

"Silver are you still on bed like seriously?" Eve her mother wondered.

Silver rolled noisily on the bed and continued sleeping.

"Silver would you get your lazy a$$ out from bed right now" Eve ordered but she pretended not to hear.

Eve left the room and returned with a broom,she was approaching towards silver when she jumped out of bed and landed on the floor.

"Mom!!"

"Come on get back to sleep. What's wrong with you, can't you see the time and you're still on bed for what?" She howled flinging the broom.

"Mom please I need to take some nap to relax my brain,just let me be" She nagged and climbed her bed.

"Why are you so ungrateful,why don't you want to help yourself at least look for a job rather than staying at home sleeping from twilight till dawn. For God's sake you are a full grown girl, I and your dad has tried our best by sending you to college but you proudly rejected the offer simply because you want to attend the most expensive school in New York which you know I and your dad can afford it. Silver change you're hurting me" Eve lamented painfully as tears escaped her eyes. Silver began feeling guilty.

"Mom I'm sorry" She apologized but her mom left the room. She sat down on her bed crying seriously.

She wasn't even proud of her own self and it pierced her heart so much. Her phone beeped beside her,she picked it up and it was a Mail. She opened it and she couldn't believe her eyes. It read:

"CONGRATULATIONS,YOU PASSED THE SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION, AUTOMATICALLY YOU'RE A QUALIFIED STUDENT OF CROWNS COLLEGE"

"OMG I can't believe this!!" She jumped out of bed.

Silver ran crazily all the way to the kitchen and kept leaping around her curious mom.

"What's the fuss all about, what's the good news?" Eve asked confusedly.

"I made it mom,I made it" She kept repeating her words making Eve more confused.

She pointed her phone directly to Eve's face.

"Can't you see this, isn't this good news?"

Eve read the details carefully and the cooking spoon fell from her hand.

"You made it silver you did!!" Eve squealed embracing her daughter tightly.

Both mom and daughter began dancing joyfully. Some months ago Silver had written a scholarship exam,she prayed really hard for her name to be among the winners.

Her family was an average family so they couldn't provide all her needs. When she was done with highschool,she refused to enter into college even when she got admission but was determined to go for a higher one. Her parents were angry with her cause they thought she didn't appreciate all they did for her.

She finally saw an advert for the scholarship exams and she applied hopefully and she came out as one of the best. Going to the most expensive and richest college in New York was just too exciting.

"I can't believe I'm going to my dream school OMG!!!" She jumped and continued screaming around the house. Her mother just kept smiling all through.

Zack Rowland underground Mansion

In a dark smoky room,a man putting on a black hat covering his face,his whole dressing was on black which made him similar to describe a devil. He was sitting on a rocking chair. A cigarette was stuck in between his fingers as he draws out large amount of dark smoke. There's a table beside him, which contained bottles of alcohol of different brands. Empty bottles and smoked cigarettes were littered on the floor.

There was a knock.

"Come in" he ordered in his thick, choked voice.

A guard came in and bowed without looking at him cause no one dared look at him face to face.

"Master they have assembled"

"Ok tell them to settle down, I'm coming to inspect their jobs" Zack replied.

"Okay Master" He exited the room.

Zack Rowland was an underground criminal who engaged teenagers in burglary. He harbours teenagers to help him steal from others and to deliver hard drugs to any client. Alternatively people knew him as a politician with strong ambition but he was a man with two faces.

He stood up and walked out of the room,though he wasn't drunk. He appeared in a large, beautiful hallway with so many doors that looked the same, He walked to the largest door and opened it. Immediately all his servants bowed down before him until he walked to his lion chair and sat on it.

"Come forward to give your account" One of his guards addressed the long queue of teens.

A young girl of about fourteen stepped forward and off loaded her bag. The contents was an iphone,.a golden wrist watch, three debit card and one golden bracelet.

"Master this is my account" She said bowing her head.

"I'm impressed with what I'm seeing, you've done well this time,you are dismissed" Zack said and she left. A boy stepped in,about eighteen years old. He emptied the contents out of his bag,which looked poor.

"What's the meaning of this shit?" Zack asked staring at the contents furiously.

"Master it wasn't easy stealing this stuffs, everyone seemed to be vigilant of themselves like they knew a criminal was among them"

Zack stood up and went for him, giving him a hot slap on his fair skin and it turned red instantly.

"Why did you return here when you couldn't get a reliable account for the day,so you dared me and came back here or you think I don't know how tricking you can be?"

The contents was only a silver earrings and a wallet with poor looking dollar notes.

"Search him" He ordered with an evil grin. The boy began to flinch backwards aiming to run but they caught him before he could run.

He was forced to be searched,he tried fighting off their hands from his body but they were stronger than him.

They dipped their hands into his underwear and brought out some raps of dollar notes and a golden necklace.

A heavy punch sent him down to the floor and he bled.

"How such a little pre - matured brat thinks he can outsmart me" Zack boosted and his creeping loud laughter echoed making the others terrified.

"Take him to the dungeon and let him freeze to death" he said lighting up a cigarette.

"Master please spare my life" The boy pleaded as they dragged him away.

"Riot in hades" Zack spat and increased the speed at which he smoked.

STAR OUTLET

Richard was still busy working on some files,when Sasha came in without his permission. She had released the button of her shirt and her boobs were fully revealed.

"Is this your office,how dare you badge into my office uh?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"Boss said you should check your mail box,he just sent you some piece of information" She said biting her lower lips.

"What happened to the telephone? Why couldn't you make use of it instead of pestering me?"

"I felt like seeing you that's why I came personally. I love you" She whispered and turned around,she began whining her waist.

"Sasha leave my office" He ordered and she halted.

"I love you Richard,no body can have you unless I do" She said and left.

He signed feeling relieved before proceeding to his emails. He knew it was noting more than work.

He popped on the mail which category was in promotion,it read:

"CONGRATULATIONS RICHARD EDWARD FOR BEEN ONE OF OUR BEST STAFF, AND WE ARE THRILLED TO HAVE YOU. YOU'VE BEEN PROMOTED TO STAR OUTLET MEXICO BRANCH AS THE NEW MD"

He screamed loudly and scattered the entire files on his table, finally he had been promoted.

"Yes!! Yes!! I did it,I passed through it" He said proudly to himself as he jumped repeatedly.

Richard rushed up with the remaining work he had and closed for the day. He hurriedly headed back home. Though traffic was a bit rough but he maintained his patience.

He pressed the door bell and Ixora didn't take long in opening the door.

"Dada is home!!" She squealed and flung her self on him. He closed the door behind him and Jerry ran towards him.

"Dada" he squealed happily as he jumped on his dad's back.

"My two little cuties how are you doing tonight?" He asked after bringing them down.

"We're fine dada" they replied and pulled him and sat him down on his favourite cushion.

Their mom Aurora came out of the kitchen still putting on an apron. He stood up spreading his arms wide opened.

"Mi Amor" She jumped on him with her legs rapped around his waist. She showered his face with kisses.

"You look beautiful My Avocado" He pecked her cheeks and put her down.

The kids were already looking jealous.

"But dada you didn't kiss me this way" Jerry said playing with his fingers.

"Me too, you never said I was beautiful" Ixora said biting her lower lips.

"I praised you kids,but Mommy gets a higher one cause she's my wife and she deserves it" He said muffling their dark hairs.

They nodded their head in understanding.

"Mi Amor you look different today, I mean you're very exultant this evening, what's the secret behind?" Aurora asked sitting beside him.

"Fam guess what" Richard said with a wide smile plastered on his face.

"What's that dada, just spill it out!!" Ixora said impatiently.

"Mi Amor just let it out please" Aurora pleaded.

"Ok then ,the good news is that I just got a promotion letter as a new MD of STAR OUTLET at Mexico branch" He announced.

"Yeah!!!"

The kids began Jumping joyfully,same as Aurora who kept on reading the mail over and over again. The family were excited that very soon they would be relocating to Mexico.

"Let's go have dinner to celebrate our fortune" Aurora said and everyone turned towards the direction of the dinning.

Jakeson's Estate

Silver sat alone in the sitting room waiting patiently for her dad's arrival. Her scholarship would eventually make him scream loudly.The door bell clicked twice, and silver opened the door. It was her dad,she jumped on him placing her head on his shoulder feeling his warmth.

"Welcome back home papa,I've been waiting so long for your arrival" She said disengaging from the embrace.

Freddy her dad smiled as he walked to the cushion and collapsed tiredly.

"Oh no papa, you're so tired, I'm gonna set your bath, then mom sets your food cause there's a good news to share!!" She squealed joyfully leaping from one point to another.

"I knew it"

"You knew what?" She snapped.

"When you opened the door,the welcoming atmosphere were unusual, together with long forgotten smiles of joy plastered on your Face. I knew something was cooking up,now tell Papa what's the good news?" He asked exposing his white sets of teeth.

"I'll tell you after you must have freshened up,so now get up"

"But..."

"No buts papa" she pinned his lips then dragged him out of the chair and pushed him into his room before retiring to the kitchen to join her mom.

Zack Rowland underground Mansion

Zack was seated on a stool inside his room. He was smoking vigorously and drank whiskey in accord. He was shirtless,putting on only a black pant. Sweats dripped from his exposed, tattooed skin.

On a bed a young teenage girl of about sixteen to seventeen was groaning silently on his bed. She was in deep pains ,some prints of blood were on her exposed thighs while some stained the white bedsheet. Her groans increased and Zack remembered her.

"I've told you leave my room" he ordered her in his thick, mascular voice.

The girl tried lifting herself but her legs failed her, she fell back to the bed and started crying.

"Please pardon me Master,I can't stand properly" She pleaded but Zack paid deaf ears to her. She felt serious pains especially on her thighs cause of the rough way Zack handled her when he was having his way through her.

Zack was ignorant of what was going on with her, he dropped his cigarettes, pulled off his pants and climbed on her. She begged him but he was adamant and was focused on what he wanted to achieve from her. She began screaming for help but he punched her mouth,blood dripped out of them and she shut them up.

He forced himself into her and began riding furiously on the weak girl, she tried to fight him off but she couldn't. She tried to keep her eyes open but she couldn't,she blacked out.

He cared less and continued riding on her till his satisfaction came. He got off her dead body and made a call.

"Come over to my room, there's a trash I want you to dispose right now" He ordered.

"Yes Master" The voice replied and the call ended.

He was about dropping his phone, when a message popped on his screen,he opened it, It reads:

"HEY ZACK, THERE'S AN APPOINTMENT. LET'S MEET AT ORLANDO CRYSTAL HOTEL BY 7 PM. THERE'S AN URGENT DISCUSSION,I WILL BE EXPECTING YOUR ARRIVAL."

When he was done reading it,he dropped his phone on his bed and rushed into the bathroom to have a quick bath. When he was out,the girl's body was already disposed and the bedsheet was replaced with another one.

He grinned with an evil instinct,he went over to the drink bar and drank half bottle of alcoholic wine before proceeding to get dressed.

He opened his wardrobe and picked out a simple outfit of a rigged short jeans,a net singlet,a white sneakers and a face cap which he wore backwards. He wore a golden necklace made of pure gold,a wrist watch and applied some sprays of perfume before dashing out radically.

All heads were bowed as he entered his Lamborghini and zoomed off.
