Chapter 1 The Mysterious Delivery Girl

WHEN LOVE WHISPERS

Chapter 1: Highlight Club (7:30 PM)

A lady's bike was parked in front of Highlight Club. Ariel removed her helmet and flipped her hair, which caught the attention of some guys outside the club. They started drooling over her. She placed the helmet on top of the bike and got down. She picked out the cake from her delivery box and walked inside the building.

Once inside, she brought out her phone and checked the picture of the person she was supposed to deliver the cake to. Tyler was sitting between two girls and two of his friends. "Did you promise to give me one of your cars?" the girl on his left side asked, resting her head on his chest.

"I promise to give you, babe," Tyler replied proudly.

Ariel finally reached where Tyler was sitting. "Are you the one named Tyler?" she asked, showing him the picture on her phone.

"Yes, what can I do for you?" he asked.

"Alright, I was asked to drop this cake and letter for you," she replied, handing them over to him.

"Who was it?" he asked.

"I was told not to tell you; that you would recognize the person as soon as you read the letter," Ariel answered.

Tyler opened the letter and read it. "'I'm done with you, you motherfucker. That's a cake to celebrate our breakup.'" Tyler read out loud what was written inside and smiled. "I'm single again!" Tyler shouted, feeling happy.

Everybody inside the club shouted, celebrating with him. "What? How can someone be happy after being served breakfast?" Ariel thought in her mind.

"Woah!" Everybody inside the club shouted.

"Congratulations, dude!" Gideon congratulated him.

"Thanks, buddy," Tyler replied with a smile.

"Can I take a picture of you with the cake to show that the cake has been delivered?" Ariel asked.

"Sure," Tyler replied.

Tyler picked up the cake, and they took a picture of it with his friends, all smiling.

"Done," Ariel said and left.

"I'll be back in a minute, guys," Tyler asked for an excuse as he went chasing after Ariel.

"Hey, delivery girl!" Tyler called out to her, and she looked back.

"What can I do for you?" she asked.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Why are you asking for my name?" she asked, confused.

"I just want to know you better," Tyler responded.

"I can't tell you, okay?" she said.

"Okay, give me your phone number," Tyler asked for her digits.

"No," she replied sharply with a smile.

"I just want to call you, huh? I like you already," Tyler confessed.

"I hate you," she muttered and got on her bike, putting on her helmet.

"Please, just give me," Tyler begged.

She turned back to him and brought out her middle finger, which represented "F**k you."

"What?" he said, lost for words.

Ariel kicked her bike and zoomed out of the club.

"I will make sure I get your number," Tyler said and went back inside.

The Roberts Mansion (9:00 PM)

Tyson was inside the living room watching TV when the doorbell rang. He got up and went towards the door. He checked through the camera and saw that it was Tyler at the door. He opened the door, and Tyler came in.

"Hey, bro," Tyler said, and they made a handshake.

"What's up? What happened in the club today?" Tyson asked.

"I really enjoyed myself," Tyler replied, and they both sat down.

"A hot delivery girl came to deliver a cake to me; the cake was from my girlfriend, sending a message of her breaking up with me," Tyler explained.

"Don't tell me that girl broke up with you? Though I'm not surprised," Tyson said.

"Yeah, but I will soon get another one," Tyler said proudly.

"How sure are you?" Tyson asked.

"The girl that came to deliver the cake was a beautiful hot chick; I really like her, and I asked for her number, but she refused. I'm sure I will get her number at all costs," Tyler said.

"Don't take any stupid movement again, because I don't want to be mistaken as you again, okay?" Tyson said and left for his room.

"Okay, I'm just really tired," Tyler said and lay down on the couch.

Chapter 2 Ariel's Daily Grind

WHEN LOVE WHISPERS

Chapter 2

(Ariel's Apartment, 9:30 PM)

Ariel opened the door to her small apartment, entered, and fell onto the bed. "What a long day," she said to no one in particular. Her stomach growled, and she added, "Oh, I'm really hungry since I haven't eaten anything since I left home this morning."

She stood up and tiptoed to the kitchen, where she prepared a small dish for herself. She was the type who didn't have friends since she was always busy with work.

(Ariel's Apartment, 6:00 AM)

Ariel yawned, covering her mouth with her hand, and opened her eyes. "Another beautiful day ahead," she said, stretching out her hands. She stood up and went to brush her teeth and take a bath. She was done with everything within an hour. She took her bag and went out of her apartment, making sure it was locked before she left.

"Good morning, ma'am," Ariel greeted the landlady with a bow.

"Morning, Ariel. Are you leaving for work?" the landlady asked.

"Yes, ma'am," she replied.

"Such a hardworking beautiful lady. I wish I had a son to marry you," the landlady said, and Ariel smiled. It was a statement the landlady usually made whenever she saw Ariel.

"Goodbye, ma'am," Ariel said as she left.

She went to where her ladies' bike was parked, kicked it, and zoomed out.

(The Roberts Mansion, 7:30 AM)

The family was inside the dining room, ready to have breakfast. Valerie walked in, already in her uniform. "Good morning, Dad," she said, pecking her father on the cheek.

"Morning to you, my beautiful mom," she said, pecking her mother also. "And then to you, my Morning Star," she said, pecking Tyson before sitting down.

"What about me?" Tyler asked, pointing to his cheek.

"I can't let my mouth be contacted by diseases because different types of girls have... don't let me say it," Valerie said, feeling disgusted.

"How dare you say that? You're just rude like your brother. That's why you aren't dating any boy," Tyler said.

"Point of correction, many boys always come towards me wanting to date me, but I don't have time for that. And the word love is just a scam," Valerie clarified.

"Such a smart girl, kudos to you," Tyson said, giving her a thumb up. Valerie smiled at him.

"Where did you learn all this from, Valerie? Love isn't a scam, okay? Your father and I wouldn't have gotten married if we both believed love was a scam, let alone producing you," Mrs. Roberts explained to her daughter.

"Okay, mom," Valerie muttered.

"Tyson?" Mr. Roberts called.

"Yes, Dad," he answered sharply.

"No club tonight, okay?" his dad told him.

"But why, Dad? What about Tyler? I didn't even attend the club yesterday, but Tyler did," Tyson said, feeling down.

"Tyler is allowed, but not you, okay? The last two days' incident is still yet to take off," his dad said.

"Don't worry, Morning Star, I'm here for you," Valerie assured him.

"I don't know you anymore, Dad. I'm so disappointed in you," Tyson said in a funny tone.

"Love you, son," his dad said with a smile.

"It's gonna be lit," Tyler said, stretching out one of his hands, which made Tyson even more annoyed.

(Helen's Baking World, 12:00 PM)

Ariel got down from her bike and entered the restaurant, walking towards the attendant.

"Good morning, miss. How can we help you?" the attendant asked.

"I'm Ariel Delivery Service. I'm here because I was called to deliver something," Ariel explained.

"Oh, that's true," the attendant said.

The attendant brought out the pizza, well-packed in its box, and gave it to her.

"Okay, what about the location?" Ariel asked, and the attendant gave it to her.

She went out of the restaurant and checked the address, which was given to her. "Golden College," she said to her amazement. "I finally got a chance to enter the building."

She smiled, really happy because it was her dream college, which she wished to attend but only rich children got the chance to attend unless they were given a scholarship.

She placed the pizza inside her delivery box and got on her bike before zooming out.

Chapter 3 The Golden Ring

WHEN LOVE WHISPERS

Chapter 3

(Golden High, 1:00 PM)

Valerie and her classmates were inside the class, chatting and murmuring since they were in a free period. Noelle, her best friend, came towards her.

"Hey, Bestie?" Noelle greeted her.

"Hi, why are you here?" Valerie asked, because it was unusual to see her coming to her seat, as she was always with her boyfriend.

"Haha, don't you want me to come to your seat?" Noelle asked sadly.

"Not that, it's just that you're always around Charlie," Valerie replied.

"Hmm, what can I do for you?" Noelle asked with a smiling face, which looked suspicious.

"Doing something for me? That's also unusual of you. Behaving like this looks like you need something from me," Valerie said.

"Not at all, trust me," Noelle said.

"Get straight to the point; I'm going to the restroom," Valerie said.

"Okay, did you promise to do it for me?" Noelle asked, raising her forefinger.

"If I'm capable, just tell me what it is," Valerie asked in a hurry.

"Okay, Jayden said he likes you," Noelle confessed.

"Lolz, I'm not interested," Valerie responded sharply and stood up.

"It's not like he wants to date you; he just wants to go on a date with you," Noelle said.

"Still the same; I'm off to the toilet," Valerie said and walked out of her sight.

"Silly girl," Valerie muttered and went back to her seat.

(Roberts Mansion, 4:00 PM)

Tyler was inside the sitting room on the couch, watching TV with a bowl of popcorn in his hand.

"Go ball!" He shouted. "Ronaldo plays ball just like me, men; that's my guy," he said proudly to no one in particular.

"Just stop deceiving yourself; Valerie even knows how to play ball more than you," Tyson told him, making fun of him as he walked into the living room. He sat down and collected the popcorn from Tyler's hand.

"That was back then, not now again," Tyler clarified.

"Just give me the remote," Tyson said, and Tyler handed it over.

"Wait, wait, where are you switching to?" Tyler asked.

"Golden Channel; I want to check if they will showcase what happened in school today since we both didn't go," Tyson answered. Golden Channel was a channel showcasing everything about Golden, including their schools, hotel, companies, and other buildings owned by The Roberts Family.

"Alright," Tyler said.

Tyson switched to Golden Channel, and a news segment was on about Golden College, so they left it on.

On TV, "A young lady just found the golden ring that was lost by the owner of Golden College some few weeks ago. Let's take a look at the lady who found it," the News Anchor said and moved closer to the lady.

"What's your name, miss?" the News Anchor asked.

"I go by the name Ariel," Ariel replied.

"Wow, such a beautiful name," the News Anchor said.

"Thanks; wait, am I on the news?" Ariel asked surprisingly, and the News Anchor nodded.

"Wow, hello everyone?" Ariel said, waving her hands through the camera.

"So, how did you find the golden ring?" the News Anchor asked.

"I was so surprised because I didn't expect to find something like this. I just came here to deliver some stuff, and just when I was going back, I found something sparkling on the ground. So, I had to pick it up, and there I found out it was a golden ring. I then decided to let the school authority know," Ariel explained.

"So thoughtful of you. So, what would be your expectation since you were told that the golden ring belongs to the school owner?" the News Anchor asked.

"Hmm, actually, I will be so happy if they could just help me in any way. But I just wish they could give me a scholarship because Golden College has been my dream college since I left high school. But I was unable to do that because I was an orphan, so I don't have any other choice than to engage in this delivery job," Ariel said.

"I like the way you took those steps, because some girls outside there are misusing their lives just to get money," the News Anchor said.

"Thank you," Ariel said.

"So, Ariel, our golden ring finder, has already spoken her mind. I hope her request will be considered. My name is Addison Charles; see you again next time," the News Anchor said.

The news ended, and they returned to the house.

"I finally got it!" Tyler shouted, standing on his feet.

"What's gotten over you this afternoon?" Tyson asked curiously.

"Do you remember the delivery girl I told about yesterday?" Tyler asked and he nodded

" That was the same girl that found dad's golden ring" Tyler said

" Seriously?" Tyson asked happily and he nodded

" I finally got her name, just remain her phone number. I must do everything in my capacity for dad to give her the scholarship she requested for." Tyler insisted.

" I don't think dad will, you could remember that some students were rejected because the students in the school were already too many" Tyson remind him.

" Oh, that's true, but I will try to convince dad" Tyler promised

" Best of luck" Tyson said with a thumb up.
