I was busy checking myself in the mirror, I think I looked great wearing this green mini-dress, it made my slender legs look longer then they originally are, my long blonde hair with green highlights which reach till my waist, swinging right and left as I move, my fair skin a little red due to heat, my blue eyes sparking in contrast to the green dress I was currently sporting on ... well honestly as a doctor, I hardly get time for myself but today is exceptional.

My main priority has always been the treatment of my patients and about learning new things everyday as everyone knows "Knowledge is Power".

Sara ... Sara are you done in there??

I heard Ava shouting ... well Ava is my best-friend, we got to know each other when I joined medical college, and she is a student in nursing whereas I'm in doctoral. We still have 1 year left to complete our trainings.

I'm done honey I replied back, while walking out of the changing room.

Ava was standing right outside the changing room, waiting for me, when I stepped out, she looked stunned...

Okay birthday girl ... I will do as you say, after all it's not every day that we get to party out, I have no idea how you convinced my mum for allowing me to party out at night, but since we have the chance then let's party hard, and enjoy to the fullest I said we full spirit.

After grabbing the shopping bag we made our way to the parking lot.

Be there in time Ava said while opening her car, the party will start at 9pm, but you should be there by 8 at least since you will have to change plus my boyfriend and his friends are also coming ... I want you to choose one of his friends as your dancing partner tonight sweetie. I was thinking of making Mark, Sid's bestfriend as your partner ... he is really good looking. Anyways I don't know about his rest of the friends, I haven't met them yet so I think Mark is the right choice!

After reaching home, I put the bag that had my dress for the party tonight in the car while grabbing the rest of the bags and locking up the car. As I opened the door of my house, loud music greeted me.

It's not like what you guys may be thinking that my family is old fashion since they don't allow me to wear mini dress or revealing clothes, it's just that my fiancé is kind of too overbearing and he doesn't like me to wear it, so my parents, no actually only my mum said that since me and Ethan have decided to get married, I should abide by his rules now...

I mean come on, at times I do feel that I'm being caged and that feeling makes me feel very annoyed but Ethan always manages to make me give in with his sugar sweet coated words.

I just can't get angry at him ... Its maybe because I love him or it's because we are best friends from childhood till now and that he understands me too well and most importantly knows how to sweet talk me into doing things against my will at times. He is older than me by 2 years, but still he acts more childish than me... We started dating in high school, it was 4 years back. He is not that bad actually, it's just he doesn't like others looking at me too much ... ha-ha

Well I guess I can handle this much since he is hot himself, with his long pair of legs, fair skin tone and his sexy 6 pack abs ... Ahh don't make me mention his hot body.

Well to be honest I never actually imagined to get married to him this soon, we did decided to get married but in the near future when I have completed my studies and actually become a doctor or at most when I'm at least 25 or 26 years ... but I guess he had different plans about us from the start. I was really shocked when he suddenly proposed to me 4 months ago but since we know each other well from childhood plus I love him and he suits my needs as an ideal life partner, I didn't reject him ... and here we are engaged and soon going to register our marriage in just one month. Life is super unpredictable.

Well back to my family: My dad "Mr Jonas" is the best, he adores me too much since I'm they only daughter, and so does my brothers. I'm the only female which makes me the centre of their attention. I have 2 elder brothers.

The elder one is Sam who is older than me by 4 years he is 27, he is a world-famous designer (a free-bird by nature) whereas my Second bro is a little different compared to us, he always abides by rules, manages his time well, doesn't do much fun, maybe because the responsibility of handling our family business is on him now that he always have that poker face to make sure people take him seriously ... well his name is Will, he is older than me by only 2 year, he is 25. It's not that Will is always cold, only with family does he show his emotions.

Lost in thoughts, Sam's voice rang beside my ears - Hello hello candy where are you lost?

He just loves to call me candy since childhood and I call him Sammy, We are really close, we share everything to each other, well basically he knows me the best.

As usually my dad was busy moving to the beats of the music, holding mum along with him.

Ohh here comes my lovely daughter, dad said after seeing me and Sam

As always Sam and I joined dad, that's how it always have been, my family loves to do fun things together. We are a big happy family...

My mum got busy setting the table for lunch after seeing us whereas Will was sitting quietly smirking at the couch watching us...

Lunch is set I heard my mum say.

Come on let's eat, I'm super hungry after all this dancing I said, hurrying to the dining table. I sat in the middle, with one side Sam and Will on the other, talking and laughing with my family, which will change after I get married in one month, just thinking about that makes me really sad.

So what time is the party started, I heard dad ask

At 9 dad ... I replied back quickly while stuffing my mouth with food.

Have a blast dear ... dad said as he looked at me with a smile .... "well I knew what dad was trying to say (I hardly get time for myself, in the past I had to stay at the medical college for studies and now I mostly stay at hospital doing my training plus in just one months later I will get married... I guess I have one months to completely enjoy my so-called boring life."

Make sure to not stay out late, mum said I know I know my dear mum I answered 'laughing'

Oh my dear stop making things difficult for her dad said to mum, she can stay tonight at her friends place.

Relax mum, she is a grown up girl ... stop babysitting her all the time chided in Sam "I knew he was helping me out, which I was extremely grateful for"

Whereas Will only smiled ... "he knew that such small matters doesn't need his involvement"

Of course all males in this house has completely spoiled her to rots retorted mum.

Ha-ha mum that not true I said but knew deep in my heart that it is exactly the case ... "after all I have two lovely and caring brothers and my awesome dad to help me out of everything ... no matter what it is, as far as it involves me."

I left at 7.30pm, my home was just 20 minutes away from Ava's place, so I reached her place before time.

I wanted to bring Sam and Will together with me but unfortunately Sam has a basketball match tonight and Will had a video-conference to attend to ... well even if he had nothing going on, he still won't have attended that I'm sure of. He loves to stay by himself as much as possible, sometimes I do wonder why he has changed so much... he use to be like me and Sam but all of a sudden he became so different, like a whole new person.

I parked my car near Ava's place at the parking lot then got off and walked towards her house, her place was busting with people everywhere even through the party has still 2 hours to start.

Ava's parents were away at a workshop out of the country and her smaller brother is at boarding school, so Ava planned to have the party at her place since it was convenient.

I entered Ava room which was a mess with things scattered here and there and her bed had a pile of clothes on it. 'Don't panic she has been like this since forever'

What's up? I asked Ava as I saw her emerge from the bath-room wearing a cute mini flame red dress.

My sweetie thank god you are here!

What's wrong? I asked, looking at her Ava's worried face.

Oh it's just that the cake is still haven't arrived here Ava replied looking brood

What? The party will start in 2 hours why isn't the cake still haven't arrived I asked

I don't know, they said that some problems happened with the delivery man and they won't be able to delivery it in time ... Ava was in a really bad mood

I looked at her Ava worried face and told her not to worry, I will go pick the cake and will make sure it reaches here on time.

Oh thanks my dear darling Ava thanked with a smile.

Just tell me the address, I said with a playful look

But you have to get ready first before leaving, and make sure to arrive on time for the party even if the cake doesn't come here on time, it doesn't matter as far as my best friend is here.

Ha-ha I will ... chill, I go and get ready quick and leave.

After quickly getting ready, I left in my car towards the cake shop.

Who knew what was waiting for me in the cake shop...

As I parked my car right outside the cake shop, I saw that the shop had a close sign, wtf I said in my mind.

I got off the car quickly as possible when I saw a man in his 30's came out running, I stopped him and told him that I here to collect a ordered cake, and asked for the reason why the cake shop is closed?

He replied back in a hurry that his wife is pregnant, and he needs to rush over to the hospital as soon as possible.

I'm sorry and Congratulations to you on becoming a father but can you please give me the cake first before going, it's urgent or else I won't have bothered you at this time I quickly pleaded.

The man handled me a key and said he will have to trouble me to get the cake by myself and asked me to return the key back to him later. I thanked him, and he quickly made his way to the hospital.

I opened the cake shop and entered it, looking for Ava's birthday cake, finally I found it in the kitchen with another cake just beside it, it looked way great then Ava birthday cake but it didn't had any writings on top on it.

I wonder who ordered this cake, I said in my mind ... "the design of the cake is so unique"

After retrieving Ava's birthday cake, I was just about to open the front door to see myself out when I collided into someone who just entered, the cake went flying whereas I slipped and was about to fall hard on the floor, but at the last moment someone grabbed my waist in time, and I suddenly collided into a solid hard chest instead.
