Chapter 1 Untold Reality

Tina remembered how her friend Prisca came to her house and deceived her into following her to see a friend, claiming that they wouldn't stay long and just for a few minutes.

Prisca begged, "Please Tina, come follow me; let us go see Sharon. I promise you, we won't stay long, just for a few minutes. Please, don't say no."

Tina agreed, and she followed Prisca out of her father's house, and they went to see Sharon.

Prisca knew that if she had told Tina the truth about considering dating Patrick, Tina would not agree. Tina had kept on saying that she didn't want to have a boyfriend. She doesn't want to lose her virginity or disappoint her poor mother, who has been struggling to feed her and her two younger brothers ever since their father abandoned them all and ran away with another woman. Without them knowing his traces or whereabouts,.

As they stepped out onto the village road, Prisca stopped a bike man, and she dragged Tina to enter on the bike with her before Tina would change her mind.

When they got to the said apartment, where Sharon lives with her elder brother, Tina searched the house front view with her eyes, as she felt already uncomfortable and saw a dark man step out of the house, and he walked up to the compound exit gate to meet them.

Tina could feel her heart beating so loudly in her chest as she saw the guy approach them, and he hugged Prisca excitedly as they greeted each other before he left.

Tina became very uncomfortable as she saw the way the guy had stared at her before he left. And she told Prisca, "Prisca. Why don't you just call Sharon on the phone instead of us going into the house? Just tell Sharon that we are outside waiting for her?."

Prisca already knew that Sharon was not yet at home, and she replied to Tina, "No, Tina, we have to go inside the house to wait for Sharon to arrive first."

Prisca ignored calling Sharon again, and she walked up to the front door of the house and unlocked it without even knocking on the door for the house owners to step out.

Tina gulped as she stood aside, staring at Prisca, and she blamed herself for following Prisca and not even knowing the way back to her own village.

Prisca opened the house door to go inside, as the house is a beautiful bungalow house. She pauses at the door and says to Tina, "It's not safe to stay out here alone, Tina. Come inside. It's Sharon's brother's house. Let's wait for Sharon to arrive."

"Sharon, brother, house??" Tina frowned as she repeated Prisca's words. To the very best of her knowledge, Prisca never told her that they were going to Sharon's brother's house. As Tina had thought, they were going to Sharon's family house to see Sharon.

Tina frowned, and she subtly blamed herself for following Prisca; she didn't even know the way back home to her own father's house, and she finally followed Prisca into the beautiful house.

Prisca was thrilled to see Sharon's brother, Patrick Scott, a handsome black man at around 25 years old, wearing just shorts, as he stepped out from the kitchen and into his living room, not expecting to see Prisca.

Patrick's eyes lit up as he saw Tina too. He was just wearing a boxer, and he hadn't thought of Prisca visiting his house with Tina.

Patrick remembered that he had tried wooing Tina several times, all to no avail, as Tina kept rejecting him, and she told him that she was not interested in a relationship.

Prisca immediately rushed up to give Patrick a hug, and this made him fall backward with her, unto the nearest blue couch behind his back, making Prisca sit on his thighs and harden his length as she stared at Patrick sweetly.

Patrick's eyes were rather glued to Tina, who was standing nervously beside his entrance door. As Tina refused to move away from the door, and Patrick used style and excused himself away from Prisca, he told Prisca, "Prisca. Why not sit on the couch? Let me properly welcome you and your friend. She looks so uncomfortable, and I'm still cooking too."

"Okay, Patrick," Prisca replied, and she finally moved away from Patrick's thighs and sat on the couch beside him.

Patrick stood up from the blue couch, as he has about seven blue couches in his living room, and he smiled and walked up to meet Tina, as she didn't want to stare at him.

Patrick remembers how he had tried to woo Tina on his own several times, but she refused and ran away from him.

He had spoken to one of his younger sisters, Sharon Scott, to have him talk to Tina on his behalf. Sharon was attending the same government-owned school as Tina, but Sharon refused.

Sharon was corrupt, sleeping with different men at her teen age of 16 years, as she already looked more mature than her age, even though she was slim.

Sharon bluntly told him, "Me and Tina are not friends, and you don't expect me to be walking with that local champion. So I cannot speak to her for you."

Patrick remembers that he had begged and bribed his younger sister, and she finally introduced Prisca to him. But in Prisca's mind, she thought maybe he wanted a relationship with her.

Patrick remembers that he had seen Prisca and Tina walking down their village road together whenever he was traveling home in his car to see his parents in his village. He was living outside their village and in a nearby city, but his village was different from Tina's own.

Patrick had even asked Prisca, "Prisca, I want to ask you, How about that your fair-skinned yellow friend, that I used to see you and her walking together on the village road?."

Prisca had thought that he was just asking, and she told him, "You mean Tina Praise? Tina doesn't have time for guys or any relationship. So just forget about her. As Tina is always at home taking care of her brothers or doing her home work, I cannot come here with her to see you."

Patrick knew that Prisca thought that he wanted a relationship with her, but he knows that Prisca was a cheat, and she was like Sharon, sleeping with different men for money too.

Patrick didn't bother asking Prisca any further questions about Tina, but he kept giving Prisca gifts to give to her friend too, whenever she visited, and he told her to try to bring Tina around whenever she was visiting his home again to see Sharon, and here she is.

Patrick finally walked up to meet Tina, and he spoke to Tina, "Hi pretty lady, I'm so sorry that your friend doesn't want to introduce us to get to know ourselves better. I'm Patrick Scoot. Come have a seat."

Patrick gestured for Tina to have a seat on one of the living room's seven couches, and Tina remained rooted at the door as she stared at Patrick's face and remembered that she had seen him before. And he was among the guys that had been disturbing her for a relationship.

Tina looked at Prisca's face, but Prisca rather stared away from her in jealousy, as Prisca rolled her eyes away and stared back at Patrick.

Patrick gestured to Tina to have a seat, but Tina still stood rooted by the door, not replying to Patrick, until she heard Patrick repeat, "Have a seat, please."

Tina finally moved away from the door, and she walked to sit on one of the couches in the living room that was closer to the exit door. She was afraid and scared to be in a man's house.

Patrick smiled as he watched Tina finally sit on one of his living room blue couches. As he was still wearing only his boxer and his chiseled masculine chest was bare,

Prisca finally stood up from the blue couch that she sat on, and she walked up to meet Patrick. She held his right arm with both hands, and she told him, "Why not leave my friend alone, Patrick? Let us go inside and enjoy ourselves since Sharon isn't yet home?"

Patrick frowned and stared at Prisca's face. As he knew that he was a rich guy and that he was doing well at his age of 25 years old, As he owned the house, he knew that all Prisca ever wanted from him was sex and money, and he had refused her advances several times, only asking for Tina. Yet Prisca didn't want to give up, hoping that he would date her.

Patrick finally excused his arm from Prisca's hold, and he told her, "No, Prisca, why not make your friend feel comfortable? Let me go inside and get you both some drinks."

Patrick immediately excused himself from Prisca, and he went into his corridor to wear his clothes and to get them some drinks too.

Chapter 2 The Betrayal

As Patrick went inside to get them some drinks, Patrick went to his bedroom first, to wear a singlet top, and to cover up his bare chest, as he assumed probably that was why Tina didn't want to stare at him or speak to him either.

Patrick wore his singlet top first, and he finally stepped out of his bedroom and went to his kitchen fridge to get them some drinks, and as he came back to his parlor, he served them the drinks, but Patrick noticed that Tina was no longer there, as only Prisca sat on his parlor blue couch and stretched her long, slender legs seductively on the couch as she stared at him seductively as he approached.

Patrick frowned as he approached Prisca, who was staring at him seductively, and she smiled and dropped her legs down from the couch. She stood up and walked up to him to collect the two cans of drinks from his hand, and Patrick immediately asked Prisca, "Where's your friend Tina? Has she gone home?."

"No.. I don't think so. Tina went outside to wait for me, as she wasn't comfortable sitting in here with me," Prisca replied, as she collected the two cold can drinks from Patrick's hands, and she said to Patrick, "I have told you, Patrick, to forget about my friend Tina. Tina doesn't like associating with guys, and yet you're still eyeing her over me. I have told you how much I love you, and yet you're still picking on Tina over me. What does Tina have that I do not also have? Check me out now; I'm cute."

Prisca swirled around for Patrick to properly examine her bodily shape and beauty, as she was a brown-skinned lady, and Patrick sighed and said to her, "Look, Prisca, I do not love you, and that's the truth. I love Tina, and I have always been looking for a way to meet with her. Remember that I also requested that you try and bring Tina here, as I really do appreciate our friendship, and I know that you've also been dating several of my friends behind my back, but I kept mute about it, as I just wanted to meet Tina. Please try and understand me."

Prisca frowned, and she said, "Tina won't accept you, Patrick, and that's not why I asked her to follow me here. I truly love you, Patrick, please."

Prisca tried to persuade Patrick again and tried to touch him by his hand, forgetting about Tina, but Patrick refused, and he said, "Fine. I will think about it later, but not now. Let me first know what Tina is doing outside before she gets lost or disappears, or strolls off to the street, as she won't know her way back home to your village."

Prisca sighed, and she finally moved away for Patrick to pass. As she walked back to sit on the couch, she was still holding the two cans of drinks that she had collected from him.

Prisca popped opened one of the two can drinks, and she drank from it, while waiting for Sharon to arrived, as they had something important to discussed about, and just as Patrick approached his parlour exit door to pulled it opened and to stepped out, just then, Sharon arrived from her variants outing, with her two best friends, and she smiled to Patrick sweetly as she stepped into the living room with two of her friends, and as Sharon wanted to greeted Patrick, Patrick immediately dashed out from the house and went out searching for Tina, and leaving Sharon and her two best friends speechless, as he went outside, and he finally saw Tina, where she stood beside his house exit gate, and she was speaking to his security gate guard that was standing there.

Patrick calmly walked up to meet Tina, where she stood beside the gate, and he approached Tina and asked her, "Why're you standing out here all alone?."

Tina stared back at Patrick, but she ignored responding to him as she crossed her arms around her chest, and she didn't even say a word as she stared away from him to the exit gate that was slightly opened after Sharon and her two besties had arrived.

Tina's attitudes clearly irritated Patrick, but he calmed and walked closer to meet her as he touched her folded arms around her chest, startling Tina, who stared at him in shock, and she also glared at him for touching her arms.

Tina released her folder arms, and she stared at the gate that was slightly opened. She wanted to run out, but Patrick immediately caught her, and he pulled her back to his masculine body. As he saw Tina stare at the gate, he quickly knew that her intention was to run out.

"Let go off me!" Tina screamed out, as she was clearly irritated with the way Patrick was touching her, as he pulled her closer to his masculine body and sent shivers down her spine, as Tina had never been with a guy before.

Patrick saw that Tina was indeed cute and beautiful, but she was also stubborn, as she struggled to get her release from his tightly gripped hand.

Tina screamed out, "Prisca!!" But Prisca was still inside the house, and she couldn't hear Tina screaming.

Patrick's gate guard didn't interfere as he saw them, and he went back into his gate house shortly after locking up the gate. Patrick was still holding Tina as he inhaled her sweet blossom scent, and he felt to kiss Tina on her natural pink lips, as he hadn't released Tina yet.

Tina calmed as she felt her heart beating erratically in her chest, from the way Patrick held her by her arms, with her body touching his chest, as Patrick was still in his yellow singlet top and blue short, while Tina was wearing a brown short gown.

Patrick said to Tina, "I know that you're not happy about visiting here with your friend, but that's not why you should be behaving rudely and not respecting your seniors, just because I admire you."

Tina gulped as Patrick spoke to her left ear, and his hot breath fanned the crook of her neck, making her have more goosebumps. Tina said, "Let me go."

Patrick lost all sanity, inhaling Tina's sweet blossom scent, and he felt to kiss her truly, but he controlled his arousal, as he could feel his bulge forming in his shorts, and he replied to her, "Fine, I will let you go, but that's if you calm down at least and give me a little audience. Why are you acting so immature? Ain't you a big girl? Or is this how you truly behave?. Honestly, I really do like you, and I want us to be friends."

"Friends?" Tina asked him, as she stared up to Patrick's face and met his dark, handsome gaze on her, and she saw that Patrick was truly handsome as she gulped. She stared away shyly, and she replied, "Well, I'm sorry, but I cannot be your friend. Beside, ain't you and Prisca friends?. Just leave me alone and let go of me."

Tina got angrier, cussing as to why she followed Prisca to his house in the first place, and knowing the type of friend that Prisca was, Patrick finally released her arms, and he apologized to her, "I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?" Tina asked Patrick as she stared at him again, but Patrick rather smiled at her as he moved away from her, and he said, "Fine, but why not wait inside for Prisca to be through, since Sharon has already arrived, and the sun is too hot now, for you to be standing out here alone?"

Patrick turned to walk back into his house, and Tina thought about Patrick's response to her, and she finally went back into the house with him, following Patrick from behind as she stared at his masculine physique.

Just then, the sun went down and the clouds began to change and gather, like heavy rainfall was about to drop, as the heavy wind blew a cold breeze around. Tina got worried about the sudden change of weather, and she immediately said to Prisca, as she stepped into the parlor, "Prisca, let us start going home."

Prisca ignored responding to Tina, as she was clearly jealous of seeing Patrick go after Tina, and she refused to give Tina any response as Patrick had already gone back into the kitchen while Sharon and her two besties sat discussing.

Tina got angry, as she knew that her mother would soon be at home and that two brothers might be searching for her too, and so she yelled at Prisca, "What's wrong with you, Prisca?!. Come, let us be going home now!."

Prisca sighed, and she finally stood up from the blue couch. She replied to Tina, "I'm not yet going home."

"Why?" Tina asked Prisca, surprised, but Prisca didn't reply to her as she adjusted her black gown, and Tina said, "Okay, if you're not yet going home, at least you can help me with the transport fare, or you can tell me the directions for me to start going back to my house."

Prisca hissed, and she rather walked away from Tina, not responding, as she walked up to the corridor to use the restroom, but Tina immediately pulled Prisca back by her arm as Tina asked Prisca, "What's wrong with you, Prisca? You brought me here, and now, you ain't saying anything as to how we should be going back home?."

Prisca yelled at her, "Just stop it, Tina! Stop it already!. Yes! I brought you here with me as a friend, not for you to come here and be acting up or trying to break my friendship with Sharon and her brother. And please, if you want to go, then go! And don't talk to me again."

Tina's jaw dropped as Prisca rather pushed her aside, and she walked away to use the restroom, while Tina stood speechless and just beside the corridor.

Chapter 3 Abandoned and Crying

Sharon saw all the drama going on between Tina and Prisca, but she hissed and didn't bothered asking them what's up. as she never liked Tina, and she wondered what her brother saw in Tina, which made Patrick disturb her about Tina.

Sharon would agree that Tina was indeed cute, sexy, and very yellow in complexion, but Tina was still local to her, and Patrick finally stepped out from his kitchen and into his parlor, as his house was a mini 2-bedroom apartment that he had bought, and he shared the two rooms with Sharon.

Patrick stared at Tina, who was sobbing, and he saw that Sharon was busy laughing and drinking happily with her two best friends that visited. He got irritated, and he immediately asked Sharon, "Where's your friend Sharon?."

Sharon asked him, with both hands akimbo, "Which of my friends?" and Patrick stared at his parlor wall clock time, and he saw it was already getting late, making him wonder what was taking Prisca time to take Tina back to their village since their village was a little farther away from the nearby city where he lived with his younger sister, Sharon.

Patrick and Sharon weren't the only children of their parents, as Patrick had three other siblings aside from Sharon. And just then, Prisca finally stepped out of the restroom, and she said to Tina, "Let us leave."

But as they stepped out of the house to leave, the heavy wind blew them, and next, the heavy rain started to fall heavily, making Prisca turn back to Tina, and she said, "You see, Tina, we cannot go out in the rain, as we will have to wait for the rain to reduce first or stop before leaving for home. I'm going back inside."

Prisca didn't even wait for Tina to respond, as she turned and went back into the house to continue with her discussion with Sharon and the two friends that arrived earlier. While Tina stood outside by the door, she started to cry, as she didn't want to enter back into the house, even as the heavy rain continued to fall and soak her clothes wet. Tina still stood outside by the door and sobbed.

Patrick finally stepped out again to his living room, as he was done cooking, and he discovered that Tina wasn't inside with Prisca and the rest of the three ladies discussing, and he assumed Tina was still outside. It was already getting dark and still raining heavily, as the heavy rainfall made the night fall quickly.

Patrick ignored the ladies discussing it, and he went out and opened the door. He saw Tina sobbing underneath the little porch in front of his house, and he said to Tina, "Come inside, Tina; it's still rainy."

"No.." Tina refused to move an inch, as she didn't want to enter back into Patrick's house, and Patrick frowned as he went back inside, and he later stepped out to give Tina an umbrella, but Tina refused to accept it, as she said to him, "There's no need for it."

"Take it, and use it to cover up yourself, as you're already wet, and to avoid getting too cold, since you don't want to come inside," Patrick said, and he left the umbrella beside Tina, as he knew that Tina was very stubborn, and he went back into his house, not happy about Tina's attitude towards him, as the heavy rainfall continued, with lightening and thunder strikes, but still Tina stood outside and regretted to herself, "Why today off all days, that I followed Prisca here, that this heavy rain knows that it will fall? ... Mom will already be at home from the market, and she wouldn't meet me at home, and Richmond and Jude might be outside playing or wondering where I might've gone too."

Tina sobbed as the heavy rain continued to fall and increase until late at night.

~~~~
Mama-tina (Tina's mother) was in her market space earlier, where she normally sold her fruits and food stuffs at the village square, and she noticed the sudden change of weather at first, and she knew that it would fall heavily.
Mama-tina immediately packed up all her fruits, and she went back home to her husband's house, where she was still living with her children, even as her husband had run away with another woman since ten years ago. But when she got into the house, she met with only Jude, her lastborn son, at home and sleeping inside the house, as the house door wasn't locked, and she wondered where Tina and her first son, Richmond, had both gone too, leaving only Jude at home.
Mama Tina approached Jude, and she gently tapped on his shoulder to wake him up as she said, "Jude, Jude! wake up. Where's your sister and brother?."
Jude was a 10-year-old boy, and he stirred awake and was happy to see that his mother had returned. He quickly hugged her happily, but he replied with both hands akimbo, "I don't know mom. I had finished eating my food when I saw Aunty Prisca arrive here, and she was talking with Aunty Tina. And later, Aunty Tina said that I should go back inside and sleep if I've finished eating my food."
"Hmm.." Mama Tina frowned, and she asked Jude, "Then where is Richmond?."
Mama Tina wasn't happy that only Jude was at home, but just then, Richmond rushed into the house, and he shut the house door closed before the heavy wind blew, and then the heavy rain started to fall heavily.
Richmond was at his friend's place, named Alex. And he was a 14-year-old guy, and he liked helping Alex's father at his furniture workshop, and he greeted his mother, "Good evening, mom."
"Where's Tina?" Mama-tina quickly asked Richmond, and Richmond gulped, as he didn't know where Tina went to either, as he had left the house earlier with Alex when Tina was still at home, and he didn't know whom visited Tina after he had left the house, nor where Tina went either.
Mama-tina frowned, and she became worried, as she wanted to go out to Prisca's house to search for Tina since Jude had mentioned to her that Prisca was visiting them, but just then the strong wind blew and the heavy rain increased.
Mama-tina cursed, and she paced about in their old-looking parlor as she went back inside, hoping that nothing bad had happened to her only daughter, Tina. She finally went back to the kitchen to sort out their evening meal since it was already getting late, and she remembered that a neighbor of hers had warned her before to monitor Tina's movement with her friend named Prisca. Prisca was always visiting them whenever she wasn't around, and Prisca was known to be corrupt and hang out with different guys. But she had thought Tina was already disciplined enough, and she never took their neighbor's warning seriously. She thought there was no need to tell Tina not to make any street friends, and now she was regretting not warning Tina against Prisca or confirming what their neighbor had gossiped to her about Prisca to be true.
~~~~

The heavy rainfall continued to fall until dark nights, and Tina was still standing outside in front of Patrick's house, and she was soaked wet and shivering in the frontage due to the cold as the rain finally gradually reduced.

"If only I had known my way back home earlier, I could've trekked home to our village the previous time that I stepped out at noon, when the sun was still out and shining brightly before the rainfall started," Tina said to herself, as she shivered, and she stood out in front of Patrick's house, and just then, she saw a car drive into Patrick's compound and park, making her become scared as she used her right palm to wipe off her face from rain drops away from her eyes, and she saw the driver switch off the front-lights, while fears gripped her, as she didn't know who was in the car.

Tina continued to stare at the man worriedly as she saw the man answering a phone call in his car, and just then, Tina heard Sharon's voice and her two best friends voices echoing and laughing out as they stepped out from the house behind her, and they cussed seeing that the rain was still showering.

Tina saw that they had already dressed in a new, hot-looking short gown that was different from the initial gown that she saw them wear before, at noon, as they looked like they were now going out for a party.

To Tina's shock, she also saw Prisca tagging along with them, and Prisca too had changed her black gown into a seductive red short dress. Tina quickly rushed up to meet Prisca and to confirm if they were already going home, and probably the driver in the car was a good Samaritan who wanted to take them home, but before Tina could even approach Prisca and open her mouth and ask Prisca the question, Prisca immediately yelled at her, "Where do you think that you're going too, Tina?! With that soaked-up body of yours? Please move backwards, as you're not following us, not to talk of soaking someone's car with such a wet, dripping body," Prisca added, and Tina frowned, as she couldn't understand Prisca's recent behavior toward her.

Tina became utterly embarrassed, and she gulped down all she wanted to ask Prisca as Sharon laughed out and stared at Tina, and she saw the umbrella in Tina's hand. Sharon walked back to meet Tina, and she collected the umbrella from Tina's hand as she said, "Don't be annoyed, Tina; kindly borrow us this umbrella. Aw, this umbrella even looks like mine, which I have been searching for inside."

Sharon glared at Tina, but Tina didn't respond to Sharon, as Tina was still shocked by Prisca's statement to her. Sharon immediately took her umbrella and walked away. She opened it to cover her head, and she walked back to the car. While Tina finally snapped out of her daze as she saw the four ladies wanting to enter the car,.

Tina immediately rushed up to meet Prisca again, and she asked Prisca, "Wait, Prisca. What do you mean by I cannot follow you? I thought we were already going home?."

"No, Tina, Sharon, please wait for me, and don't yet tell the driver to go." Prisca said, as she turned to face Tina, and she stood beside the car and said, "Well, you see, Tina, that I have changed my clothes, and what does that tell you, that I'm going out and not yet going home? And beside, it's already late now, and I will soon be back. So why not go inside and wait for us to return first? When I return, then we can start going home."

"But.." Before Tina could speak a word, Prisca immediately rushed back into the car, and she shut the car door closed, not waiting for Tina to respond, as she saw the car driver start the car, and Tina stood outside the house crying as she watched the car driver drive out of the compound, leaving her all alone and standing outside in front of the house.
