Vengeance of the Underground Heiress

Author: : rabbit
Genre: Billionaires
My brother and boyfriend hated me. They accused me of bullying Thalia Butcher by relying on my status as the Marsh family's heiress. To get revenge on me, they found more than a dozen beggars to ruin me on the night of my birthday party, even poured me with sulfuric acid. They live-streamed the whole thing across the entire network. I lost my mind and dragged them all down with me to die. When I opened my eyes again, I had gone back four years. Their goddess Thalia Butcher was splashing water on herself. She threatened me. "What if I went to your brother and boyfriend and told on you like this? What would they do to you?" I grabbed Thalia Butcher by the hair and shoved her face hard into the toilet bowl. "Getting your clothes a little wet, what kind of bullying is that? This is what bullying looks like!"

Chapter 1

My brother and boyfriend hated me. They accused me of bullying Thalia Butcher by relying on my status as the Marsh family's heiress.

To get revenge on me, they found more than a dozen men to ruin me on the night of my birthday party.

What would they do to you?"

I grabbed Thalia by the hair and shoved her face hard into the toilet bowl. "Getting your clothes a little wet, what kind of bullying is that? This is what bullying looks like!"

I died on the night of my birthday.

On my birthday, my brother forced drugs into me. He made me endure more than a dozen beggars ravaging me in front of the live-stream camera.

After it ended, the crowd burst into my room.

My boyfriend Matthew Walton said. "The Marsh family heiress has such a messy private life. I wouldn't dare marry someone so loose."

The crowd cursed me.

"She bullies others and isn't even proper. A bitch like that deserves to die."

"She thinks she's untouchable because she's a Marsh miss. She got what was coming to her."

"A scum like that is just wasting air by living. Go die already."

The curses stabbed at my eardrums like needles.

After all the torment, I lifted my head. I saw Thalia right away. She was nestled in my boyfriend's and brother's arms. She smirked at me in provocation.

Rage exploded in me. I set fire to the entire villa and took them all down with me.

When I opened my eyes after death, I found myself back four years.

Thalia was turning on the faucet. She poured water over her clothes.

She looked at me with arrogance and said. "Guess what. If I went to your brother and boyfriend looking like this and told on you. Would they make you kneel and apologize to me?"

Her vicious face was so clear in front of me. I understood then.

I had been reborn.

Thalia saw me frozen in place. She smiled and pulled a vial of liquid from her pocket. "If you drank this stuff and went to sleep with a beggar. Then turned on a live stream. I might just..."

Fresh hatred and old grudges flooded my heart all at once.

I rushed over and yanked her long hair hard.

"Ah!"

In her miserable scream, I shoved Thalia's whole head into the toilet bowl. "Splashing some water to frame me? I will teach you right now what real bullying is."

Thalia twisted her body like a mad dog. Her arms flailed and hit me. But I did not loosen my grip on her hair even a bit.

Thalia's face bubbled in the water. She turned purple from holding her breath. Her words came out as gurgling bubbles.

"Melany... You... This is murder!"

"Did they not say I bullied you? If I did not fulfill your wish, I would seem so ungracious." I let go of her. I watched her gulp down the toilet water in her sorry state. I let out a cruel laugh.

Thalia broke down. She shouted in terror. "Help! Someone come quick! Save me!"

I said coldly. "Who are you yelling for? Looking like that, it would be even better for you to accuse me of bullying you, right?"

This was my private villa. The dozen bodyguards were ones I had hired with a fortune.

Thalia could scream her throat raw. No one would come to save her.

I slammed the door shut hard. I locked it tight.

Thalia twisted her face as she clawed at the door crack. She gritted her teeth and threatened me. "If you do this to me, they won't let you get away with it."

I said without much care. "Did you not always love to accuse me of bullying you? Since that is the case, stay here and enjoy it properly."

With that, I turned and left.

In my previous life, as the Marsh family heiress, I was well-read and polite. I treated people with kindness.

But Thalia framed me time and again. She claimed I insulted and abused her. She said I could not tolerate an ordinary person like her.

Even when I pulled up the surveillance footage, my brother still did not believe me.

Even my boyfriend took Thalia's side.

So in this life, I would bully Thalia for them to see.

I drove back to the Marsh family home. My boyfriend Matthew Walton stood in the yard. He looked restless, as if he waited anxiously for someone.

Matthew saw me. He looked shocked. "How did you come back?"

I curved my lips into a smile. "It is not Thalia. You must be pretty disappointed, huh?"

"Thalia saved your brother's life." Matthew hit a nerve. He grew a bit furious with shame. He reached out to grab me. "Melany, can your jealousy not be so intense?"

In my last life, every time I suspected Matthew treated Thalia differently, he answered just like that.

He even turned it around to accuse me of having too much jealousy.

I only understood when I died. Thalia had not just saved my brother. She also had something unclear going on with Matthew.

Thalia exhausted every scheme to climb into high society. She managed to hook both my brother and my boyfriend at the same time.

But by then, Matthew was already the next heir to the Walton family.

He no longer needed my help to fight off the illegitimate sons in his family.

So Matthew used those methods to ruin me on the night of my birthday party.

All to clear the path to marry Thalia.

I let out a mocking laugh. I turned to my bodyguards and shouted. "Help! Matthew is trying to kill me!"

Chapter 2

As soon as I spoke, the burly bodyguards pounced on Matthew like fierce tigers.

A second later, with a thud, they kicked Matthew hard to the ground!

Matthew knelt on the floor. He panicked!

He put on a loving gaze that slid across my face. He said with fake sincerity. "Melany, I came here just to see you."

I remembered how he ruined me on the night of my birthday party in my last life.

I stepped forward coldly. I aimed a vicious kick at Matthew's groin.

Bang!

He swallowed the pained cry that rose in his throat.

"What's wrong, Melany? Are you in a bad mood?" He gasped and propped himself up. The malice in his eyes turned to gentleness in an instant. "If you need to vent, you can hit me or curse me. It's fine."

I glanced at him. "We're done."

Matthew's pupils shrank. "Why? Melany, don't we love each other?"

"Love each other? Don't flatter yourself."

I said coldly. Then I ordered. "Matthew, the son of Gordon Walton, trespassed on my property and assaulted me. Strip him and throw him out!"

Seeing him stripped and tossed out made me feel much better!

Late at night, my brother called me to his villa.

Thalia was nestled in his arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

I walked over with a sweet smile. "What did you call me here for, Ethan? Are you giving me jewelry?"

Ethan looked at me sternly. "Kneel!"

I straightened my back. "What are you talking about, Ethan? I don't understand!"

Ethan's face hardened. "You had the Walton patriarch's son stripped and thrown out. You bullied my savior by shoving her head in a toilet. Should you not kneel?"

My voice rang out louder. "I'm the Marsh family heiress! Bullying them is their honor, isn't it?"

My arrogance nearly choked Ethan.

He snapped harshly. "Melany, where are your manners? Since you shoved Thalia's head in a toilet and stripped Matthew, I'll have to discipline you on behalf of our parents!"

With that, Ethan took a whip from the butler's hand, ready to strike!

Thalia glanced at me with a provocative look.

Matthew stood nearby. His gaze was dark and unclear. "Melany, when you do something wrong, you apologize. Be good."

I sneered and met Ethan's angry eyes. "You're so eager to protect your little lover. Why not keep her in the Marsh family shrine? She could bow to our ancestors every day to atone for her shameful deeds."

Thalia shifted slightly in his arms. She put on a fake look of distress. "Melany, I know you hate me. But even if you hate me, how could you slander your own brother?"

Her eyes brimmed with tears. She deliberately put on a pitiful expression.

Matthew seemed to defend me, but his words carried hidden meanings. "Melany, I don't know why you're in a bad mood, but you need to know when to stop."

I scoffed. "Can you speak like a human?"

"Enough! Melany, who taught you to be so disrespectful? Come here and take your punishment!" Ethan glared at me. He slammed his hand on the table and stood up!

I saw the disgust in Ethan's eyes clearly. I sneered.

"Mom and Dad are never home. Didn't I learn all my manners from you? If you dare lay a hand on me today, your little lover Thalia will be lying in a ditch by tomorrow!"

Chapter 3

In my last life, Ethan was always stern with me. One misstep, and he made me kneel as punishment.

I always thought that was just his nature.

If I watched my words and actions, becoming the perfect Marsh family heiress, he would be pleased with me.

It was not until Thalia appeared that I saw the truth.

Ethan could be gentle. That gentleness just never belonged to me.

As Ethan and I locked eyes in a cold standoff, my father pushed the door open and returned.

Thalia immediately rushed forward with teary eyes. Her voice choked. "Mr. Marsh..."

But my father gave a distant smile and gently cut off her words. "I will handle Marsh family matters. Please leave."

When only Ethan and I remained, my father's face darkened. He spoke sternly. "Tell me what happened."

Father always cared about appearances. It was the same in my last life.

Even if he burned with anger, he would never punish me publicly.

He would only give a few mild warnings, just as he did with Ethan in my last life.

But in this life, I no longer cared about anything!

I began to take revenge on Thalia without restraint.

I splashed coffee on her face.

I made her tend to every lawn in the estate under the scorching sun.

At a banquet, I tore her dress in front of the male guests and sneered mockingly. "Don't you love to tattle? Go on, do it."

Thalia's eyes flashed with barely concealed hatred for a moment.

But the next second, she reverted to a timid, trembling act and cried as she bowed to me. "Miss Marsh, what did I do to upset you? I'll change right now."

I picked up a glass of red wine and splashed it on her face. "Change? If I told you to die, would you?"

I expected Thalia to run crying to Ethan and Matthew right away.

But strangely, half a month passed without a peep.

Until today, as I applied a face mask, Ethan suddenly pushed the door open. His tone betrayed no emotion. "It's Mom's birthday banquet. What gift did you get her?"

In my last life, Thalia, with Ethan and Matthew's help, performed an elegant ballet at my mom's birthday banquet.

My mom watched with a smile in her eyes and gave her the position of lead dancer in the top troupe.

Meanwhile, I was locked in a cold, damp basement. My nails broke from clawing, and my throat went hoarse from screaming.

Because I missed the banquet and the lead dancer position, my mom scolded me harshly.

In my last life, I was far too naive.

I glanced at him. "A gift? No need. Mom would rather see me than any gift."

Ethan's face darkened. He stepped in front of me. "I've been exhausted lately. Prepare the gift for me."

I scoffed. "In your dreams."

Ethan's eyes flashed with malice. "Melany, apologize to Thalia now while you still can. When the day comes... you'll regret it."

On the day of the banquet, as night fell, I saw Matthew approaching with a menacing air.

I suddenly understood what Ethan's warning meant.

Just as I was about to leave for the banquet, Matthew cornered me in the living room. It was just the two of us, and I felt uneasy. "Melany, don't blame me for being ruthless. You're the Marsh family heiress. Even if you were crippled, you'd live comfortably. But Thalia has nothing. Just let her have this!"

Matthew pulled a gun from his pocket and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

The bullet hit me. My bones cracked with a shattering sound!

The searing pain made my heart skip a beat. Unbridled anger burned in my eyes.

Thalia pushed the door open. Her face twisted with arrogance as she leaned close to my ear and whispered. "So what if you're the Marsh heiress? Your boyfriend shot you for me. Your brother schemed against you for me. Once Ethan holds all the power, how long do you think a cripple like you will last? I'm the true lady of the Marsh family. You're destined to be tormented by me until you wish you were dead!"
