"Runo, have you finished packing your things?" I heard the voice of one of the nuns working in this orphanage outside of my bedroom, so I quickly opened the door and smiled at her.

"Yes, sister," I replied as I pulled my luggage out of the room I had used for nineteen years. I bid my goodbyes to everyone from the orphanage and rode a bus that passed by a terminal, where I'll be riding a cab to my new workplace.

I, Runo Kaelynn Alberona, have been an orphan since I was born. I haven't met any of my parents or siblings; all I have as parents are the nuns and priests caring for the other children, who became my siblings and me since we arrived in this orphanage.

And today is the day I must leave this place since I have already reached the age of nineteen and the legal age to work. I am no longer allowed to stay here. However, I only finished high school and didn't plan to attend college anymore due to financial problems. Hence, the Head-Nun sent me to work as a maid in a prestigious and wealthy family, the Lockhart family. I'll be staying there while working under the supervision of the four Lockhart siblings.

I have made up my mind. While working in that family, I have to earn enough money to start a business. Then, I will have a stable source of income for myself and enough budget to search for my biological parents, who left me in that orphanage nineteen years ago.

Starting now, I no longer have anyone to rely on except myself.

As I reminded myself of that reality, I took a deep breath and stared at the massive gate before me.

"You can do this, Kaelynn!" I cheered myself and pressed the doorbell, not knowing the secrets and mysteries behind that gate when I first stepped into the Lockhart's territory.

KAELYNN's POV

I felt someone pulling the hem of my clothes as I pulled my luggage out of the orphanage's front door, so I turned around and saw the children following behind me, and one of them was yanking my clothes.

"You're leaving, Runo? Why? Please, don't leave. We will miss you, so please don't go." I crouched in front of her and hugged her. I also did the same thing to the other children I had spent the past years together. We were all left by our biological families in this orphanage, which made it harder for me to leave these children behind because I know how painful it is to be left behind.

I wonder if my parents felt the same as I thought when they left me here nineteen years ago.

"Don't worry. My workplace isn't that far from here. Also, I promise that I will visit you as often as possible," I lied and gave the children a faint smile. Honestly, the place where I will be working is too far from here, and I don't know if I could even visit them once I started working as a maid in that family.

Sure, I will miss all of them, too. But I have to do this. I swear I will visit them here once I have earned enough money. It would be better if they were not in this place anymore. When I see this place again, I hope they have all been adopted by a kind and loving family, unlike me, who grew up without anyone who wanted to adopt me.

"Take care of yourself, Runo. Oh, by the way, have you talked with Red yet?" the Head-Nun asked me, and I shook my head as a no. Then, I looked up at my best friend's bedroom window.

"He hasn't talked to me since he found out I'm leaving. Can you please tell him that I will miss him?" I asked for a favor from the Head-Nun, and she nodded.

Once again, I hugged the children and the Head-Nun before I got in the cab. I waved my hand at everyone for the last time and smiled at them, which they answered with hands waving and children calling my name.

I stopped myself from crying as I watched the children calling for me. Before I lost sight of the orphanage, I looked up at Red's window again and saw him standing at the window with a frown, but he still waved his right hand at me, which made me smile as I waved back at him.

I rode three different public transportation for more or less four hours before I reached the cab terminal that could travel to the Lockhart's mansion since the Head-Nun told me it was located up on a hill.

"Sorry, Miss, but my car can't go past here. The road is too steep for it to traverse. I'm sorry, but you'll have to walk from here now. Don't worry, you won't get lost as long as you follow this road, and you will see a huge gate soon," the cab driver informed me, so I nodded and unloaded my luggage before paying him.

"I see. Thank you," I said and smiled at him. He nodded at me, but how weird. He was not saying anything, but he was looking at me as if he didn't want me to proceed to my destination, which gave me goosebumps, so I quickly carried my luggage and walked faster toward the Lockhart's mansion.

I walked for another ten minutes before finally reaching the massive gate the cab driver was talking about. I breathed heavily and panted simultaneously since the road was not a joke. It felt like I just climbed a steep mountain while carrying my luggage, so I was so tired when I reached the top of the hill in front of the mansion's gate.

I stabilized my breathing and stared at the gate once more. From where I was standing, I still couldn't see the mansion because there were a lot of trees in the front yard.

Is this their garden? It looks like a forest inside their fence.

I took another deep breath and looked at the massive gate again.

"I can do this," I whispered before pressing the doorbell. Then, two guards stepped out at the smaller side of the gate and stared at me emotionlessly with a grim look, making me nervous.

"Uhm, good afternoon, Sirs. I'm the new maid that was sent here from Cenan. Here's the letter that was sent to the orphanage. It states there that the Lockhart family was looking for a new maid," I explained to the guards and gave them the letter. One of the guards took the note and verified it. After a few minutes, they let me in, and one of the guards took my luggage from me and told me to follow him, so I did. Aside from that, they did not say anything else, which made me feel awkward.

This place is too quiet.

The three of us walked into the forest-like garden, and when we passed through that, I saw thousands of red roses with a huge water fountain in the middle of the rose garden. And from here, I finally saw the enormous Lockhart mansion. It was covered in white, gold, and red, making the estate look so beautiful, like a palace for a king and queen.

I was astonished at the scenery before me since I had never seen anything as beautiful as this mansion, only in movies or storybooks.

I was so preoccupied with the mansion's beauty that the guard poked my shoulder first to snap me out of my thoughts. I looked at him, and he pointed at the left side of the mansion, where a smaller door was located.

Aww, I thought we were going to use that vast door. Oh, who am I kidding? I came here to be a maid, not a princess.

I sighed as I quietly followed the guard into the mansion using the smaller door. And as soon as we stepped inside, my anticipation dropped significantly. The bright and cozy atmosphere that the mansion's exterior gave off earlier was the complete opposite of what was inside the mansion.

It was so dark in here since all of the windows were covered by thick and long red curtains, which completely blocked out the sunlight, and the only source of light in this place was the massive chandelier in the middle of the ceiling. I looked around the area and only saw the color of red, white, and black.

Then, the guard started walking out of the mansion using the smaller door, leaving me alone. But, it did not take long when a woman in her fifties, wearing a maid uniform, entered the room where I was standing. She looked at me, so I smiled at her. She nodded at me and told me to follow her, so I did.

"My name is Mila. I am the Head-Maid in this house, and I will teach you what you should and should not do," Mila said, so I nodded at her. I felt intimidated by her when she said those words emotionless and strictly.

However, she looks so pretty. Instead of grey hair due to old age, hers are still dark black. Her lips are so red, and her eyes are brown. She may be old, but her physique is still beautiful.

"This is your room," she said as we entered the room near the kitchen and the living room under the giant staircase.

This room is so pretty and spacious! I thought I would be sharing a room with another maid, but there's only one bed in here, so does that mean this whole room is just for me!? Do they provide every maid with a bedroom? How cool was that!

"Just put your belongings here. I will give you a tour of the mansion before I introduce you to the four Lockhart siblings," Mila instructed, so I nodded at her again.

As she said, Mila gave me a tour first, and as we walked around the mansion, she also stated the Do's and Dont's here, so I took note of those; I noticed that there were a lot of dont's from the list. For example, I am not allowed to leave the mansion without permission. Also, I saw the other maids doing their chores, and they were all women, beautiful women, but their eyes seemed lifeless, and they looked so pale, maybe because there was no sunlight entering the mansion.

After Mila toured me around the mansion, we stood in front of a wooden door with an intricate design.

"Come here, and I will introduce you to your masters," Mila spoke, and I started feeling nervous, so I swallowed hard before nodding my head at her. Then, she knocked on the door.

"Come in, Mila," we both heard a man's voice from the inside; then Mila opened the door and bowed her head, so I quickly did the same thing, and when I looked up, I saw the four Lockhart siblings.

"You may sit here, Miss Alberona," the man with reading glasses spoke, so I nodded and sat on the solo sofa right before the siblings and Mila quietly left the room.

"I am the eldest son, Daryl Lockhart," the man with the reading glasses introduced himself.

He's so handsome and cool! He also looked a bit strict, so I guess he's the businessman among the four-the one who will inherit their family business.

"These are Danrious and Daniel," Sir Daryl spoke and pointed at the twins, who just gave me a peace sign. But their expressions looked uninterested, but they were still my boss, so I just smiled at them. I looked at the twins again, specifically at their eyes, which looked like there was a lot of meaning from how they looked at you. Also, they both looked so identical.

So, how am I supposed to know who's Sir Danrious and Sir Daniel?

"The one with the hair swinging to the right side is the eldest, Danrious, and the one to the left side is Daniel," I was shocked when Sir Daryl answered my question in mind.

Can he read my mind?

While thinking to myself, someone pulled the hem of my clothes, which startled me and snapped me out of my thoughts. And when I looked at my side, I saw the cutest thing in the whole world.

"And he's the youngest, Darenn. He's still three years old. He's stubborn and mischievous, so please take care of him properly, okay?" Sir Daryl said, and I nodded at him. Then, I looked at Sir Darren again. His eyes are so big and round, and his face looks so innocent, which makes him look cuter.

I couldn't contain myself anymore, so I tried to reach out my hands to carry him, but he quickly bit my right hand and ran away from me. Then he turned around and stuck his tongue out before leaving the room. My eyes widened at what Sir Darren did to me while the twins laughed at me. I felt a sting in my hand, so I looked at it and saw a bit of my blood flowing out of the wound from Sir Darenn's bite.

"Ouch," I muttered as I pinched the wound to let the blood flow out so I could clean it properly. But, while I was so focused on my injury, I felt the atmosphere become heavy, and when I looked at Sir Daryl, he was looking away from me. And when I looked at the twins, I saw Sir Danrious approaching me while Sir Daniel was grinning.

"Let me see," Sir Danrious said, and I was shocked when he grabbed my hand while staring into my eyes. He grinned at me, which gave me goosebumps. Then, all of a sudden, he licked my blood from my finger. Fear quickly crept into my whole being, so I immediately pulled my hand from his grip and hid my hands behind me.

"Ah, I'm alright now, Sir. I-I'll go now and take care of Sir Darenn. Excuse me," I hurriedly spoke and ran out of the room, where I saw Mila waiting for me outside.

"Come. You should go to Sir Darenn's bedroom now," Mila instructed, and I nodded at her.

While we were walking to Sir Darenn's bedroom, I still couldn't forget what Sir Danrious did to me earlier and how they looked at me when I got injured.

Those twins are giving me goosebumps and bad vibes, so it would be better for me to avoid them. But they're still part of my job here. I was hired to take care of them and obey them. It would be easier to avoid those two if I was assigned to the kitchen or cleaning the house, but it was their decision, not mine.

That scenario made me feel nervous and scared, making me wonder if I could do this job.

Wait, Kaelynn! You just started today, and you're giving up already? This cannot be! I have to endure it. I can do this!

Inside the room where the three Lockharts are staying

"Hahahaha! Well, well, well! Your s*x appeal didn't work in our new maid, Rious, hahaha!" Daniel laughed at his twin.

"Idi*t! If my s*x appeal didn't work on her, yours would not either! We're twins, remember!? She's just shy, Niel. Just wait and see. She'll give in to us sooner or later," Danrious replied, and the twins grinned happily at the thought of their new toy.

"Stop that, Danrious! Daniel! It's hard to look for a maid that will take care of Darenn, so don't do anything yet to that new maid," the eldest son, Daryl, spoke while reading a book.

"Tsk! No fun!" Danrious spoke in a bored tone and sighed.

"Psh! Such a killjoy. Come on, Rious, let's get out of here," Daniel said, and the twins left the room.

Daryl sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose as he shook his head in disbelief.

"Tsk! That was close! Her blood smells good,"

KAELYNN's POV

After leading me here, Mila left because she had a lot of work to do, and now I'm stuck here with no idea what to do first.

I knocked on Sir Darenn's door and waited for an answer, but I didn't get one, so I went inside his room and looked for him inside. I couldn't find him.

"Sir Darenn?" I can't seem to find him in this place. His room is cluttered with toys, including plush toys that are life-size, and it is also somewhat gloomy, neither of which is ideal for a child of his age.

"Sir Darenn?" I called him again, and it appeared that he was interested in playing a game of hide and seek. I flashed a grin and then had a thought.

I turned my back to the wall and started counting.

"One two three four five!"

"Six seven eight nine ten! Whether you're ready or not, I'm coming!" After turning around to look for him, I was taken aback when I realized that he was already there, standing still and frowning while he glared at me with a chilly expression in his eyes. This look is not suited for a child as young as he is.

"Sir Darenn, you need to hide. We're going to play a game." He tilted his head a little as if asking a question.

I kneel in front of him even though I'm a bit scared of him, thinking that maybe he's a ghost or a live doll. You can't blame me, he's room, and he himself is creepy.

"I thought you wanted to play hide and seek, so I want to join you," I smiled at him, trying my best to erase the fear in me, and I put my arms around his small shoulders.

"Wanna play?" I asked him, and he just creased his forehead.

"Dats not how to play!" I want to make fun of him because he can't correctly pronounce some words, but I'm afraid that if I do, he'll become angry and bite me again, so I've just asked him about it.

"So, tell me, how do you guys usually play?" I asked, and he pointed his finger at the Television. Is that a PlayStation?

"Ah, digital games? But would you like to give another game a shot?" He made a face at me.

"No! I don't like you!" He pushed me, and with his tiny body, he was able to send my butt on the floor.

He's quite strong for a kid.

"Don't you want to play with me?" He didn't respond; instead, he hurried to his bed and wrapped himself in a blanket.

"Kaelynn, let him be. He's sleepy; that's why he's a bit grumpy." When I heard someone speak behind me, I turned around and saw Sir Daryl holding a briefcase, so I stood up and bowed to him.

"He's still awake at this hour, so just put him to bed, " he said, and I nodded.

"How about you, sir? Is there anything else I can do for you?" I asked him, but I was unsure why he kept staring at me, which made me nervous. I dislike it when people stare at me as if they're reading my mind.

"Nothing. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be gone for a while and will return at 4:00 am. And by 6:00 pm, the twins will be at school, and if I were you, I would take a nap now since you'll have to wait for them till midnight." I nodded.

Another odd thing about them is their schedule. Sir Daryl goes to their company in the late afternoon while the twins attend school on a night shift schedule.

Can they still sleep properly?

"If you're thinking if we're still getting enough sleep, the answer is yes. Wake the twins up at 10;00 am. tomorrow. Is that clear, Kaelynn?" He smiled at me, not the type of smile that makes you feel better, but one that makes you feel even more nervous.

"Yes, Sir," I answered, bowing my head, and he nodded before closing the door. And I exhaled some air as if releasing some of my nervousness.

I have a strange sense around this house. There's something wrong here, not just the house; the people here are also odd.

Why do their schedules begin as the sun is about to set?

What? Are they vampires or some kind of demonic spirit?

I shuddered at the thought.

While my thoughts still occupied me, I did not notice sir Darenn, who had already got up from his bed and was now staring at me with a sharp look. I take a seat near him in his bed.

"Your brother asked you to go to bed right now. Do you want me to tell you a story?"

"Don't hab books," he said. I smiled at him and patted his head.

"There's no need for that. I have one here," I said, smiling, then pointed at my head. I helped him lie down, and he turned his back on me.

"Face here, kiddo, I'm going to tell you a story," he couldn't protest anymore because I pulled him to face me and then started my story.

He was initially uninterested, but once I started adding up some actions, you could clearly see the excitement in his eyes.

After three more stories, he falls asleep. I put him into his comforter and silently exited his room.

Mila told me earlier that I needed to fix my things in my room and that I needed to wear my uniform. But as I proceed through the mansion's dark corridor, I stumble across the twins.

"Good afternoon, sirs," I bowed and said hello, but they just stood there, leaning against the door of their rooms, looking bored.

I felt as if they were about to swallow me alive every time I gazed into their eyes. I can't get this strange sensation about these two.

They're terrifying.

"Kaelynn, right?" Wait, who exactly is he? His hair parted on the left side? Ah! Sir Daniel.

"Do you need anything, sir?" I was taken aback when they both wrapped their arms around my shoulders.

"Yes, we have some orders for you," sir Daniel muttered in my ear, and fear crept up inside me. I swallowed with panic and tried to remain calm.

"Yes, sir. What exactly do you want me to clean?" They both whispered in my ears at the same time when I asked.

"You're not cleaning anything, Kaelynn," they both murmured seductively. I want to slap them both, yell for help, and accuse them of harassment, but what then? I'm fired.

"Please, sir, I-I'm begging you, I'll do anything you ask as long as I can do it," I said with teary eyes out of fear.

"Of course, you can do it, and I bet you'll enjoy what we're about to do," Sir Daniel replied while Sir Danrious laughed. What does that mean? Are they talking about that? No! I don't want to! I'm too young for that! Besides, I want to give it to the man I love!

"No! I'm not going to! I'm still a virgin, and I have many dreams in life! Please don't, masters!"

I'm terrified. They wouldn't fire me on my first day, right?

"Pffft"

"Pffft"

And they both laughed out loud in the corridor at the same time.

"Hahahaha! A virgin?" They both uttered the same thing at the same time. They're not just identical twins, but they also speak at the same time, which irritates me.

"You're still a virgin, right? Seriously? Haha!" Sir Danrious asked.

"Kaelynn, what were you thinking? Hahahaha, why did you say you're still a virgin? Hahaha, d*mn my stomach hurts, hahaha," said Sir Daniel, and they laughed their ass out while little me here was still wondering what on earth was so funny about what I said.

"Why? What exactly were you saying? Aren't you going to order me to do that thing?" They both glanced at each other, then laughed again and dragged me into their room.

I was stunned when they threw me on the floor and locked the door.

"Hahaha, it's been a long time since I've laughed as hard as this. Are you sure you're still a virgin?" Why? Is it important that I'm still a virgin? You should feel pleased with yourself.

"Yes, and I'm proud of it," I replied, making them laugh even harder. Actually, I don't get it. Why are they amused when they know I am still a virgin? Do they think I'm an sl*t?

"Okay, fine! You're still a virgin, but that's not what we'll order you about. We're going to ask you to join us in our game." Sir Danrious then pointed to a large screen in front of me connected to a play station.

"See? Aren't you going to have a good time with that? Come on, Kaelynn, why did you think of that? Do you want us to do it with you? What do you think about a threesome?" Sir Danrious added. Wait, Threesome? What exactly is it? Whatever that thing means, it's simply making me angry.

"Stop it, Rious. It appears that our pet is already irritated." I give them a hard stare. What do they think of me? A plaything?

"Tssk, she's here to serve us, and she can't do anything if we do something to her, Niel," sir Danrious stated, smirking and staring at my face intently.

"Did you forget about what Daryl said, Rious? He told us not to touch her since he's sick of looking for another maid to look after Darenn."

Sir Danrious took the seat in front of me. I backed up as he moved closer to me. What are they talking about? Wait for what? What are they going to do?

"I'm tired of being bored! We haven't received any new toys in over a week. Just this once, I promise I won't hurt her." I backed up until sir Danrious, and the wall behind me cornered me.

What should I do now?

"Alright! Then I'll join you." Sir Daniel also approaches me, and Sir Danrious abruptly grabs my hands.

"What are you up to? Allow me to leave!" My knees tremble, and I can't think well due to terror.

"You don't like playing video games? Okay, let's play another game in which whoever can't hold his or her breath loses," Sir Danrious smiled as his grasp on my hands tightened.

"Game?" I'm at a loss for what to do. I noticed they had switched roles; now, Sir Daniel was holding my hands while Sir Danrious was still smirking in front of me.

It's as though I'm up against two demons. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stay here, and I'm not sure what I'm expected to do now. I can't move because they're too strong for me.

And their eyes hypnotize you into doing anything they want you to do.

"Game," Sir Danrious replied as he grabbed my chin and kissed me on the lips, my eyes widening in disbelief as he bit my lower lip and successfully slid his tongue inside my mouth.

I wanted to scream but couldn't, so I struggled out of him, but he gripped my chin tighter and pulled my face closer to his.

I just burst into tears because I felt like they were harassing me, even though it was only a kiss, but this was my first kiss, and he took it from me.

I can't breathe anymore. Danrious kiss is too deep, and he's just staring at my now-crying eyes while kissing me. He deepened the kiss, and it became more violent. I couldn't breathe anymore, so I shook my head and asked for his help, even though he was the cause of my current misery.

"Ha ha-" I chased my breath when he let go of the kiss. I just screamed and cried while they stood there watching me.

"My turn," Sir Daniel replied, and they reversed roles once more, with Sir Danrious now holding my hands.

"You lose Runo; now it's Niel's turn." Are they for real? They're both going to kiss me!? I hate them!

"Stop!!! I don't want to be here anymore!! Ahhh! hel-" Sir Daniel covered my mouth and whispered in my ear.

"Shhh- do you want Darenn to wake up? Besides, no one will help you here. You've been ours since you stepped inside the gates of this mansion, hahaha." My entire body is shaking. I'm unable to move. With Sir Danrious holding me, I'm afraid my arms may snap.

"Game!" Sir Daniel kissed me while I was still struggling to breathe. Unlike Sir Danrious' kiss, he is much more gentle; I was surprised when he did it, but then I noticed him smirking while staring at me. He drew my head closer to him and deepened the kiss.

He's now kissing me forcefully, much like his brother. I'm still crying and have opted to close my eyes rather than watch the faces of these two demons tormenting me.

He let go of the kiss, and I didn't bother speaking anymore; my lips were numb. I did nothing but sit and cry silently.

"So, did you like it, huh, Kaelynn? You expected it to be a passionate kiss?" He laughs, but that doesn't bother me. Your stupid brother has already stolen my first kiss.

Sir Danrious also let go of my hands and sat beside me. "Say what, Runo? Who's the better kisser? Daniel or me?" After what they did to me, how dare he call me Runo?

I lifted my head and slapped Danrious in the face as hard as I could. I had already lost my respect for them.

"That's what you get for stealing my first kiss! Another thing, you have no right to call me by my first name! I'm getting out of here! Jerks!" I get up and dash to my room.

I'm returning to the orphanage. They don't need to fire me any longer because I'm leaving.

While crying, I touched my lips and ran to my room.

If only my best friend Red was here, no one could hurt me like this, if only my sister Mary was here to defend me, but no, I entered this hell alone.
