Chapter 1 Rebirth And Divorce

"Even if you set me up in your bed, Rachel Bennet, you'll never become a real Mrs. Sullivan!" A man's roaring in low made the woman sense the world again.

On the king-size bed, a woman slowly woke up. The first thing she saw was a man pressing her down under him, roughly, or rather, angrily thrusting into her. The man's face was literally called handsome, however was fully covered with fury. His dark eyes were also burning with hate.

The veins stood out on his forehead and his arms as he wrung the woman's slender neck.

As her lungs started screaming for air, her survival instinct kicked in. She raised her hands to her throat, trying to fend off her attacker.

But the man wouldn't budge. Instead, he tightened his grip on her neck, causing her face to turn a deep red, and the pounding of her lower body continued, even into its final, most violent phase. Her vision to blur.

Bam!

The door was thrown open and the butler rushed in. His face paled at the sight before him. The butler reacted very fast as he hurried to the bed and grabbed the man's arm, shouting, "Mr. Sullivan! No! PLEASE! You're killing her!"

"She deserves to die!" The fire of rage was still in this man's eyes and he spit his words coldly.

The man was so strong and in great rage as well, the butler knew that couldn't stop the man, so he knelt by the bed and begged, "Mr. Sullivan, please! If you kill her, your grandma will weep in her grave! Anyway, her mother once saved your grandma's life!"

Grandma?

Hearing the butler's words, Victor Sullivan loosened his grip slightly.

The woman called Rachel grabbed the opportunity to escape his grasp and crawl away. Her back hit the headboard and she stayed there curled in a ball, looking at Victor with wide, fearful eyes.

The butler saw the change in Victor's attitude and tried to dissuade again, "Mr. Sullivan, haven't you decided to devoice her today? After that you can kick her out and never have to see her again! Spare her life for her mother's sake please!"

Victor seemed convinced by the butler's words a bit. He got out of bed, put on his pajamas. When he was done, he turned around and spoke in an icy voice, which made the poor girl shudder in chill and fear.

"Ivan will send you the divorce agreement. Sign and screw out of my house. I don't want to see your face ever again!"

With a final look filled with hatred, he left the room, followed by the butler.

The door slammed behind him, the sound hurting the woman's ears. She covered herself with the bedcovers, still in shock. Her face was deathly pale, her heart fluttering in her chest.

All of this was so overwhelming and shocking that she forgot to even cry.

She lowered her head and to check her body. She was completely naked and dark bruises marred her otherwise flawless skin.

The adrenaline coursing through her veins had dulled the pain until now. But when the worst had passed, Rachel felt that her entire body was sore. She hurt everywhere.

And the most important point was that----THIS WAS NOT HER BODY!

Rachel Bennet... the name which that crude man called came into her mind, following that was wave after wave of memories that didn't belong to her.

She recalled all!

Her real name was Shelia Davis. She was the head of The King Of Hearts, the most powerful hacker alliance. But the people she trusted most deceived her, the one she loved most betrayed her. She was framed and imprisoned, and just after her release, she was poisoned by her ex-boyfriend and his mistress.

But bizarrely, there was another memory in her mind that was completely different----from the life of another person. She's Rachel Bennet, and she was originally a young lady of a wealthy family. However, her mother died of illness several years ago and her father immediately brought his mistress home as well as their daughter who's absolutely illegitimate. She married someone she loved very much, but that person hated her. Yes, the man called Victor Sullivan who had just done violence to her in bed.

So she had come to the conclusion that she had been killed by her scumbag ex-boyfriend and died, but her soul had entered the body of this woman called Rachel.

As for why she could enter this body and why it had Rachel's memories, she did not understand. After all, it was all unexplainable and definitely unscientific.

In any case, this thing had already happened. As Shelia thought everything through, she regained her usual calmness and wisdom.

She carefully examined the memories of the original owner of this body. Rachel was supposed to be a rich girl though bullied by her stepmother and stepsister after her mother's death. She married to a powerful and influential man, but her love for her husband made it instead a knife for him to hurt her.

Overall, she's a good and kind Cinderella, but too soft and timid. Then Shelia thought of something. She turned to the mirror, "Hum, and beautiful of course."

"What can I do now?" Shelia asked herself. She had no way to go back her original life, and she had no idea how long her soul could stay in this body neither. Could she use this body to find out if there has any connection with her original life?

She still had so much unfinished things to do, while so much to avenge. Since God had brought her back to life, it was not a bad idea to use this body to accomplish what she wanted to do, wasn't it?

"Okay. Anyway, thank you Rachel so that I can back to life. For now, I have to take over your life. But in return, I will help you take revenge on those who have bullied and insulted you and take back all that is yours. Shelia Davis is gone. I'm Rachel Bennet now!"

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

The sound startled the new Rachel out of her reverie. A cold voice came from the other side of the door. "Madam, are you inside? May I come in?"

It was then that she realized that she was now still bare on the bed. To start her re-beginning life, the first thing now she had to quickly find herself a dress to put on!

Chapter 2 Alice Gave Her A Hard Time

"Yes, give me one minute."

Rachel couldn't find any women's clothes in the closet. It contained only men's shirts and black suits. From the layout and size of the room, this is clearly the master bedroom. Sure enough, the man had never thought of her as his wife.

She grabbed a shirt and a pair of suit pants and put them on. The pants were ridiculously large for her, dragging on the ground.

She hastily rolled up the bottom of the pants and opened the door. A tall man with a poker face stood there, holding a stack of papers in his hand.

"Ivan. The assistant." Rachel quickly searched her memories and retrieved the man's name.

Ivan Chavez handed her the documents and a pen. His voice was as imperceptible to any emotion as well as his expression, just like a robot, "Mr. Sullivan asked me to bring you the divorce papers. After you have signed it, you may leave the house. I'll walk you out."

Rachel glanced at the documents, recalling what the butler had said earlier. Today was the second wedding anniversary of Victor and Rachel, and also the last day of their two-year of arranged marriage.

The divorce agreement even cooked up in less than an hour? Victor must really hate Rachel.

She took the agreement and started turning pages, signing "Rachel Bennet" neatly wherever it was necessary. She took it no more than 30 seconds, without any hesitation at all.

"There you go," Rachel said, as she returned the papers to Ivan and clicked the pen.

Ivan looked at her in astonishment, eyebrows raised. He didn't expect it would be so easy. When Victor asked him to bring over the agreement, he also specifically instructed that if Rachel did not want to, then Ivan must force her to sign it by whatever means of coercion.

"Don't you read the conditions first?" Ivan said, yet not reaching out to take the papers.

Rachel raised her eyebrows and replied flatly, "No."

"Aren't you curious about what you are getting out of this divorce?" Ivan was frowning now, he felt more and more confused.

Rachel raised up to look at him from hitching up her too loosen pants. She flashed Ivan a smile. "There is no need to read it. I knew that there were two consequences he wants to see. One is that I am in a world of debt and go bankrupt soon; and the other is that I have to leave this marriage without a penny. I am sure Victor had already put together a team of exceptional lawyers. That's not difficult for him."

Ivan's eyes darkened. He took the divorce papers and said, "Mr. Sullivan just wants you to leave as soon as possible without getting any of his assets."

"Well, make sure you thank him on my behalf." Rachel really didn't give a shit about it at all. It was old Rachel that loved Victor, not her.

The horror of what had happened still made her feel horrible. The first thing she saw when she returned to life was being abused in bed by a rough pervert and she almost died. Even if he hadn't asked for a divorce, there was no way she could stand to stay under the same roof with such a terrorist.

Rachel is a person who has life for the second time, she will cherish this life even more, of course she will leave this kind of scumbag man as far as she could.

Ivan's eyes fell on Rachel's neck.

"Would you need I call for a doctor for you?"

With a strong and hard chokehold like that, she didn't have to check to know how red and swollen her neck would be right this moment.

"No, thanks. I'm fine. " she replied, shrugging.

"Then I'll help pack your things." Ivan's tone was back to normal: cold and businesslike.

She nodded and left Victor's bedroom barefoot. She had a long way to go to reach her own bedroom. Victor hated Rachel so much that he didn't even want to bump into her in the corridor, so her room was all the way to the other side of the huge house.

It took her nearly two minutes to get there.

Her bedroom had originally been a storage room, when Rachel moved in, it became her bedroom. She pushed the door open and walked through the narrow doorway nimbly.

The room was really small. It only contained a bed and a dressing table, the furniture was so close together that there was no room to walk around properly.

Rachel didn't have much luggage and belongings. Except for her cosmetics strewn all over the dressing table and a few clothes, she didn't have much else. She changed into her own clothes and stuffed the rest of her things into a suitcase.

"Okay, that's all. I'm leaving now. Goodbye, Ivan! See you...better never again!" She waved to Ivan without turning around as she dragged her suitcase to leave the hall.

"Hey, my dear sister, where are you going?" Suddenly, the elevator doors slid open behind Rachel, and a sharp female voice stopped her. A woman in a business suit came out. Her high heels clicked on the marble floor, the sound crisp and curt, matching her delicate pretending voice perfectly.

Rachel stopped and turned to look at the woman approaching her.

She's Alice, Rachel's half-sister, a veritable two-faced bitch.

Chapter 3 I Will Haunt You Forever

"What you want?" Rachel spoke up coldly and narrowed her eyes. Her instincts told her that this woman's presence at this point, it definitely would not be good news.

Alice walked up to Rachel, blocked her way, and grinned. Her voice was sweet but fake, "My dear sister, are you moving out?"

Rachel rolled her eyes at her, and sneered, "It's been a long while of time I didn't see you. You changed some, ummm, older and sillier? But one thing the same, as awful as you used to be."

Rachel's remark left Alice livid, there were fires of rage in her eyes. But she soon suppressed her anger, changing into an innocent expression again.

"I'm just trying to show you some concern. How can you think of me that way?"

Concern?

That was funny. Ivan just came to mock her and to see her fall.

With a face devoid of emotion, Ivan intervened in their conversation. He reminded Rachel, "Madam, it's time for you to leave. Mr. Sullivan is about to come back."

Rachel knew that Ivan was trying to help her get rid of this troublesome woman, but she also understood that Alice wouldn't let her go so easily. She raised her chin to point Alice and spoke, "I was leaving, then this insane woman on my way. If I want leave, I need to sure this crazy bitch would not bite. Let she move, then I can go."

Ivan was rendered speechless.

Listening Rachel's words, Alice began her act again and to shed crocodile tears, "Rachel, I know you're getting divorced today. I was really worried that you'll be sad, so I left my work early to come to see you. How... How could you say that to me? I'm your sister."

"Shut up! I would rather a dog to be my sister." Rachel quickly distanced herself from Alice, and turned to Ivan again. "Ivan, could you ask her to move out of my way first?"

Ivan felt like headache as he knew Alice's usual tricks, and he even failed to maintain his stern expression for a moment. If he couldn't stop her right away, she would have made a lot more chaos until Mr. Sullivan came back and to watch this catfight of women.

Left with no other choice, Ivan guested to Alice, "Miss Jenkins, please move your steps. Mr. Sullivan would come back very soon. You can wait him in the living room of second floor."

Alice bit her lower lip. Her eyes were fiery with rage at this moment, but they were covered by her bangs. She looked as if about to burst into tears, but she didn't move her feet even half an inch. She just had to wait until Victor came back and then see how hateful and vicious his wife was.

"Ivan, see? I said I would like a dog to be my sister. At least a puppy would know when to stand and go as long as I ask." Rachel said to taunt her.

Hearing this, Alice could no longer hold back her anger. She clenched her fists, and glared at Rachel. She had the urge to pounce on Rachel and tear her apart.

Previously, first with mean words to stimulate Rachel to make her angry or even mad and take stupid actions, which is Alice's usual trick. In the past, she all but wins Victor's sympathy as an underdog, and then makes him disgust Rachel even more.

But today, the roles seemed to be reversed.

Upon seeing Alice was still restraining her anger, Rachel tilted her head a little, smiling to look at Alice as a provocation.

The arrogant smile on Rachel's face broke Alice's last string and annoyed her.

'What the hell is going on? Rachel is usually timid, and she's always obedient and grateful to me. What happened to her? She looks like totally another person today.'

"Miss Jenkins?" Ivan called out; Seeing Alice still did not take any move, his voice held a hint of impatience.

Alice pressed her lips, hiding her suspicions. She got anther vicious plan now, "Ivan, I didn't mean to keep her from leaving. Actually, it's just that Victor asked me to pass on his requirements here."

Both Ivan and Rachel were surprised.

Alice continued. "Victor knew that I was coming here, so he asked me to watch Rachel pack up and leave. He said that according to the divorce agreement, Rachel wasn't allowed to take anything that belongs to the Sullivan family." Alice looked at the suitcase beside Rachel, "So, sister, could you please open your suitcase? I need to check if you took anything that doesn't belong to you."

Rachel frowned at that, "It only contains a few clothes. I don't need anything that belongs to the Sullivans!"

Alice grabbed the suitcase from her and said, "I'm afraid it's not up to you to decide. If you didn't take anything inappropriate with you, why are you so afraid of letting me see the contents of your suitcase?"

After saying that, she straightly grabbed the suitcase and laid it down on the ground then opened it.

Inside it, as Rachel said, there was really nothing valuable but a few clothes.

Alice gritted her teeth. She didn't believe that Rachel only carried several pieces of clothes and nothing else really. Unwilling to let her go so easily, Alice rummaged through the clothes. She insisted that Rachel couldn't have taken nothing with her. In her old style, she would have taken at least a little of Victor's stuff as a memory.

The only contents of the suitcase were Rachel's clothes and cosmetics, and yet Alice kept rummaging through the suitcase for over ten minutes.

"Enough? How many centuries you're going to take?" Rachel glanced down at Alice.

"I'm just following Victor's instruction, sister. It's better to check more carefully in case I neglected something hidden," Alice replied softly and put on a fake smile.

"Fine. Take as long as you want. I don't want them anymore." Rachel shook her head. She felt hurting everywhere on her body. She really didn't want to waste any more time with Alice. Also, she didn't want to wait for Victor to come back and try to strangle her again.

Just as she finished her words, Rachel walked past Alice and towards the elevator and pushed the button. Ivan followed after her.

Ding!

The door opened, but surprisingly, the first thing came to Rachel's sight was a pair of shiny leather shoes. There was already a tall figure inside.
