Unbreakable

"Why did you save me that day?" She asked while looking into his deep blue eyes.

"Should I not ?" he instead asked.

She rolled her eyes. "That's not an answer". she said angrily.

"Listen, don't make me regret it" He said in his usual tone.

"Yeah off course the old manic Phoenix is back". She thought furiously. He rolled his eyes.

"Grrr" Phoenix turned around to look, it was growling. Anna ate nothing since Morning when she was in the ice cream parlor. She felt embarrassed. He looked at her and she was avoiding his eye contact. He opened the car dashboard drawer and took out a packet of kit Kat.

"Here" he gave it to her. She silently took the chocolate and started eating.

"She looks so innocent," Phoenix thought and quickly ran his fingers through his hair trying to avoid his thoughts.

The car's heater's temperature was a bit high and it was directly throwing air in the direction where Anna was sitting, the chocolate gone melted over her fingers slightly. She turned to grab her bag but due to her chocolate dip hands she was unable to unzip it.

"Let me, " He said.

He moved closer from his seat to hers' and started unzipping her bag. Anna's heart rate increased as he was extremely close to her. She was avoiding his touch as his shoulder was messing with hers'. She could feel his breath. He finally unzipped her bag and she was able to get tissue.

"Thanks," She said. He did not reply, she rolled her eyes.

Then he noticed someone on Olivia's doorstep. A man in his mid 30s and there was another man in his mid 40s and a woman, who had slightly resemblance with Olivia.

"She is her mom," she said instantly. "How do you know? He asked.

"I saw her in the picture with her". she replied.

The trio went inside now.

"What you say, should we go ahead and watch?" she asked.

"That's a good Idea if you are okay with a cold?" He was concerned.

"He did care about me ?" she thought.

"Yeah I am okay, let's go" She said.

They both went ahead towards Olivia's door and then to windows.

"Mom please I am not ready". Olivia was crying.

Phoenix was taller than Anna, able to see through the window easily while Anna could only hear what's happening.

"You little brat, there is no more time for you, you have two choices, either you have to accept what I am saying or else I will give the bastard baby of yours to the orphanage". It was Olivia's mother, who was using such harsh words for her own daughter and grandchild.

Phoenix felt his fist tighten, while Anna put her hand over mouth she was unable to believe what she was hearing.

"What are you talking so much about? we will bring her back" said a man in his mid 40s who said something harshly in hindi.

Phoenix hears Olivia gasping.

"No, I will never come, you can't force me Olivia was screaming .

Phoenix took a deep breath.

"You have to come, you are the golden sparrow for me ". It was a third man who was in his mid 30s, he spoke angrily. Suddenly he walked forward towards her and grabbed forearm her harshly

"You have to marry me, " He said.

Phoenix who was unable to understand because of a different language and that's what's going on which was also making Anna furious as well.

"I will kill that bastard". He said while walking towards the door. Anna grabbed his jacket in order to stop him.

Anna Perez

Anna had a secret crush on Phoenix but her crush was overcome by her annoyance towards Phoenix due to phoenix's high Eco and attitude.

"Last night I was busy with football practice. I overslept this morning," said Phoenix while yawning.

Professor Zelda gave him a very disappointed look. "Oh I can't waste my remaining energy over you. you can sit Mr Stever"

Phoenix shrugged and gave the whole class an uninterested look, deciding where to sit. He used to sit alone but today every desk was occupied. Anna had occupied the back seat on which Phoenix used to sit every day. He gazed at her and after taking a deep breath, he went to sit with Anna.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God what on the planet is happening this rude, infamous boy sat with me, is it a real magical day for a witch?" thought Anna.

She looked at him from the corner of her eyes, but he was looking ahead towards the Professor. Taking advantage of the moment and thinking he is not paying attention she decided to look more deeply. He had perfect posture that could beat every girl's heart or skip it. Even while sitting he looked so tall.

"Have you done the examination? or want to look more closely?" He said in a deep voice. Anna got startled that she instantly looked away.

"Listen I don't know what your name is miss, but I think I am not Public property to be examined" He said with a smirk.

"I was not looking at you I was just checking up on your notes" She lied.

"Oh do you think notes were tattooed over my face?" He said while chuckling slightly.

"I said I was not looking at you and do you think I am interested to watch over your pretty face?" She said while talking apathetic.

"At least you accepted I am pretty to you," He said while looking away with no interest.

"I did not" Anna snapped. He opened his mouth to say something but Professor Julia called upon them,

"Miss Perez, would you mind telling us the name of an American biochemist, the 5th chancellor of the University of California?" She asked so suddenly that Anna was shocked.

"Don't know?" Snapped Professor Julia. "You might have known if you have pay proper attention over lecture instead, arguing over some I am sure stupid thing with Mr. Stever" Said Professor Julia said with Sarcasm. "Mr. Stever, will you do our class a huge favor and give an answer?" Professor Julia Snapped.

Phoenix had rolled her eyes and after a deep breath he said "Larry Neil Vanderhoef born March 20 1941 and died October 15, 2015 was an American biochemist, and academic. He was the 5th chancellor of University of California"

Anna was shocked and a little disappointed while Professor Julia said, "Well you have just made myself disappointed in you any less Mr. Stever. Well I am surprised you gave an answer" Professor Julia turned towards her desk.

"Like seriously, he knew the answer and guess what It's not that good day of mine," Anna whispered in breath, Phoenix eye rolled and smiled

"Well not that bad," he said. Anna startled

"How are you supposed to know?" She said it in a very low tone. "Anyway I don't think there is anything normal about you" Anna snapped.

"Listen, whatever your name is pariz or Paris, whatever , let me concentrate on the class if you don't mind," he said while looking away. Anna shrugs.

Well this was Anna Martin Perez, one of the Witch sisters, who had a crush on infamous Phoenix, but his jerk attitude makes her annoyed over him and she always ends up in a situation, which leads them to argument.

Lilliana Martin Perez

"Where are your nasty cousins, especially that blondy?" Snapped Junita.

"Juni, have you seen her dressing sense and she thinks she is prettier than us? She competes with Jennifer, who is the most popular girl in the school," snapped Ariana.

"Why? Are you jealous that my cousin got more attention than your booties?" Said Anna.

"What did you say, you bitch?" Ariana grabbed her wrist so strongly that she felt her blood stop.

"Leave me Ariana " said Anna while struggling.

"Oh I will leave you because Jennifer either has a "feast" for you, you stole her boyfriend as a partner bitch" said Junita.

"Arianna gave her a lesson". Arianna raised her punch to hit Anna, while Anna closed her eyes, but after 15 second Anna did not feel anything because her punch did not hit her. It was Lilliana who was just at the time for her rescue. She caught Ariana's hand in mid air.

"Miss me bitches?" said Lilliana. She throws away Arianna's hand.

"How dare you....." Said Junita.

"Aan Aan Aan! dear Junita don't raise your voice in front of me, even you could not raise your height in front of me" said Lilliana.

"You bit..." said Arianna but Lilliana cut her in the middle."Don't waste your energy..." Said Lilliana and she held Anna's hand and started walking away but then she turned and said.

"By the way bitch your boyfriend Eric had a date with me last evening and trust me I found him so boring you deserve a man like him,"

"What? you? you stole my boyfriend?" said Arianna, shocked.

"Naa honey, I did not steal that, that thing," she said awfully. "He was came to me to be stolen now fuck off" said Lilliana and then walked away from with Anna, who was still massaging her wrist.

This is Lilliana Martin Carlos Perez, Anna's cousin. She is an infamous girl in the school and love is not in her dictionary, she is infamous for being a playgirl, dating a lot of boys and breaking up frequently but life has planned something else for her, I mean really something else. Something strange will happen and this most loveless girl will end up with the most romantic creature in the universe. She is the most carefree in the group.

Sophia Martin Perez

"Well, there is one way to wait for two day he is will approach you," said Sophia.

"What, how did you do?" Said Anna and on the other side Lilliana was staring at Sophia.

"You used your magic ? What the hell Sophia? Daddy had forbidden us to do so," said Lilliana while folding her arms.

"I use my magic to know about her project and don't worry I never have gone too much ahead. I have just watched what will happen after two days, he will ask her what to do in the project" Said Sophia.

"I wish I could be able to see his future but I, I mean my magic is not so strong yet". said Sophia awkwardly.

"It's okay Soph, you did your best, you saved my day by telling me this," said Anna.

This is Sophia Martin Perez, Anna's Cousin and Lilliana's twin sister. She is totally opposite to Lilliana's personality. She becomes cold and darker after her mother's death, like her twin she also does not believe in love but for different reasons. Her special powers are seeing the future.

Mariana Martin Perez

"It was Lilliana, she was scared," said Sophia.

"Seriously?" Mariana was more than pissed off.

"I don't like portals," said Lilliana while brushing her hair.

"Yeah miss beauty" said Mariana.

"Hey how about my hair, they still are green". said Anna angrily.

"Amm the potion....the potion I created it seems it did not work...amm sometimes...happens, I think it won't be permanent" said Mariana awkwardly gulping.

"What do you mean by "you think"?" Anna asked air, quoting her fingers.

"I better go," said Mariana and ran towards the house led by the garden.

This was Mariana Martin Perez the eldest in the group, Lilliana and Sophia's sister and Anna's cousin being infamous for wrong magic, but clever in the group.

"Lilliana Martin Perez I have told you ten thousand times, clean your mess you have spread across the floor" said Mariana angrily.

"These are not messed up Marry, these are beauty Products." said Lilliana while brushing her hairs.

"What on the planet are your products doing on the floor?" said Mariana while putting pressure on the word "Products".

"Listen Marry I am not in a tone to fight please don't piss me off I have a date ahead." Lilliana said while wearing pink Glittering pins over the top of her head.

"Yeah third date with some Random guy this week," said Anna who just came out of the washroom and was adjusting her towel over her head.

"Third Time a week, what are you up to? Making a dating record?" Said Mariana and both Mariana and Ana started laughing aloud.

"Shut up both of you, my dating life is none of your concern" Lilliana said while applying lipstick. "I am leaving for School. Do any of you want to come or want to join later?" she asked while picking up her brand new yellow bag matching her shoes.

"I will be late, I have to pick some groceries and I don't have classes today," said Ana.

"Daddy will be here in the evening so better for everyone to be at home on time" Said Mariana, especially looking at Lilliana.

"Don't worry, Don't worry I will be at home on time," said Lilliana and left.

"Where did she go?" asked Sofia, who entered the room with a coffee mug in her hand.

"To school" Ana Shrug. "Soph are you free, we are running out of our Groceries so could you help?" asked Ana.

"Yeah, sure I am on leave from work today" Said Sofia while taking the last sip of her coffee. "Let me get ready, I will be back in a minute." She turned towards her room.

"A minute? Do you think she will take a minute?" said Mariana while crossing her arms. "I mean she is Twin of Lilliana that gives me a fever".

Mariana continued her sentence."Twins and their familiarities I mean both are in High school with the same habits but different interests Lilliana is a perfect casanova whereas Sofia have never dated since..." Before Mariana could complete her sentence Ana stopped her in the middle.

"Shut it Marry she could hear it she doesn't like the topic we never have talked about it. it's a year already" Marianna Just stood over there Awkwardly, whereas Ana left the room.

Supermarket was crowded. It was like the whole town was short of groceries on the same day. Ana and Sofia made their way towards the kitchen products.

"I think that's enough for the upcoming month? '' said Sofia while carrying a vegetable basket in her left hand.

"Yeah that would be enough, " replied Ana.

"So Daddy is arriving today? I hope his business trip will be a joy." Said Sofia.

"Yeah he is finally here after two weeks" said Ana, putting groceries in the car and taking a deep breath.

"I am afraid about the ritual Ann" Said Sofia while starting the car.

"Me too, we finally discovered what should be an exciting moment for us but..." Said Anna.

"Don't worry Ann everything will be fine and okay we have 2 weeks in a ritual" Said Anna while looking at the window screen.

"You know Soph sometimes I really miss her. If she was here that would be easier for us. I am really nervous" Said Anna while Sophie gave a sigh towards a signal.

"I know you don't like to talk about this topic. I know you were too close with her Soph I am sorry" Said Anna timid.

"No no it's okay Ann I can take it now" They were now outside of their beautiful home. Anna took the grocery product outside the car and now both were taking them towards the kitchen.

"Marry, we are home " said Anna.

Mariana had made everything glass clear in the house. It was almost 3 pm.

"Wow look at this, she made it all look so good. What do you think she used?" said Anna while exploring the house.

"Nope I don't think because if daddy would find out what she did he would be pissed off" Said Sophie while opening can she bring from market.

"Yeah goodie goodie Mariana Martin Perez would never offend our daddy" Said Anna while laughing.

"Shut up you two bitches, I did not use any of my gifted tricks here " Said Mariana she just entered the room.

"Gifted" Said both Anna and Sophie with fake shock.

"Yeah, I was gifted that turned Daddy's Hairs Purple once" Said Anna.

"Oh come on, it was an accident I had no control over." She said annoyed.

It's 7 pm, and Mournstead town has been under the shadow of darkness. Mournstead was in itself a mystery. The folklore tales and mysticism in Mournstead were infamous in other towns. Mournstead had been populated for more than 8 centuries, whereas it had a lot of living secrets or sometimes dead secrets, or could be called sleeping secrets.

It was quite evening in Mournstead, everything was quiet, not a single sign of any voice over the street of Perez family could be heard. Suddenly the wind started blowing loudly, and then the quiet street turned into the noise of a Breathtaking Storm. Just then a white hole out of nowhere appeared in mid air into the middle of the street, which in a second a man came out of that hole and then the hole vanished. It was Mr. Carlos Martin Perez.

"Daddy, you are back I missed you so much" Said Lilliana while hugging Mr. Carlos.

"I missed you too, Mi princesa," said Mr. Carlos. "Where is my favorite niece?" he said while looking for Anna.

"Here I am Daddy, I made a special cake for you," said Anna while coming out of the kitchen.

Anna was the only girl in the house who was not Mr. Carlos's daughter, she was his niece. Anna's father was Mr. Carlos Younger brother who died in a tragic car accident with Anna's mother and younger brother.

Anna was the only one who survived that tragedy, as it was still a mystery how she managed to survive that car accident; She was only 9 at that moment. After the demise of her parents and only brother, she lived with her uncle and aunt Isabella, and three cousins Mariana, and the twins Liliana and Sophia.
