PROLOGUE "UHHM B-BROTHER W-WHAT A-ARE YOU G-GOING TO D-DO?" I stammered as he entered my room. "UHHM NOTHING," he coldly replied. "H-HOW DID Y-YOU GET IN HERE?" I stammered again. "YOUR DOOR IS OPEN," he raised an eyebrow in response. "W-WHAT WILL Y-YOU DO? D-DON'T COME CLOSER," I said, trembling. "Why?" he asked. "I WON'T GIVE IN TO YOU AS MY GODPARENT," I threatened him.

Chapter 1 Part 1

"Let's go to sleep," she said with a sigh.

"Sure," I handed her Ace, and we lay down.

"Can't we have another one?" I asked.

"Who's Ace? Zack, if you'll be the one giving birth, I'll agree even if we do it every month," she playfully remarked.

"Your womb is mine," I teased.

"Good morning! I can now start preparing breakfast; I left them, father and son, sleeping.

"Good morning, Mom!" I greeted cheerfully as Mom sipped her coffee.

"Well, you woke up in a good mood," Mom remarked while sipping her coffee.

"Of course! I missed cooking breakfast for my husband," I said as I grabbed hotdogs, eggs, and bacon from the fridge.

"Do you have any plans to have another child after Ace?" Mom raised an eyebrow.

"Mom, not for now. Ace is still a child," I replied while cooking.

"So when will you have another one, when Ace is older?" Mom asked teasingly.

"Mom!" I said in annoyance. "I mean, he's still too young. I don't want to have another one yet, but Zack does."

"Why not follow Ace with another child?" Mom inquired, changing the topic.

"For now, let's focus on Ace's baptism instead," I said.

"When is Ace's baptism?" Mom asked.

"Maybe this Thursday, Mom. I'm still arranging it," I replied.

"Who will be the godparents?" Mom asked again.

"Of course, my friends, Mom," I said.

"I'm going upstairs now, Mom," I excused myself, not paying attention to her continued questioning. I went straight to our room; they were still asleep.

"Honey," I woke Zack up and ran my fingers through his hair.

"Ahmm," he groaned.

"Wake up; you still have work," I told him and kissed him.

"I don't want to go," he extended his hand.

"Why?" I asked in surprise.

"I just want to give you more time," he said sweetly.

"But..." Before I could finish, he pulled me and kissed me.

"If you don't want to go to work, join Ace and me at my company," he suggested, raising an eyebrow.

"Are you sure?" I asked, our faces close.

"Absolutely, I'll just take a quick shower," he said, getting up.

"Okay, I'll dress Ace too," I said and went to Ace's side.

"Wake up, honey, we're going with Daddy," I said affectionately to our son.

I dressed Ace, changed his diaper, and gave him milk. Once Zack finished getting ready, we left for my car.

"Do you want a gender swap too?" I covered my mouth to stifle a laugh; she can be quite witty.

"Good night," she said with a pout.

"Good night," I silenced her with a kiss.

I extended my arm to embrace Ace; she was lying next to Mae. Mae and I were the ones side by side.

After the journey, we arrived at Zack's company, named ZNM. I was puzzled because his name is Zack, so why the extra 'N'?

"Good morning, sir," the employees greeted Zack.

"Is that his wife?"

"Oh my gosh, does he have a child?!"

Whispers and murmurs surrounded us, but I ignored them. Zack held me by the waist, and we took the elevator before heading to his office.

"Wow, a lot has changed," I marveled as we entered. He opened the door for me.

"Sit down, honey," he pointed to the sofa.

"Love, get me the small pillow from the bag," I instructed. Zack sat in a swivel chair.

"Oh," he responded. I placed a pillow near Ace, who was asleep. I approached Zack.

"Are you not done yet?" I asked, grabbing a paper for him to sign.

"Yeah," he replied, signing the paper.

"Why didn't you finish yesterday? Didn't you work late?"

"You sent me home," he briefly looked at me before focusing on the paper.

"I thought you were done."

"Come on, both of you are more important to me. I'd lose everything, but not you," he affectionately said.

"Excuse me?" a woman entered Zack's office. I just noticed her, and she had an attractive figure and short hair.

"What is your problem?" she asked authoritatively.

"Nothing. Hey hon, here's the paper you wanted," the woman said, making me glare at Zack. He shrugged.

"Hey stupid," I called her.

"You are stupid too," she retorted.

"Who are you, b*tch?" I asked with crossed arms.

"I'm Zack Meller's secretary, and-" I didn't let her finish.

"Oh, you're just a secretary," I sneered.

"Ugh, you?!" she exclaimed.

"Wife. Yes, I'm the one and only wife of Zack Meller," I boasted.

"How do you know?" she asked with a hint of jealousy.

"Because I used my mouth, duh," I replied stubbornly.

"Where's the proof?" she raised an eyebrow.

I pouted and pointed to Ace lying on the sofa.

"Oh, baby, I like babies," she flirtatiously said.

"And my baby doesn't like you," I retorted, getting closer to Ace.

"Can I-" I didn't let her finish.

"No," I emphasized.

"Please," she pleaded with puppy eyes.

"I said no! You even have a virus," I bluntly stated.

"Virus? What kind of virus?" she inquired.

"Flirt virus," I said directly, clearly annoyed.

"We're not done yet!" she insisted and left. I looked at Zack, who was laughing.

"What are you laughing at, stupid?" I mimicked his earlier comment.

"What? Stupid? Who?" he asked in succession.

"You," I pointed with my nose. He pulled me onto his lap.

"Stupid if stupid. I want you, you know," he huskily said.

"Zack..." I called, not wanting Ace to witness.

"No questions," he said straightforwardly, sealing it with a kiss.

Mae Martinez, after what happened with Zack, Ace woke up. Mae asked Zack if he's almost done, and he replied affirmatively. She instructed Zack to hold Ace briefly while she goes to buy food, but Zack insisted on ordering and handed Mae his phone. Mae ordered a modest amount of food, thinking they wouldn't be able to finish a large order.

"Are you going to order?" Zack asked while cradling Ace.

"Yes, I ordered a few," Mae replied as she reached for Ace.

"Will you handle it?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I'll just get Ace," I said with a pout.

"Forget it," he turned away, taking Ace from me.

"But you're not done with what you're doing," I went to stand in front of him.

"It's okay... it'll be quick to finish. Look, it's almost done," he kissed my forehead.

"Okay?" I replied, unsure, and went to the office.

"Can I come in?" a familiar voice, so I went to the door.

"Why?" I raised an eyebrow at the opening.

"Is Zack here?" she eyed me.

"No, but I'm his wife," I flaunted.

"Tskk, get out of the way," she was about to enter, and I blocked her.

"I'll just give this to Zack," she showed me the bag of food.

"My husband already ordered food, Ms. Alvarez, just eat that," Zack intervened.

"With your wealth, surely you clean your ears," she raised her eyebrows and rolled her eyes at me.

"I heard that," he rolled his eyes at me, "You thought I cleaned my ears?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm leaving," she said irritably.

"Get lost, stupid," I glared at her before someone else called me.

"Ms. Meller?" the man asked, probably the one with the order.

"Yes?"

"You're beautiful," he shyly said.

"Just give us our order," Zack interrupted from behind me. Ace was already asleep on the sofa.

"Your wife?" he asked while getting the food.

"Yes," I replied.

"You don't look married, you look single," he smiled at me.

"What do you mean? Do I look old?" Zack raised his eyebrows.

"I didn't say that, you did," he clarified.

"What the..." Zack was about to approach him.

"Get lost," Zack said angrily, and the man left.

"Let's eat," I suggested.

"I eat you first, Martinez," he teased, and my eyes widened.

"What? I didn't do anything," I said annoyed.

"Okay, not now. I watered you earlier anyway," he said with a mischievous tone, so I rolled my eyes.

I placed the food on his desk since Ace was on the sofa.

"This tastes so good," he said with closed eyes.

"This or me?" I opened my eyes wide at his question.

"What, Meller?" he asked annoyed. He approached me.

"This or me?" he repeated.

"You!" I exclaimed, and he smirked.

"Good girl, honey," he teased, tousling my hair.

Chapter 3 Part 3

Still in Mae Martinez's point of view. After Zack and I finished eating, and Zack signed some documents, we decided to leave early.

"Are you leaving already?" his secretary asked as we approached the elevator.

"No, we'll be back," Zack replied playfully.

"Shh, what are you saying?" Zack whispered to me while carrying Ace.

"Is he your child, sir?" the secretary asked, pointing to Ace.

"Maybe a grandchild," I replied.

"Sorry, Mae," Zack apologized to the woman.

"It's okay, sir," she said with a fake smile.

We headed to his car, and he assisted me before getting in himself.

"Why are you so grumpy now?" he asked while holding my thigh.

"Nothing," I replied briefly.

"Sure?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm just hungry," I replied with a scowl.

"I'll eat you," he smirked.

"Eat your own face," I replied, making him laugh.

We arrived home, and my mom was there.

"Love, take Ace upstairs. I'll cook," I instructed Zack, and he nodded. I went to the kitchen.

"Has he been watered?" I asked my mom.

"What?" she raised an eyebrow.

"If he has been kissed again?" I repeated.

"Why?" she asked, pointing to my neck with a kiss mark.

"This is just a bite," I lied.

"A bite from Zack?" she teased, laughing.

"Tsk," was my only response.

Doorbell rings.

"Mom, there's someone," I called, and she went to the gate.

"Your dad," she told me, so I turned.

"An-" I was about to say.

"Don't call me a child, because I'm not your child," I said emphatically.

"Forgive me, Mae," he pleaded.

"Why? What for?" I asked, avoiding eye contact.

"I will make it up to you," he said, his voice trembling.

I finished what I was doing and faced him. "Since I was a child, I've always wanted to experience having a father. It excited me, but as I grew older, got married, had kids-no father figure. I didn't have a father," I confessed.

"Do I have a grandchild?" he asked.

"Yes, I have a child, and-" I didn't finish.

"Zack is the father, Mae. He's your brother," he revealed.

"I know he's my brother! He's my half-brother, my mother's rival's son! I never wanted to get involved with him, you know! But I couldn't help but fall for him! I loved him! I didn't want to get involved with him because I was afraid he'd be like you! Leave me if we have a child! But no, he's not like you. He's better than you!" I shouted, tears streaming down my face.

"Mae..."

"Enough. I don't want... I'm used to not having a father. I'm used to it," I wiped away my tears and went upstairs, ignoring Zack on the stairs.

"I went to the room and ignored Zack. I lay down beside Ace.

"Love, you okay?" he asked me.

"Kind of," I replied.

"Come on, look at me," he said as I faced away.

"Zack, if you're going to defend your dad, not now," I faced him.

"Love, Dad is pitiful."

"What about me, Zack? How about my longing for my father? I resent him," I looked up since he's taller.

"You grew up without a dad because Aunt hid you," he defended his dad.

"Do you defend him, Zack?" I crossed my arms.

"No."

"My mom hid me because your mom flirted with my dad!" I accused.

"Mom didn't flirt with Daddy," he countered.

"What? She's friends with Daddy! Your mom's a traitor, Zack!" I was about to continue when he touched my cheek.

"I already told you, Martinez," he said.

"I hate you! I hate you!" I yelled as tears streamed down.

I left and saw Mom and Dad.

"Anak, why are you crying?" I turned my head.

"Anak-" I interrupted my dad.

"I said don't call me your child!" I shouted.

I went to the car and sped away, heading to Jess's place.

"J-Jess," I called when I reached their house.

"Oh, Mae, what happened? Why are you crying?" she asked concerned.

"I'll stay here for a while," I said.

"Kuya Carl isn't here. Why are you here?" she asked.

"Zack and I had a fight," I replied.

"Then you left Ace with him?" She handed me water.

"Mom is there; I'm sure she won't leave Ace," I said, tears falling.

"Shhhh... calm down. Everything will be okay," she comforted me until I fell asleep."

Zack Meller's POV:

"I don't know what I did. I was shocked when I slapped Mae. I tried to chase her, but she quickly went down and left in their car."

"Aunt, where did Mae go?" I asked as I descended.

"I don't know," she replied. "Did you two have a fight, Zack?"

"Aunt, I'm sorry, but I slapped Mae," tears welled up in my eyes, and my aunt gently touched my cheek.

"How dare you!" my aunt exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, Aunt. I didn't intentionally hurt her," I apologized.

"My hands have never touched any part of Mae's body. I don't harm her, Zack!"

"Sorry," I said, bowing my head.

"Zack, let's go. Ms. Alvarez is waiting for you," my dad tried to grab my arm.

I pulled away. "Dad, stop. We're already in a fight!"

"I already told you, Zack! Stay away from her! Now look at the chaotic situation," my dad shouted at me.

"This is their problem," I said, raising an eyebrow.

"You're not even married yet," I heard my dad say as I left.

"So what?" I raised an eyebrow at him. I turned away, but suddenly, someone smacked my head, and I lost consciousness.

Jaime Meller's (Daddy Meller) POV:

I can't control myself anymore. I know they might have a child with Mae, his sibling, but they can't be together. Yes, I was the one who smacked Zack's head.

"Jaime, why did you do that?" Mariel scolded me.

"I'm leaving," I bid farewell and left, taking Zack with me. I headed to our house, entered Zack's room, and locked the door.
