Twins Fate: The Useless Omega's Awakening

Author: : 50scent
Genre: Werewolf
The powerful Stormclaw pack's twin daughters, Daisy and Dahlia, were very different. Dahlia is the pack's favorite future Luna, and Daisy, the pale Omega who is "useless," is haunted by strange dreams and a mysterious silver-eyed man who warns her of a hidden power within. Daisy's instincts save lives during an unsuccessful pack hunt, raising suspicion and curiosity among the pack. A prophecy of twin wolves, one to save and the other to destroy, casts doubt on Daisy's loyalty and identity as tensions mount. Dahlia's envy grows to betrayal, blaming Daisy for bringing trouble in a sensational show of dominance to secure her future as Luna. Daisy accepts her Omega identity after being forced to confront her destiny and learns that her true strength is unity and resilience. In the end, Daisy's journey demonstrates that strength is courage to embrace one's own path rather than rank. The Useless Omega's Awakening is a story about self-discovery, family ties, and the indomitable strength within.

Chapter 1 The Forgotten Twin

Daisy POV

I stood at a corner in the training arena, trying to fit as my pack trained. They moved like a well-oiled machine strong, fast, perfect. Especially her. My sister, Dahlia. She led them with an ease that made it seem like she was born to rule. Every punch, every block, every move was flawless. The pack admired her, worshiped her even.

And then there was me. The forgotten one. Daisy, the Omega.

I didn't belong here, not really. I wasn't built for this life of strength and glory. But I had to come, forced by duty to watch them train. I hated it. Their laughter cut through me like knives, their voices filled with joy and pride that I couldn't share. Dahlia, the golden one, was always in the center, a shining light. Me? I was nothing. A shadow.

"Daisy, why aren't you joining the training?"

The sound of my father's voice made me wince. I could tell he was the one without even turning around. Every time he spoke to me, he had the same expression, as if he could not bear to see me.

I stared at the floor and murmured, "I'm just... watching." My lips tasted harsh from the words.

He yelled, "If all you do is stand there like a ghost, you're not much use to the pack." "Even an Omega must do her share."

I nodded despite my constricted throat after swallowing forcefully. "I understand."

"Then do it." He spoke in an icy tone. I stood there with my heart racing and my guilt burning as he turned and left.

I was unable to perform anything correctly. Never had. Never would.

Dahlia was sparring with the others across the field, and I could see her moving with her honey-blonde hair flying. She was stunning, self-assured, and powerful. She was loved by all. She fit in. And I was nothing beside her. Not in the same world, even.

"Why did you even bothering to come?"

I was surprised by the voice, but I knew it was Rowan without having to look. One of Dahlia's closest friends, one of her most devoted fans, and one of my worst harassers. I felt sick to my stomach at his arrogant tone.

"I.... "

He sneered and moved closer so I could feel the intensity of his loathing, saying, "Daisy, you're not like us." "Weak. Horrible. useless.

As usual, the words were painful, but I said nothing. There was no point in disputing. There was nothing I could say that would alter their opinion of me.

Rowan laughed, pleased that I didn't answer. He mumbled, "Figures," and turned to leave me by myself in the icy shadow of Dahlia's creativity.

A shadow. Always.

I noticed Dahlia approaching just as I was ready to leave. Despite the rigorous training, she naturally appeared flawless and in fantastic condition. Her eyes were sharp and constantly calculating, yet her expression was neutral.

With a flat, uncaring tone, she questioned, "Daisy, what are you doing here?"

I muttered, "Father said I should come watch," as I felt the weight of her eyes.

"Watch?" She raised an eyebrow in repetition. "You ought to be working out."

I tried to speak steadily as I said, "I wasn't invited."

Dahlia sighed as if I were the greatest annoying person in the world. "Daisy, you can be of assistance without an invitation. However, don't just stand by if you're not going to take part. Go assist Mother in getting ready for tonight's hunt.

I nodded, though my throat constricted. "All right. I'll go.

I felt her eyes pierce my back as I turned and left without saying another word. Their laughing reverberated all around me as I traversed the field, but I kept my head down. They ensured that I knew I had no place here.

The aroma of fresh meat and herbs greeted me as soon as I walked through the entrance of my house. As she got ready for the hunt that night, my mother was already in the kitchen, working swiftly. When I walked in, she didn't even look up.

She whispered, "About time you showed up." "I don't have to wait for you all day."

Unsure of what to say, I stood there for a while. But what would I even say? Instead, I just asked, "What do you need me to do?"

"Chop those vegetables," she snapped, pointing at a pile on the counter. "And try not to mess it up."

Her words stung, but I moved to the counter and picked up the knife, my hands shaking slightly. With all neither of us would say, there was a heavy silence between us. Since the day I was born, she had changed the way she looked at me. because I nearly killed her when i was born.

In an attempt to concentrate, I began chopping. Even though it was easy, I was unable to stop the thoughts from racing through my mind. Her disappointed and resentful gaze was on me, and I could feel it.

The silence was suddenly broken when she said, "You should try harder." "You believe that your status as an Omega allows you to be worthless?"

My heart sank into my gut as I started chopping again after my hands briefly froze. "No," I muttered. "I'm not".

"Then pretend to be that," she said harshly. "You have given nothing in return, and we have given you everything."

My hand slid as her words struck me like a slap. I gasped and swiftly withdrew my hand as the knife slashed into my finger. As blood gathered, I reached for a piece of fabric and wrapped it around the wound.

"Daisy."

The sound of Dahlia's voice made me tense. She appeared to have something significant to say as she stood in the doorway with her arms folded.

"What is it?" I asked, attempting to control my frustration. At the moment, I didn't want to deal with her.

Dahlia remarked, "Something is going on at the borders." "Your father wants you to attend."

Confusedly I blinked. "Me? Why?

She shrugged, like it didn't matter. "Avoid asking me. Just come."

The forest at the edge of Stormclaw territory felt darker than usual, the shadows deeper, colder. The air was thick with tension, making every step feel heavy. I followed Dahlia to where our father stood with a group of pack members. Something was definitely wrong.

"What's going on?" I asked quietly, not expecting much of an answer.

Father turned to me, his face unreadable. "We've found something," he said, his voice low. "Something strange."

I frowned, my stomach tightening. "What do you mean?"

Before he could respond, something moved in the trees. A shape, a wolf, but not like any wolf I'd ever seen.

In the moonlight, its eyes glowed a deep, strange purple, and its fur shimmered silver. I could see it glaring at me. Unblinking. Like it knew me.

I stepped back, my heart thumping. "What is that, exactly?" My voice was almost heard as I whispered.

With a nervous tone, Dahlia took a step forward. "This is not to my liking."

With its eyes fixed on me, the wolf moved closer. There seemed to be a strange pull pulling at something deep within me as the ground moved beneath me. My heart pounded as terror combined with an inexplicable element.

With its eyes still fixed on me, the wolf let out a low growl. Then it moved in a flurry of glittering light. turning into a man.

Tall, with silver hair that matched the wolf's fur and those same glowing purple eyes. A slow knowing smile curled his lips as he stood in front of us, looking directly at me.

His voice was deep and eerie as he replied, "I've been waiting for you.".His eyes gleamed with a strange intensity. "Daisy."

Chapter 2 A Pack Divided.

It was hard to breathe because the air was so tight. I stood near the clearing's edge and observed the wolves arguing, whispering, and making uneasy glances at one another. Everyone felt that something had changed since last night.

I really wasn't supposed to be here. Although I had nowhere else to go, Omegas are typically kept out of pack matters like this. I was still haunted by the strange silver wolf, the man. I kept recalling his words in my head

"I've been waiting for you, Daisy," He said.

What was that implying? Who was he? Why also me?

Dahlia was standing with her usual crowd of admirers across the clearing, and I saw her calm and collected expression. She didn't seem bothered by the group's growing anxiety. No, she made the most of it. She was aware that the chaos might provide her with the chance to take charge that she had been waiting for.

As he spoke to the wolves that had gathered, my father, Beta of the pack, stood next to the Alpha with a grim expression on his face. Sharp and authoritative, his voice carried through the clearing.

"We must maintain our unity. We will fall if we don't cooperate with this real threat.

As I looked around at the wolves that were surrounding him, I bit my lip. Doubt, fear, and rage appeared on their faces, and I could see it. Here, there was no unity. The cracks were getting bigger and the pack was already beginning to break apart.

"What danger?" A single wolf in the crowd called out, " We haven't seen any actual evidence! merely tales of a rogue wolf!"

"That isn't just a liar!" The frustration in my father's voice was palpable. It's much, much worse. It is, "He's correct!" Dahlia's loud, clear voice cut through the silence. Instantaneously, everyone shifted their focus to her as they turned to look at her.

We cannot make hasty judgments. Strange phenomena have previously occurred, and they have always been dealt with. We have the strength to deal with this.

The crowd echoed with an agreement mumble. Dahlia spoke in a way that inspired others to follow her. They trusted her more than our father even now, despite everything that was happening. surpassing me.

I tightened my hands as the old ache of jealousy and bitterness swelled inside me. She was always able to persuade others of her reliability and knew just what to say.

I was the unnoticed twin, watching from the sidelines and going unnoticed.

"I've met him!" I said it out loud, which surprised even me.

All eyes were on me. I immediately regretted speaking up when Dahlia fixed her sharp gaze on mine. However, it was now too late.

"What were you saying?" The low, dangerous voice of my father

I mumbled, "I... I saw the wolf," my heart racing. Last night in the bush. He transformed into a man.

I could feel the weight of their eyes on me as the crowd broke into whispers. My chest contracted. I wasn't welcome here. What was my thought?

"Have you seen the rogue?" Taking a step forward, Dahlia's eyes narrowed. And you did not respond?"

I mumbled, feeling smaller and smaller each second, "I didn't know what to say."

"You weren't sure what to say?" Dahlia's tone was sharp, and I could see that she was up against a challenge. Daisy, this is significant. Why didn't you tell Father right away if you really saw something like that?

I admitted, barely raising my voice above a whisper, "I... I was scared."

"Scared?" Dahlia continued, her voice shaking with doubt. Therefore, rather than carrying out something useful, you just... Hid?"

I felt my face burn from embarrassment as the crowd burst into laughter. But I didn't lie. The wolf had spoken to me after I had seen him. Why did no one trust me?

"I don't believe she is lying," The crowd parted to reveal Rowan stepping forward after a deep voice broke through the noise. His eyes were fixed on me, but they were not kind. I've also witnessed strange things. Something is out there."

Dahlia gave me a frown, shifting her focus between Rowan and me. I saw a flash of doubt in her eyes for a moment, but she quickly covered it up with her usual confidence.

She said, crossing her arms, "Fine." Let's say you actually saw something. Why is it important? We are more powerful than any criminal or foreigner who dares to enter our territory. It will be handled by the pack.

There were nods and murmurs of agreement in response to her words. She, not I, commanded the pack's devotion. Even to our father no longer.

However, I wasn't sold. I knew deep down that the wolf I saw wasn't just a rogue. We had no idea what else was going on. There was something else going on.

I tried to keep my voice steady as I said, "I think we should be careful." He claimed to have been waiting for me.

The tone of her laughter was icy and sharp. For you? Daisy, why would anyone wait for you?

I didn't want to admit it, but I kept my eyes fixed on her. I'm being honest, and I'm not sure why. Something is taking place that is greater than any of us.

Dahlia narrowed her eyes and gave me a prolonged stare. She then turned to look at the other members of the group with a slight grin. Ghost stories are out of the question at this point. Tonight's hunt has been ordered by the Alpha. We must concentrate on that.

There was a shift in the crowd, with some people looking at each other uneasy and others nodding in agreement. My father opened his mouth and stepped forward.

He said, "Dahlia is correct," even though I could tell it hurt him to agree with her. We cannot afford to be divided by fear. We will hunt tonight."

I felt like screaming. They didn't pay attention. This was not taken seriously by anyone. None, not even my family.

I felt a hand on my arm as the group began to break up. Rowan was standing next to me when I turned to see his serious expression.

"Really, you saw him?" He asked in a low voice.

With a tight throat, I nodded. I did."

After checking to see if anyone was listening, Rowan leaned in closer. I trust you. We can't tell the others, though. No, not yet.

"Why not?"

"Because they'll get scared. He trailed off, shook his head, "They're already on edge, and if they think there's something bigger at play..." It might split the group apart.

My thoughts were racing as I sucked hard. So, what should we do?

Rowan said in a firm voice, "Keep quiet for the time being." But keep an eye out. We will need to be prepared in the event that the man or wolf returns.

Despite feeling dread curled in my stomach, I nodded. Rowan lacked my faith. He'd always been close to Dahlia and prepared to make fun of me at every opportunity. Why did he suddenly support me?

Dahlia's voice rang out, calling Rowan back to her, before I could ask any more questions. He gave me one final glance before turning and fleeing into the crowd.

My thoughts were racing as I watched him leave. I couldn't shake the sense that terrible things were coming. Regardless of whether they wanted to admit it or not, the group was already divided. Additionally, this enigmatic wolf-man was the spark that could ignite anything.

My thoughts were racing as I started to walk back toward the forest. My haven and haven of safety had always been the woods. I might be able to get some answers there. I might see him once more, and this time I would be prepared.

However, as I entered the trees, a brisk wind blew through the limbs, causing the hairs on my neck to stand up. I stopped breathing and froze.

Then I spotted him.

The silver wolf, his purple eyes glowing in the shadows, standing just beyond the trees. He stood there looking at me like he was waiting.

Fear and another thing twisting within me caused my breath to become trapped in my throat. I had no idea what to do.

The wolf then turned and vanished into the night, almost as it appeared.

With a racing heart, I moved forward.

Behind me, someone called out "Daisy."

I turned around, but there was no one there.

Chapter 3 Dahlia's Destiny.

I stood frozen as the call sent chills down my spine. As I looked around the pitch-black forest, my breath came quickly and shallowly. Nobody was present, merely shadows and swaying trees in the wind.

"Somethings must be coming for me".

I was still gripped by fear. Even though the silver wolf was real, the voice and the whisper of my name were too close and too eerie.

I stepped back and looked over my shoulder. The sensation that I was being watched persisted. It was oppressive, like if something invisible was waiting in the dark. I had to return to the group.

I turned, heading towards the clearing, but the moment I stepped out of the trees, I spotted her, Dahlia, standing alone near the training grounds. Her posture was rigid, her arms crossed as if she was lost in thought. There was something different about her. The usual smugness in her expression was gone, replaced by something I couldn't quite explain.

With fear, I made my way toward her. Dahlia?" I made a soft call.

At first, she didn't turn; instead, she just kept looking out at the horizon like she was thinking deeply. Her face was hard to read when she finally looked at me.

"Where did you go?" She asked, speaking in a cool, but not as sharp, tone.

I lied by saying, "I needed to clear my head." It was pointless to tell her about the voice. In any case, she wouldn't believe me.

Dahlia was unimpressed and raised an eyebrow. You must always "clear your head." Her eyes narrowed slightly as she paused. You should be concentrating on more pressing matters. The group requires us right now.

"Us?" Surprised, I couldn't help but ask.

She replied emphatically, "Yes, us," locking her eyes on mine. The Alpha... well, he won't be in charge forever, and Father is struggling to keep control."

I grinned. What do you mean?"

Dahlia looked intently as she moved closer. Do you believe that without new leadership, this pack will be able to survive? Without someone capable of taking charge? Father and the Alpha are getting older, and..." she abruptly ended, her jaw tightening. Father is naive. He is losing control.

I blinked because I was at a loss for words.

Dahlia had always had high goals and ambition, but this was different. Her words had coldness in them, and her calculation made me feel cold.

"You... do you think you ought to be the leader?" I was uneasy and asked.

She did not pause. I do, of course. Who else is skillful? The majority of the others follow my example, and Rowan is loyal to me. The rest of the group will soon discover the truth.

My heart raced as I fixed my gaze on her. However, Father is the Beta.

Dahlia said it again, harshly and in a low voice, "Father is weak." He delays, he questions himself, and thus, the pack is floundering. They require a decision-maker who is not afraid to carry out the necessary actions.

The weight and danger of her words floated in the air. As I tried to process what she was saying, I took a big breath. This was more than just about succeeding Father. Dahlia was referring to overthrowing the hierarchy as a whole. She was also eager to carry it out without hesitation.

"What happens to the Alpha?" I inquired softly. You can't just...Dahlia said, her eyes shining with determination, "The Alpha is old." Whether he admits it or not, his time is coming to an end. The pack will require new leadership at that point. Influential leadership.

"And do you consider yourself that leader?" My question was barely audible above a whisper.

Dahlia replied, her self-assurance intensifies. "I know I am. Daisy, I've been preparing for this all my life. I deserve it. Instead of Father, the pack already looks to me for direction. Even the Alpha cannot."

The majority of the pack did look to her, and she was correct about that. They relied on her skill and strength. They went straight after her. However, this went beyond just leadership; This was a grab for power. A coup. Her words made me feel sick.

"Dahlia, you cannot simply..." "Can't just what?" She yelled, cutting me off once more. Daisy, what's the problem? Why do you always feel so helpless? Why the fear? With the current state of affairs, do you really believe that the pack will survive?"

She yelled, "I don't know, but...". "But nothing," her eyes flashing with frustration. This group is disintegrating and dividing. I can see it, but Father is too blind to see it. If you won't be the one to step up, someone else will.

Her words slapped me hard. The fact that they were true hurt, but what hurt more was how she looked at me, as if I were nothing. As if I were not even worthy of consideration.

I mumbled, fighting the urge to spit, "I'm not trying to lead." However, you are discussing Father's betrayal. Dahlia, this is not right.

"Right?" She cracked a bitter grin. Daisy, it's no longer important to be right. It's about survival. You wouldn't comprehend because you are too preoccupied with hiding and afraid to take charge of your own life.

Even though I didn't believe it, I fired back. "I'm not hiding, I have not been hiding, I never was".

Dahlia yelled, her voice like ice, "Then stop acting like it." Daisy, this pack is mine. It is my fate. You can either watch from a distance or move out of the way. Don't try to stop me, though.

I made an effort to dispute and say something, but I was unable to get the words out. I couldn't think of anything to say. Dahlia was overly determined and self-assured. And perhaps she was correct. It's possible that the group actually required a strong leader. I was however frightened by her cold, calculated, and ruthless approach.

A sharp and urgent howl pierced the air suddenly. We both froze and turned toward the sound. It came from far beyond the pack's usual territory, deep within the forest.

Fear tightened my chest as I whispered, "That's... that's not one of ours."

Dahlia's eyes got smaller. No, it isn't.

She turned and started walking toward the trees without saying anything else. My heart was pounding as I followed after a brief hesitation. The howl had appeared to be a warning or a sign that something or someone was approaching.

I noticed movement between the trees from a distance as we got closer to the woods' edge. The air felt electric and charged. I could tell that something powerful and dangerous was present.

I said in a trembling voice, "We shouldn't be out here."

Dahlia didn't respond because she was too focused on the forest ahead. She moved quickly and determined, as if she knew exactly where she was going.

Again, something moved abruptly, and this time I clearly saw them; figures emerging from the gloom. Wolves, but not members of our group. Their fur was silver beneath the moon, and their eyes sparkled strangely. The man from before stood towering and ferocious in the middle of them all.

As I grabbed her arm, I whispered in her ear, "Dahlia, stop."

Her eyes were blazing with disdain as she shook me off. I don't worry about them.

The man with silver eyes stepped forward and fixed his attention on Dahlia. Cold and shrewd, he smiled slowly across his face.

His deep, uneasy voice said, "We've been waiting for you."

Dahlia didn't back down, even though her jaw tightened. And who are you?

The man's grin broadened. Your true destiny will be revealed by me.

Dahlia's eyes showed a glimmer of unease for the first time. But she quickly covered it up and stood tall and headstrong.

Her tone was steady, and she said, "I make my own destiny."

The man chuckled, a dark, unsettling sound. "Do you? Or have you simply been playing a part in a story much bigger than you?"

Dahlia's expression hardened, but before she could respond, the man stepped closer, his eyes gleaming with a strange intensity.

"You have no idea what's coming," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

I took a step back, fear gripping me. Something was wrong. This man wasn't like anything I had ever seen. And the way he looked at Dahlia, like he knew something we didn't, made my skin crawl.

"We need to go," I whispered, pulling at Dahlia's arm again.

She didn't move, her gaze locked on the man. "I'm not afraid of you," she said, her voice cold and steady.

The man's eyes darkened and his smile vanished. You ought to be.

A sudden gust of wind carried a deep ominous howl through the clearing. I felt a strange force pulling me toward the man and his wolves as the air erupted in energy.

"Dahlia!" My heart was racing with fear as I yelled.

However, it was late. The man extended his hand, causing the chaos in the area around
