Twenty Years In Bondage (Mated To An Omega)

CHAPTER ONE

OCTAVIA'S POV

Tears kept flowing down my cheeks, as I stared into space, with my arms crossed on my chest. Why is my life always this miserable? Why can't I live like every other werewolves? Why can't I have my freedom? For the past eighteen years, I've always been locked inside my room, never seen what the sunlight looks or feel like, no friends, no other family, aside my parents, the only comfort I have, is the one I get from my mat, I'm so tired of this lifestyle.

"My child..."

"Mother I want to go out! I want to make friends, I want to live like every other person, I want to get out of here mother, you've been locking me inside this room ever since I was born, you and dad never let me out, not even to the doorstep, why are you keeping me in bondage? What wrong have I done that warrants all these ill treatment? If I was a curse to you two, if you are ashamed of me, then why did you give birth to me? If you were going to deprive me of my happiness, why didn't you kill me when you birthed me mother!" I yelled, as more tears came streaming down my cheeks. I know what I'm doing isn't right, I'm not supposed to yell at her, but you'll do same if you were in my shoes, right?

Mother broke down in tears, while father just looked away, with so much on his face, he was hiding something from me, I know it, but what could he be possibly hiding?

"It's not what you think Octavia, you're the best thing that ever happened to us, you're our only family, and the most precious one to us my dear, you're still a kid, but don't worry, one day, you'll know that everything we're doing, is for your own good, please just bear with us, at least for now." She pleaded in tears.

"I am not a kid mother, I am eighteen for heaven sake, and I deserve to know what's happening to my life. Why am I living differently? How sure am I that anyone even know about my existence." I cried bitterly. My heart throbbed in pains. My life is a mess, and I keep asking myself, for how long will I continue to live like this? For how long will I continue to be a shadow of my parents, which is always locked inside? For how long will I continue to wallow in my own pains? Every night, I let my pillow take the burden of my heart, I just can't stop myself from crying, thinking about my miserable life, if tears is the only thing that can deliver to the outside world, the pains I'm suffering inside of me, then I'll do it every minutes of my life.

"Mother, father, do you know how it feels to be locked inside the room for years, like you're some plague, who is to be kept away from people, in order not to get them affected with a contagious disease? I'm sure you never went through the pains you both are causing me now.

Just tell me please, for how long will I continue to live like this, huh? For how long will I continue to live under your shadow? How long will I continue to wallow in my own pains? How long will I be locked in here? Twenty years to this? Forty? Or forever? Why don't you just get rid of me already!" I yelled, and banged my hand on the wall, as more tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Octavia, you won't understand..."

"Exactly my point, I don't understand the whole thing. Can someone at least tell me what's happening? Don't just keep me in the dark." I cut father off his words, as I turned to face him, with so much anger in me.

"Octavia I..."

"Never mind father. I'm giving you two, five days to find solution to this whole thing, and if you can't, in this few days, be sure that I'm going out there, and face the consequence of it. Excuse me please." I wiped my tears, before heading to my small room.

Stepping into my poor looking room, I sat on the mat, and hugged my legs to myself, as more tears rolled down my cheeks. I don't even know where we are, I don't know the name of the place we are, all I know is that we're said to be in Dark Moon Pack, I've never seen what our pack look like. The only person I know after my parents, is mother Lia. I don't know who she is, but she always sneaked in here at nights, to give us food. She loves me, like I'm her own daughter, and I'm never bored each time she's around. Whenever food is served, I don't go out to collect mine, mother always gives me hers to eat, I just kept wondering what's going on, this alone, makes me think that no one knows of my existence.

I felt my wolf, crawling to my eyes, with anger in her, she's more pained than me, but what can we do? Even she, cannot help me out of this situation I'm in, maybe I should just accept my fate for the time being, I'm sure things will get better with time.

I was still crying my eyes out, when my door creak opened. I didn't need anyone to tell me that it was either mother or father, so I just remained in my position, with my head, buried between my knees, as I continued crying.

"Go away mother, I don't wanna see anyone, you all should please leave me alone." I said in tears, not raising my head to look at her.

"My child." I heard a pained feminine voice, different from mother's.

Snapping my head up, I was welcomed with the sight of mother Lia.

"Mother?" I called in tears, as I sprang up, and ran into her arms, hugging her tightly, as I cried on her shoulders.

"Mother get me out of here please...I'm suffocating inside here, take me with you." I cried bitterly on her shoulder.

"Shhhhh! Don't cry please." She hushed, as she stroked my hair soothingly.

"Cmon, come sit here." She pulled away, and gave me a wide smile, before leading me to sit with her on the only stool in my room, with me on her laps, as she looked up to me.

"Mother, I'm tired of all these..."

"Shhhhh! Worry not anymore my dear Octavia, I have the solution to your problems now." She said with a wide smile on her face...

CHAPTER TWO

ALPHA KHALID'S COURTROOM

Alpha Khalid POV

I sat on my throne, glaring at the incompetent fools of cabinet members, bowing their heads foolishly in front of me. My blood kept boiling in anger, as I glared at them, I could feel my wolf, crawling dangerously out of my eyes, threatening to consume me, but I tried as much as to keep it in check, I didn't wanna lose it, not now.

"I'll ask again, and if you dare to tell me nonsense, then you know what I'm capable of doing. For the last time, who helped the rogue escaped from the prison?" I thundered again, losing my patience. I felt my whole body heating up, the atmosphere was almost on fire, and I could see it on their faces, they were feeling the heat.

"Forgive me Alpha, it's all my fault, I was on duty that night....I...I didn't know how it..."

Before he could finish his statement, I teleported to his back, and touching him with my hand, which was already on fire, he burnt into ashes.

"Find the rogue, else, you're all dead." I roared, before teleporting out of the throne room. How dare those fools! That bastard, dare to betray me, and thinks he can actually escape me? No way! When I lay my hands on him, I'll make sure I make him go through so much pains, that he'll beg to be killed. He thinks he can come to my pack and spy on us, but he'll regret it.

Teleporting to the woods, I screamed out angrily, as my whole body lit up in fire, and soon, some of the trees were affected, as they caught fire, burning furiously.

"Calm down Khalid, you have to control yourself." I said to myself, as I kept grunting, trying to calm my demon, and soon, the fire disappeared from my body, but the trees didn't stopped burning.

I suddenly became hungry, and the urge to hunt, suddenly flashed through me, and I shift furiously, before going farther into the woods, looking for what to eat. My wolf is the most strongest and fierce in the whole pack, I mean, what do you expect from an Alpha? My wolf never misses its target, no matter how distanced it. After a few minutes, I was able to hunt down a deer, which I devoured.

Changing into my human form, I cleaned the trail of blood from my mouth, before teleporting to my spacious room.

I walked into bathroom, had a long relaxing bath, and wore a towel around my waist, before walking out of the bathroom to my room.

"Who's there?" I asked loudly, as I took a seat before the mirror, looking at my reflection. What more can I ask from moon goddess? She blessed me with an handsome face, perfect body, and made me the most powerful man, just tell me what more I could ask for.

"Yes your highness." One the maids, serving me said from outside. They didn't need anyone to tell them I needed their services, as two maids came rushing in.

"Yes Alpha." They both bowed, before walking over to where I was sitting down.

Closing my eyes, I relaxed myself on the chair, as I waited for them to start their jobs, and soon, I felt two hands on my shoulders, giving me the best massage I've been longing all day for. All my servants are best at what they do.

In less than two hours, they were done with dressing me up, after which they left my room, leaving me alone.

Walking elegantly into my study room, I picked an ancient book from the book shelf, before going to sit on the chair, after which I crossed my legs and started opening the book, page by page.

"Where are you Khalid?" I suddenly heard her voice echoed in my head. She's the only one that dare to speak in my head, and that person, is my sister, Moon.

Letting out a soft groan, I closed my eyes briefly in frustration, and decided to ignore her, as I continued reading the book.

"Where are you Khalid? Don't you dare mess with me if I find you myself, just know you're a goner." Her voice threatened in my head. Gosh! This girl is so annoying.

"I want to be alone." I said in my mind, and before I knew what was happening, the door burst opened, and she walked in elegantly, with a smug look on her face. Ok I'm screwed now.

"How dare you Khalid?" She growled angrily, as she sauntered to where I was sitting down.

"What's the problem now Moon?" I asked frustratingly, taking my full attention to the book.

"Let's go have fun outside the pack. Let's visit your friend." She whined, as she sat opposite me.

"Not today Moon, I'm not in a good mood now, and besides, I don't have a plan of going to Moon stone pack anytime soon, so you can go with the guards, if you so much want to see him." I said with finality in my voice, not raising my gaze to look at her.

"Cmon Khalid, it's just an harmless..."

"Don't make me repeat myself Moon." I said coldly, not sparing her a glance. I hate showing her my bad side, but then, I hate being bothered. I'm used to giving orders, and not taking them.

She snorted angrily, before storming out of the study, banging the door behind her.

"Now my mood is ruined." I sighed softly, then closed the book and kept it back in the shelf, before walking out.

"I need fresh air." I muttered, as I opened my door, and walked out. The guards and maids kept bowing to me, as I walked pass them. I got to the garden, and took a deep breath, as I joined my hands at my back, staring into space, the fresh air, fanning my face.

Looking around the garden, my attention was drawn to a flower, as a strong scent filled the garden...

CHAPTER THREE

Octavia POV

Ever since mother Lia suggested that I go out at night and have fun, my life has changed from worst to a more comfortable one. I always go out every night for fresh air, and at times, I use the opportunity to free my wolf, and let it take over me.

Going out of the house is very fun, even if it's not in the daylight. At least, I know what the pack look like. Too bad I can't see the beauty of it.

"You have to please be careful my child, don't put yourself in trouble, and make sure you come home early enough, don't go too far in the woods, we have enemies alot, and I wouldn't want one of them, hurting you. Please be safe for me, ok?" Mother said worriedly.

"You've said that like a million times now mother, and I always told you that I'll do just that, can you please stop getting worried over nothing?" I sighed frustratingly, crossing my arms on my chest.

"I know I've said that alot, but I still have to tell you, so you won't forget..."

"Ok mom, I've heard you now, so can I go now?" I rolled my eyes at her.

"Yes, but remember..."

"Not to go close to the palace to avoid getting myself into a big mess." I helped her complete her statement.

"Good girl. Now take care, ok?" She cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead, before pulling me into her warm arms.

"I'll he fine mom." I said after pulling away from the hug, and with that, I left the house and sped into the thick forest, not after looking around carefully, to avoid anyone getting a glimpse of me.

A smile crept on my face, as I inhaled the fresh air, which I always longed to have every minute. It feels so good, being out here. if wishes were horses, then I would've loved to know how this will feel in the daylight, but I'm just a girl, living under her parent's shadows, no one knows of my existence. I so much want to tell the whole world about myself, I want to make friends like every other persons, I so much want to know how it'll feel, being around people that are not my family, but it seems to be the dreams that'll never come through for me, my life has already been designed, even before my birth, my fate has already been written, even before I came to this world, but too bad that it's all in misery, too bad that I'll have to live the rest of my life as nothing, but a shadow. I wish I can do something about this, but there's nothing that can be done, not even my parents, or mother Lia, can help change my destiny. At times I wonder if there's any other person, suffering same fate as me, sometimes I wonder, if I'm a curse, but then, I know that no matter what, I still have to accept my fate, and live with it, as that's the only way, I'll have peace, and give my poor parents peace.

I stroll down to the mountain, where I usually have some rest, and get a better view of the forest. I sat on my usual spot, staring at the waterfall, as a smile crept on my face. The only thing I find fun, is using my power, it's so fun, seeing my power work on water.

My eyes changed to deep blue, as I gaze at the waterfall, making some chants in my mind, and in the next seconds, the water started bubbling really hard, and I just couldn't help, but chuckled lightly. I guess my power is the only friend I have, it is the only thing that keeps me company, whenever I'm bored.

"That's really a beautiful sight to behold." A masculine voice said behind me.

Snapping my head at the direction, I was welcomed with a pair of green eyes, smiling at me.

"Who...who are you?" I stuttered in fear, as I quickly stood up, and took a step back in fear, my heart thumping heavily against my ribcage, like it'll pop out of my chest anytime soon.

He chuckled softly, showing his one side dimple.

I got lost, staring at the handsome creature, standing before me. Mother had told me about werewolves, being the most beautiful creatures of all magic creatures, even the men are breathtaking, but all these while, I never got to meet or see any, as I've always been locked inside, and now that I see one, my doubt has been cleared, werewolves are indeed beautiful creatures.

"You're such a scared cat." His sweetest voice, jolted me back to reality.

Snapping out of my world of fantasy, I picked to my heels, and started running as fast as my legs could carry me. Mother warned me not to talk to any stranger, they might be one of the pack's enemies.

I felt like my legs were slacking, so I shifted into my wolf form, as I galloped farther into the woods, and soon, my wolf was exhausted, as I've shifted for three times in just two days. I slowed down my pace, as I started walking down the woods, making my way home.

I stride down the woods, my exhausted wolf, breathing heavily.

I was almost home, when my wolf smelt a strong scent, coming from nowhere. Even if the scent was far, I could feel that it was coming from a very strong creature, and the aura seem to be dark and intimidating. Mother had told me about how strong the Alpha's aura can be, and the one I'm feeling right now, seem not to be different from the one she told me about. But what could an Alpha be doing in the woods by this time of the night?

A strong wave of curiosity flashed through me, and giving in to it, I found myself, tracing the scent, trying to at least get a glimpse of where it was coming from. My wolf kept sniffing and tracing the strong scent, till I found myself in a beautiful garden.

Changing to my human form, I looked around the beautiful garden, filled with beautiful flowers, and trust me, it's really a beautiful sight to behold. I walked comfortably around the garden, like it belongs to my farher, sniffing and feeling every flower I could lay my hands on. You wouldn't blame me, right? I haven't seen a garden this beautiful in my entire life, and now that I've seen one, you wouldn't tell me not to savor the moment, yeah?

My eyes fell on a very beautiful flower, and the urge to pluck from it rushed through me. Not restraining myself, I reached out my hand to get a bunch of it, when a strong wave of violent wind, filled the entire place, sending me roughly to the ground, as I hurt my knees in the process.

Raising my gaze, I was met with the back view of a man, standing elegantly, just a few paces away from me...

I'm doomed...
