She looks up at the house for the last time. She will never come to this house again because she has already sold the house. This was the last memory left with her of her family. Her father had bought this house with great love. After the death of her father, Maxi got that house.

When Maxi turned five years old, her mother discovered that her cancer was in the last stage.

So Maxi's mother left her with her father. But before her mother died, she said one thing to Maxi, which is very helpful to Maxi until today's date.

Remembering her mother's last words, tears slide down Maxi's cheek. She was in the same place where her mother was standing twenty years before.

Maxi's doctor already told her that she had only one month. That's why Maxi wants to leave her daughter to her biological fathers before she dies. Maxi loved her daughter so much that she didn't want to leave her. But before death makes them apart, she wants to go to her daughter in a safe place. So she dies peacefully.

She wiped her tears in a hurry before her two-year-old daughter saw them and got upset. Maxi didn't want to show her daughter that her mother was weak.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Her best friend's Voice makes her turn back.

"Ravi, I already plan everything. Did you get the address?" Maxi smiled softly and asked.

"Well, it was not easy to find their address. You know they are always hidden in the forest. But here it is." Ravi holds a paper piece in front of Maxi.

"Thank you, Ravi! Thank you for being so helpful." Maxi said as she tried to take a paper from him.

"Not so fast, dear. I'm coming with you." Ravi said, putting paper in his jeans pocket.

"No, you are not coming with me! You have many other things to do except roam with me. Your dad will be angry at you." Maxi said in a serious tone.

"I already told him that I'm going out with you. So he allowed me. And about leaving you with your own? Girl, it would be best if you had a charming, hot guy like me with you. So you won't die alone in the middle of the road. I won't leave you. I'm coming with you." Ravi said and walked to the car. He put his bag in the car dicky.

"I don't need help, Ravi! I don't want you to be involved in my messy life." Maxi said.

"I'm your best friend. Only I know what's going on with you. So I'm coming with you." Ravi said in a serious tone.

"But ..." Maxi tried to say.

Ravi stops in the middle and turns her. He put both hands on her shoulders. He looks at Maxi with a serious face.

Ravi is a lazy, talkative and cheerful werewolf guy who is always roaming around Maxi so she won't get bullied by others or say he keeps with Maxi so he can clean up for Maxi's mess. "Baby, don't jump like that; you will hurt yourself like that." Maxi opened the back door and put April on the baby seats, and put on her seat belt.

"Now, this is good. We are leaving to not try to open these belts." Maxi said.

"Okay, mom! I love you!" April said with a big smile and kiss on Maxi's cheek.

"I love you too, honey." Maxi placed a soft kiss on the cheeks as she said that.

"Time to go!" Ravi said.

"Okay!" Maxi closed the door and got into the passenger seat.

Ravi starts the car and drives into the toad.

Maxi smiles saintly and wipes blood coming from her nose before Ravi can Notice.

"Father, we want a chosen mate," Albert said as soon as he stepped inside Alpha Nicholas's office.

But as soon as Albert saw Old Ye sitting on the chair. All three of them fell silent. Old Ye is a wizard who has been the most influential mentor of the pack for centuries.

Old Ye has countless powers that help him to help Alphas and see the future. All of Old Ye's predictions come true. He mostly used his tarot card to see everything hidden by others.

It's utterly white tarot cards. There is neither any picture nor anything written on it. Nevertheless, whenever someone touches that card, his future comes down in it, and seeing Old Ye tells what will happen. Because of this, the Old Ye is called only when the alpha knows something or fears upcoming danger.

Alpha Nicholas respected the Old Ye like his other family.

In the same place, Albert did not believe in his card, but he was upset about how his ancestors and his father trusted Old Ye more than his sons. Albert believes that the Old Ye is just a ruffian who confuses everyone by showing his little magic tricks and nothing else.

On the other hand, Danny was a quiet and brave son of Alpha Nicholas. He was more thoughtful and the opposite of Albert and Devid. Albert was angry all the time.

David was cheerful and playful among them. Different, but still, the three of them stay together. They love and care for each other, which makes them the strongest pair.

"What did you mean by that? A chosen mate?" Alpha Nicolas growled at Albert angrily.

"Alpha Nicholas, if you allow me, so I can help you find your son's mate," Old Ye said suddenly.

After Alpha gives permission, Old Eye turns to Albert, Danny, and David. He shuffled the cards and put them in front of him.

Danny and David draw two cards. Albert was afraid that Old Ye would find out about their true Mate.

"This card symbolises danger. Their mate is in danger. Maybe close to death." Old Ye explained to Alpha Nicolas.

After hearing that room filled with three growled triplets, they unconsciously react to Old Ye's words. When they realise how they react, they feel awkward.

"This is a lie. She can't be in danger." Albert says as he coughs lightly.

"Can you tell me about my card? What is the meaning of the knife in the heart?" Danny asked Old Ye in a worried tone.

"It's Meaning Rejected." Old Ye told him the meaning of the card.

Danny's eyes widened in surprise. On the other hand, Albert and David share an indifferent look.

"Don't tell me they were going to be rejected by their mate." Alpha Nicolas said in deep worry.

"I wouldn't say that. They already face rejection." Old Ye said.

"What? How did this happen?" Alpha Nicolas's face turned plain as he heard that.

"She must have found out what her three mates were doing here. That is why she rejects them. Am I right, young Alphas'?" Old Ye starred both three guys who showed different expressions.

"No. You are wrong! She can't reject us. She doesn't have the power to reject us." Albert said in an angry tone.

Danny and Davie also get up to leave.

"Father..." Albert held a warning growl.

They both are the next Alpha, and they don't like someone to control them.

"Sit back into your seat and tell me everything! Now!" Alpha Nicolas used an Alpha tone.

"Albert, we can't hide anymore," Danny said.

"Fine," Albert said and fell back to his chair.

"Now, who is going to tell me?" Alpha Nicolas asked, looking at them.

"Dad, we found our mate two years ago, and she is...." Danny told his father how they met and rejected his partner.

Alpha Nicolas got so angry that his face turned red. He rarely gets angry. But whenever it comes, it doesn't calm down quickly. Both the alphas became silent after telling everything. Old Ye only had a calm smile.

"You are! And as Alpha of the Dark Wolf Pack. Following our wolf rule. You are not allowed to stay in the packhouse until I allow you to stay." Alpha Nicolas said in a serious tone.

After hearing fathers words, both three eyes widened in shock.

"What?" Albert shouted in shock.

"Father, this is our home," Danny said.

"And I'm kicking you all out of the house. You are staying at a farmhouse in the middle of the woods." Alpha Nicolas said.

"In this winter weather? Do you want to put us in deep snow? Are you kidding, right?" David tries to smile.

"Do I like being in a joking mood? I'm serious. You three are staying in the woods until my next order." Alpha Nicholas said in a serious tone.

"But..." Albert tries to argue back.

"This is your punishment for rejecting your mate and hiding this important news from me. In our pack, we respect women and pups. And you three reject the most important women in your life. I can't act blind to this." Alpha Nicholas said.

"This is not fair!! I'm against this!" Albert said furiously.

"It's not useful if you keep against me. You have to thank the moon goddess that I won't tell our pack members about your act. If they know this, they will never accept you as their new alphas." Alpha Nicholas said in a serious tone.

"We are ready for this punishment, father." Albert wanted to say more, but Danny stopped him holding his hand and replied.

"Good. I hope you three learned Alpha duties before I give you your title." Alpha nodded in a satisfied tone.

"Are you going to tell mom?" Danny asked in a wary tone.

"Leave that to me." Alpha Nicolas said calmly.

Old Ye keeps calming all the time. When he sees them quiet, he coughs lightly and turns their attention to him.

"Now, do you want to know why you can't break your mind from her?" Old Ye asked.

"Yes." All three nodded their heads.

"Looking at David's card. It shows why you feel that way." Old Ye showed David's card and asked.

"Just cut it short, will you?" Albert began to become frustrated.

"Albert! Do not disrespect him. Don't make me add more punishment to you." Alpha Nicolas warns him.

"Albert, please! Don't make the situation worse than it's already been." Danny said to Albert.

"Fine! I'll keep my mouth shut." Albert waves his hands in surrender.

"So, as I say, your card is a white tree. And its meaning is a new life." Old Ye continued.

"New life?" Danny murmured.

"You can't completely end your relationship with your mate because a new life has tied you three to your mate." Old Ye said.

"New life?" Alpha Nicholas asked in confusion.

"What's new now?" Albert said in an annoyed tone.

"I'm not going to tell you in detail. But bigger things are coming in your life. So be ready for that. Because your mate is human, your bond is not broken fully. You know the rule of rejection. Your bond breaks when your mate accepts your rejection. But in your case, your mate is human, and your bond can break if she dies. Until then, you can't move on, no matter how much you try." Old Ye smiles mysteriously.

Albert, Danny, and David look at each other in confusion.

"Aren't you going to tell us exactly what's coming, so we can prepare for what's coming?" Danny asked in a worried voice.

"So she has to die if we want to move on?" Albert asked.

"Yes." Old Ye said.

"Don't tell me now you are planning to kill her." Alpha Nicolas mocked them.

"No. We can't kill her. She is our mate." Danny said in a hurried tone.

"Yes! Any other way to end this? I just want to know so that how can I save my a*s. I cannot live with the pain in my head." Albert said in a disappointed voice.

"You all know that karma comes back to you one day?" Old Ye smiled as soon as Albert asked this.

"Karma, huh! I'm always ready for whatever comes up." Albert said confidently and left the room.

"Don't forget your punishment." Alpha Nicolas reminds them.

Danny and David follow Albert, leaving Alpha Nicholas and Old Ye back in the room.

"Are you not going to tell me?" Alpha Nicolas worried tone.

"Well, in this situation, you should act more impotent than worry about your sons. They can get what they need, but they need to earn it." Old Ye said in a serious voice.

Maxi's POV

"Maxi, we are here." Ravi's voice makes Maxi open her eyes. Her back was hurting from sitting too long. She wants to lie down.

"Are you okay?" Ravi asked in a worried tone, seeing her pale face.

"I'm fine. Are we into their pack?" Maxi looked outside to see the place.

She didn't see anything clearly, just white snow falling around their car.

"We are close to their pack. But we can't go just yet. We have to talk to Alpha first. Leave it to me." Ravi told her.

"So, where are we now?" Maxi asked in confusion.

"We are in the nearest motel in their territory. Soon they will know that we are here. Stay in the car. I'll see if there is room for tonight." Ravi said and stepped out of the car and walked to the motel.

Maxi looks back to see April. But she bites her lips to hold her groan so that she won't wake her little princess.

Maxi blinked her tears as she saw April sleeping peacefully.

"Soon, you will be in your father's arms. I hope they accept you as my father did." Maxi smiles bitterly as she remembers her first day meeting her father. Soon she realises that she won't be able to see her or hold her daughter after tomorrow.

Maxi turns back and leans on her seat. Her eyes saw Ravi coming back, so she wiped her nose that bled from her emotions.

"There is only one room I can get for you. Come on, you and April can stay in the room." Ravi told her.

"And what about you?" Maxi asked.

"Hey, I'm a werewolf. My blood is warmer than yours. I can sleep in my car. But you can't because it is freezing outside. It's winter, girl." Ravi said as he pointed to the white snow outside.

"No, you can stay in my room." Maxi shook her head as she declared.

"But..." Ravi tried to say.

"It's decided, Ravi. And you know I won't change my mind. So don't argue with me." Maxi waved her hand as she said that.

"Okay, you are the boss." Ravi waves his hand up in surrender.

"Let's go inside. Shall we?" Ravi asked with a smile.

"Sure," Maxi said and opened the door to get out.

"First, I will take April with me. You can put more warm clothes on you. I don't want you to catch a cold." Ravi gave instructions to her.

"I'm not cold. Don't worry." Maxi said as she picked up her bag.

"Maxi, I told you not to pick the heavy things. It will hurt your back more." Ravi quickly pulled the bag from her and put it back in the car.

"My back?" Maxi looked at him with a surprised face.

"You think I didn't notice your back pain? I'm a wolf, and I can sense small details." Ravi said with a soft smile.

"Can we go?" Maxi said, getting out of the car.

"Room no..." Ravi yelled from behind.

Maxi just nodded in response and kept walking ahead. As she stepped inside, her eyes saw that the motel was filled with couples who were kissing and cuddling like they wanted to eat each other. Maxi frowned and turned back to leave, but her eyes caught a man pulling a beautiful girl with him. Maxi puts on her mask, but her eyes keep a man who gets into the elevator with the girl. A wave of emotions makes her heart turn cold. She hated the feeling that was called jealousy. She is feeling a broken heart.

"Maxi, why did you stop?" Ravi's voice makes her turn back.

Ravi was there with sleeping April in his arms.

"Why did you choose this motel?" Maxi asked in a cold tone.

"Oh, I thought it would be easy for us to meet Alpha. If you want, we can find some other motel." Ravi explained to her.

"It's ok. Let's go." Maxi waved her hand and started walking to the elevator.

"Hey, wait for me!" Ravi ran behind her.

Both get into the elevator. Soon they get into their room. Ravi put April sleeping on the bed.

"Maxi, take a shower and rest. Did you want something to eat?" Ravi asked in a low tone.

"I don't have an appetite for food," Maxi said.

"But you have to eat something before taking medicine. Now get fresh up. I'll be back in a short time." Ravi ruffled her hair as he said that.

"Why are you going out? For a drink?" Maxi asked.

"To buy food for you. You can't eat spicy food. I'm

bringing something that makes your stomach feel good.

"Ravi said with a still playful smile on his face and walked away out of the door.

"Be careful, Ravi. You are one of them. If they find you suspicious, they will fight with you." Maxi said in a worried tone.

"Well, every wolf didn't like another step on his territory. But we are not in their territory. This city was close to their boundaries. As I heard, there are lots of humans and wolves that stay here without fighting. So don't worry, I won't fight with anyone here." Ravi said before closing the door.

Maxi sighs helplessly. She looks at sleeping April, then turns to her bag. She pulled on the loose maxi and walked into the bathroom. She likes the arrangement in this motel. After filling the bathtub in warm water, she strips and steps inside.

"Ah... I need to do something about my back." She hisses in pain. Her eyes spotted a new red mark on her arm.

"Another one..." She murmured herself as she dropped water on the mark. It is not painful.

Maxi had many marks on her whole body. Sometimes the pain sometimes appeared. And it all happened because of her cancer.

"Ah... Why does my heart hurt like this? The doctor didn't tell me about this. I need to ask him." Maxi murmured and closed her eyes.

After half an hour, she opened Maxi's eyes. She didn't notice the long time she fell asleep. Every time she takes a hot bath, she falls asleep that short time. Now she shivers when the water turns cold. She stepped out of the bathtub and wiped her body. She looks at the mirror on the wall. Her fair skin shows many ugly red-purple spots on her whole body.

"Who wants this ugly body? Not me, not them. They want gorgeous women beside them. Most were werewolves like them. Not even humans want this body." Maxi looked at her body and said in a cold tone. Her eyes hate her body.

Maxi takes a deep breath to forget her painful body and wears a light blue chiffon maxi. Now only her hand was shown off, and her cleavage showed by her deep neck cut. Her breast becomes more prominent because of her pregnancy. Feeling good by hiding her marked body, she stepped out of the bathroom. As she walks to the bed, her eyes widen by seeing an empty bed.

"April?" Maxi skips her breath as she calls her daughter.

When she searches for her daughter everywhere, She finds her. The loneliness hit her hard. If she sends April to her father, she won't be able to see her dear daughter again. And she became lonely, just like she is now.

"April! Where are you?" Her voice turns low as she opens her room door and runs out of the room.

Her vision was getting blurry as she tried to find April. As she walked past one door, the door opened all of a sudden.

"Mama!" April's voice makes her stop in the middle.

"Apr...! Huh!" As soon as Maxi turns to voice direction, her eyes widen in shock.

There was a tall man standing at the door, and April was in his arms. She already saw him get into this motel back there. But Maxi didn't think she would meet him like this.

The man put little April down on the floor, and his green-blue eyes kept on her.

"Mama!" April ran to her.

"April! Thank god I found you." Maxi picked April in her arms and placed many kisses on April's face and forehead.

"Mama, I didn't see... You. You... leave me... in the room?" April asked in her toddler tone.

"I was in the room, baby. Anyway, let's go." Maxi wants to leave that place as soon as possible because she still feels intense eyes on her. And she will be staring at her.

"Wait! But uncle is good. Thank him." April said.

"Sorry, I forgot...." Maxi said to April.

Maxi turned to the man who was still in his place. He didn't move from his place.

"Thank you for saving my daughter, sir." Maxi bowed to him without waiting for his reply.

"So she found her mother, huh?" Women said, who walked from the man's backside.

Maxi looked at her. She remembers that girl. Maxi saw her walking inside the motel with the same man. Maxi figures out she must be his girlfriend.

A strong wave of emotion hit her, and before her body could react, Maxi turned and got into her room.

As she slams the door behind her, she falls down on her knees as she keeps April in her arms. She could hear her heart beating as loud as she had ever listened to that. A small line of blood flowed down from her nose.

"Mama... Blood..." April pointed at her nose.

"Oh..." Maxi let April go and tried to wipe her blood.

But she stopped as soon as April ran to her bag and pulled out some tissue. April ran back to Maxi.

"I... Clean..." April wipes blood from Maxi.

Seeing her two-year-old daughter, Maxi's eyes filled with tears. April carefully wipes blood. Maxi just sat there staring at April.
