Hailey's POV:

I close my eyes and bang my head to feel the dance classics on the stereo. Every intersection of the bar filled the loud music. Party people, wild scenes, unlimited alcohol

I beamed when I felt that someone sit beside me, I'm here at the stool bar wondering if I can bring a man in my condo but fate is so favorable to me, here it is a Greek god and a well-built maan diverted his eyes on me.

I face up the bartender and gesture him to lend me another shot.

I twisted my gazes at the man who's peeking at me sensually. I grinned at him and place my hand on my legs caressing them. My hand adventures from my legs to my waist until it catches up with my breast while I'm shutting my eyes. I halt and seized a glance at him. I made sure to check his ring finger before anything else.

His jaw is moving

I chuckle and get the two shot glasses and lend him the other one. I lifted my glass on him before I took a shot straight.

Damn. This alcohol satisfies me so so good.

"Hm?" the stranger man grinned while peeking at my body. I chuckles and went close to him. He tugged my waist and I felt his soft hand, exploring every sensitive part of my body.

"Do you prefer to move to my condo? "I seductively asked that made his kingdom wild. In just a seconds, his kingdom built a hard and huge mountain after I use my tongue to travel from his neck up to his earlobe.

I was massaging my head while putting my phone in my right ear. I smirk when I remember what happened last night.

I rolled my eyes when the caller Id showed on the screen, my secretary. He will better say something good.I answered the call while still shutting my eyes and ignored his greeting in a nervous tone

"What now? " I glimpse at the clock and it's quiet six in the morning. I bit my lip when I recall what the stranger guy did last night. He is just so great. I like it but of course, he's s just a toy for me.

I grinned when I remember my secretary. He's good in bed also. I always make sure that my secretary knows how to pleasure me. And of course,

"What the hell did you just say?" I held my head, my head hurts more.

I put my hair in a half pony tail and leave some strands on both side that partnered with my colored cinnabar blazer and trouser suit, and sprayed my favorite perfume, Clive Christian as the final touch. I glimpse at my reflection in the mirror. I was about to touch my forehead when I remember something. I chuckles bitterly.

"Eda. Pack up my breakfast, I'll go to the office now" I gesture my maid while going down to stairs and answered the call that keeps ringing for about a minutes now.

"Can I go to your condo tonight?" What does he think in my condo, a playground? I recall the numerous paper that I have to attend to. I sigh

"I can't. I'm here at my house, and loaded...of works"

"Alright" He sigh. I know we're feeling the same, disappointed. He waits for me to ended the call.

One of my rules also no one can down the call if I'm not the one who does that. Everyone around me knows that.

I gave him a look from head to toe. Big and heavy eye glasses, chinky eyes and skinny.

"Tell me about yourself "I leaned on my swivel chair after I sighed. He's the last applicant but I can't still choose. They don't have the characteristics that I want.

Out of hundred applicants, half of it has an age of 18 years old, undergraduate college.

He bit his lip and look down at my luxury floor.

"What? You don't know yourself?" I uttered in annoyance. The panic in his eyes instantly registered that causes his hand started shaking.

I took a glance at his application form and my instinct was right. He's only 18 years old, too young to be my fling. I started counting numbers from one in my head.

"Gerald Williams,18 years old, Child of Bernadette Williams and Rudolf Williams, Have two siblings, one girl, and one boy. Can play sports and have a dedication on work and a hard-working employee"

"Whatever. just answer me.."I diverted my eyes on him and turned my gazes at his face.

He looks so innocent

That thought made me irritated more. I peek at his body that brought him to feel uneasy, psh too innocent.

"Are you good in bed? I mean, Can you give me pleasure? "I seductively uttered that made him stunned. I breathes heavily and leaned on my swivel chair again.

"Get out" I coldly mumble and open my laptop. I think this is a waste of time. I let out a heavy sighed and face up the innocent boy when I sense that he's still not leaving. He keeps glancing at the floor and looks so scared. I look away.

A person that weak will never taste the victory of life. He should change himself.

"I-I'm s-sorry but I-I'm not going to pass to your c-condition" His voice is stuttering and can't look at me directly.

"I said get out" I look at my laptop again and start to type something there. I don't have any other choice.

I hear the door open signs that he leaves already.

I dialed a number on the telephone and it answered instantly.

"Give me the applicants from your place "I put down the call and look at my papers. I'm not yet starting but I got so stressed already. I only want to hire a city boy.

Not a province boy.

Or anyone from the province but I don't have a choice. I still need a secretary.

I heard my personal assistant's voice outside while knocking on the door.

"Get in"

"You have a meeting with the board members after lunch, Ms. Selveria" I stop signing and look at my laptop. I almost forgot about the meeting.

"You can leave now" I sighed and look at her when she's still here in front of me.

She looks idiot standing there.

"What? Don't you have a plan to leave my office?" I sarcastically let out and she shook her head.

"Your new secretary is already on the way, he's from the province that's why.."I face her up and look at directly in her eyes.

"not yet" I uttered in a sarcastic voice.

"I- mean u-uh yes you're r-right, Ms. S-Selveria"

I let out a sigh and gesture her to leave. She nodded and was about to walk out when she stopped again.

"M-Ms. S-selveria?"

"What now?"

"Your new secretary-I m-mean Mr. Sandoval says that he will arrive in Manila after lunch" She mumbled as fast as she can that's why my brows furrowed. I look at her when she's about to close the door.

"Wait-what? Mr. Sandoval? Am I right?" She nodded that made me stunned.

His last name is so familiar. I gesture her to close the door. Maybe he's not that, hopefully, but if I'm not mistaken-

I grinned

I didn't realize the time because I got so busy with the papers that I need to sign. Tsk.

I can't go for a bar-hopping, means no boys.

That thought made me annoyed. I try to focus again and got distracted when the door opens.

"Ms. Selveria, Am I going to order food for your lunch? You still have one hour before the board meeting starts" The angelic voice of my assistant filled inside of my office. She still seems nervous even she's working on me for a long time.

"Yes thank you" not looking at her I answered.

I'm typing something when someone knock on the door, I know it's Patty that's why I let her in. In my peripheral vision, she put the food on my coffee table. I gesture her to go out and she even reminded me to eat. I continue in what I'm doing when she leaves the room

The time is running and I didn't even realize that. I stand up after Patty reminds me that the board meeting will start any minute now. I sigh and look at my food, untouched

I will just eat later.

I put my limited edition red lipstick from Paris that looks perfect on me. I retouch my face before I spray my favorite brand of perfume.

It just got arrived last week and I ordered it from London.

They all keep quiet when I arrived wearing my fierce look, no one dared to look at me directly.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Selveria" I raised a brow when they greeted me without even looking at me.

What's wrong with these people?

"It's rude to greet me looking at the table. Am I look like a table?" I sarcastically said and they all glance at me instantly but it's only a second and they look away again.

"Let's start" I sit in my seat and look at the girl who's going to present. I gesture her to start and she followed me nervously. While in the middle of the discussions My brows furrowed and look at the presentation seriously.

"Wait. The other one is useless. Make it simple but useful. Make sure that the company can earn profit from that. C'mon people, you all know me. Direct it to the point I wanted to hear the proposal and didn't ask you to tell a story" I uttered emphasizing every word that letting out in my mouth. Some of them chuckle at what I said, it just stops when I glance at them.

I look at them and stand up.

"Let's end this for now. I still have an appointment.."And then I look at the girl who's presenting.

"And next time make sure not to waste my time" I added and walk out confidently. I heard their whispers blaming each other but I didn't mind it.

"Ms. Selveria, the applicant is waiting for you inside" Patty reminded me before I hold the doorknob. I open the door and all I can see is the broad shoulder of a man because I'm facing his back.

I fake a cough to get his attention. I confidently walk to my swivel chair and looks like I model. I turned my gazes to the man. I took a glance at him from his body up to his face but the thing that gets my attention is his eyes.

Do his eyes look gray mixed with sky blue?

This man seems so perfect. The man last night that I encountered is nothing compared to this man who's in front of me.He put his application form on my desk but instead of looking at it. I remain looking at him.

I'm right.

I leaned on the swivel chair while my arms are on my chest. I grinned and bit my lip, not bad. I don't care if he's innocent or not but he passed on my high standards.

"You're passed" I mumbled that made him surprised. I watch his actions while I'm leaning on the swivel chair.

I don't care if he's from the province or not. All that I'm just thinking is him.

I expect him to make mine. I said in my thoughts before I flashed a devilish smile.

Hailey's POV:

"So, Where will I start?" He raised a question after a towering silence. I glimpse at the clock.

2 pm

"Currently, you can start now" I uttered and face my laptop. I feel like I craved to go to the bar.

Let's test his innocence

That thought given rise to me to grinned, He fake coughs that's why I gape at him then I raised a brow.

"How should I call you, Ms..? What is it again?" I breathe deeply when I got irritated.No one dare to interrogate me like that, I'm well known tsk. That's why I don't prefer province boy.

I put my hand on my chin and place it on the table so I can go closer to him.

"Alright, Call me love so it's brief" Then I start to type in my laptop again, he's wasting my time. I still have a lot of works to do. I caught him got stunned that's why I smirk secretly.

" No, call me by my last name, Mr. Sandoval" I emphasize the last two words because he's irritating me so much. Didn't he know how to act as Secretary? Did he know this kind of job?

"Silveria" I leaned on my swivel chair and close my eyes. I breathe heavily and look at him directly.

"Are you messing up with me, Mr. Sandoval? Don't you remember that I'm your boss?" His brows furrowed, I remain looking at him. Are these the characteristics of a province people? No manners.

"Ms. Selveria will do" I shortly answered and look at my laptop again. I almost forgot that I'm having a business talk with the investors.

This man, tsk.

"Your food is waiting. Haven't you eaten yet?" For the third time, I sighed. I get the papers in my drawer and put them in front of him.

"Work, Mr. Sandoval. Don't ask me as if I'm just one of your friends" He remains looking at me before he could utter a word I pointed to the table using my fingers that not too far away from me.

I know he's going to ask that.

We started to work our businesses and I didn't get a chance to eat my lunch. It's evening now, and I took seriously my plan I got done with all of this. I attended three meetings today and it makes me exhausted but still

I look at the man who's busy working at the other table. I got a chance to stare at him. His serious eyes while looking at the laptop make him more attractive. I fake a cough when he caught me staring at him. He raised his brows in me asking if I have a question but I just shook my head.

I just ignore it and look away. I get the telephone beside me and call my assistant.

"Patty, Clean the mess here, thank you" The scratch papers were on my table and I find it not good. I stand up and go to the restroom, I brought my purse with me of course.

I also have a private room inside in my office, I'm using it when I'm exhausted from work and when I'm lazy to go home.

I retouch my face and change my clothes.

Wearing my tube-tight red dress and black stilettos-that made me hotter than h*ll I open the door and there I caught his attention.

His brows furrowed and look at his laptop again.

"It's 9 pm already. Why you go home now?" I get my other things on the table and open the drawer to get my car keys. He leaned on his chair and gawk at me.

"What?" I annoyingly uttered. Why I'm irritating him anyway, I should just be sweet so I can get him.

But he's annoying.

"Where are you going..wearing that kind of dress-well if it's still what you called dress?" I bit my lip. He should be seduced by my charm now but it's made me annoyed when he's just glancing at me as if I'm just nothing.

"Call me Ms. Selveria, Mr. Sandoval. I'm your boss" He glances at his laptop and try ignores me.D*mn it.

"Do you want to go with me?" I asked trying to calm myself. One wrong move, Sandoval and you're mine.

"Alright" I get my car keys and purse. I open the door and about to step outside when my phone rings.

"You sure you're not going?" I rolled my eyes, no choice. Maybe I can just be with him tonight instead.

"No, I'll go" I ended the call and place my phone in my purse. I felt that someone behind me that's why I look for it.

"You're going home now?" My brows furrowed while I'm asking. Why he changed his clothes?

He's wearing a gray long-sleeve now-but it folds in his elbow, wearing a black belt and black pants.

He looks away before he answered me.

"No, I'll come with you" I nodded and walk first, I don't know why but I automatically grinned.

Something special will happen for tonight.

Hitting two birds in one stone. I chuckle because of my thoughts.

"Why you're laughing? Are my clothes not suits for a party?" I instantly take a glance at him before I open the door of my car. I gesture him to hop in, which he follows me.

"No-Actually, I find you. hot" I seductively whisper and I almost jump when I saw how I affect him. He looks away which made me grinned while driving.

"Is that what you called bar?" He asked while keep glancing at the bar. We're still here inside of the car because of him.

He keeps asking me, tsk.

"Why? You don't know a bar? Don't have in the province?" I sarcastically ask. I'm sure they have a bar in Province, too boring if they don't have it for sure.

"Yes, I mean-Yeah there's a bar but it's my first time to go in, bar," I noticed that he's so amazing, tsk.

"My life was simple but I'm contented in my family" I breathe heavily and watch his reaction.

I look away and go out of the car now. I might be thinking about it again.

"Wait for me" I raise my hand while I'm walking first gesturing him to follow me.

The rock song welcomed us when we enter the entrance of the bar. I automatically smile, my home.

All of the girls keep looking at the man beside me but of course, they know me-what mine is mine.

"This is your life, right?" He went closer to me just to whisper in my ear because of the loud noise.

I didn't answer him and walk towards the counter bar.

"Two shots of Cuervo please" The bartender started to move to follow what I said. I felt that he sit beside me that's why I take a single glance at him. He's looking around

"Making out in public?" He uttered not in himself he turned my gazes at me. I grinned and give the other shot of glass to him.

"My life" I drink the shot and place the glass on the counter. I arched my brows when he's not yet drinking the shot.

"Drink it" He shook his head and place it on the counter.

"What?" I annoyingly asked. He stares at me for a minute before he gets the glass and drinks the shot instantly. I grinned and look at the bartender again.

He's so hot.

"Another one?" I chuckle while he's looking at the two short glasses put by the bartender.

"Yes, Don't tell me you have a low tolerance?" He shook his head and drink instantly the shot again. He even closes his eyes that took him more attractive. I swallowed hard, why my heart is beating is fast. It's my first time feeling like this.

"Meet Collin Jace Sandoval and Jace, this is Cyrus. He's my friend" duh, it's my first time to introduce someone, I just don't know why it feels like I need to introduce him to Jace.

I grinned and went closer to him. I saw how his reaction change because I remain looking at him.

Hailey's POV:

I turn around my swivel chair, hold my head, and shut my eyes for a moment.

Ugh! So early in the daylight and yet I'm so overwrought now!

I turn my swivel chair again until I heard the door opens. I face up who is it and arches my brows.

"You're late" He looks so fresh in the morning, not like me that looks so stressed at the beginning of the day. He closes the door and I noticed that he's holding two cups of coffee.

"My apology, Ms. Selveria.I went to Our Province that's why I just directly here at the company" I glance at him and I felt that my brows furrowed.

"Something happens, emergency" He added and give me the one cup of coffee, Cappuccino

I stand up to change my clothes. Ugh! I like my outfit for today but someone ruined it!

" Ms. Selveria?"I turned around to see him with so frustrating look. I took a glance at the table and to the floor.

"Call Patty" I uttered and open the door of my private room but I heard him mention my name again.

"Can you stop mentioning my name! Just direct to the point!" I annoyingly said. He breathes deeply and tilted his head.

"Sorry, I will just say it later, Ms. Selveria" I walk away but his reaction flashed in my mind. I feel guilty for no reason, What's happening to me?

My thoughts just let me more confused. You're not like this, Hailey. You didn't even affect every action of employees you have.

This can't be. I may be just be stressed that's why I'm thinking like this.

After I changed my clothes, I look at my reflection wearing a beige color dress. I sighed, this is not passed In my taste but I don't have a choice, I forgot to buy another dress so I have a stock for this room, I only wearing dresses between black and red no other than.

I don't know why I have this kind of dress...

I turn my lipstick into a simple shade because that is more suit in my beige dress.

I fake a cough before I sit on ny swivel chair, then I turned my gaze at him when he's so quiet. I just let it and look at my laptop, there I saw one of my flings email me.

Email is only for my work, How happen that he knows my Gmail account?

'Planning to go to your condo tonight'

I read in his email, I just realized that I read it aloud because Jace is looking at me.
