Prologue.
Once upon a time in the golden age of the Prosperous World where the impossible became possible, until a disaster turned the future of humanity into chaos. The excessive greed of three scientists and other ambitious people, longed to control the natural elements; to be Gods, a power as immense as moving mountains, splitting oceans, manipulating the sky and breathing even the very lava.
There was a small flask containing a thick liquid of strange appearance that combined the elements of water, air, earth and fire. It glowed in all colors giving the impression that it changed its appearance every second; a sip of that liquid would provide any living being with such elemental abilities, the flask was seen as the most powerful and desired trophy in life, kept in a subway laboratory.
This laboratory is located in the city of Torren in the country of Finare, also known as the Kingdom of Stone. Without valuable natural resources, yet inhabited with a moderate technological life, it is a place far from advanced cities.
Few knew of the existence of the secret laboratory, only a few financed the Armageddon project. A plan that consisted of dominating the world with unparalleled power.
Three years ago, one of the three scientists managed to manipulate the element of water, using himself as his own test subject. He eventually floated multiple drops of water, moved the liquid quickly or slowly, shaped it and lifted objects such as holding an inverted glass of water. He moved no more than a liter, yet he marveled at his prowess.
Three years later, the scientist, in alliance with two colleagues, two politicians and a representative of the SOC (Special Operations Center). The six joined forces to realize their ambitions; the Armageddon project was almost complete. The last phase was to initiate The Mighty Six. How realistic was the last step? Who of those involved would be the first to become?
At that instant in history the bright, colorful and desirable little vial was a disputed object. Subway laboratory well guarded by cameras, captured the brief celebration of the three scientists; however, the SOC representative and the two politicians aware of everything, within minutes boarded a private jet, from their respective countries traveled to the laboratory. The race for power began.
Fifteen minutes later. A sudden beeping sound stunned everyone from the lab and the entire city, triggering continuous minor tremors; in the secret subway, a huge white light was born, engulfing the city in seconds. Many terrified residents, blinded by the intense light said goodbye to their lives.
Seconds later... The light dissipated among the untouched city, even more confused residents wondered. What just happened?
Local authorities immediately investigated. After four long days of investigation, they found a mysterious laboratory in a strange condition: to find out what happened was not possible, it is an incomplete puzzle.
Two months after the event of The non-deadly Light. That's what the residents called it.
Several extraordinary news items were reported. The eyes of the Prosperous World set on Torren, on that distant city. The Stone Kingdom that had no attraction in mineral resources, just gained a fascinating one: the power of natural elements, the inhabitants developed powers over time. Fortunately, not to destructive levels. The mysterious light did more than just stun and glow.
One hundred and five years later, in the present day.
Most Torren residents developed genetic alterations more evident in the grandchildren, hence a distinctive eye color that at birth represents a natural element. They have a shiny satin look; blue symbolizes Water, green the Air element, brown represents Earth and red is Fire.
Those beings with these abilities are named Torrenders known as such in the Prosperous World. The name is the combination of words: TOP in selective evolution, originating from TORREN and living beings with PODER. They possess physical alterations of superior agility and weather resistance. Growing up, they receive training from a young age and graduate from the Torrenders school when they reach the age of majority.
However, the terror emerged recently... after so many years of not showing their faces, they became noticeable. They can be mistaken for rocks, with unparalleled power, a darkness that has a name, they call themselves The Rocs Dark: they are humanoids of rustic appearance, two meters high, potentates of brute force, is a new species of unknown origin.
Chapter 1.
August 26, 2221.
Place; Country of Trararus.
Time; 8:46 am.
Buzzing the sound of propellers, a helicopter travels to the Central Country to an important meeting at the SOC Main Building, at this time the aircraft flies over the neighboring country called Trararus.
"How much longer?" asks Ciro Taniko from the co-pilot's seat. A young man in his mid-twenties, white complexion, one meter eighty-two tall, somewhat short haircut, bright satin eyes-blues. He wears a short-sleeved shirt with blue and white diagonal lines, blue jean pants, white sneakers, a blue cape and sunglasses. He tends to be carefree, the youngest son of seven siblings. The Taniko family is prestigious and wealthy.
"A few minutes, Mr. Taniko," replies ZN41F in a robotic voice, an android with grayish limbs. The serial ZN41F; in the first letter indicates that they are last generation androids, they are expensive, among its abilities it can handle helicopters.
"Perfect," Ciro answers.
Ten minutes later.
Location; Central Country, Ken District, SOC Main Building.
A last minute meeting with the political leaders of the Prosperous World was arranged on the twentieth floor of the building.
In the Conference Room the eight Leaders are seated around the round table, plus the SOC General Director, and the SOC Lieutenant witnesses the private meeting standing.
"This is unheard of," says Mateo Reyes a little nervously. He is Finare's president, white complexion, short gray hair, black eyes, recently turned fifty years old. He has been president for many years, this is his second term.
"Plans don't always go to the letter, what can we do," says Matias Sarit, appearing calm. Newly elected President of the Central Country, a young man of twenty-six years old, white complexion, black eyes, brown hair; semi-long with a careless hairstyle.
"And to think that everything was done in advance," Enzo Roll said. General Director of the SOC, forty-two years old, light brown, short semi-gray hair, black eyes. He is somewhat cold, inexpressive.
"Twenty years lost," says Mateo Reyes, saddened. "How did it slip through our fingers?"
"The Rocs Dark are scary guys," says Axel Persah. Current president of Saiso, blond, short hair, thirty-three years old, brown eyes. Survivor of the Rocs Dark invasion long ago.
"The voice of experience spoke to you, Mateo Reyes," replies Bahir Mahem. President of Trararus, dark, short curly hair, thirty-five years old, green eyes. Trararus is a neighboring country of Saiso and he knows several details of the invasion.
"I was only president for seven months," says Axel Persah in a low voice, "and the rest of my term I lived in asylum in Trararus. He says ironically.
"Yes, for three years now. It is unfortunate that the Kingdom of Gold has fallen to the Rocs Dark," Mateo Reyes says in a somber voice. "Now the Kingdom of Stone has also fallen."
"And why now? Kidnap Torrenders?" asks Matias Sarit. "Why wait three years?" He is puzzled.
"Do you want to understand the talking rocks?" says Hernán Soles, sarcastically. He is a Lieutenant of the SOC. "Heh, it's like talking to a wall." He is white, tall, with short red hair, thirty-one years old in excellent physical condition; muscular with a black right eyepatch, his only eye is brown.
"Easy, muscle bag, we are not here for jokes," Azumi Sazekic answers. President of Zasorial, white complexion, long straight black hair, twenty-eight years old and bright satin eyes-blue. She is a Torrender with the power of Water, she entered the world of politics six years ago.
"Haha, I was telling the truth," said Hernan Soles.
"The issue here is that we are unprotected," said Everatt Saen. President of Reans, light brunette, long wavy black hair, thirty-nine years old, black eyes. In Reans there are several volcanoes, it is not easy to live there.
"Will we get out of this?" asks Sasha Vera in a sad tone. President of Avirde, white complexion, with long straight black hair, thirty-one years old, green eyes. She is usually more animated.
The Central Country is the cultural union of the seven Kingdoms. The Kingdoms are distinguished by the mineral resources provided by the subsoil that do not exist in any other kingdom, except the stone that is common.
The seven kingdoms;
Kingdom of Stone - Country of Finare (Home of the Torrenders).
Kingdom of Gold - Country of Saiso (Territory of the Rocs Dark).
Kingdom of Quartz - Country of Trararus.
Kingdom of Diamond - Country of Zasorial.
Kingdom of Obsidian - Country of Reans.
Kingdom of Emerald - Country of Avirde.
Kingdom of Iron - Country of Nanun.
Many years ago, legend has it that once there were continents called Africa, America, Antarctica, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Until one day they disappeared in a catastrophe leaving a world of water, the only remains of dry land and human civilization is the Prosperous World formed by the seven Kingdoms. And it is currently threatened by the Rocs Dark.
Continuing with the emergency meeting.
"Don't despair, we have a plan," says Enzo Roll in a confident tone.
"And what's the plan? Apart from having our doubles in the presidential office," says Matias Sarit.
"Well, the idea of not being kidnapped is also a good plan," says Azumi Sazekic.
"We still have a Torrender with us," argues Andrea Khond. President of Nanun, white complexion, redhead with short straight hair, thirty-four years old, black eyes. Nanun is the only country where snow falls.
"What?! You can't expect me to go alone to the Rocs Dark's lair!" exclaims Azumi Sazekic.
The presidents feel exalted.
"No, not you, dear. I meant a Torrender besides you," explains Andrea Khond.
"That's crazy," says Axel Persah uneasily.
"She's a talented Torrender who has trained rigorously," replies Enzo Roll.
"It's nonsense, how is a plan like that going to work," replies Bahir Mahem, upset. "Axel barely made it out of Saiso alive with the help of several Torrenders, and I gave him asylum in my country." He gives a slight sigh, "You can't imagine the horrors he saw."
"Actually, she won't go alone, and we hope she will," Enzo Roll says.
"Her first mission will be to find the Lost Hero," Hernan Soles intervenes.
"But no one has seen him for years, and how do they know he's alive?" says Sasha Vera.
"He lives in the country where I govern, but I don't know where someone as strong as him is, he's probably still doing his own thing," explains Azumi Sazekic. "Dracír retired and the years won't affect him, I think, but what will bring him back?"
"We think that if Dracír learns about the fall of Finare he will come back," Andrea Khond answers.
"The Zasorial Country is big, how do you find someone like that?" commented Azumi Sazekic.
"Torrenders can feel other Torrenders with empathy," says Andrea Khond.
"Yes, I know," says Azumi Sazekic. "But I know it could take forever, if I took a walk through Zasorial."
"He'll find Dracír in less time, that's what we're relying on," said Enzo Roll serenely. The others were asking themselves questions in their heads as to how he will succeed.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Knock, knock, knock!
"We are in a private meeting, come back later!" Enzo Roll exclaims.
The door opens without warning.
"I'm afraid I can't come back later, I've just arrived," says Ciro walking a few steps forward, he watches everyone.
"How dare you come in, who are you?" asks Enzo Roll expectantly.
"He is my cousin," says Azumi Sazekic.
"It's been a long time, Azumi, sorry I'm late," says Ciro.
"I didn't know you were coming," says Azumi Sazekic.
"I don't understand, who is he?" asks Enzo Roll.
"I am the envoy looking for Dracír," answers Ciro.
"So you were alive, Torrender," said Hernan Soles.
"There is another Torrender who was not kidnapped..." commented Matias Sarit. He didn't know whether to be relieved, at least there are more of them. "I didn't notice because of the sunglasses he's wearing.
"If Dracír is not here, does it mean that you haven't found him or he didn't want to come?" asks Enzo Roll with interest.
"Luckily I didn't find him," answers Ciro.
"Luckily?" Hernán Soles exclaims.
"Yes, the worst thing is that I wouldn't want to come," Ciro answers. "So what's the plan? There is always one."
"What a cheeky one! You fail in the mission and ask to be part of it," replies Hernán Soles.
"I didn't fail, I came immediately when I found out about the fall of Finare," Ciro mentions. "I still have to explore Nanun, Reans and Avirde, he will be somewhere."
"If you don't know, it seems he is in Zasorial," says Hernan Soles.
A feeling of bitterness and hope runs through the Torrender's body, after so long he finally has a clue. Zasorial? but I lived there for a while, he thought.
"How do you know what happened in Finare? The information is not public, cousin," questions Azumi Sazekic.
"I have my contacts," Ciro mentioned.
"The truth is that we do have a plan," says Enzo Roll. "It is to look for Dracír, this time with the help of a Torrender."
"A Torrender?" Says Ciro.
Year 2207, fourteen years ago.
Abigail Arihn has been a lively girl since she was a child. She is white, long straight copper-blonde hair, bright satin eyes-green. When she turned eight years old she entered the Torrenders School, therefore, she was discovering more and more her developed power, with a birth potential she could not control; causing from time to time disasters, accidents or explosions of riotous energy. Although nothing to regret, a few scratches had his companions, being whipped to the ground more than once by strong gusts of wind. In the Torrenders' genes they can withstand even explosions, which an ordinary human could not.
At the age of seventeen, Abigail meets her future master named Sebastian Zendri. He is light brown, somewhat robust, one meter eighty tall, short black hair, bright satin eyes-brown, by the time he was forty-eight years old. As the new teacher of the school where Abigail studied, he taught many students, he already had experience in the field, but nothing what he saw a year later, near the summer vacations.
At the Final graduation exam, where it consists of creating Energy Control blindfolded, transporting objects from one place to another to a destination The Box; it is an outdoor exam and most of the school grounds are lawn, which is nice to be there.
On Abigail's turn in front of three teachers and her classmates, with the blindfold over her eyes she felt a little nervous. She is standing from a central point on the grass field, in the middle of the ten small objects such as cups, erasers, etc. She raises her arms out to the sides and concentrates with what is around; little by little she extends her power of the Air element, it is like holding silk napkins at her fingertips; perceiving one by one the objects, she feels the silk folding. The next step is to levitate all ten objects at the same time and place them in The Box in front of her. She takes a deep breath, begins to use more power by squeezing her hands, the ten objects levitate at the same time: surrounded by air in a spherical shape. I did it!!!, she thought. Abigail with excitement her heart started to race, now the final step, to put it all together!!!, she thinks.
Without realizing it, Abigail increased the size of the spherical shapes to beach balls air; the teachers without any chance to warn her to stop, the ten beach balls merged, creating a mini hurricane over the school that blew everyone to the ground.
After the air dissipated Abigail apologized to everyone, explaining that she had been very excited. And no one could deny it, she has great potential that in the end she graduated, with the only condition of continuing to train with a particular Torrender master.
Sebastian Zendri offered to train her, his power is of the Earth element. If Abigail wanted to master a great power: she will need a strong will comparable to the power of the Earth.
Abigail's teacher took her to several places in Finare that were not very crowded and in open spaces such as meadows, so that no one would get rolled for Abigail in case of more complicated practices. They were trainings to push her to the limit of herself to where she can know her potential well, there was also relaxing time to rest or rethink what she didn't do well; the Torrender's curiosity to want to do more or experience something amazing, between little sleepless nights she imagined it and even in her dreams she trained, sometimes she didn't rest completely.
In September of the year 2220.
The twenty-one year old Abigail of one meter seventy-one tall, accompanied by her teacher. Sebastian, fifty-two years old with some gray hair, went to train in the Icy Mountains of Nanun with a request for permission. It was approved by the president of Nanun herself, Andrea Khond, who was interested in meeting Abigail.
Continuing with the meeting deprived, at the present time....
"Young Torrender has been training in the Icy Mountains of Nanun with her Master for almost a year," Andrea Khond explained.
"Who is she?" asks Azumi Sazekic with astonishment.
He cousin is surprised. Almost a year in that freezer! What are they trying to do, he thought.
"She is Abigail Arihn, the most talented Torrender I have ever seen in person," explained Andrea Khond smiling.
"Then the cousin, Abigail Arihn, the master and the Lost Hero, are our only hope," said Matias Sarit.
"As long as we can count on Dracír's help," said Enzo Roll. "We can be sure that we will rescue the rest of the Torrenders.
"All right, all right, but how much time do we have?" Mateo Reyes asks with some haste, in a nervous tone. "How long do you estimate the Rocs Dark will come back for us?
