Just an ordinary story about a boy who secretly loves a girl who is too hard to reach, too vague to reach, and too difficult to embrace. He was too persistent to give up on getting her heart. But is he still that way when his only hope fades away?

Chapter 1 Weeby Is Upset And Angry

The sound of a horn from outside her house made Weeby, who was putting on her shoes, immediately rush to speed up her movements. Without looking out, it seemed like Weeby knew who was coming. It was definitely Marcell, her boyfriend. Last night, the two of them were on the phone until midnight, discussing everything and laughing at silly things, until finally Marcell asked if Weeby was willing to go together tomorrow morning or not.

And of course Weeby wanted to, she didn't refuse it. Weeby immediately agreed without thinking, and this was the end, Weeby then stood up from her seat. With a wide smile, Weeby first met her father, who was on the back porch.

As Andika was reading the newspaper while enjoying coffee and eating fried bananas, Weeby smiled slightly before she interrupted her father.

"Dad."

Weeby's voice made Andika, who was focused on reading, suddenly raise his head. The man looked at Weeby, his gaze fixed on the face of his daughter, whom he loved very much.

Andika's smile brightened, "Weeby? Why?"

"I want to say goodbye to go to school first," Weeby said while getting closer to her father.

"Oh yeah, be careful on the road, okay?" Andika gave his daughter his hand to kiss.

"Weeby is leaving now, yeah? I'm waiting for a friend up front," said the girl with flowing hair, pointing ahead.

Andika's face turned confused, and with a furrowed brow, the middle-aged man looked at Weeby before finally asking, "You're not bringing your own motorcycle?"

"Not today, no problem, right?"

"Yeah, no problem, it's up to you. The important thing is to remember dad's advice, stay careful on the road and don't speed, okay?"

Weeby's smile was beautifully painted on her face. "Ready!" Weeby excitedly gave her thumbs up, then she laughed softly, until finally Weeby waved and left her father's presence.

Weeby went straight out of the house after grabbing her helmet, and as she expected, it was Marcell who was outside. Weeby smiled when her gaze met the boy's eyes. Marcell waved at her, while Weeby quickly brought himself closer.

Why did Weeby only realize now that Marcell's face was so handsome? She swore, and she honestly wasn't lying. No wonder so many people at school admired and liked that boy. Marcell was really loved by many girls.

Weeby didn't know whether she should be happy about it or not. Weeby knew that Marcell was popular because of his face. In fact, Weeby never thought that she would date that boy.

Now that Weeby thought about it, this was very strange. She remembered that she and Marcell often fought and fussed over things in class. But now, they were falling in love and dating. Damn, this was so unexpected.

"You feel like my personal driver, Cell," Weeby said with a chuckle when she was near the boy. Weeby then put on her helmet.

"Especially for you, I'm willing to do it, it's free anyway, you don't have to pay anything. What's not good enough for me?" Marcell raised his eyebrows, while Weeby shrugged his shoulders.

Marcell patted the empty back seat of his motorcycle and said, "Sit here quickly, it's getting a bit late. If you don't want to be late, you have to hurry."

"Yes-yeah, I'll ride it now, but you don't have to speed on the bike, okay? I don't want to fall and kiss the asphalt on my face."

"Do you doubt me? I'm an expert on motorcycles, I'm the king of the streets," Marcell said as he patted his left breast. Weeby pouted for a moment, before finally climbing onto Marcell's motorcycle.

After sitting comfortably, Weeby immediately said while touching Marcell's shoulder. "I'm ready, let's go now."

"Okay, will you hold on to me? You can also hug me if you want."

"No!"

"Don't forget, you're already my boyfriend, so there's no need to be shy. If you want to hug me as much as you want, it's okay, I'll let you!" said Marcell.

Weeby rolled her eyes and said, "Yes, I also didn't forget that we're already dating, but being told to hug you? Sorry, not yet. I'm sorry."

Marcell's sardonic smile formed, "Pretend you don't want to anymore, just say you're proud. Yesterday you were happy when we kissed."

A tinge of red quickly crept up on Weeby's pair of cheeks. "Ha! How can I be proud of you?"

Then, without a signal, Marcell immediately started his motorcycle, Weeby was shocked and reflexively hugged Marcell's waist. Marcell's smile just appeared, and while Weeby bulged her eyes, the girl was shocked by Marcell's behavior.

"You want me to kill? That's right, I almost fell!" Weeby immediately filed a protest, which Marcell only considered a breeze. Marcell let out a long chuckle.

"I told you that you have to hug me, so if you want to fall, go ahead, I'm going fast."

Weeby rounded her eyes wide. "Marcell, you're not kidding! I don't like it, if you're really speeding, get ready. You'll be-"

Before Weeby could finish her sentence, Marcell had already accelerated his motorcycle, Weeby squealed in shock, especially when Marcell wasn't kidding. That boy was really speeding!

Weeby immediately shouted loudly. Remind Weeby to kick Marcell's crotch when he gets to school later. That boy was halal to be executed. During the trip, Weeby's heart almost dropped to her stomach. Marcell didn't give Weeby any mercy, that boy had guts as big as his own sin.

Even though Weeby had screamed and cursed at that boy, it still didn't work and ended up in vain, Marcell was speeding up, overtaking other vehicles. At this point, Weeby had given up, for fear of falling, she was forced to hug Marcell from behind. Marcell, along the way, was just grinning incomprehensibly.

And in the end, in a short time, they had arrived at the school, Weeby fainted, and the girl got off Marcell's motorcycle staggeringly. Her guts, which had been on the verge of rupture, were now safe, and Weeby tried to calm down for a moment and control herself. The girl took a deep breath before finally removing her helmet.

Marcell himself had been laughing all along, enjoying himself. Marcell got off his motorcycle after removing his helmet. He stood facing Weeby.

"Are you really looking to die?!" Weeby's anger gushed out, her head felt hot this time. She stared at Marcell's face with her eagle-eyed gaze.

Instead of being scared by Weeby's expression, Marcell smiled. "But we survived, right?"

"You're so brainless, what happened earlier? I swear, I want to smash your head into the wall right now, you bastard!"

Marcell received a deadly blow from Weeby, with Weeby brutally doing so repeatedly. Marcell tried to dodge, even though he failed as well.

Weeby closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath. She knew that now she had to calm down.

"If you go home like this again, don't expect you to talk to me again!" Weeby glared while pointing at Marcell's face.

Marcell smiled and nodded indifferently.

Weeby was annoyed because Marcell didn't seem to take her words seriously. Marcell thought she was messing around or something! How annoying.

"I'm serious, why are you smiling like that?!" scolded Weeby while glaring.

Marcell nodded steadily after that, realizing that Weeby's anger had really exploded this morning.

"Are you listening to me?"

"Yes, yes, I did, and I apologize."

"Good. Just watch out if you repeat it again. This time I apologize to you, if something like this happens again, get ready to get you beaten!" threatened Weeby, before she finally stepped away from Marcell, leaving him in the parking lot.

"Weeby, wait for me!" Marcell called out, but his girlfriend kept walking, not even looking back at him.

"Weeby!" Marcell called out his girlfriend's name again, but Weeby still didn't care about him.

"Shit!" The boy swore softly, before finally running over and keeping pace with Weeby.

After he took his position next to the girl, Weeby still seemed to be annoyed with him, and the girl refused to move aside, her flat gaze staring straight ahead.

Marcell knew that he was wrong here. "By, don't be angry, I won't do this again, seriously! I'm not lying to you. It was just a joke."

"Your joke cost me my life, so don't find it funny, okay?" Weeby glanced at Marcell lazily.

"But I'm not completely at fault, if I slow down on the bike, we'll be late."

After Marcell's words were finished, the bell signaling the start of the lesson rang. Marcell smiled slightly at that. "Well, right? We'll get punished if we're late."

"Why did you apologize earlier and promise not to repeat what you did if you're not sorry at all?"

"That's not what I meant."

Weeby rolled her eyes, she ignored Marcell's words again. When she arrived at the classroom, Weeby immediately sat next to Uti, making both Uti and Marcell confused.

"I want to sit with Uti today," Weeby said while looking at Marcell, her gaze flat. Marcell was surprised by Weeby's words, as well as Uti herself.

"It's okay, right Ti?" asked Weeby, looking at Uti, who was sitting next to her.

Uti herself did not answer immediately, the girl looked at Marcell and Weeby in turn. She was confused for a moment, but finally nodded. Uti felt that there was something between Weeby and Marcell.

"Yeah, whatever you want."

"Thanks, Ti," Weeby replied with a smile.

"What?" Marcell pointed at himself. His eyes blinked fully.

Weeby, who was already seated, looked up at Marcell's face. "You're asking me? It's not obvious, is it?"

"I'm sitting alone?"

Weeby shrugged her shoulders unconcernedly. While Marcell immediately sighed softly, his lips pursed forward. There was nothing he could do at the moment, Weeby had already made her choice.

Before going to his seat, Marcell said something like, "Let's talk about this issue during launch, okay?"

Weeby didn't give any response, but Marcell concluded for himself that Weeby heard his words and the girl agreed. With unsteady steps, Marcell also stepped towards his seat and sat down languidly.

His gaze was directed at Weeby's back, the girl seemed to be talking about something with Uti, and Marcell believed that the topic they were raising was about Marcell's speeding incident on the road earlier.

Marcell's eyes did not leave Weeby, until he finally saw Uti looking at him. Uti was surprised and quickly looked away again.

Marcell smiled wryly, he was more convinced by his own guess. They must be talking about him.

"Why you?!" Novan suddenly sat next to Marcell, he slightly nudged his friend's arm.

Before answering, Marcell glanced at Novan for a moment. "What's wrong?"

"You've got a very wrinkled face this morning, is there a problem?" asked Novan.

"Something like that."

Novan followed Marcell's gaze as he continued to stare at Weeby. And now that he knew that his friend had a problem with Weeby, it seemed that way. Given that Weeby was currently sitting with Uti.

"Why is Weebly not sitting here?" asked Novan.

"Sort of," Marcell replied shortly.

"Looks like you have a problem with that girl of yours, right? What's going on? Why are you together?"

Marcell glared at Novan, who sighed softly before saying something. "Do you want to know my problem?"

"If you want to tell me something, I'll listen, maybe I can give advice. I'm a good listener if you want to know." Novan grinned, "But if you don't want to tell me, it's not a big deal, I can't force you, right? It's up to you."

Marcell exhaled tiredly. "Well, your guess is right, I have a problem with Weeby."

"You two had a fight?"

"Sort of, but nothing too serious."

"You and Weeby have been fighting like this for a long time, sometimes it's just a trivial matter that you two have been fighting, so I think you two will get better quickly."

Novan's words are not wrong either, and according to Marcell, this problem is also not a serious or too big problem. Marcell just had to apologize again, melt the girl's heart, and then that was it, the problem was solved. Marcell believed that, Weeby couldn't possibly be angry about this. Yes, Marcell was sure of that.

"I left with Weeby earlier," Marcell said. Novan listened happily. "Then I was speeding on the bike, and she got angry with me about it."

"Just as I thought, it wasn't that big of a deal."

"You're right, Van."

"I'm sure Weeby won't be angry with you all the time either, maybe right now her heart is still not at ease. Just wait until the break. Then solve the problem."

Marcell nodded slowly. Novan smiled as he put his arm around his friend. "Do you want me to accompany you to sit here? Instead of you being alone. I'll meet you."

"Where's Erza? Didn't he go?"

"I don't know, I think he didn't go; otherwise, he would have been late and in line with the other kids who were late too. So what do we do? Should I sit here with you?"

"I don't know if your boyfriend will get angry if you sit with me."

Marcell's words made Novan immediately grab the boy's head. "Your mouth! I still like girls, but I'm disgusted if I'm dating Erza. One more time you say that, I'll make sure you die tomorrow."

Marcell just laughed softly in response to Novan's words. "Okay, you can sit with me, I'm boring too, I have no one to talk to if I sit alone."

"Okay!" broke up Novan finally, immediately picking up his bag and immediately moving to sit next to Marcell.

Chapter 2 Making Amends

After the break bell was heard in the hallway, the lesson was stopped, and the students were heard cheering excitedly and happily. Finally, the torment of boredom was gone.

"The assignment was collected last Friday, just put it on my desk for those who want to collect it, everyone understands?" The teacher in front of the class explained while looking at the students in front of her.

"Yes, ma'am!" answered all the students in unison.

"Alright, now you can take a break, today's lesson is enough until here."

After that, the teacher left the classroom, followed by the students, who immediately lifted their buttocks from their seats, including Weeby herself. She had to leave the classroom immediately.

"Weeby, where are you going?" Uti asked while holding Weeby's hand, and she looked up.

Weeby smiled for a moment before responding to Uti's question. "I'm going to the restroom, do you want to come?"

Uti grimaced, then shook her head slowly. "I don't think so."

"Okay, I'll go first then."

Uti nodded, Weeby immediately left her seat, stepping away from the class, Marcell who saw the girl leaving alone, immediately laughed, he felt that this was his chance. Marcell must talk to Weeby, about the problem this morning, of course. So that everything is settled and there are no more things to fuss over or argue about. Marcell also knew that he had to take action, and apologizing was the way he was going.

Yes, even though Marcell had apologized before, it seemed like Weeby was still angry with him.

"Wait a minute, By." Marcell immediately caught Weeby's hand, making the girl gasp in surprise.

Marcell prevented Weeby's steps, making Weeby sigh and close her eyes for a moment. The boy blocked her steps, standing in front of Weeby. And Weeby could already guess what Marcell was going to do now.

"I'm going to the restroom. You'd better step aside," Weeby said in a lazy tone of voice.

"It won't take long, and I think you can stand it for a while."

Weeby's lips pressed together as her eyes rolled lazily.

"Listen to me first, okay?" Marcell continued because Weeby was still keeping her mouth shut.

Actually, Weeby herself was lazy, but she also knew that all this had to be done. Therefore, in the end, she nodded slowly. Her eyes fell on Marcell, who was now smiling at her, revealing her dimples. Damn, again, Weeby was mesmerized by Marcell's good looks.

"I'll give you three minutes," Weeby said.

"Okay, this won't take long. I just want to discuss and straighten out this morning's problem."

And look at what Weeby guessed, she wasn't wrong. That's exactly what Marcell was going to talk about. Well, Weeby would listen to him first.

Marcell suddenly held Weeby's hand tightly, making her immediately startled, but she let it go instead of resisting. Marcell squeezed Weeby's hand, his deep gaze not turning away from Weeby's face.

And Weeby felt her heart suddenly beat very fast.

Marcell swallowed, then he began to say, "About this morning, I want to apologize, seriously; I had no intention of making you angry. How could I be that depraved? I don't want to fight with you again."

A rough sigh escaped Weeby's lips. "Do you know that your reckless driving could cause us harm? Other road users will also be disturbed. You should know that."

"Yes, I know. I was wrong."

"In my opinion, we were just lucky that there was no accident this morning. I swear, remembering that makes me sick to my stomach. You dared death."

"I promise I won't do that again."

Weeby nodded. "Good, I'll hold you to that promise. Well, you weren't entirely wrong, you just didn't want us to be late for class, but you were going too fast on the bike."

Marcell understood that. "So, will you forgive me? I don't want to get angry with you, we're dating, how can we get angry like this?"

Weeby raised her eyebrows while looking at Marcell, followed by a mocking smile that appeared. "What if people in a relationship can't get angry with each other? It's only natural, there must be things that are fussed over."

"And I don't want that to happen. How do you answer? I'm waiting."

"I'll forgive you if we go for a walk after school."

The corners of Marcell's lips lifted, expanding into a wide smile. His head nodded enthusiastically. "I'm ready! I'll follow your wishes, whatever you want, I'll immediately agree."

Weeby smiled and said, "Okay, I'll wait for your promise after school. Then step aside first, I need to go to the restroom."

"Do you want me to take you?" asked Marcell, meaning to joke. He teased Weeby by raising his eyebrows repeatedly.

Spontaneously, Weeby pinched Marcell's waist. "What the hell! I don't need it. Do you want to be accused of nonsense by other students who will see?"

"Ow!"

The pinch of Weeby's hand was very hard and painful, making Marcell groan in pain. The boy rubbed his waist at the point where Weeby had just pinched him. Marcell's lips pursed forward.

"It really hurts to pinch."

Weeby smiled amusingly. "And it's worth it for you. Anyway, I'm going to the restroom."

"I'm sure you'll have fun when you get home from school, I can guarantee it. You'll be smiling all the time, By. You can take my word for it."

"Really? Just watch out if it gets boring later." Weeby narrowed her eyes as she pointed at Marcell's face.

"You won't be bored, especially if you go with me, your handsome boyfriend will make you smile like crazy."

"What the hell?" Weeby gave a short laugh, and Marcell also chuckled. Now Weeby became curious herself. "Where do you want to take me? A little spoiler is fine."

"Do you really want to listen now?"

Weeby nodded enthusiastically.

"Okay, here's your ear, let me whisper," Marcell ordered, which Weeby immediately obeyed. The girl brought her ear closer, while Marcell moved his face forward with his lips directed at Weeby's ear.

"Being too nosy is not good."

After saying so, Marcell hurriedly avoided Weeby, and the boy stepped away in anticipation that Weeby would suddenly finish him off. Marcell needed to remind him that if Weeby had hit or pinched him, it would have been very painful. Marcell could guarantee that, he wasn't lying.

"Marcell, how annoying are you!"

Marcell ran away from Weeby, and the boy went back into the classroom and headed towards his seat. Meanwhile, Weeby, who was already furious, tried to control her emotions. How could that boy play with her like this.

Weeby stood in the doorway of the classroom while looking at Marcell with a disgusted look. "I swear you'll be unlucky for messing with me," she shouted.

Marcell chuckled, the boy was now sitting in his seat. "Secret, you'll find out after school. A little patience won't kill you, right?"

Weeby stomped her feet irritably on the floor while rotating her eyeballs lazily, then she continued her destination towards the restroom. Weeby clucked and grumbled the whole way.

While Marcell was still laughing, it piqued Novan's curiosity. He looked at his friend with a wavy forehead.

"Why are you with Weeby?"

"I'm fine with her," Marcell replied, making Novan smile. For some reason, the boy felt happy about the news.

"Well, what I'm saying is that you and Weeby won't be able to get angry, and your problems aren't that big in my opinion."

Marcell relaxed his shoulders. "But Weeby hasn't forgiven me completely yet."

"What does that mean?" Novan looked confused. He looked deeper and deeper at Marcell.

Before explaining, Marcell took the time to sigh quite heavily. "Weeby wants me to go for a walk after school, and then she wants to forgive me for this."

"That's good, you can get closer to Weeby. It's also good for you to spend as much time as you want with your girlfriend."

"Yes, I have nothing to lose either."

"Actually, to be honest, for some reason I still don't realize that the two of you are dating. How do I explain it?" Novan was confused, he looked at Marcell while thinking, looking for the right words.

"What do you mean? I'm not compatible with Weeby?"

"That's not it," Novan said, shaking his head. "You're wrong, the two of you seem to get along really well, I even support it. I just mean it's weird."

"And because of what?"

"You know, you two used to fight and fight all the time, but now you're dating, it's not really something weird, it's just like, wow!"

Marcell clucked his tongue, his sitting position directed to Novan completely. "Listen to me, Van, listen to my explanation."

Novan nodded slowly.

"I like Weeby, and Weeby herself also likes me. So since we both like each other, it's only natural that we date, right? It's that simple."

Novan smiled mockingly. "So it's true what people say, hate and love are very different. The proof is that you and Weeby are now dating."

"Tsk, this kid." Novan groaned softly as he got a sudden toyoran from Marcell.

"It hurts!"

"You're wrong, it's a different context. I don't hate Weeby and I don't hate each other. I haven't hated each other since the tenth grade. I just enjoy doing things to him and making him upset. Do we both hate each other? I don't think so."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say." Novan chose to give in and not discuss anything further. He changed the subject. "So, where are you taking Weeby after school?"

With Marcell's question in the air, Weeby had just returned from the toilet. Weeby and Marcell's gazes crossed, Marcell grinned, while Weeby looked sarcastically at Marcell. Weeby sat in her seat again with Uti.

Not long after, the two girls talked and left the class-who knows where they were going? Maybe to the cafeteria. Marcell didn't want to know that either.

"Are you sure Weeby is no longer angry with you, Cell? It's like she still has a grudge against you."

"She's just annoyed because I don't want to answer her questions."

"What did Weeby ask you about?"

"She asked me where I wanted to take her, I didn't answer, and she got upset in the end. But you have to believe that I've gotten better with Weeby. You also know that kids like that."

"I don't know, I'm confused by the dating style of the two of you, how can you date like that? I swear, Cell, you two are different from the others. You and Weeby don't look like you're dating."

Marcell hurriedly replied, "Whatever you want. But anyway, do you have any advice for me? Where should I take Weeby?"

"Well, you don't know where to take Weeby?" Novan was surprised.

"Actually, I don't want to answer Weeby's question, the reason why I don't give her an answer is because I'm confused about where to take her."

"My advice is to think about what Weeby likes, then take her there."

"What does Weeby like?"

"You're her boyfriend, how could you not know?" Novan was annoyed by Marcell's answer.

"That's strange, I don't know." Marcell shook his head innocently.

"What the hell kind of daters are you two? You don't even know each other's preferences." Novan teased while looking at Marcell in amazement. "I can't believe it, seriously!"

Not wanting to be teased, Marcell defended himself. "I've only been dating Weeby for a short time, it's only natural. We've gotten to know each other over time. So, it's better for you to give advice than to keep teasing me."

Novan suddenly took something out of his bag. "Do you want it? I have two of them."

"Movie tickets?" Marcell blinked his eyes. "Here for me!"

Novan immediately pulled his hand away as Marcell was about to grab the movie tickets in his hand. Novan smiled wryly, while Marcell suddenly bulged his eyes.

"Eits, it's not that easy!"

"Here for me, instead of two, who are you going with? You're single."

"Wow, just because you have a boyfriend now, you're so cocky?"

"Well, that's a fact." Marcell chuckled softly. "What's so hard about accepting reality?"

Sighing softly while rotating his eyeballs, Novan finally replied, "Are you already asking for tickets? You're teasing me all over again. I refuse to give you tickets to this movie theater."

"Yes, I apologize, but seriously, Van, just for me here. If not I'll just replace it, how much is the ticket?"

Novan's mysterious smile has now formed. "One ticket costs three hundred thousand, take two at once, and I'll give you only five hundred thousand. How's that? It's cheap, right? Better you take two at once, Cell, so you don't lose out."

"You want to drain my wallet? You're right, the price is unreasonable. I won't take it then."

"No way." Novan didn't care, he now pocketed the two tickets into his uniform pocket.

"Van, are you serious?"

"Why would I mess around?"

"You're taking a lot of profit, driver, the other ticket price doesn't even reach a hundred thousand."

"I'm smart, I mean, do you want it? It's scheduled for seven in the evening, if not, I don't lose anything."

"I refuse one hundred percent!" Marcell said finally.

Novan smiled wryly. "Well, that means you have to think about where to take Weeby."

"To the movies is fine, and I can buy tickets there. Instead of buying from you, I'll end up spending more."

"Whatever you want."

"Well then, for whom do you have two tickets for? Do you want to invite someone?" Marcell smiled mockingly. "Or do you want to take Erza? You two want to go out to the movies? It's okay that Erza doesn't go to school today because she's sick, right? Why don't you take him to the movies, so he'll get better soon?"

"Just tease me, I want to go with my crush, don't talk too much, let's go to the cafeteria now that the hour is over. Come on!" Novan stood up from his seat, then he pulled Marcell's hand to immediately lift his body from the chair he was sitting on.

Chapter 3 Reject From Uti

Uti is cleaning up the assignment papers from her classmates, trying to organize them as neatly as possible.

Just before the bell rang, Uti was told by her math teacher to collect all the assignments and put them on the teacher's desk. Without any argument, of course, Uti immediately obeyed.

The chubby girl was now alone in the classroom, all her friends had gone home.

"Hey, can I help you?"

A heavy voice startled Uti, and the girl hurriedly looked back. And apparently she was wrong, she was not alone in class, Novan was seen walking towards her. The boy hadn't gone home yet, making Uti confuse herself.

"Why aren't you home yet?" Uti asked in a snappish tone of voice as Novan now stood next to her.

The tall boy with milky-white skin smiled slightly. "On purpose, waiting for you."

Uti stared at Novan uncomprehendingly, her forehead furrowed. However, instead of asking further questions, the girl just kept quiet. Uti ignored her, shaking her head slowly as her breath came in short bursts.

Novan suddenly sat down at the teacher's desk, momentarily choking Uti, Novan's eyes locked on Uti, who was still busy organizing the mess of papers on the desk.

"So, do you want me to help you? My hands are idle."

"There is no need, I can do it myself. This is just about finished." Uti answered without looking at Novan's face, then she added, "Even though it's my job, you don't need to help with anything."

After everything was done, Uti held the stack of papers and then looked at Novan flatly. "Thanks for your kind offer, I'll go to the teacher's room first."

Without waiting for a reply from Novan, Uti immediately left the classroom, or more precisely, left Novan. The girl walked with steady steps, Uti was in a hurry, and she had to get home quickly.

Meanwhile, Novan, who was left in the classroom, looked confused. Uti refused his help, even though his intentions were good. Novan quickly left the classroom. He could see Uti, who was starting to move away from him, as Novan hurriedly chased after the girl.

It didn't take long for Novan to match his footsteps with Uti. He was now standing next to his classmate.

"Then I'll accompany you to the teacher's room then." Novan said softly.

Uti suddenly halted her steps. She looked at Novan with confused eyes mixed with annoyance. The two stood facing each other, Novan wearing a smile, while Uti sighed softly.

"What do you want to do?" Uti asked sharply, her tone harsh. Uti stared at Novan with her eyebrows almost drawn together.

Hearing Uti's question made Novan confused. "Yes, I want to help you, isn't that obvious?"

"I know that you have other intentions."

"What other intentions?" Novan asked back. Honestly, he didn't understand what Uti had been saying. It was ambiguous and a little confusing.

Before answering, Uti closed her eyes and let out a long breath. "Look Van, we're in the same class, you're my friend, and I'm your friend. And you know that we don't really get along in class. So, isn't it weird that I asked you that?"

"Yeah, I know that, but regardless, I only mean well, and I want to help you. Isn't that okay?"

"But no, thanks. I can do it myself. I'm not having trouble either." Uti forced a smile, then began to walk back, leaving Novan in place.

"Why is that girl so annoying to me? I wonder," Novan said to himself, his eyes staring at Uti's back.

Instead of walking away because Uti didn't expect him to, Novan chased after the girl even more. For some reason, Novan was attracted to Uti, he had to admit that. Looking at Uti, Novan felt like he was seeing something else. That girl intrigued him.

Novan re-aligned his steps with Uti's, to Uti's surprise, which made her eyes wide.

"What are you doing following me again?" asked Uti exasperatedly, she growled while looking at Novan with disdain.

The boy shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know, I just wanted to walk to the teachers' room with you. And, oh yeah, you can't kick me out." Novan smiled-the kind of smile that would make any girl instantly smitten.

"Whatever you want," Uti finally said. She gave up and didn't want to argue with Novan. It was pointless and would waste a lot of time. Meanwhile, Uti also had to go home soon. Uti herself didn't want to delay either.

During the trip, Uti chose to remain silent, her lips locked tightly together. Her gaze continued to be directed forward, not once did she glance at Novan beside her. Uti didn't hate the boy, she just felt that she didn't really get along with Novan.

Novan himself was also silent, but he stole a few glances at Uti. Novan kept pace with her with his hands buried in his pants pockets.

When they reached the door of the teacher's room, Uti turned and faced her classmate.

"It's here, you can go home now." Uti said, her voice flat, and then she went straight into the teacher's room without waiting for Novan's response. Novan remained silent as Uti entered.

Three minutes later, Uti came back out and was surprised to find Novan still there.

"Why aren't you home yet? Do you want to stay here?"

Novan replied lightly, "Waiting for you to come out."

"I'm going home now."

Uti walked on, not caring if Novan was still here or staying the night. Uti had done her job, and now it was time for her to go home.

"Ti, wait a minute."

Novan's words made Uti, who had taken three steps away from the boy, stop. The girl turned around, all her attention now directed only at Novan.

Novan immediately approached Uti again. "Look Ti, I've got something. Will you hold on?"

One of Uti's eyebrows shot up, watching Novan as he took something out of his bag. She doesn't know what it was, but Uti was suddenly quite curious.

Then Novan smiled, and said, "I have two movie tickets, scheduled for tonight. If you have time, would you like to go with me, Ti?" Novan grinned, his white teeth now clearly visible.

Uti's gaze fell on the ticket in Novan's hand. It was only a split second before she turned her gaze towards the boy's face again.

Uti's non-answer prompted Novan to ask again. "So what's your answer, Ti? Do you want to go? It's a shame if you don't use the ticket. If you want, let me meet you tonight.

"I can't," Uti replied, her voice sounding steady. She also shook her head.

The sparkle in Novan's eyes that had been so bright earlier, had now begun to fade because of Uti's answer.

"Why?"

"I'm busy tonight, you better find another friend. Sorry, I can't go."

"Oh." Novan nodded awkwardly. For a moment, they looked at each other and were trapped in silence. Novan then smiled and said, "I'm fine then, just call me later if you change your mind."

"I don't think that will happen, I'm really busy tonight, I won't be able to leave the house."

"Okay." Novan forced his smile to come out.

"I'll go first then."

Novan couldn't force Uti, of course, so he let her leave his presence. Novan's wish to take Uti to the movies had failed. But Novan wasn't too sad or bothered about it further, he could try next time. And for sure, Novan realized that he was indeed interested in this girl.

Not wanting to stay here, Novan sighed softly, before finally deciding to just go home. What about the ticket? Hey, he doesn't know. Let Novan think about it later, maybe he will sell it to Marcell? It's okay if the price is cheap, like his friend wants.

Meanwhile, Uti walked quickly away from Novan, afraid that the boy would catch up with her. Hurrying to put on her helmet when she was in the school parking lot, Uti grabbed her motorcycle and hurriedly rode it away from her school.

Thankfully Novan didn't chase her, Uti already felt her heart pumping so fast and beating so fast, even though Novan only asked her to go to the movies together. Uti couldn't, she was saying something serious and wasn't lying about it. Shw couldn't go, she was always busy at home.

Besides, why did Novan ask her to go? Why did it have to be Uti? Why didn't he just ask another girl? It was very strange, Uti didn't know what was wrong with him.

Uti was rarely close to a boy. Not rarely, actually, she never was! No one approached her, and Uti knew the reason behind it, Uti understood why none of the boys wanted to approach her. It was because she had a fat body, and Uti felt that she was not pretty. However, that didn't mean Uti was sad or upset about that one fact, Uti was fine. She was fine. After all, Uti had no intention of getting close to any boy! It never occurred to her that she wanted a boyfriend. Uti didn't need one, she felt safe being alone like this.

Uti just wanted to study, study hard, then graduate well and get into the university she wanted. Uti also wanted to make her mother and father proud.

Uti doesn't need a boy to be her boyfriend, for the time being, this is what she wants. Uti still feels alone at home. Besides, she doesn't want to get hurt and go crazy if she gets dumped by a jerk who plays with her heart.

Her life was still ahead of her, there were still many goals and achievements that Uti was aiming for.

Not wanting to think about that anymore, Uti shook her head and sped up her motorcycle to full speed. Uti wanted to get home as soon as possible.

Seeing Uti leave the school parking lot on her motorcycle, Novan wanted to follow her. Novan had to know where Uti's house was, but honestly, he didn't know. However, Novan was forced to undo this desire, whether he wanted to or not. There was a reason behind that, of course, which was that Novan didn't want to get caught by Uti and that the girl would get angry with him. Yes, Novan couldn't be sure that Uti would be angry anyway, it could be that Uti was just confused, or Novan could make up excuses. But, to anticipate things that are not desirable, it is better for Novan to just stop.

Novan decided to go home, his house was not too far from the school, and after fifteen minutes on his motorcycle at a moderate speed, he had arrived at his house.

Novan lived alone in a big house; actually, he lived with his father, but because his father was busy working and rarely came home, Novan thought that he already lived at home alone. However, when he arrived home and parked his motorcycle, Novan was surprised by a car parked in his yard.

Novan squinted his eyes, "whose car is that?" he asked confused. Novan didn't recognize the car. As Novan remembered, his father's car was black, he wouldn't doubt his memory, even though the man rarely came home, Novan clearly remembered what color his father's car was. Meanwhile, the car that was now nearby was red.

To answer his question, Novan finally turned his gaze, unfortunately, he saw the door of the house open from outside, which made him immediately widen his eyes. Why was the door open like that? No one had a key to the house but him.

As his mind was currently occupied by all sorts of complicated thoughts, Novan finally hurried on his way. All he needed now was the answer to the question he wanted. Novan wanted it, obviously. just in case someone broke into his house and went inside to steal. But, would there really be burglars in broad daylight? Besides, there was a brand-new car in front of the house. And even if it were a thief, wouldn't he openly leave the front door open like that?

Novan had now entered his house, his steps quick and steady. The living room looked empty, and the kitchen was the same after Novan checked. Likewise with the back garden of the house. Everything is still as before, there is nothing unusual.

Until finally Novan let out a long sigh, he turned around to decide to go back into the house. But that's where Novan stood, tense, and he saw his father. Really his father! Standing in the doorway staring at him, the man smiled while slightly waving his hand to Novan.

Novan had not yet recovered from the shock that had ambushed him. He was still surrounded by a fog of confusion. How could this be? Dad and the car in front of them? Novan suddenly blinked his eyes as a thought crossed his brain.

"Hey, why are you so quiet? Don't you like seeing me come back home?"

Novan immediately realized, he laughed softly, then the boy smiled and hurriedly approached his father. Novan hugged his father, which his father returned with an equally tight hug. The hug lasted for what seemed like seconds before the two of them now stood looking at each other and facing each other.

"Dad, when did you come home? Novan thought there were burglars who broke into this house."

"Thieves?" His father looked at Novan with a furrowed brow and one eye squinted upwards. "Why do you think there was a burglar? Didn't you see the car in front?"

"Yes, i saw the car, that huge thing, did i not see anything?" Novan snorted softly, "Is that dad's car? New car?"

"Not new, I bought it two weeks ago." Dad smiled mischievously at Novan.

"That's a new name, Dad."

The man in front of Novan just chuckled softly in response to his son's words. "Yes, it's a new car."

Novan nodded his head slowly, "Let's go in first, i want to change clothes first, after that, we'll talk."

"Alright, I'll wait for you in the living room, okay?"

"Okay." Novan responded without another thought.
