Time for a Story new beginning

The Moon was shining and heavy footsteps could be heard. The streets were empty and no soul could be seen. Not so far away a woman was seen running across the empty streets. A man all in black walking closely after her. His knife shining in the moonlight. The woman came across an empty alley which soon ended she turned around and saw the man coming near. Please don't come near she screamed. The man was about to stab her when......

'' Aish! Again!!!'' lina said while heavily breathing.

Again this horrible dream she thought sighing as she got up from her bed, it was still dark.

She wanted to drink some water Aish, sighed again as she took the empty water bottle. Seems I have to go get some water with that she left the room while walking along the corridor she saw her father in his room he was talking to someone as she got closer she saw that this someone was no other than her stepmother.

Her real mother suddenly disappeared leaving no trace behind.

She wanted to go to her father but she couldn't why? she had her reason. Shaking her head she walked past their room not noticing someone was looking at her.

Lina POV

I passed father's room and was about to go down the stairs when I heard a voice

''I asked you to stay in your room, what are you doing here?'' my stepmother asked me furiously. I turned around and said

'' As you can see I came to get some water I showed her the empty water bottle''.

'' Talking back! huh?!'' she said furiously.

''That's how a conversation works right?'' I countered ''And by the way, you asked me to stay in my room UNTIL I finish Nath's assignment I am done so I don't have to be there anymore''.

With that, I turned around and walked down the stairs.

'' This girl'' my stepmother said and shook her head.

I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge and drank some water. I was about to go back to my room when I saw a familiar person on our neighbor's rooftop. I got some snacks and went there and saw Hyun-jin sitting there

'' hey, what are you doing here?'' I asked him surprised.

'' Aish you startled me!'' he said and held his chest dramatically

'' oh come on drama llama'' I said laughing.

''No, seriously! who does this?'' Hyun-jin said as he did his world-famous disgusted face.

''Alright, I am sorry! ok, see I brought some snacks your favorite'' I said and showed him the bag. Hearing this his face lit up and he became excited

''Ok I forgive you'' he said while grabbing the snacks

Looking at him I suddenly got a sharp pain in my head. I saw a boy laughing ok I forgive you he said I held my head.

''Are you alright?'' Hyun-jin asked me. I nodded

'' Just had a flashback or vision I don't know what exactly that is'' I said and shrugged

''Again? this is the third time in a week!

''I know right?! but every time it's getting clearer and clearer, You didn't answer my question'' I said.

'' Which one?'' he asked trying to remember.

''What are you doing here?''

'' I came for two reasons first I wanted to give the assignment Nath asked me to do and second, I wanted to be alone for some time you know na I Love this place it's peaceful here''. He responded.

''Nath's assignment? which one?'' I asked surprised

''Math'' he said sighing.

''Oh! so you were the victim this time! I had to do English'' I said tiredly.

''Let me guess your stepmother forced you am I right?'' he said.

''Yep,'' I sight.

'' I don't understand why you tolerate this shit if I were you I would have shown her her place'' he said furiously.

''Easy for you to say'' I said.

We both knew it was an impossible task!

At the same time

Loud music and excited screams of the girls could be heard. There was a lot of noise that didn't bother the girls as they had a lot of fun.

Nath's POV

I and my girls were having a sleepover and we wanted to have some fun. I turned the music to max and everyone screamed excitedly

''Are you, guys having fun?'' I asked them in response the screams got louder.

'' I will take that as a yes! let's dance !!''. I said and began to dance we were all enjoying ourselves when suddenly the music stopped. ''Who dares to do this?'' I asked furiously and turned around only to see my mother standing near my music system with crossed arms.

'' Mom!'' I said and pouted ''We were having so much fun why did you turn the music off?''

she came near me and slapped me! I was shocked

''What was that For?'' I asked her.

''I told you not to make a noise didn't I?'' she said furiously.'' you always make so much noise you can't even do your work, do you know how difficult it was to get Lina to do your assignment? But no the lady is playing music which can be heard in the whole house''.

Mom is mad at someone else poor me I have to tolerate her and besides I didn't ask her to go to Lina it was her choice because of her I had to ask Hyun-jin to do my math assignment or else Lina would have suffered more than she already does thought I angrily. ''Mom calm down and take deep breaths''. I tried to calm her but it seems that it was making her even madder. Without any word, she turned around and walked out.

'' If I hear music again make sure to leave the house'' And with that, the door got shut.

As soon as mom left Mina asked me

''What did she mean by this?''

''Nothing to worry about mom just doesn't like loud music'' I explained rolling my eyes

''And what's with the assignment'' Tina asked.

''Mom forced Lina to do my assignment for no reason just to torcher her'' I said sighing.

'' But isn't it good you don't have to do it?'' Mina questioned.

''Good!'' I said sarcastically ''Nothing is good she will use me for other reasons'' i shuddered

''You are just like a toy for her'' Tina said angrily

''I don't understand why are you tolerating this shit if I were you I would've shown her her place'' Mina said furiously
