Meisha's POV

I feel like I can't breathe because my heart is beating so fast. I don't know what to do. I couldn't move from my place as I heard shouting and explosions everywhere.

"Grrr.." my fur rose when I heard a soft roar of something outside our house.

Until I heard heavy footsteps. I swallowed as I forced myself to move.

Shit. Get moving!

"Rarghh!" I was surprised when I heard a loud roar near the house.

Because of that, I immediately moved my body and quickly hid under the window. I also covered my mouth to not hear my breathing.

*There!* *There!*

My heart beat faster when I saw its shadow on the floor in the sunlight. I don't know what kind of monster it is.

"Food.."

I closed my eyes tightly because of fear as I listened to his footsteps passing in front of our window until he disappeared.

Just a few hours ago. The surroundings became quiet, which made me calm down little by little.

What happened? Why didn't anyone save us-the people outside? Also, why didn't anyone warn us about this?

I slowly shifted my gaze to Ate Mika's corpse or to a monster. I don't know what to call him. It's like how fast it happened.

I'd like to think it's just coercion, but it's not. I was injured, so it's true.

I took a deep breath before looking out the window. I don't see any monsters on the road anymore, only dead people. Add more burning cars.

I feel like I'm in hell.

I shook my head vigorously before standing up and going to the bedroom to get a blanket. Next, I went to Ate Mika's corpse in the kitchen and looked at it.

"I don't know what happened to you. I'm also sorry if I killed you.." I couldn't help but cry. "I just don't know what to do!" I screamed.

I cried softly next to Ate Mika and was about to cover her body when I suddenly noticed something on her forehead. Where I stabbed the knife that I used to kill him.

Little by little, his forehead melted until it spread. I took a step back in shock.

In less than an hour, Ate Mika's whole body melted and there was nothing left of her body. Except for its clothes and a glowing stone.

"I guess, you're not really dangerous." I said before picking up the stone.

It just looks like an ordinary stone that lights up. I breathed a sigh of relief because of that and put it in my pocket.

I looked out the window. I can't stay in this place for long. Maybe someone will attack me again while I'm here.

I didn't waste any more time and quietly prepared everything I would need when I left the house. Next, I put a note at Ate Mika's place, where her body disappeared.

"Rest in Peace, Sister Mika." I immediately bit my lip to stop myself from crying, "Please watch over me wherever I end up."

CHAPTER 1.2

Meisha's POV

I took a deep breath when I felt like I was about to cry again. I immediately fixed myself in the mirror and put a face mask on my mouth.

I swallowed my own saliva as I turned the doorknob on the door. As I slowly opened it, my heart beat faster and I felt like I was going to urinate in fear.

But before I could even open the door, I immediately let go of the doorknob and slapped my face hard.

"Get ready! Maybe we haven't gotten far, we're dead!" I said annoyed to myself.

I sighed before grabbing the doorknob and turning it. When the door opened, I slowly looked outside our house.

I made sure there was no monster when I went out before I finally left the house. The smoke that was scattered around appeared to me. It's not too thick so I can still see the surroundings.

But where does this smoke come from?

While walking slowly on the road, I alertly looked around. Once again, I was able to scream because of the corpses scattered around.

I looked at the convenience store I bought a while ago and immediately smiled when an idea came to my mind.

There is nothing wrong if I take the food inside without saying goodbye. I just want to live long.

I stopped walking and looked around to see if there was a monster around. When I was sure there was none, I immediately ran into the convenience store.

The glass that acts as a barrier to the outside is broken. That's why it's easy to get into.

I also noticed that the food at the convenience store is running low. I'm sure there are people who have taken food here before without saying goodbye.

I dropped my bag to the side first and happily started to get food. It would have been funnier if it wasn't like this was happening around.

"I need something to put it in. It definitely won't fit in my bag." I muttered to myself before placing the things I took on a tray.

Next, I looked for things to put food in, until I looked at where the cashier was sitting earlier.

That's right, there's definitely a bag there.

I slowly walked closer to the cashier and looked for a bag. Until I saw a small bag. I smiled because of that and immediately opened it.

"Wow! You are not the only complainer. You also like to paint your face." I still shook my head while removing the make up from her bag.

I even saw his cell phone so I took it and put it in my pocket.

After that, I immediately stood up and took the tray that I put food on. When I finished what I was doing, I immediately took my bag and was about to leave the convenience store suddenly..

I froze when I saw the monster outside. It carries a human head but no body.

I took a deep breath to calm myself down and slowly stepped back. While retreating, I only focused on the monster outside.

I slowly looked at the can I stepped on. It's crazy!

I quickly looked at the monster outside. His red eyes looked at me intently. I saw his long tongue circle around his lips before grinning.

"Man.." he said before starting to scream and attack me.

"Ahhh!" I screamed loudly and immediately ran somewhere to hide.

Next, the things we pass by in the convenience store fall down one after the other due to the collision of the monster just to catch me.

"Why am I so stupid!" I cried while thinking of a way to escape.

Until I saw a moriatic acid cause I picked it up and immediately opened it. I stopped for a moment and faced the monster.

I can see in its eyes the desire to eat me. Just come closer.

"Raarrghhh!" it screamed causing me to panic.

He ran faster and he was about to touch my face when I suddenly poured moriatic acid on his face. I even fell on my hand causing me to scream in pain.

I almost cried in pain while enduring the pain of my wound. Did you spill some moriatic acid on your hand?

But I didn't think about that anymore and started running away from the monster in front of me. I took my bag that I just put aside and ran quickly out of the convenience store.

I even heard it destroying the things that were there one after another. I'm sure he's already looking for me. If I don't get away soon, I might end up like the guy before.

What happened to the man opposite our window came back to my mind. I feel like throwing up when I remember that.

But what if I'm the only survivor here? Then what should I do? Kill me?

I don't want to lose hope right away. I have to fight if I want to live.

I got back to my senses when I felt something on my leg. A tentacle twirled around my leg causing my heart to beat faster.

Even though I wasn't able to move, it suddenly pulled me causing me to fall and be dragged on the road.

"Ugh!" I groaned when I felt the scars on my chest.

I feel like crying in pain. I looked for a way to stop pulling the tentacles on my leg. Until I saw a piece of broken window.

I waited until I fell into that habit and picked it up quickly. Because of what I did, I got a cut on my palm.

But that's not important to me. I need to escape from this thing.

I took a deep breath before facing the tentacle wrapped around my leg. I tried to reach my feet even though it was difficult because I was being dragged.

Where will this take me? My body is so sick!

"Gotcha!" I gasped as I grabbed my foot. I immediately reached for the tentacle that was still wrapped around my leg before preparing the pot I was holding.

I quickly cut the tentacle that was wrapped around my leg causing blood to splatter. I was not satisfied with that and sliced the tentacle one after another.

"ARGHHH!" I gasped when I heard someone's scream. It echoes all around making me even more afraid.

"Slice now!" I said while still continuing to slice this thing. As time went on, I heard the monster's voice more and more.

That's why I need to hurry or else, this is really my last day here.

Even though my palm was very painful, I still forced to cut the tentacle. The monster's blood is mixing with my blood, that's why you can't really know whose blood is constantly flowing.

"Ack!" I moaned softly when my shoulder suddenly hit the side of the car.

I quickly grabbed its wheel with all my strength so that the tentacle would not immediately sweep me away. Somehow, its pulling slowed down causing me to cut the tentacle even faster.

"Just a little!" there is something in the voice I say. I will only cut a little skin.

It was as if I heard some sound before the tentacle snapped. I could hear the roar of the monster.

That means, he was really hurt.

I took a deep breath before lying down on the road. Even for a few seconds. I want to rest.

My body is very sore and my hand feels numb. I can't last this long if I don't rest for a few seconds.

I looked at the bag I was carrying. This hole is hollow and almost empty. I just closed my eyes tightly because of annoyance.

I felt my facemask and noticed that there was a hole in it which made me alert. I might inhale chemical gas!

I immediately took another extra facemask out of my pocket but was stunned when I hit something hard. I took it and looked at it carefully.

"This is the strangest stone in the house." I said while watching it.

This is also the only memory I have of Ate Mika- but in a terrible way.

I laughed softly. I can also feel my tears flowing down my cheeks.

I would like to think that this is not true. It's just a dream. But no matter which angle I look at it. I still see it as true.

My tears just kept flowing, causing my eyes to feel tired. Until I didn't realize that I fell asleep.

CHAPTER 3.1

Meisha's POV

What's that noise?

"Meisha..." I immediately turned around at the behavior of the person who called me.

Ate Mika gave me a scary grin before raising her hand holding a knife, "Die!" it shouted before running to me quickly.

My heart beat faster as I watched it approach me.

I quickly opened my eyes and accompanied it with heavy breathing. I immediately looked around before looking at the sky.

It's night.

I took a deep breath and was about to get up when I felt a pain in my leg. I wondered if I had been bitten on the foot but it didn't seem to be.

That's why I immediately reached into my pocket and took out my cellphone. Fortunately, before I left the convenience store earlier, I picked it up.

As soon as I opened my cellphone, I immediately breathed a sigh of relief. No password.

I immediately went to the settings and turned on the flashlight. When I was about to focus the flashlight on my foot, I was terrified.

"W-what the hell?" It was like all my hair stood up when I saw the situation of my feet.

Meisha's POV

When I made sure I was away from that place, I immediately rested in a corner where there was a light. Somehow I'm safe in this light.

Even though I know there are still monsters around.

"Ugh!" I moaned weakly as my leg started to hurt. It seems like every hour I'm running out of energy.

I don't know how long I'll last if it happens again.

I sat in a corner where I couldn't be seen before putting down my other things. I also held my breath to replace my face mask with a hole.

After that, I chewed the food that was left for me. 2 biscuits and a mineral water. wow I am very lucky indeed.

I just shook my head before opening a biscuit and taking a piece from it. It has three fillings so if I eat one piece of biscuit filling a day, it might last me a week.

But the water... I held my breath. It was less than half full. Will it take up to three days?

I just didn't think about it and just ate. I am very hungry. I haven't had anything to eat since noon, so this one piece isn't really enough for me.

When I finished that one piece, I immediately chineck my wounds. I only got a minor injury to my leg, but my hand. I don't know, it's a second burn degree.

Kloe is my only family left after what happened in this place. He is my twin that I cherish the most.

"Kael, what are we looking for here?" Cindy asked me while looking at the road.

I kicked a tire that was blocking our path before looking at him, "I want to find another weapon that we can use in case we see a monster."

"And when we don't see anything?"

I raised one eyebrow and laughed softly at him, "What kind of question is that? Of course, we'll be right back in the car." I said.

I heard him sigh and mumble something but I didn't pay any attention to that and looked around for a weapon. But I was stunned when I saw a human reflection.

"Cindy, get your gun ready." I said seriously while slowly walking closer to that person.

That's the gemstone we found among the monsters we killed. We call that thing Gemstone because it's similar to the online games we play.

"We should kill her now. Maybe what else he can do to us!" Cindy whispered to me.

"No. Let's wait." I said while watching what the person or whatever he was going to do next.

I thought it was just a bait for the monster to catch us, so I immediately told Cindy that we were leaving, when suddenly...

There I felt the warmth of his body. Really hot. I looked at his face, the tiredness was obvious on his face.

"What happened to you?" I just said in vain while staring at his face that was struggling.

Chloe's POV

"Seia, we have to leave and go back to our house." Cindy said immediately when she got close to us.

"Wait, who is with Kael?" Seia wondered.

"Ah, we saw him on the road passed out. He didn't seem to be infected so we just took him." Cindy said before getting into the car.

My gaze turned to Kuya Kael and the woman he was carrying. I approached him to ask him.

"Brother, is she badly injured?" I asked when I saw that it was full of wounds somewhere.

"Yes. So we have to hurry." He said before passing me and getting into the car.

What a pity.

When we arrived at the house where we were staying, we immediately took the girl to an empty room just next to Cindy's.

Seia approached Cindy and Kuya Kael and gave the medicine kit. If I look at the woman's face, it looks like she has been suffering from her illness for several days.

I just sighed before approaching that girl and touching her forehead. But I was surprised when I felt the heat there.

Cindy's POV

I was surprised when Kloe dropped the clothes she was folding, "I'm too lazy to fold. I'll just take a breather." It left with a bang.

"H-wait, hey Kloe!" I called her but she didn't look at me.

I just held my breath and shook my head. Even though that girl is really stubborn. Different from his older brother.

"I really need to teach Kloe good manners. He no longer respects us." Seia said before folding again.

"Nevermind. Maybe it's because he's just worried." I tried to smile at Seia.

It just flashed before folding again. I was thinking about what Kloe told us. What if he's right? Does that mean we have to send the girl away?

But I know that Kael will not immediately agree to that.

"If you think Kloe is right, well, stop it." I turned to Seia when he said that without looking back, "You know Kloe, everything she sees is bad for her."

I frowned at what Seia said, "I'm not saying anything-"

He turned to me seriously, "I know. But I know you too. You want something from Kael and whatever Kael wants you will insist on wanting too." My eyes widened at Seia's words and quickly looked around.

Maybe someone will hear. Me and Seia are the only ones who know that I like Kael, so it's a big shame if someone hears what Seia said.

"Hey!" I whispered to him. He just shrugged his shoulders, "What you're saying about Kloe has no connection!"

"Hmm maybe?" He just said, "But for me, it has a connection. You know Kael cares about Kloe the most, so whatever Kloe wants, he follows immediately. You too, as long as whatever Kloe says, you'll just believe it and be blind."

I was silent at what he said and clenched my fist. Is he insulting me?

"But-" I didn't finish what I was going to say when I saw that he had finished folding the clothes.

He immediately stood up and looked me in the eyes, "If you don't believe what I'm saying. Just remember what you did to our old friend that Kloe also defamed." He said before walking away.

I was just dumbfounded by what he said. It's like a flashback of everything that happened to us before.

I-I didn't mean for that to happen to him. I just want them to see that what Kloe is saying is right.

I don't know but there seems to be something wrong with where I lay. As I remember, I passed out on the road so it must be hard and very rough.

But why is my bed so soft?! H-can't I be in heaven? Immediately?

I want to confirm to myself whether I am alive or dead. But I'm afraid that when I open my eyes, I'm really in heaven!

"San Pedro, I know you know that I am suffering too much on earth, but I hope you don't take me!" I whispered loudly.

I could hear my heart beating... just wait! Do the ghosts in the sky still have a heart? Why do I hear mine?

"Pfft!" I stopped in my thoughts when I suddenly heard a soft laugh. What's that? Is that San Pedro?

"It seems like you are already awake." wait? Female voice? Is Saint Peter a woman?

I stopped thinking when that female voice spoke again. I swallowed my own saliva and hesitated whether to open my eyes.

"Finally." He said this before the woman laughed softly.

My eyes gradually brightened until I could see his whole face. It is true. I'm not really in heaven, I'm still alive!

I took a deep breath before clutching my chest. I looked back at the woman smiling at me and looked around.

"Where am I? Who are you?" I immediately asked him.

"I am Seia Merdival and you are here at my friend's house." He answered me immediately.

Seia Merdival. The name sounds like a foreigner.

"How 'bout you? What's your name?" he asked back.

"I am Meisha Estralia." I said before looking at my clothes.

I'm still wearing this, except for my wounds which are covered with cloth. He seems to have treated it.

"I'm glad you're awake. My friends and I are all worried that you might not wake up again." He said before standing up and opening a cabinet. It contains clothes.

"What do you mean by not waking up again? Don't tell me... how many days have I slept?"

He faced me before coming and placing the clothes next to me, "Absolutely, right. You slept for 5 days."

I was almost speechless because of what he said. If so, I've been asleep for five days. So it seems like something has changed in my body?

I was about to speak again when a sudden pain in my side caused me to moan softly.

"Are you okay?" Seia immediately asked when he saw my face was struggling.

I hadn't even answered when someone knocked on the door, "Ah, just a moment. I'll just open the door." He said before starting to walk towards the door.

The worry on his face was obvious while I was still trying to endure the pain in my side. I don't have to worry about injuring my side.

Meisha's POV

"Meisha.." I turned to Seia's behavior again. "Meet my friend, Finn."

I looked at his hand pointing to the man next to him. A tall man with navy blue hair stood in front of me.

So handsome...

"Hello." He said before smiling.

I also want to smile at him, but I can't help but ignore my side. It hurts more and more.

"Ugh!" I couldn't stop moaning in pain. Very painful. It felt like someone was poking and crawling on my side.

My breathing is also heavy...

"M-Meisha? What hurts you??" Seia asked worriedly before grabbing my shoulder.

I automatically felt a sense of danger, which made me look at it badly. It was surprised by my reaction, which is why it immediately moved away from me.

"I-I'm fine.. maybe I'm just hungry. You can leave me now." I said trembling.

"O-okay. If you want to take a shower, your clothes are right next to you. Just tell me if you need something." He said before they finally left.

"Ugh! It hurts!" I feel like crying because of the pain. It also seems to pinch my side.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before exhaling. I just do it again and again until I feel calmer little by little.

"Maybe I need to check my body." I whispered before taking the clothes that Seia had left for me.

Before I could even stand up, I suddenly felt my knee go weak causing me to fall to the floor. Shit. I was right in my suspicions.

It is obvious that my body will be weak because I have slept for five days and have not eaten.

"Tsk. Come what may." I just said before slowly standing up.

Somehow, I managed to get out of the room. It seemed like a few minutes before I got here. Too bad, I don't know where CR is going.

I held my breath again. I have no choice. I need someone to clean my body even if I look like a turtle.
