PROLOGUE

I'm not just an ordinary being, I'm different from humans. I never get tired easily, furthermore, I am super strong, I run faster, heal quicker and can conjure lightning, fire and more which you will get to know when as time goes on.

My name is Eddie Brown Carter and I am 20 years old. My father was a werewolf before he died while my mum was a hybrid and still living but I am different from my parents. I have various powers and all of them have not even been discovered. My mum told me I was given my various powers for a reason. She even called me a demigod.

A long time ago, far from the world of humanity, there lived a world that was divided into four domains, held by four gods siblings. Two male and two females. Each with different powers.

Zeus who was the first brother ruling the East side of the kingdom was very kind and generous which made his domain prosperous. He has the power of lightning and some other powers

Athena, who has the power of fire, was the youngest of them. She was ruling the Northside of the kingdom.

Artemis was the second of them ruling the west domain. She has the power of life and death. She was a very vicious goddess which made her worshippers always frightened of her. She has no mercy on her people. Any slight mistake from you, the penalty is instant death.

And Hades who was the third is just like his second sister. The only difference was his powers. He has the power to control the wind.

The whole kingdom lived in peace and harmony for a thousand years, soon everything started changing when Athena and Hades collided with each other to fight against Zeus and Artemis. They wanted the kingdom for themselves.

They started plotting on how to kill Zeus and Artemis but that seems because gods can't be killed with a mare weapon, they can only be killed by a sword called "Ancient Gladius"

Ancient Gladius is not just an ordinary weapon, It's a sword forge from the past souls of the dead gods. The sword was created by a sorcerer called " Adwen". Adwen created the Ancient Gladius during the first battle in the kingdom. The sword was used by the four gods' father to stop their enemies which was successful and after the battle, their father cast a spell on the sword and it vanished to where no one could find it.

Hades and Athena went on a mission to find the sword through the map their father left behind. Things got confused, the kingdom crumbled, blood was shed and no one knew what happened to the four gods till the present day, even their worshippers knew nothing about them. The only history left behind about them was the creation of supernatural beings like werewolves, vampires, Lycans and many more.

These creatures were powerful creatures but things became worse again when they all had some misunderstanding because of power.

This story revolves around gods, vampires, Lycans, werewolves and some other mythological creatures, then a demigod who was born to make things right.

With great powers, comes great responsibilities

Will he fulfil his destiny?

CHAPTER-1 { The Prophesy Begins }

The Voice of people running helter-skelter for safety could be heard as the storm of fire known as an asteroid kept falling from above on different houses. People ran for their safety.

Mr Gabriel and his pregnant wife Patricia, one could tell she's going to give birth anytime soon with the way she walks as they both looked for a safe place to hide.

Soon Mr Gabriel, due to the ability of the wolf he has, was able to hear things from a far distance.

"Oh no, they are here". He said, facing his pregnant wife with a frightened countenance who had already understood what he meant by what he said.

"Gabriel, please don't go, I need you by my side now more than ever, I am going to give birth any minute from now, and you need to be by my side,". Patricia said with tears flowing down from her eyes.

"I can't just leave those innocent humans alone to be killed by Lycans, I need to help them. We both knew that I am one of the reasons they came here". Mr Gabriel said, showing some courage. He kissed his pregnant wife and left the cave where they hid and that was the last time she saw her husband.

THREE DAYS LATER

Thunderstruck everywhere, and the four stars representing the four domains of the kingdom came together, they became so bright that no one could dared to look at it without getting blind. The light came directly to the cave where Patricia hid since her husband never came back. She groans in pains, one could tell that it is time for her to deliver. She struggled to give birth by herself since no one was there to help her.

After groaning and struggling, the sound of a crying baby could be heard. She smiled and carried the baby and the light came directly to her, she was scared at first but calmed herself when she saw her child floating from her hand and hung in the air. The light went to where the child was, though he was crying and suddenly kept mute as soon as the light touched his forehead and made a sign of the letter "S" on it.

DEEP INSIDE THE FOREST

Deep in the forest outside the kingdom. The ground was shaking as if there was going to be an earthquake, truly it was an earthquake, the ground began to separate and a big chateau building erupted from it.

Inside the building, some group of people could be seen sitting, surrounding a table, but their faces were covered and their identity were unknown. They were 20 in numbers, all females.

"After all these years, we are finally free,". One of them who should be their leader said.

"The prophecy has begun to come to pass," another said.

"He has come to life, we must act fast if we don't want our fate to be like the previous years". Another also said, while their leader laughed which made the rest confused.

"Don't you worry my brethren, it is our time, no stupid prophecy can stop us after all we have been through. We just need to act fast, we need to find him, as soon as he discovers his powers." Their leader said.

"What about the other creatures." One of them also said with a tone that dissipated fear in her.

"Don't worry about them, they shall all join us or we will slay them?" their leader said and they all burst into laughter but no one knew who they were.

It's a bright beautiful day, Patricia came out of the cave with her baby on her back. She had to find something to eat, being a hybrid has made her survive for some days without eating. Though she didn't know where she was going but keep the faith that something positive would come out of it.

She increased her pace as she walked alone on the tiny rough road with no intention of returning to the kingdom, hence looking for another kingdom.

She stood still as she heard the wind blowing around her. She knew immediately that someone was around her. The wind went down and standing before her was a Lycan. Lycans are just like wolves but they are different creatures.

Lycans are Less hairy than a werewolf. Slimmer but longer ears. Shorter tail. Overall larger build. They have the Physical Strength, Agility, Capable of learning Covenant Powers (Holy/Unholy), natural-born elemental abilities (Wind, Earth)

Lycans are the first form of a werewolf, who came from descendants of an original bloodline. The natural origination behind a werewolf. A local and a werewolf are folkloric or mythological characters. Though a Lycan and a werewolf relate to the transformation of humans into a wolf, they are different in many respects. In a werewolf, the transformation to wolf takes place on a full moon day, and they cannot restrict the transformation. In a Lycan, the transformation to wolf can take place at any time, as they are natural creatures and able to control their metamorphosis. Humans (Only Humans) are transformed into werewolves and Lycans when another werewolf or Lycan bites them.

The Lycan dashed at her, she, still carrying a baby at her back does not stop her from defending herself. She's a hybrid, half vampire, half-wolf.

She was a vampire, before meeting her husband. So after mating, she became a hybrid which was still a surprise to her.

She caught the Lycan with her bare hand, her claws came out, she threw the Lycan to a nearby tree. The Lycan stood up again and dashed at her. This time, Patricia carried her baby down and changed into an Omega wolf. She also dashed at the coming Lycan. They collided with each other with a loud thud. Patricia caught the Lycan at his back, inserted her claws into the Lycan's back and removed his bone. The Lycan died instantly.

She changed back to human, went to carry her baby, turned back and was surprised at what she saw.

"This is just the beginning" she read, as the Lycan's blood vanished.

CHAPTER-2 { Birthday fight }

"you're getting it, focus all your energy on it son, that's who you are, the power lies in you," Patricia said to her son.

Today is his 20th birthday, she has been trying to teach him how to use some of his powers which he has not discovered, unfortunately, he was not catching up.

"Mum, I told you I can't do it, can't you see how hard I am putting my efforts, it is not working," Eddie said to his mum with a devastating countenance.

"Eddie I told you, within you are powers which you can never imagine. You're a demigod, you just have to let go of your worries and feel the powers inside of you" Patricia said, moving close to her son.

"mum, I'm tired, I am seriously famished. Moreover, I am contented with the powers I have discovered, today is my birthday, I am supposed to be having fun with my friends." He said to his mum and she sighed.

If only he knew he has a great destiny to fulfil and a great battle to fight, he wouldn't think about playing for a minute.

"Okay let us go find something to eat," his mum said and a smile came across his face.

"but not until you fight me," his mum said and changed to a white Omega wolf.

"what the fuck mum! how do you expect me to fight..."

Before he could complete his statement, his mum dashed at him and caught him by his neck, threw him some miles away and he landed with a loud thud. He stood up immediately.

"Fine, if that's what you want, I'll give it to you," He said, smirked and flew up and landed at his mum back in a dark black wolf form with red eyes. He is an Alpha, the only alpha still in existence as his mum told him. Werewolves are creatures with the abilities of superhuman, senses, strength, speed, reflexes, agility, regenerating healing factor and so many more. They are more powerful under the full moon, and they are into three species. The alpha is always one and has red eyes. The beta has blue eyes and the omega are with yellow eyes, just like his mum.

"You can only become an alpha if you were bitten by one or you killed one." His mum once told him

His wolf is so huge, he ran towards his mum, then threw his right hand which has sharp claws, but his mum was fast enough to see it coming, thus, she blocked him with her left hand then use her right hand to hit him and waved him off.

He ran towards his mum again, this time faster, before his mum could blink her eyes, Eddie caught her at her neck, lift her, with his right hand, but his mum was so stronger, so she used her legs to pull down his hands and use her right hand smashed Eddie's head on the nearby tree.

Eddie groaned in pains and lost consciousness as a result of the fall. His mum turned back to human and quickly find a cloth to cover her nakedness. A few minutes later, he regained consciousness and ran inside the building with the speed of lightning in his werewolf form and ran back in human form, fully dressed in white top and blue trousers.

"going to Mr Richard's home," he said and speed out.

Tony who was the leader of the Lycans could be seen resting his body inside a swimming pool. A glass of wine was in his right hand and was surrounded by ladies of different age, Caressing their boobs with his left hand. Your first contact with him would tell you he loves ladies.

"Tony, he is 20yrs old. Today is his birthday, we need to act if you wish to be an immortal." Lawrence who had been the second in command of the Lycans said as he came to meet Tony who had already reached climax by the way the ladies were massaging his body

"Shhhhh... calm down bro, this is just the beginning of this game, it is gonna be fun" Tony retorted to Lawrence with a funny expression.

"Yeah, but you should remember we're not the only ones who need him, other creatures must have known about his existence," Lawrence said and Tony laughed.

He came out of the swimming pool stark naked but was covered immediately. He stepped towards his well-built throne and sat on it.

"No one can stop us this time bro, no one can! Neither the vampires nor the wolves, he just clocked 20, as a demigod which he is, he has to clock 20 before he can have access to his real powers, he might possess the ability to transform into an alpha wolf as he was still below 20 but his real supernatural abilities will start to manifest when he clocks 20 and above, and it is until this abilities manifest, we can get him. I have been watching him keenly." Tony said and laughed sarcastically.

"l want to and go test his ability and see how far he has discovered his power," Lawrence said and moved out.

I ran out of the building with much speed to meet my friends, although I kept my powers from them. My mum told me on no condition should I reveal my identity and I have been trying my best not to let anyone know who I am.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you" was the next thing I heard as I step into Carson's sitting room.

I and Carson had been friends since we were little. He has been my close and tight friend. I sense he's also a supernatural being but doesn't know who he is, maybe a wolf like his dad I presumed.

"Wow...thanks guys," I said as I moved in.

"what made you came late," Ella said, laughing at me.

"I was busy at home, that's why I came late" I lied to them.

Ella and Carson are monozygous twin, their dad, Mr Richard is a werewolf while their mother is a vampire.

"Hey kids we are going out to have fun after eating the cake," Mr Richard said and we all shouted.

Soon we finished eating the cake and we all went out in their dad's car.

"You gonna get up...you gonna get up and make a move, cause nobody will see you until you do..." was the music Ella's dad was playing in his old Chevrolet car.

"Who sang this music?" Ella asked his dad but he didn't reply her.

"I guess it Tatiana Manaois," I said and they were all amazed.

"How did you know it's her?" Carson's mum asked me.

"I just guessed it" I replied.

"It's her," their mum said and the car stopped immediately she finished her statement.

"What's wrong with this car, this time around," Ella's dad said grudgingly and came out of the vehicle.

I begin to hear some strange voices from a far distance, which sounds like a Lycan's voice but it seems it not only one.

"What are they doing here" I muttered beneath.

Carson's mum alighted from the car." you kids should stay inside and don't come out" she said, moving close to her husband.

"They're here," Carson's dad said and their mum told us to lock up the windows.

"what's going on mum," the twins asked their parents at the same time.

"No time to explain, make sure none of you come out of that car," she said and we calmed ourselves.

Their dad changed to a white werewolf like my mum's own but his eyes were blue. He's a beta wolf, the next sound we heard was the voice of the Lycans. They ran out of the bush and dashed towards Carson's parent.

Mare looking at the fight, I need no one to tell me if nothing is done, those Lycans will kill my friend's parent because they are outnumbered.

Their parents tried. They fought more than I expected but they are already getting weak. Two lycans ran towards their mum at the same time, before she could prepare herself, they've already got her off guard, the two Lycans bit her and she screamed.

"Mum!!!" Ella and Carson shouted at the same time, they broke the glass and Carson turned into an omega wolf while Ella removed her claws. It was then I knew Carson was a werewolf while Ella was a vampire.

"No...who told you to come out" their mum shouted at them as the Lycans threw her to a nearby tree. She was already weak, Ella ran to meet her mum while Carson ran to meet his dad who had already been caught by the Lycans. The two kids were kicked off their feet before they could get to their parents.

"It's him we need," a man who I presumed to be the Lycans leader said as he came out of their midst and pointed his left hand towards me, and the Lycan ran to the car where I was.

"why me?" I said and ran out of the car, but they ran after me.
