The reward you get

Golden high school is everyone's dream school in country X, lots and lots of students wish to

go there but too bad its just for the poor but intelligent students.

Its a new term again and all students had resumed including teacher and students but the girls hostel has no mistress cause the school is short of a teacher,Kathy is to make a resume to the school but due to a reason or the other she could not resume during the first week.

Kathy is a sweet but hot headed teacher with slender and alluring figure,so she is to resume in the second week of unaware to the students.

After the evening activities of the students, the girls student got to the hostel only to find the mistress room occupied,since nobody know who it was everybody is curious to know who the teacher was,a junior student showed enough courage and went in to the mistress room only to come out beaten and be seen by Miley a senior year student, hot tempered but kind,seeing a student like that arose her temper and make her shout to the whole hostel to avoid going to the teacher room to avoid been beaten like the junior student intentionally raising her voice since her hostel was the closest to the mistress room.

Kathy who was in her room was so angry hearing the accusation from Miley,she came out and went straight to Miley hostel with the aim of beating her unknowingly to her that Miley is a bad girl.

Getting there the look she meet on Miley face said it all cause the glare she gave to Kathy can make her go deep down the ground twenty feets.

Seeing the look on Miley face, Kathy swallowed twice and decided to just warn,but miley was not ready to stop,she continue to give Kathy a provoking smile. with that Miley became the fist person to fight the new house mistress.

IN THE SCHOOL CAFETERIA

Getting to the cafeteria for dinner,Miley was in a pure bad mood,she refused to eat nor talk to anyone,her best friends Rachael and sholly noticed her foul mood and give a glance to each other;

"What happened to Miley"? Sholly asked Rachael

"Who knows"? Rachael replied Sholly with a question

Sholly shrugged his shoulder and continued with his food.

"What happened to you Miley"? Recheal moved closer to Miley and asked.

"Is that new mistress,she got on my nerve,I don't kinda like it".Miley replied Racheal

" Babe eat".Reacheal said

"Am not eating". Miley replied

" Hey will you eat or I feed you"? Sholly interfered

Reluctantly, Miley picked her cutleries and eat.

AFTER DINNER

"Miley babe is it true that you fought that mistress already?" A senior year student questioned Miley

"She is kinda bad,I fought her already,"Miley replied.

The discussion continued until a bang was heard in the hall where the students were studying, everybody flinched.

" You guys have started again? You started with your noise,instead of you to read and study for your future you are here chatting, I will report you to your masters,if I couldn't control you then I will report you," Kathy who barge in shouted

"She can't even introduce herself"

"She can't even greet"

"She can't even..."

"She can't even..."

"The new teacher is here.."

The students began chanting different words at Kathy

"Aunty please introduce yourself " a student shouted from behind

"Oh am sorry,my name is Kathy and am your new house mistress'" Kathy replied with a small smile that disappear after the introduction

Miley just pretend not to see anything and focus on her book

"Aunty Kathy.."

"Aunty Kathy.."

"You are welcome"

"Welcome here ma..'

The students say different warm welcome words to her

"Okay thanks am very grateful"Kathy say with a smile

"If you guys read you will pass,so you guys should read and not just make noise,you should be good boys and girls,your parents should be proud of you when you got home,so you hear me?"Kathy asked the students

"Yes maaaa,"the students replied and stop every noise

Walking around the the hall ,Kathy stopped in front of Miley desk,"what are you reading"? She asked?

"Chemistry",Miley replied absentmindedly

"Okay continue."

"Senior prefect I want to see the names of the noise maker," Kathy give instruction before leaving the hall

"See this aunty asking the senior prefect to write noise maker list,when he will not write his classmates names"the students Murmurer

" hey Miley will you just smile?You look like an old woman"sholly disturbed Miley

"Sholly you better face your book"Miley replied him with a wide smile

"Hmmmnhmmmn,we are her"Racheal said to get included

"Okay guys no problem I will cheer up"miley said to her other friends

AFTER THE PREPARATORY CLASS

" Good night"miley said to sholly who was going to the boys hostel

"Let's go Miley"Rachael called Miley

"You see that aunty she is too much"Miley said to Racheal

"Abeg that's her prob".Reachel said

They got to the hostel building and left for their different hostels

Minutes later,Kathy walked to Miley hostel and address them all,"you see you guys are suppose to be resting your brain and not disturbing yourself and others with your noise,if I come back her I will pack you all out and make you sleep outside."

Miley scoffed and pretend to be sleeping

After she left, the girls continued with their noises till late at night before going to bed.

Kathy was in a deep thought in her room on how she was going to deal with the students,she is finding the work too difficult already but since she is not the type that gave up easily,she remained focus to push through till the end.

With that the girls hostel remained dead silent till morning when the activities began again.

Early the next morning,Kathy woke early to wake the girls up,after their morning duties and other daily routine,the students dress for school,during the morning devotion Kathy went there and perform some dramas,she started making some supervision on the students,with her bossy attitude, everybody hates her already but still pretend to be good with her.

After her supervision, Kathy moved to the front to address the students.

"Good morning to you all.."

"Good morning ma,"the students involuntary replied her.

"Why are you guys so dirty"?Kathy asked the students

"Ahh!! Aunty we are not dirty" the students murmured.

"Now everybody should listen am not going to let it pass if should happens again" Katy said before going out of the assembly hall

"Thank you ma.."

The girls should wait after the devotion

After the devotion, the girls wait for Kathy to address them

"Hey girls how was your night"? Kathy asked

"Fine ma,"the girls replied

" You know if we work together good things will happen,let's corporate so as to bring good things here,the founder of this school is really trying so please let's be a good student"Kathy addressed the girls

After some minutes Kathy finished addressing them and allowed them to go to their different classes

IN THE CLASSROOM

Miley was in the class with her other mates,studying for their next lesson while in the junior classes,different sounds could be heard,Kathy coming from the junior student block heard the sounds and got aggrieved, make her way to the senior class

Kathy went to the senior class and started with a drama

"You guys are useless, you can't even control your Juniors, you can't do anything..." Kathy continued with her drama

"This aunty sef, she can kill someone,are we to sit in their classroom just to stop noise"? Someone wondered rhetorically

"Jeeze she is too much.."

They keep on saying different things at her

AFTER THE SCHOOL HOURS, in the school compound

"Hey boy, do your clothe very well" Kathy instructed a student.

"What! is this real?"

"Is she actually being nice?.."

The students gossiped among themselves

IN THE HOSTEL(GIRLS)

"I can't believe it.."Miley said amidst laughter

"Either you believe it or not, sholly will believe it.."Racheal said to her

They were having fun in the hostel garden

"So that's where you guys do gossip?".Kathy interrupted their peace

"Mistress what did you mean?"

"We were only chatting here.."

Racheal replied

"Miley when did you join the gossip mongers?

I thought you were different, you are such a useless child..."Kathy said to Miley making her face became cold and the temperature in the garden dropped

"Mistress,we were just catching cruise here and you came to disturb my peace,not only that you still call me a useless child,what a same when you never gave birth to one you don't know what it means to be useful.".Miley said with sarcasm boldly in her voice

Kathy feeling offended left the place with the mindset of reporting Miley to the school authority but later realized she said too much to Miley,because of the domineering attitude she has,she still felt she was right.

"Miley,is that how you will let that mistress continue to pick on you?.."Racheal asked

"No,I just don't want problem for her yet,let her enjoy it while it last.."Miley replied

"Even when she called you a useless child?.". Racheal asked

"Hey c'mon,its not like am useless,but i will let her have the taste of her medicine.."Miley said to Racheal

She made her way to the house master office to file a complaint against Kathy.

At The House master's office

"Good day master.." Miley greeted her master who was busy typing on his laptop

"Miley how were you"?He replied

"Am fine master,I came to file a complaint against the new Mistress,Kathy"Miley said

"And what about her"? The master asked raising his head up to look at her.

"I did nothing for her today when she came to meet I and Racheal in the school garden accusing us of being a gossip mongers,we were trying to explain what we were talking about when she called me a useless child, though I told her I am not useless.."miley explained to her master

"Hmmmn...." the master sign frustratedly

"Miley sorry about that,you are not useless, I will talk to her about the language she should use with you guys,don't be annoyed" the master pleaded with Miley

"Master am not angry just to let you know before it will be too late,and she will spill such to the Juniors which will spoil the school reputation"miley explains to her master

"Thanks, I understand your concern"the master replied

"When you get back to the hostel ask Kathy to see me" the master instructed

"Yes master!"Miley said

Leaving the master's office,Miley went straight t Sholly hostel

"Hey Sholly"Miley greeted her friend

"Whatsup girlfriend?" Sholly replied with a mouthful of chips

"So this is where you do enjoy your day?"Miley asked pretending not to know that was his favorite spot

"Unnmhmm,yes, at least I will be good here

What are you doing here?". Sholly asked Miley

"Just need to cool my head off, gat Mistress is in for trouble"Miley replied

"Why is it always you and that aunty?, well I always enjoy to watch you guys drama" sholly said to Miley

"So you will just make fun out of misfortune?"Miley said with a pout

"Oh! Sorry,"sholly said patting her hair;"what did she do again?" He asked

"She called me a useless child..".miley said to sholly

Immediately, sholly furrowed his brow

"She said that to you?"

"Did she have a death wish?"

"Did she wanna die?"

Sholly rushed his questions

"Hey calm down nah, I did not tell you to go and fight" Miley said to sholly

"I will treat her f**k up",he said

"I already explained to the house master"miley said

"That should be better" sholly said with a little concern in his word

"Okay now,make me feel better"miley said to sholly,taking a sip from his drink

"Good thing you don't loose your temper,else the school would have been on fire" sholly said

"Nah nah,she didn't worth it"she replied

After some minutes,she left for the hostel to deliver her master's message

"Miss Kathy, master sent for you" she told her and turn to leave

"Why is he calling me?" Kathy asked Miley

Miley could have roll her eyes if not for Sholly words to always keep her calm

"How am I suppose to know??" Miley said like she had no idea what her master will talk about.

Kathy walk to her room and came out some minutes later to go to the master's office.

Kathy got to the master's office and greeted with a smile

"Good day master"she greeted

"Kathy how are you doing?" the master asked

"Am fine master" she replied

"There is something I want to say to you have your sit"the master said

Feeling nervous, Kathy sat down

"Hmmmn, Kathy I noticed something about you which I don't think will be good to the school reputation.."the master began

"You know we have different language and tongue we use in speaking with the students,If a bad language is used it will bring bad ideals to their minds,you know teaching a child is like writing on the rock, when they grow up it will be part of them, and it will be the result of what you have written on the rock, which would have dried...."the master explained to Kathy not speaking directly to her base in what miley has reported to him but generally .

Being a smart girl,Kathy got the message and said to him

"Master,I understand, I will change"

"So what happens between you and miley today"?the master asked

"Eehem,she and her friend Racheal were gossiping, so I warned her,"Kathy explained to the master

"If I may asked,what were they gossiping about?" the master asked

"They were gossiping, I ....did....not....listen"Kathy said brokenly

"So you don't even know what they were saying?"

"Kathy i thought you were better than this,but It seems i was wrong"the master said disappointedly

"Master am sorry,I will change,"Kathy said with her head bowed.

"If you change,good for you,if you don't am afraid I can't say what will happen"

"Alright master" she said

Leaving the master's office,Kathy was in a deep thought on how she would sort herself with the students, she was on her way to her room when some students came rushing to her

"Mistress,please someone is not feeling fine" a student said

"Who is not feeling fine"Kathy asked

"Its Mirabelle" the student replied

"Take her to the infirmary, I will join you shortly" she said walking to her room

After a while Kathy went to the infirmary to check the sick student

"Mira what happened to you?"she asked rhetorically

She went to the matron office to ask about her condition

"Matron please what happened to Mira?"she asked

"She has gotten infected by an insect maybe when the went for an excursion, she will need to go to the city hospital, I will assign those that will get her there"the matron said

"May I follow them?"she asked

"Yes you may if you wish"the matron said

Miley asked and went out to change her dress

In the city hospital

"Who is the house mistress of the student taken to the ward some minutes ago?'a bold voice asked

Kathy look up only to see a pair of beautiful eyes looking curious

"Oh! Doctor, its me"she answered

"See me in my office" the doctor said walking away.

"Oh!she is beautiful, I think I loved her already at the first sight" the doctor said in his head while moving toward his office

(Knock knock knock)

Three knocks sounded on the doctor's door

"Come in"he replied

Kathy entered the office and closed the door behind her

"You may sit down"the doctor said

"That girl had been infected by a vector

Its a mosquito that infected her with river blindness, she is still undergoing some test for us to know what was really wrong and to see other things that has been caused to her" the doctor explained with his eyes searching through Kathy body

"Thanks doc.am very grateful" Kathy said

"I need to get her contact, I can't let such a beauty go" the doctor said in his head

"How about you give me your contact so I can contact you to know how her health goes?"the doctor asked cleverly

"No problem with that"she replied and collected his phone to type her digits

"This is it, am Katherine, you can save my contact with Kathy"

"Alright take care" the doctor said

Kathy walked out of the office and shut the door

"I haven't see such an angel"Kathy said to herself

"Yes I got it!"the doctor said to himself happily

Back to the school

Kathy had concluded to make Miley bow for her,she has think of a possible solution and now she is going to make an announcement to the girls

"Hey girls, I want all your full attention," she said to the girls who are busy arranging their bags as it was sunday, the were preparing for school

"I want to tell you something" Kathy continued

"Miley come here",she said

Miley walk out looking confused.

"This is miley,and she is my school daughter from today's onward"Kathy dropped the bomb

"What the heck"?Miley said and look at Kathy with disgust

"Congratulation miley.."

"Am happy for you senior miley"

"You did well miley..'

Such and other remarks was said

Rachael just give a questioning gaze at Miley and she return a shrug

"You can all go"Kathy said to other student

"Miley see me in my room"Kathy said

After Kathy left,miley walked to Racheal and asked what to do?

"You just have to play along"said Rachel to miley

After a while,miley went to Kathy's room

"How are you doing miley?" Kathy asked

Fine Miley replied shortly

"Have you eaten?"she asked again

"yes" miley replied again

" good,help me get this in the school mall" Kathy stretched a list to Miley

"Okay ma,' miley collected the paper and left

"Miley it's your time to shine,you finally win that aunty heart Veronica",miley roommate said to her

"Vero Stop the trash,did she think she can get my favour with that?"

'What a mess', miley said

What's with the list with you"? Veronica asked

"Miss Kathy ask me to get them in the mall"Miley replied

"Jeeze,enjoy"vero said and left

"Hey Rachael, follow me to the mall"

Miley said to Rachael

"To do what?" Rachael asked

"To get Miss Kathy all these"

"You and your school mum,you won't kill us"

They moved to the mall and get everything they needed according to the list

"So what are you doing with her?" Kathy asked Rachael on seeing her returning with miley.

"She is my second half,so she follows me" Miley replied for Rachael.

"Miley I don't want to see you around Rachael again, she is a bad influence" said Kathy after she sent Rachael out

"Well,no Rachael, no me,so we are together,and cannot be separated," miley replied nonchalantly

"I will be talking to you and you won't answer me,you better be warn"

"Mistress,I and Rachael became friends before you came so you can't separate us",miley said to Kathy before leaving
