The nanny's summer

"Joy Sebastian, come down here now" a voice resounded in the house as Joy smiled upstairs and gently climbed down from her bed, wore her cute pink fluffy slippers and walked out of her room to meet her father. The impatient almighty Goerge Sebastian was already climbing up to meet his daughter since she refused to respond to his calling.

"finally, the goddess decided to hear my calling" he said as they met at the stairs. "Dad, let's talk in your study, you won't want aunty Mimi to hear us scream" she said silently but audible to the man in front of her, "so now, you know what this is all about, hmm" Goerge said but she pulled her father's hand with a cunny smile on her face and led him to the study, she looked left and right before shutting the door of the study. The frustrated George immediately sat on his favorite gray chair and watched his daughter as she comfortably sat on the opposite chair like a queen in a ceremony.

"May I know the simple reason you have to send your new Nanny away" Goerge said with a red eye. "Dad, don't scare me like that, I surely do have a reason for sending them away" she said reluctantly, "ohh, please tell me it's one of those your silly reasons like, she packed my lunch pack wrong, she doesn't know my favorite plate, she gave me watermelon instead of pineapple, if it's one of it, I don't want to hear it, give me a tangible reason or I will bring her back now" Goerge said mimicking her attitude and voice whenever she make complains of her nannies making her to laugh. "Dad, I do have a tangible reason this time. She pulled my hair roughly while combing it and when I complained she ignored me, I complained again and she said no wonder my mum left me, that I am just a lousy nagging baby" joy said and Goerge raised his eye to see if Joy said the truth or not. "I couldn't hold on having a nanny insult me because of my mother's irresponsible attitude". After close scrutinizing, Goerge asked her one more time if she is saying the truth and she confirmed. Goerge knew certainly at the back of his mind that Joy was hurting behind that smile of hers but he still couldn't help more that this, he doesn't want to hear her crying because of this anymore, she was born a premature and prone to sickness, and evach time she cries heavily, she falls sick and get admitted for days.

"Okay, I have heard you on this, we won't talk about it again but next time, inform me before you send any nanny away" he said as he stands up and rubs her head. "Dad, did you rush from work to confirm the reason why I sacked a nanny?" Joy asked and Goerge smiled, "go and change, I will to go on a date with you, my lady" Goerge said and joy was shocked, "are you been sincere right now?" She asked in disbelief as she raised her head to look at her father's face who had his signature smile on his face. "Yes, let this gentleman spend time with you today" Goerge said and urged her to go and change, joy immediately went out while Goerge checked on his job updates before he went to change to casual date wear. He met joy sitting on the chair in the sitting waiting patiently for him, "let go milady" he said and stretched his hand to her and she held his hand and they went out. They got to the parking lot and joy picked the call of her choice, she claimed she wanted a low profile date, so she picked an Audi R8 and George drove her to the restaurant of her choice.

In Academy of art university, Durham, exactly 3:55am, two level 3 fashionists who were deeply engrossed in their work in the work room, they were joyfully working on their projects while playing romantic songs and singing along, dramatically getting their works done. "I can't wait to see the surprise on my dad's face when he sees my project" Maria said as she has a look of satisfaction on her face while looking at her almost done work and Beatrice smiled, "you know, this project is the last for this semester, I can't wait to go home to my father and also see Sam, I miss them, Sam will have grown taller than me now" she said and keep working on her fabric, "I also miss Sam, my forever sweetheart" Maria said as she looked at her work again with a look of satisfaction.

"The teachers will be surprised to see our project, especially yours, this isn't my best but this is the best for a short period of time, I'm proud of myself" Maria said as she rested her back and eat her chocolates, "don't tell me you are tired already" Beatrice said as she eye her and continued her work, "I have tried my best, it's almost day break, I can't even feel my feet anymore,I am aching all over, we started in the evening till now, trust me, I will faint if I should continue working" Maria started her complaint with a pout."are you sure you want to be a fashion designer or just a rich fellow who loves to dress herself and know what is best for her skin" Beatrice said as she walked to her and picked the chocolate from her side, biting little before sitting and observing her work from sidelines. "I just want to be free, no stress" Maria said as she placed her head on Beatrice's shoulder looking for comfort.

"Then just be a ghost, then I will give your crush out to Cassandra Cain" Beatrice said and Maria immediately raised her head and glare at Beatrice, "don't you dare to touch my man, and don't mind that fakie before me, she is just to fake and arrogant" Maria said with a cold eye. Beatrice started laughing at her, it was then she realized she had been fooled, Beatrice was just trying to talk her into realizing that she still needs to work.

"Up, up, few minutes before day break, so let's be fast, you can't win the heart of the great Basse like this, you win him over with your dedication and hard work, not with your lazy ass beauty"she said, "at least I'm beautiful enough to woo him over" Maria said as she watch her start her work again, she couldn't help but envy her zeal for fashion and her dedication to designing, "I envy your zeal, Bea" Maria said and they started their work back, as they were dancing and eating their snack till day break.

By 7:00am, they were done with their work, they both lay flat on the measuring table, they looked at eachother and started laughing like maniacs, it was their laughed that attracted the headmistress, she opened the door and saw the messed up girls, looking all rough, "what's 1 this?" She yelled calling the attention of the two girls.

Their heart was already in their mouth when who appeared before them was goddess of war, the most strict woman no one wants to see, they could boldly see fire with an hefty flames accompanying it while looking at her, being scared was an understatement, they were ready to pee on themselves if she should talk again. Beatrice was already shaking like leaf while Maria gathered her last strength and energy to respond to her questions before they land themselves in detention zone for the next 3 days,

"ma, we just completed our project, we will take care of the room now." Maria said politely to the woman. They were praying to their God that the woman will be merciful and free them to clean up and rest, eagerly looking at her eye if it will reflect an emotion and let them be relieved.

"you both were up all night working on your projects?"

The head Mistress asked as she walked toward the maniques, she was overwhelmed with the designs she saw,this is too much for a level 3 student to get done in just a night, this is exceptional.

"you guys did this from the scratch all night?" She said

Beatrice and Maria looked at eachother not knowing if they should be happy or crying.

Maria quickly replied "Yes".

The headmistress was very proud of them, she normally do not praise student but a rare smile appeared on her face as she looked at the exhausted two and looked at the floor which was messed with snacks nylon and leftover fabrics. "Go and clean up, rest and see me whenever you are done, I will keep the keys to this room" the headmistress said and they nodded, packed her stuffs and walked out, the mistress looked at the designs one more time before locking the room and working away with the keys.

In diamond villa

"Aunty Mimi" Joy called out softly as she was serving her food.

Happiness fills her heart each and every time Joy calls out to her, working for Goerge at her early fifties was a wish comes true as she could gladly watch over the family of her benefactor, Goerge father was her benefactor that she plead her life to, it was much but it was what makes her happy, Goerge doesn't treat her as a worker but an aunty, she has watched Goerge all her life and glad to watch this nasty girl of his pull her tricks everytime and that was all she wishes her life will be all about.

"Isn't today the day little Maria will submit her project?" She asked as aunty Mimi knew the little nasty individual was coming up with another bad idea that will frustrate the father once he comes back from work.

"Yes, why did you ask?" Aunty Mimi asked as Joy immediately pouted since she realized she had her attention fully, all to herself.

"Why don't I go and cheer her up?" Joy said and a bomb exploded in aunty Mimi's heart, why will she think of such!, This girl will surely be the death of her!, Joy, please spare my old soul from your father's wrath.

"We don't need to, she is fine" she replied to Joy's words carefully but planning to leave, she wanted to try her luck if she can excape from the craws of the little White witch.

"Aunty Mimi, we can go and come back today, it's still early, it's a Saturday, daddy won't be home untill 9:00 am, the journey is just 2hours, the earlier the better, or, maybe .." she said and aunty Mimi's heart was already racing kilometers. "Your father might decide to come home earlier" aunty Mimi said as she rubs her head, trying to pacify the demon that brought the idea to life in her. Unfortunately, the demon grew wings .

"Are you going or I go alone?" She asked as she jumped down, making her two ponytails jump and dance around. "Okay" aunty Mimi could only follow her orders, no one controls better than this nasty girl. Aunty Mimi faked her smile as she followed her to the car and the driver started the journey, luckily, she slept for more than half of the journey while aunty Mimi kept praying to her ancestors that nothing should go wrong with this plan of theirs or she would be at the den of lion.

At exactly 11:30 am, they got to the school gate, they drove in and went to park at the visitor's space, joy was the first to jump down and ran to the administration office, aunty Mimi quickly followed behind her to monitor here because joy can be so unpredictable sometimes, losing her is a deadly mission.

The last time she lost track of her was a visit to the mall, Joy went missing as she almost went cracy looking for her only to finally find her at a musical band, she was sitting in their middle enjoying their comment about her, when they wanted to carry home, she refused and when she got forced, she cried till she was admitted in the hospital.

"hello, cute baby girl?" The voice of the young lady as the entrance was the first thing aunty Mimi heard as she walked towards them, "I want to see someone " Joy said and earned a smile from her, the lady picked up a register and asked joy with a kind eye which name she was looking for and she mentioned Maria Sebastian. The expression on her face frozen.

"are you Maria daughter?" She asked but Joy didn't reply to her questions as aunty Mimi chuckled. "I can't believe that b*tch as a kid" the lady said and joy raised her face up, joy was really angry at her choice of word but could only wait to get an a direction before insulting her, aunry Mimi was already glaring at her from the side as she could see she is all shades of arrogance and rudeness.

Cassandra drop the register and pick her phone to update her school website. Joy looked at her curiously before talking, "are you still helping me?" She asked while Cassandra looked at her with disdain before she changed her expression, "I opt-in a faster and easier way to get her to you with fames added" she said and joy could roughly guess what her decision will be.

Before Cassandra could move on with her plan, the administrator entered with Beatrice, "what going on here?" He asked and Cassandra was scared, "I... I'm helping this little girl look for her mommy" she replied and the administrator looked at Joy, "is that true?" He asked and joy pout, "no, she insult me and called my aunty a B word" Joy said with a wronged expression, aunty Mimi's soul was already laughing at the lady who just fell into Joy hands. All she should start praying for is the demons in her not to push her to the apex.

"I didn't"

Cassandra tried to deny and shut Joy up but Joy went straight to the administrator with a pout.

"she said, she will make the whole school know that my aunty is a mother which is a lie, shouldn't she be sued?, Or this how the while school is, training to blackmail people and be rude to visitors?" Joy asked and the administrator was speechless.

After several thoughts, the administrator decided to punish Cassandra or else the nagging girl in front of him won't stop, he looked sideways to see Beatrice still standing and trying her best to keep her laughter hidden. "Beatrice, help the little cutie find her aunty while I punish Cassandra" he said and Beatrice nodded, "so your name is Cassandra, you don't worth the name, you are just a B word, lady" Joy said making everyone in the room speechless, Cassandra was already foaming, pressing her hand tight on the phone, almost breaking it.

Beatrice walked joy out of the administration office, then she noticed aunty Mimi, "good day, ma, who are you looking for?" She asked as she held Joy's hand, "Maria Sebastian" Joy said, and Beatrice also looked shocked, "is she your aunty?" Beatrice asked with a smile, "Yes" joy replied with a smile, "my name is Beatrice Jones, your sister is my best friend, I will take you to meet her now but we have to prank her" she said and joy happily nodded, she finally found an adult with the same energy as her.

"let go and prank her" Beatrice said and joy smiled and followed her.

Aunty Mimi was speechless as the sudden change of the grown up into Joy's age, she seems to be also playful like joy and maybe nasty like her.

Aunty Mimi silently walked behind both of them who were talking and matching to the room, when they got to the front of the room, they quietly lifted the nylon they found and poured water into it then tiptoed into the room and burst the water on Maria's head, she woke up immediately looking like a drenched cat, Beatrice quickly brought out her phone and took a picture of her.

"Bea, I kill you today"

That was the first thing Maria said as soon as she opened her eye, not noticing Joy and aunty Mimi.

"Kill me as well, and also aunty Mimi" Joy said and Maria rubbed her eye thinking she was hallucinating, "I heard Joy's voice" she said and rubbed her eye one more time

The last time she saw Joy was the last holiday and meeting her is both blessings and curse, she won't quit pranking her each time she got a chance, maybe that is more to the water waking process she received today.

"Joy Sebastian" Maria said after confirming that the girl was right in front of her in fresh and blood, "calling my full name sure runs in your family blood" Joy said with a pout. "look at my favorite kiddo" Maria said trying to hug her but Joy backed off.

"I'm the only kiddo you know, and no hugging with you in your wet diapers" Joy said and Beatrice started laughing. Maria glared at the two of them before standing, she greeted aunty Mimi before going to get dressed.

She came back looking fresh and clean, she saw Beatrice and Joy catching up like old friends, holding hands and laughing like maniacs.

"To what do I owe this not too pleasant surprise" she asked and Joy looked at her, "I came to cheer you up for your last project" she asked.

Maria was shocked, was she keeping tabs on me!

"Thanks, how did brother allow you?" Maria asked as she picked one of the peanut Beatrice served Joy.

"Don't mention his name, he might hear you"joy said placing her hand on her lip. Maria's face widen, "you sneaked over?" She said with fear written all over her.

Maria's got pale immediately she thought of how protective her brother is toward Joy and what he will do if he found out Joy sneaked to meet her.

"I didn't support this idea, it's all on you and aunty Mimi, I didn't invite you here" Maria was already shivering as she picked her phone to call Goerge but Joy collected it, she rolled her eye at her aunt's nervousness.
