THE NIGHTMARES CAME SEEMING LIKE IT NEVER WANIS TO END, SCARING THE LIVING DAYLIGHT OUT OF HER........RILEY BLACK.

"Please save my baby, don't do this please, no oo" a bloodied woman screamed holding a baby all covered in blood, the baby crying non stop.

"Please...." The woman screamed out again stretching forth her hands covered in blood.

"Nooo" Raelynn yelled in her sleep, her eyes immediately sprang open as she got up quickly, panting hard.

"I'm fine, I'm fine,it's just another nightmare" Raelynn breathlessly reassured herself, packing her hair in a ponytail.

She was having them again, nonstop dreams of people in blood begging for help with hollow eyes.

She's been having traumatic dreams ever since she was five and that was after her family was murdered right in front of her, her grandfather, pregnant aunt and uncle, they were all covered in blood, they just started coming and that scene has not stopped haunting her till now.

"Darling everything alright?" Her mother Riley asked to open the door to her room, she definitely heard her scream,that's why she rushed over.

"Yea, I'm fine" Raelynn breathlessly replied as Riley sat beside her.

"Another nightmare?" Riley queried, ever since that night, Raelynn had been having nightmares, she literally had sleeping problems for the first six years and now she's getting older, she's just trying to be strong.

All Raelynn is aware of are the lies that were told to her by her mother,as she claimed they were killed by a wild animal, as Riley concluded that Raelynn was special.

She could have allowed whatever happened that night to pass by,but when Raelynn started experiencing strange signs, she was sure Raelynn was something.

She had great hearing abilities, strength,and a great vision at night and the most interesting one of all was that she kinda healed faster than a normal human.

So after a series of research it was concluded that Raelynn might be a werewolf, it kind of scared a the living hell out of her, but she just had to accept that fact and keep Raelynn close.

Riley couldn't believe it at first but with all the signs, she had to believe it all.

Settling down was a very hard thing for both the mother and the daughter.

Riley had to make sure Raelynn stayed hidden and stayed out of trouble,and also lived like a normal human.

Words later got to her that werewolves were sighted in Oklahoma city,so she moved in just a week ago,at least to get something like a positive result or rather a solution.

"No mom, I was just flattered that's all, the scholarship remember, I got the scholarship into Loma prestigious school for the elites, I mean that's the best place to improve my art work" Raelynn lied hoping her mother would buy that, before they moved to Oklahoma she took the scholarship examinations and luckily passed the exam.

She received the email last night and didn't want to disturb her, thank goodness she didn't spill it last night, because she's using that as leverage now.

"My goodness, I am so happy for you, we should celebrate," Riley joyously said, hugging Raelynn tight.

"We'll do just that, but I have to run along now, I still have an interview with them,I have to freshen up" Raelynn gave her mother a peck before dashing into the bathroom.

Riley watched her daughter's silhouette disappear,she exhaled deeply, she stood up to make Raelynn 's bed.

She clearly knew she had a nightmare yet again, Raelynn has really been trying these days to prove she's strong, she's definitely still having sleep problems.

Riley never had the courage to tell Raelynn the truth of what happened eleven years ago, when her family was murdered.

All Raelynn knows is that she woke up covered in blood and has no slightest idea what happened.

Ever since that day, she could not stand the sight of blood, she literally passes out each time she sees blood, especially a large amount of it.

Riley has been doing a lot of research for the past few years about Raelynn 's nature, the only clue she was able to get was right here in Oklahoma city.

All Riley could think of as the cause was nature or it came from her father who can accidentally be a werewolf.

Who up till today, she hasn't heard a word from, she tried searching but all results were futile, so she's long given up on ever finding him.

Her next agenda now was to make Raelynn belong here, she's new in Oklahoma and hasn't even made a single friend, well Raelynn is kind of an indoors person.

She just loves being on her own and hates interfering in other people's lives or matters.

Now she's going to a school solely made fir the elite children, Riley can do nothing but Raelynn she can blend in and live a normal life.

"Not now mother I'll be late for my interview" Raelynn yelled from her home, getting dressed as fast as she can, she's meant to be at the school by nine and it's fucking past eight.

"You need to have breakfast!!" Riley informed yelling as well as she set up the table.

"Am so sorry mom, but i'm already late, don't forget I have to grab a bus, I promise to have breakfast immediately after the interview" Raelynn promised alighting from the stairs.

"But baby..."

"Mom, how do I look?" Raelynn asked as Riley studied her, dressed in a tank top with trousers and as always hair tied up.

"Beautiful my dear, I've told you countless times baby, no one can compete with your beauty" Riley complimented earning Raelynn a wide grin who rushed to hug her mother.

"I love you mom" Raelynn whimpered as Riley patted her hair softly.

"Ok I gotta run along " Raelynn whispered, breaking free from the hug.

"I've told you Lynn stop tying your hair up" Riley scolded, this has always being a habit of Raelynn , she has really long dark brown hair that she's attempted to cut short in the past, but Riley always stopped her, so Raelynn resorted to tying it up in a ponytail or a messy bun.

"Bye, I'll see you"

"Don't get into trouble"

"You know I would never," Raelynn assured leaving the house quickly.

Riley walked to the table to have breakfast, since she had somewhere to be.

She has to secure a good job, the little money she has is already running out.

Raelynn stopped the taxi she took in front of the school gate,she tucked her hair behind her ear for the fourth time out of nervousness since she boarded a taxi.

Her ocean eyes followed the trail of trees that led to two massive gates.

The gates opened wide as she walked in taking in deep breaths.

The watchman by the gates came stopping her from moving forward.

The man was a little chubby and short with shabby hair.

"Am here for my interview" Raelynn spoke seeing the watchman was just staring obviously waiting for her to speak first.

"Your ID" came a curt reply as Raelynn handed over her ID to him.

"Let her pass," said the watchman, handing back the ID to her after inspecting it.

Raelynn could feel the man's gaze on her and it made her feel uncomfortable, so she hastened her footsteps, walking into the main building.

As she walked into the school, Raelynn took note of her surroundings, there were lots of tall buildings and also lots of trees around.

The school felt like a different world to Raelynn away from the city because of the location and the fact she's new to Oklahoma, she has not really gotten used to the environment around her.

The school was surrounded by acres of land that was mostly forest.

Raelynn took note of the people around her, school has already begun its sessions here, thankfully with her former principal's help, she was able to secure a space here and also took the scholarship examinations, luckily she passed.

The place where she stood didn't look deserted,and some students were seen loitering around,in and out of the building.

"Deep breath Raelynn, you can do this" she whispered encouragingly, before climbing up the stairs,one step at a time.

Walking on the hallway,she caught sight of the main office and stepped inside there.

She met a woman sitting behind the counter, scribbling something on the register.

"Hi"

The person looked up at her before asking

"How can I help you dear?"

"Well I am a transfer student, actually I'm here on scholarship, and was requested to come for my interview" Raelynn explained in one breath without a pause.

"Raelynn Black, if I am correct?"

"Yes ma" Raelynn answered.

"Come with me the school board meeting with you will commerce immediately"

Raelynn sat in a chair with four pairs of eyes looking at her, she's almost done with the interview, answering a whole lot of unnecessary questions.

"So Ms black, why do you want to come to Loma academy?" The female interviewer asked.

"Since this is the best place to pursue my dream in art work and this school is the best in giving that" came Raelynn curt reply, hoping she answered well.

"Have you ever lived in a dormitory? How might living with someone else affect you academically?"

"No I've never lived in a dormitory, and living with someone, you see am kind of the mind of your business person,so living with someone won't really affect Me as long as we understand each other '' Raelynn answered truthfully.

"Ok that will be all,you can meet Ms Elliot for your form, good luck to you and lastly stay out of trouble" the woman advised as Raelynn gave her a smile.

She would definitely stay out of trouble,she came here to study nothing else.

"Thanks"

"Ok,I think we're done here" the other man spoke for the first time since Raelynn came, Raelynn respectfully bowed before making her way back to Ms Elliott's office.

She earlier heard the female interviewer call the woman she met earlier Ms Elliot,so she knew she was the one she meant to return to.

"You know you're really lucky,not everyone gets approved immediately after the interview," Ms Elliot commented as Raelynn could do nothing but smile.

"Here you go" said Ms Elliot and Raelynn saw pieces of paper neatly kept in a file being placed on top the counter.

"The first one has your schedule, and the next two has details of your dorm and the rules of the school, make sure to read them" Ms Elliot informed.

"Thank you ma" Raelynn offered the woman a smile for helping her.

"You can get your uniforms tomorrow, Raelynn, you know you're paying for that?"

"Yes ma" Raelynn answered,she was clearly aware that the books, uniforms and some other stuff were not for free,so she's been saving up for this and has enough to get her uniforms.

"Good luck on your first day at Loma academy tomorrow"

"Than...wait tomorrow!!" Raelynn exclaimed in horror.

"Yes tomorrow Ms black,you're already far behind in your scheme,so make sure to be in school first thing tomorrow,you can send in your bags and trunks in the evening and it will safely be kept for you,it can make things a lot easier" Ms Elliot suggested as Raelynn thanked her before leaving the office.

Raelynn walked out of the school briskly,this time around a few numbers of students were seen.

' Maybe they are all in class now.' Raelynn thought

That Ms Elliot of a person must be kidding,how can she resume school the next day, she's not even gotten herself ready.

And to crown it all, she'll be staying in a dorm with a roommate.

The last school where she came from is a hundred percent different from this.

Like this school is giving some kind of vibe and Raelynn just feels like she belongs here,like this is home, not just the school but the whole of Oklahoma.

And there was this smell that was lingering around her when she just stepped into the main building the first time, it was the smell of a wet dog that was bathed in wet Clay.

But the smell was quick to disappear, Raelynn just felt that it was her heightened smell.

"Hello mom" Raelynn answered her phone.

"Where are you?" Riley's voice asked from the other side, slightly worried.

"Am about to leave now, I'll be home soon"

"Ok don't keep me waiting" Riley said before the call disconnected, as Raelynn shrugged her shoulders, her mother tends to worry a lot.

SHE WAS NEW THERE AND THE PEOPLE AROUND WERE NOT REALLY KIND TO BE AROUND......

"I still can't believe you got into this school" Riley said tapping her fingers on the car wheels anxiousness to leave her daughter all by herself.

Yes she was nervous, looking at the school,one would know that it was no ordinary school,she didn't fail to notice the students loitering around,and the way they were dressed one could reason that they were all filthy rich.

Riley pulled the car over from a place not too far away from the main building, Raelynn freed herself from the seat belt and stepped out from the car.

"Your things must have already gotten here since it's allowed to bring it in a day before resumption, here, I guessed you will need these" Riley pulled out a bag from the trunk handing it over to Raelynn .

"Thanks mom, you're the best" Raelynn hugged her mom happily, this's the first time she's gonna be separated from her mother and live far away.

It really hurts alot, she's literally gonna be away from her mother for a long time.

"I read in the form that you can visit every second Saturday of the month,call me immediately when you settle down and never forget to be a good girl,and remember mummy loves you"

"Love you too" Raelynn replied as her mother nodded,she was so happy Raelynn is schooling here in Loma academy.

She waved again at her mother fighting back her tears, once she got into her car and left.

Riley mentioned she had something very important to take care of, she was gonna find a place to run a restaurant,and she just found the perfect place,so she was gonna check it out.

Raelynn took a deep breath as she got into the building.

She did not fail to notice the eyes of students watching her.

She decided to ignore, tightening her grip on her bag as she climbed the stairs trying to find her dorm.

Her footsteps were quick following the map with her to find her dorm.

Dragging her bag with her as she got off the stairs,she did not fail to notice that it wasn't just delinquents but some of the students had a particular style.

Like not everyone was in their uniforms, some just wore the school blazers for girls with revealing skirts, while others were in pants or even bum shorts.

As for the guys some were in ripped jeans with just the school jacket, only a few wore complete uniforms.

She also didn't fail to notice the piercing on some of the students,not to mention the colors of hairs,it almost looked like a color riot among them.

The last place where she studied had strict rules like: piercing, tattoos, lipstick and other accessories were all contraband and warranted detention.

Looking at the sheets on her hand,she failed to notice two pairs of girls coming towards her as they bumped into each other.

"Hey fresh meat on campus, watch it," one of the girls said sarcastically.

"Am sorry" Raelynn apologized.

"Well you better be" the other responded. Raelynn didn't want to be rude since it was her first day here,so she just ignored it.

"Please where can I...."

"Blah blah...."they both muttered while walking away.

"Seriously" Raelynn exclaimed, bending over to gather the papers back in place.

"You don't need to mind them, fresh meat" Hearing the voice behind her, Raelynn turned ready to shout at the person,no more being nice and she's no fucking fresh meat.

"You.." Raelynn immediately stopped in her tracks . Immediately she saw the person behind her holding a piece of paper that obviously belonged to her.

He looked so cute and handsome, he also held a charming smile on his face that could melt any one's heart.

He had jet black hair and eyes that kind of reflected hers.

Speaking of piercings, he also had one on his eyebrows and it fitted perfectly.

"Raelynn Black" he read out from the paper he was holding without stress

"You were saying?" He asked, raising a brow at her.

"I was looking for the first dorm, could you be kind enough to point me in the right direction?" Raelynn asked politely.

"Dorm?" Questioned the boy.

"Yea,am actually new and kind of lost"

"I Know,saw that little family touching moment that happened a while ago" he responded referring to her and her mother.

"You.."

"Don't get me wrong,I just smelt something unusual on you,so I decided to check, Levi Declan" he introduced himself as they both exchanged handshakes, while Raelynn looked at him in curiosity.

"Earlier you said.."

"Your dorm's this way, follow me" he interrupted walking into the left wing, avoiding her questions as Raelynn just followed behind him.

While walking behind Levi,she noticed the discreet looks some students gave them,but Levi seemed unfazed by the attention,as they spoke in hushed tones which Raelynn could hear.

The last comment made her scoff, looks like Levi was popular among girls,so she'll need to avoid him, and they all need to stop calling her a fresh meat.

"The school doesn't usually have transfer students, during the second week of resumption, what brings you here?"

questioned Levi.

"I just moved to Oklahoma" replied Raelynn receiving a questioning gaze from him.

"Well my mom recently got transferred over" she lied as he nodded.

When they reached the dorm, some of the girls stared at her,but after some time,she realized she was not the one they were all staring at but Levi.

"Here's your room" said Levi handing her the piece of paper he's been holding, Raelynn walked forward and saw the door that had '115' nailed on it.

"You should be fine from here"

"Thanks for showing me the way" Raelynn appreciated sincerely, because she'd probably still be wandering around in the hallways.

"Have fun" Levi fared before walking away from Raelynn .

Raelynn pushed the door open carrying her bag with her,she noticed her trunks she sent the say before were already inside.

She exhaled deeply and closed the door shut.
