The lady with the hidden face

Zoey Headley had finally passed the bar and was on her way of realizing her dream of becoming a lawyer. She decided to celebrate this mile stone by having dinner at a famous restaurant on the hip stripe known has Scotchies by the Sea. Eventhough she did not have anyone to celebrate with she decided to enjoy the evening to the fullest.

She order jerk chicken and rice and peas her favourite and a cool coconut water. To finish up she had a huge piece of coconut drizzle cheese cake and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. She then paid her bill and got up to go to the rest room to wash up. She finished washing her hands and mouth and just open the rest room door to exit when she glipse someone she thought she would never see again.

She went back inside the rest room and stand quitely thinking what to do. Under no circumstance must this person see her or know that she was living on the island. She went into one of the stall and decided to wait for some minutes before trying to leave. She sat on the toilet seat and rest her head on the side of the stall. She could hear ladies going in and out the rest room until all became silent and she jump up because she had nodded off without realizing. She looked on her watch and saw that an hour had passed enough time for him to have dinner and left the restaurant. She look outside the door it was all quite like the restaurant was getting ready to close. She decided that she should leave now and walk out towards the exit door and the security let her out but not before asking where she was because the restaurant had closed about fifteen ago. She told him she was having a belly ache and was in the rest room and did not realized that the restaurant had closed.

She went to the parking lot to get her vehicle and only her's and another vehicle was there. She quickly got in and drove out of the parking lot and headed home. She glanced in the rear view mirror at one point and thought someone was following her but the vehicle turn off on another exit and she continue heading home.

It normally takes about fifteen minutes to reach home but because I was nervous about been followed I decided not to go home but instead spend the night at a gaming lounge. I drove to the famous gaming lounge known has Irie Games and park my car and sat in it for about an hour. I then decided to go inside after I had scope out the comings and goings of the patrons. I did not see anyone I knew and that was when I open my door to step out and something made me look back up to the entrance and to my suprise there was Chad Bennett.

How the hell did he get here? The last time I saw that face was when I escaped the hell of a marriage I had with him by fleeing in the night one year again. So lets go down memory lane two years ago. I met the most dashing and charming gentleman ever. So I was in France studying to be an Artist and my focus was working with clay. I could design anything using clay and was about to put on my first exhibition and was just putting the final touches to my creations when in walked the most gorgeous man I have ever seen. I stop what I was doing and walked over to him to find out if he was lost. He indicated that he was looking for Zoey and was told he would find her here.

Now I was curious with what this fine man wanted with me so off course I indicated that I was her and what I could do for him. He then let me know that he was also a final year student but because of a family emergency he had left earlier in the year and was just getting back after sorting out the issue at home. But he was now in a bind because his partner signed up with someoneelse and the only person who did not have a partner was me and if I could share venue with him. You must understand this guy was so handsome he made my teeth hurt. I told him that I did not want a partner because I did not want to overshadow anyone designs or have anyone overshadows mine. He then indicated that his work would complement mine that was why he asked in the first place. I then told him I would have to see his works before I decide. He said fine he would bring a few of his pieces and then I could decide where to put them and then he left. I then shouted after him we will see because I had not decided to add his pieces and he just turn around and smile and said see you later.

So back to present day. I sat on the seat unable to move. I wander if he had seen me before and if he was the one I thought was following me from the restaurant. I decided not to panick and just watch to see what he was doing. I was so grateful that I had turn off the engine when I parked the car so there was no light to give anyone the notion that someone was in there. He was standing at the door looking around but I was not sure what or who he was looking for. I then saw a very beautiful woman walk up to him and hugged his arm and he looked at her and smiled.

I then breathe a little easier and thank the creator because now I know he does not know that am here. So I just relaxed after I saw them go back inside. I gave myself another fifteen minutes then I drove out and headed home. I kept looking in the overhead mirror to be sure I was not been followed and there was no other vehicle light on the road but mine. I got home and took a shower and went to bed. I was just about to fall asleep when I heard knocking on my door. You must understand that I share a flat with two other ladies and each of us have our own bedroom and bathroom. So far the most part we are so busy when we each gets home we all just want to sleep. That was also the reason I was celebrating alone because both of them would have been at work. I was just wandering who was at the door so for some strange reason I decided to ask who it was. For my worst nightmare to answer saying it is your husband Chad. You do remember him right? He said. I was speechless I could not talk for a full minute. He then said open the door Zoey do not let me have to open it for you. What do you think Zoey will do?
