It was 9pm. The hall was bright and sparkling, the lightning was perfect for the occasion. Chandeliers hanging above the hall. The atmosphere was bubbling with soft music with the touch of violin. Chatting and laughter can be heard in the hall and alcohol filled the air, mixed with different kinds of dignitaries who were present at the party.

It wasn't just any party, it was a grand one that had limited access.

Las Vegas is a city filled with different form of humans and supernaturals. "Logan keep your eyes open for Mr Douglas, we have to get him on our side" Zeriel said holding a glass of champagne approaching towards a group of people alongside with Logan he halts, just then a young lady bumps into him spilling the drink on his exquisite limited edition suit customised just for him.

"S-sorry" she shutters as she raises her head and froze instantly at the sight before her, every other word was lost as she stared blankly at him, there was silence for a few seconds before she regained herself. "I-I'm really sorry" she said while reaching out to wipe the stain off his dress, Zeriel takes a few steps backwards before she could touch him.

He walks out of the party hall trying to navigate his way looking for the convenience room. Finally he caught a glimpse of it by the corner from the alley.He storms into the male restroom angrily. "What a clumsy little thing" he muttered to himself. The lady had been silently walking behind him all the way from the party hall hoping to apologise properly to the young man. She immediately halted and stops at the door as she realises he just walked into the 'Gents' restroom it was not convenient for her to walk inside so she waited for him to come out,"I could pay for the damages" she said sounding awkwardly as he walks out of the door.

"Stay away", A deep husky cold voice sounded harshly in her ears. "Sir it was really an accident I didn't mean ..." he gives her a cold yet warning look before she could finish her words. "Back off", He said, at this point Logan walks towards him but he storms out on getting to the exit he turns to logan."Stay back and complete the deal" he said to Logan.

"Aye sir" Logan chuckled then turned towards Alisah, "be mindful of your steps next time young lady", he instructed. "Thank you", Alisha responded feeling more assured. "Is he always like that?" She asked inquisitively. "Sometimes" he replied, "I'll take my leave," he said walking away as he caught a glimpse of another lady approaching.

"Are you okay Alisha?" Maddie asked as she fondly liked to call her name. "Okay?, infact I almost got into trouble" she replied as they both walked back into the hall. "Trouble? I saw you talking to that cute guy. Who is he?" She asked, smiling mischievously.

"I just met him,I bumped into his friend earlier and spilled my drink on him accidentally".

"I told you to wait for me, why did you run off?" Maddie asked her, looking at her suspiciously. "Hey don't give me that look, did you expect me to watch you tease the guy you met not long ago? you never cease to amaze me" she said rolling her eyes. "I hope you got the contact of the guy, he's so hot gosh" said maddie smiling lustfully.

"Speaking of hotness, you would have melted if you met the guy I bump into earlier, he's so...." Alisha paused absurdly. "So what?? Why are you dazing?" Maddie looked at Alisha with inquisitiveness,Alisha snapped out and continued, "I.. I can't find a perfect word to describe him, I was lost in his sight too.

He has chiseled jaws and masculine face with dark hair, gray eyes and pointed nose. She said fantasizing "His body is well built with nice muscles and broad shoulders, I've never lusted in such sight to behold." She was lustfully describing the handsome stranger She knew she could never forget such a handsome guy, but his behavior was not so attractive.

"Cut it out" Maddie said as she snaps her two fingers in front of Alisha's face. She knew that her friend hardly fancies a guy,but for her to be drooling over this stranger it meant he was indeed as handsome as she described. "If he's more handsome than his friend cute friend I just saw to talking to then I think he's dashingly beautiful and super hot" she was already imagining the strangers looks.

"Let's go meet his friend," Maddie said, dragging Alisha by the wrist. "hell no" Alisha drags Maddie back, "don't start the guy has quite a temper. I don't think I'd like to meet him again, his voice sends shivers down my spine, and he looks dangerous". She said warning Maddie. "I don't believe it" Maddie replied and Chuckles, she continued "with money there's no guy I can't get if I'm determined".

Alisha laughed "Not this one maddie definitely not these" she said as they walked to find a place to sit.

Logan was on a phone call while leaving the party around midnight he made his way toward the parking space, he stops in front of his car and leans his body beside his black flashy car to continue his conversation on the phone. "Don't worry I've sealed the deal just as it should be, Mr Douglas has agreed to sell his shares to us. We'll discuss the details and make a meticulous plan when I get home". He assured the caller over the phone.

Logan got into the car and starts the engine holding the phone close to his left ear "I'll be home soon", he said lastly before hanging up,Looking at the side mirror he slowly revised the car,driving out of the garage,he suddenly jerked back after hitting the brake pad absurdly due to what he saw.

"What the fuck, Watch where you're going". He said to the two ladies who stood in his way. He was lucky the car light were on,else it would have resulted to an accident.The ladies seem drunk to him. He signed touching his forehead. Maddie escapes from the Alisha's grip and runs over to the car. She hits both hands on the bumper of his car.

Logan was phased by the scene before him,he watched as she gradually heads towards the driver's side "Get out of my car this instant, you thief" the lady ordered in her drunken state. Logan chuckles at the unbelievable thing he just heard. He remained silent,thinking of ways to handle the situation.

Alisha rushed to rushed towards her friend to drag Maddie off the car but she struggled off her grip. "I'm sorry" Alisha whispered to Logan who was still inside his car. He gently winds down his glass. "I'm in a hurry, please get her out of my car. He takes a closer look at Alisha recognising her he points towards her asking, "aren't you the girl from earlier?".

"Yeah," Alisha admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed. She tucks her hair behind her ears trying to avoid his eyes,while holding on to Maddie with the her left hand. "I'm so sorry my friend is just tipsy. She said still trying to get Maddie off his car, Maddie on the other hand didn't seem to let go nor want to leave. "She's beyond tipsy but wasted," Logan said, groaning.

Do you girls have a thing with bumping into people? He asked curiously.

"Get out of my car" maddie repeated this time she started dragging the door handle, she gags and tries to throw up. Alisha catching on what was about to happen she quickly yanked Maddie's hands off the car to avoid her throwing up. Immediately Logan noticed she let go he turned to Alisha "Hold her tight," Logan ordered and drove off immediately, "So lousy" he muttered shaking his head.

"Don't do this here", Alisha shouted, finally gathering the strength to drag her off as they both headed towards Maddie's ride. "I told you not to drink much, you kept saying you're not drunk, you just made me look embarrassed in front of that guy, wait till you find out how you embarrassed yourself when you're sober".

She threatened Maddie who wasn't even listening to her. She opens the car back door and lays Maddie at the back seat then enters the car. "Let's crash at my place", she said looking back at her friend who was already sleeping peacefully at the back seat. She turned on the car and drove off.

It was the next morning, Alisha was still lying on the bed sleeping when Maddie who was already up walks in from the bathroom, she heads towards the bed and wakes Alisha up.

"Lisha get up, you have lots of explanation to do", she said as she tapped Alisha. She sits up and stretches her body yawning," Allow me to sleep some more" she replied in a cranky voice.

"No no it's already 9am, go freshen up", Maddie taps her again, "ouch" Lisha groans,"I'm having a terrible headache".

She groaned,"so do i", replied Maddie, "I guess it's from the hangover of yesterday's alcohol".

"Speaking of hangover" lisha grabs a pillow to hit maddie who caught her action quickly and runs out, lisha stands up and chases her to the living room after running severally. They pause, gasping for air and laughing aloud.

"You needed to see yourself yesterday, you embarrassed me" she said, covering her face with her palms. Be serious, Maddie replied, "I can't seem to remember what happened after the party".

"Of course you never remember, I'm the one who ends up dying of embarrassment" Lisha said sarcastically "ahhh Is it that bad?" The look on Lisha's face said something really bad happened. "You almost threw up on Logan's car, you know... the uh cute guy you saw talking to me yesterday". She said in a little annoyed yet sarcastic tone.

"You mean the cute friend of the guy you spilled a drink on?" Asked Maddie, covering her face in embarrassment. Lisha rolls her eyes "Oh yeah" mimicking her.

"Get out of my car you thief" ,Lisha laughed so hard that she started tearing up,"you needed to see the look on his face" she said laughing.

Maddie screams "oh no I've messed up my chances to approach him is now ruined, how do I face him?".

Alisha laughs out loud "you're still thinking of meeting him huh? you must be kidding me".

stomach rumbling , Alisha places her both hands on her stomach "I'm hungry" she said looking at maddie with cute puppy eyes, "cook us breakfast p_please...".

"All right, all right, let's have noodles" Replied maddie with a smile on her face "you always get me with those eyes of yours".

"Yaaah I'll keep you company" lisha said excitedly.

"Wait a sec,what is the time?" "It's half past 9 I guess" maddie replied heading towards the kitchen.

"What?" Screamed Lisha, "oh my gosh I'm so dead I'm late for work, I have to go". "It's Saturday dummy," she shouted from the kitchen, rolling her eyes.

"Oh I forgot" Iisha said smiling sheepishly "You'll go shopping with me after breakfast so get ready and brace yourself".

Meanwhile at Zeriel's house, Logan and zeriel were busy playing video games and discussing in the sitting room.

The house is very spacious and magnificent, it's like a mansion fit for a king.Speaking of which, he's a prince so the apartment fits him perfectly well, It has enormous space.

The mansion had 3 master rooms Down and 5 master rooms upstairs and another living room with dining too.

The sitting room downstairs has like 3 huge chandeliers hanging up, the house was all white including the marble on the floor, one would call it the White House, the furniture were all gold in color.

The cushions are soft and comfy holding their game pad and Logan shouted in frustration.

"Bro c'mon leave me some leeway would you? Can't you just pretend to let me win you, at least once" Logan was already frustrated he had lost five rounds and was still counting.

"No mercy" he smirks "Speaking of which guess who I bumped into last night on my way home".

"You know I despise guessing just get straight to the point"

Scoffs "you're sooo boring well okay, I met the clumsy girl who bumped into you earlier at the party"

"Don't remind me of such an incident, I really don't wanna recall such an unpleasant thing".

"Well her friend caused quite a scene in her drunken state, she actually called me a car thief" he chuckled mirthlessly "and almost threw up on my car, can you even believe that?"

"Of course I knew she's nothing but trouble, I'd avoid her at all cost" he said seemingly not interested in talking about the troublesome lady.

"The girl and her friend are quite troublesome. You have to get ready, let go shopping" Logan told Zeriel, smiling wolfishly.

"You can't be serious, shopping again are you a lady? don't you ever get tired?" Zeriel said, the frustration could be heard in his voice.

"Well you know me I'm obsessed with limited stuff so you know how much I'll nag you if you don't tag along and I won't definitely take NO for an answer".

"Fine okay fine" Zeriel stands up to walk away but stopped on his track by what he heard.

"Before we leave why don't you prepare a meal so we could eat"

He turns to look at Logan with a questioning look, "do I in any form look like a chef to you?"

"And by the way we have one in this house, I know but I really miss your cooking. Will you please do me the honors "? He said putting his hand together in a pleading manner.

"You must be kidding right?" Zeriel questions walking away as Logan grabs him by his leg.

"Please pretty please or I won't let you go" Zeriel chuckles "stop acting like a kid and tugging my leg, okay fine fine I'll cook but just this once".he said.

Logan stands up and jumps in joy like a kid who was handed ice cream "thanks" he rushed to go get changed.

"Hmmm childish" he walks towards the kitchen and starts preparing a dish,he is done in a few minutes, the aroma fills the entire house. "Ohhhh yummy that smells so delicious though I know it would taste better than it smells" his mouth was already watering as he dashed down the stairs and headed to the dining table.

"Bro I really think you should open a restaurant that might be your calling, you're wasting such a precious talent". He was preaching to make him change his mind, but he said that for his own gain he wanted to enjoy more of his food.

"Well it seems you're no longer hungry" , he gave him a warning stare.

He immediately starts eating, he was done in a jiffy. "Your food is much appreciated now let's hit the road".

"Not so fast I have to freshen up and get changed".

He stands up and walks towards the stairs, heading to his room upstairs, "don't worry I won't take much time" he turned to look at Logan who was already with the gamepad ready to start gaming.

It was noon and the sun was shining brightly in the sky. The famous Exquisite mall was seen with its magnificent building filled with different sections for both male and female fashion outfits, it was suited at the west side of the city, it attracted lots of wealthy people. It was a place only the rich and nobles could afford, it could be said to be one of the biggest malls in the city.

Alisha and Maddie could be seen walking into the building hand in hand as they discussed what they were about to buy. "Remember the latest channel bag I told you about a few days ago?, it's a limited edition with just two in the whole world, it's finally being sold today, I must be the first to buy it", she brings out her phone from her bag and shows lisha some contents on it. "Look I have been tracking and following up on the bag, they will start selling it in a few minutes so I'll just go over there while you look round for the stuff you like when I am done I'll pay for everything ok"? Lisha chuckled, and rolled her eyes. "Well, go chase your goods while I look around but don't take long, okay"?. She gave her a warning glare. "I won't" she speeds off.

Zeriel could be seen at the park with Logan after getting out of the car they were standing beside the car discussing. "Sooo where are we heading to first.

The jewelry store or the clothes store?" Logan asked, thinking of where to start from. "Your choice" he said and walked away heading into the mall. "Hey bro, wait up" he said, running to keep up with him. Walking in the mall Logan and zeriel they head towards the Jewellery store to buy some limited edition Richard Mille wrist watch model Rx-003 worth millions of dollars.

"Okay, bro let's go shopping" he said with a mischievous smile on his face. Alisha caught sight of zeriel and Logan. She gaps and in an instant she hides her face and puts on her sunglasses taking a scarf from her bag to wrap around her head to cover her face, "it's not enough"she thought. She raised her handbag to cover her face and then hastily headed towards their direction, seeing that was the only way out of the jewelry section. With all the covering she couldn't see clearly, then she missed her step and suddenly she bumps into him yet again. She groaned as she fell to the ground "lisha what the hell is wrong you? you just bumped into the crazy guy, is it that hard to avoid someone" she murmurs to herself.

Zeriel turns around feeling very irritated about what happened. "Did you just hear what she said about you?" Logan asked Zeriel with a smirk on his face. "No I didn't, did she say something", Logan looks at him confused, as they were talking Alisha took the initiative to sneak away. "Hey, you stop there", She froze on her track, "No no no not another Crazy scene with this guy". She said in her mind, thinking of ways to escape this awkward situation she landed herself in. Logan chuckles, at what he heard, "What is so funny?" Zeriel asked Logan in a confused manner. "Are you damn serious?You really can't hear her?" Do I look like I'm joking? Or do you think this is fun?".

Hiding her face with the scarf, "sir I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, I of course didn't see you there". "Ohh Really? I'm now so small that you didn't realize I was standing there huh"? He said sarcastically. "No no, you misunderstand me I.." Maddie interrupts by shouting her name and walking towards her, "Alisha" she waved her hands. Thinking aloud, "No not again she is gonna blow my cover.

She turns to Maddie, "let's go Maddie" she drags her but Maddie doesn't move, she was so fascinated by zeriel's beauty that she couldn't move and was in a daze, she couldn't believe there was someone as perfect as him in this world. "Maddie" Lisha shook her to wake her from her trance, "are you even listening to me?" "Yeah.. yeah.. I guess", she snaps from her frozen state.

Logan walks toward them, "ain't you the drunk lady who called me a car thief?" He said trying to remember her face while Maddie hides her face in embarrassment. Feeling shy, 'oh my God I am so busted', she said in her thoughts, one that didn't escape Logan's ear's, "no no I don't think so, maybe you're mistaken. "Ohhh I see your feigning ignorance huh" he said with a croky smile on his face. "Seems he recognised me' she whispered.

"Sir, I really can't remember ever meeting you anyways," she said, turning to lisha. "Maddie, can we go now?" Lisha asked, "I'm so dead", she said to herself. Zeriel's voice rang, feeling more infuriated.

"Are you gonna apologize or stand there with your face hidden?". He Couldn't believe the ladies acted as if he didn't exist, he was so mad cause they were murmuring like he was invisible to them. Lisha takes off her scarf and glasses He stares at her coldly. His face was now a few shades darker, "so it's you again.

Do you really enjoy bumping into people a lot or you just want to diss me off, yet again" he said with a cold voice, that would send chills down one's spine. "I.. I didn't know yo..you were the one" at this point she was shuttering, she clearly knew he was the one, rather she tried to avoid him earlier but ended up bumping into him again, she felt like an invisible magnet was always dragging her towards him.

"The next time you bump into me, accidentally or not I might as well charge you for stalking or just break those tiny legs of yours, are we clear?" He said in a menacing tone and walked out on them. "Crystal" She responded, 'hmmp who the hell does he think he is, wanna break my legs, he called them tiny God I'm so gonna break his neck'. "Logan, let's leave someone who just spoiled my mood" he said, so already walking away from them, their presence alone was infuriating enough for him. Logan definitely heard what Alisha said and he couldn't help but burst into laughter while walking to keep up with Zeriel. "What a fun lady," he whispered to himself, still laughing.

"That was a close one", Lisha said panting trying to catch her breath that she didn't know she held in. "Wow he's damn cute but also scary at the same time" Maddie said still staring at his back, " well I would prefer the other guy, uh what his name again, ah ha Logan his better" she was already sharing them both the she turned to Lisha,

"but seriously, what's with you always bumping into him?" "I don't know, I was only trying to avoid him," she said, rolling her eyes. "Are you sure you're not already into him?" Maddie said, smiling wolfishly. "Please I can never ever fall for someone as cold as him, i don't even think he has a heart, please let's just go and get the remaining stuff and head home I am already exhausted" Lisha told her. "Ok ok let's go, but you know ya never can tell '' she said smiling while Lisha just ignored her jokes, they both headed towards the direction of the shoes store.

Back at the garage they were done buying stuff,they were now discussing in the car how Zeriel couldn't hear Alisha's thoughts. "You mean you heard all her thoughts? How come I can't hear it too?" Zeriel asked with a complicated look on his face, Logan who was driving, couldn't figure out why either, it was one of their special gifts. "I can't tell either i'm as totally confused as you, I could clearly hear her thoughts with ease". "Zeriel frown deepen, "I need to find out why" "Maybe she is some kind of witch or something, well you should have heard what she said about you" he said chuckling. "Save it, I am not interested," Zeriel told Logan plainly and closed his eyes. "She called you a crazy guy" laughs out loud this time.

He opened his eyes almost immediately, the frown was back on his face, "so she actually wasn't apologizing but cursing me too, what a pretentious lady, she must have purposely done that", he scoffed and rested his head back. "Maybe you offended her in some way" Logan said looking at him but he earned himself a deadly glare".

"Hey don't look at me that way, there is a possibility, who knows but I think you both will make a perfect match" he smirked at Zeriel while saying that he was deliberately trying to piss him off. "Oh and she said she was gonna break your neck, can you imagine that audacity?" Zeriel's eyes fluttered open and he was beyond, shocked at what he heard, he smiled mischievously and closed his eyes back, "what audacity indeed, now shut up and drive".
