"Naomi POV"

Grrhrrh I was disrupted from my sleep by the loud sound of my old alarm blazing through my ears.

It kept ringing until I finally turn it off"

Today is another day of hustling and struggling for me.

I wonder when I will ever live the life of a gold.

I stood up from my old quack bed and sluggishly went to the bathroom to do my business.

After what it seems like hours of bathing I finally came out.

I went to the dressing room to dress up. I went down stairs to prepare breakfast.

Before I start the infertile search for job.

I have been searching for job for the past two weeks.

After been sacked by boss for beating the hell out of him for trying to rape me.

Since then I haven't gotten a job.

I picked up my purse to check it but I was heart broken with the amount I saw.

"I have just 500$ with me!

If I go with taxi I would not be able to eat so I concluded that am going to trek.

I was thinking about my life when a clean car splash dirty water on me.

I was shouting but the rude driver refuse to stop ,

I immediately picked up a stone and throw it at the windscreen and the car immediately halt.

Then came out the driver who was shouting at me.

I was kind of afraid but as a brave lady I am I immediately replace the face with an angry face.

"Madam how you okay?!"

"Why will you throw a stone on the car windscreen" the driver shouted at me.

I wanted to run away but I remembered I was a brave lady.

Just as I was about to pick up another stone.

The car opened and the most cutest and handsome guy I have ever come across came out of the car looking all white.

My mouth was opened wide and I was drooling over him.

"When you are through checking me out you can get your silly ass out of my road" he said arrogantly.

My cheek flushed red with embarrassment but I replace it with an angry face.

"You actually look ugly and disgusting!"

Immediately the cute guy burst into laughter.

"If we are talking about who look ugly here."

"you are the one who look ugly and disgusting and he spat on my face. "

Immediately I punch his face and pick up the stone and destroy the other side of the windscreen and ran away.

And i realize his driver was running after me to get me but couldn't get me.

After what it seems like eternity of running,

I finally stop and was panting heavily then I clapped for my self for being a brave girl.

I knew for sure that I couldn't continue seeking for the job,

because my hair and clothes is a mess right now "all because of that rude handsome guy."

Did I just call him handsome I asked myself.

I immediately face palm my self for calling him Handsome.

"Adrian POV"

I was woken up by a banging headache, after been drunk yesterday, I didn't remember what happen next.

I wanted to sleep more, when I quickly remember I was having a meeting with my staffs.

I quickly check the time and I jump out of the bed when I found out am already 10 minute late.

Why couldn't this alarm wake me up, I then I remembered I turn it off yesterday.

I quickly rush to the bathroom to do my business.

After some minutes I rushed out to wear my clothes.

I rushed downstairs, and saw my breakfast has been prepared by my maid.

"Sir, your breakfast is ready"

she said.

"Don't worry about me today I wouldn't be having my breakfast today because am very late," I replied her.

"Okay sir!" She replied.

I ran outside and my driver is already in the car waiting for me.

Just as I was about to enter the car I remembered that I didn't came with my suit case.

I ran back inside to pick it up, then I bring out my phone from the suit case to check the time, and I found out am already 20 minutes late.

Good morning boss ; my driver greeted me.

Good morning blossom I replied my driver.

He immediately ignited the engine and speed off.

He was driving when we accidentally splash some dirty water on a lady.

Blossom wanted to stop but I shouted at him that am late.

He immediately understand and continue driving.

Few seconds later we heard a land bang on my Wind screen.

My driver immediately halted the car and found it was the same lady who my driver splash dirty water on.

I was damn angry, and am so late for the meeting,

But this crazy hell of a lady just ruined my meeting.

I wanted to go and meet her but my driver pleaded with me not to go.

He immediately came down and went straight to the lady and they kept exchanging words.

I waited for more than 5 minute but my driver was still shouting at her and the stubborn lady refuse to go.

She was also shouting at my driver, and I was tired of waiting so I came down from the car looking angry.

Immediately I came down I wanted to shout at her.

But I stopped at my track when I saw the most beautiful lady I have ever come across.

Are curves is nothing to talk about, her curves can make a man go down on his knees, her lashes, her soft pink plump lips and her straight legs.

I was drooling over her instead of shouting at her.

Immediately my driver clears his throat, and I come back to my self.

I also found out she was drooling over me then I smirked.

"When you are done drooling over me you can get your silly ass off the road. "

I told her.

Her cheek immediately flushed in embarrassment,

But she immediately replace it with an angry face.

"You actually look ugly and disgusting!"

She replied me.

Then I burst into laughter, I don't but I seem like I was enjoying the conversation.

"Adrian pov"

"You are actually the one who look ugly and disgusting here," I replied her and spat on her face.

Immediately she gave me an hard punch on my face, and she pick up a stone and break the other side of my wind screen and ran away.

My driver ran after her but couldn't get her., how could a lady with that kind of ass run faster.

I immediately called my PA and told her to postpone the meeting till tomorrow that I wouldn't be able to make it.

I promise my self to get her and make her pay for the mess she cause.

And I told my driver to take me home.

"Naomi POV"

I boarded a taxi because I couldn't walk with this kind of clothes and hair that looks like a mess.

"Where to?"

The taxi driver asked me.

"Crescent lane,". i told him.

I sat down and immediately went to the dream world.

I was woken up by the driver who told me we have gotten to my destination.

I hopped from car and bring out my old purse to pay him his money.

Only to realize that my purse was left opened, I was confused how my purse got open.

And I quickly check if my money is still intact, but to get the most shocking thing of my life.

My money is no longer in my purse, immediately I burst into tears.

I immediately cursed those unfortunate driver and boss who made me lost my money.

"How can I pay the driver?"

I asked myself.

The driver was already impatient and was already shouting at me.

When a good Samaritan from no where paid the driver and walk away.

He didn't wait for me to thank him before he walked.

"Hey!" Excuse me I called after him, but he his no more there.

Then I remembered I haven't deal with the driver yet for shouting at me.

I rushed to where he is, punched him on the face and ran away.

"If you want crazy I am crazy"

I walked home looking still angry with the driver and those stupid assholes.

I opened the door.

And went inside immediately to take my bath.

I came out from the bathroom dripping wet.

And my stomach grumbled, I forgot I haven't eaten since morning.

I rushed to the kitchen to prepare something for myself.

And saw that my food stuffs are almost finished.

And there is no single penny with me.

I quickly prepared pancake and coffee for my self.

Because I wouldn't be sleeping today.

I would have to search for job until I found one.

"Adrian POV"

My driver stopped the car and I came out from the car.

I quickly rushed upstairs to freshened up .

I came out of the bathroom and quickly wear a short and a faded top.

"Rose!" I called my house help.

But there was no reply.

I went to the kitchen and every corners to look for her.

But I couldn't find her.

Just when I was about to go upstairs,

I saw a written note.

I was surprised because wasn't expecting and latter.

I opened it and found out the latter was from rose.

"Hey Sir! "

"I am writing this latter with tears in my eyes;"

"Because I was told by the doctor today"

"That my mom is very sick, "

"She is suffering for kidney failure and she have just 1week to live. "

"And, I will need to stay with her before death finally take her from me. "

"I would have love to tell you;

"But you have done more than enough for me"

"Sir' "am sorry! " For not letting you know before leaving,

"But it came quickly, and I actually tried reaching you."

But it was not available.

Why didn't she tell me or better send me a text message?

I questioned my self.

I didn't ask myself further, because everything happens for a reason.

How will I prepare myself a food?

And I am damn hungry.

I went to the kitchen. But, I didn't understand anything in the kitchen.

I came out looking frustrated.

I guess I would have to order for pizza.

After ordering, I immediately made a vacancy for a house help job.

less than 30 minutes, thousand of people have applied. For the job of a common house help.

I dropped my phone, I will have to deal with that tomorrow.

"Ping pong"

I heard a ring on my bell.

I immediately rushed downstairs to collect what I ordered for.

Because am sure it must be the delivery guy.

I opened the door, and my guess was true.

It was the delivery guy.

"Sir this is your package you ordered for. "

The delivery guy said.

I quickly took the package and paid him.

I locked the door and immediately drop the pizza, and rushed to the freezer to get something chilled.

I opened the pizza and got the most inviting scent ever.

'Hmmmmm', this smells great.

I didn't take time in munching the pizza.

"Hmmmm" I moaned within.

This pizza is so sweet.

I remember the unknown lady I met today.

"She is so gorgeous!" , and her curves made her more gorgeous.

Her smile is nothing to talk about.

"Do you love her?"

My subconscious mocked me

"Not at all, I don't love her.

I was just complimenting her beauty. "Nothing else"

I quickly stop thinking about her. because all women are the same.

There are all heart breakers.

After what my EX did to me I promise myself never to fall in love.

All women are heart breakers!

I just lost my appetite.

"I went to the kitchen to trash the remaining pizza."

Then I quickly remember I no longer have a house help.

"I would have to keep this pizza for tomorrow"

Chapter 3

Naomi POV

I took the pancake to my room, because I don't feel like eating in the sitting room.

I immediately pick up my phone to check if there is any job I can apply for.

I continue eating while looking for any job vacancy.

I spent hours but couldn't find any job vacancy.

Just as I was about to drop my phone., something caught my attention.

I quickly scroll down to check what that is, and found out is a vacancy as an house help.

And the pay is quite mouth watering.

I quickly applied for it.

Immediately I received a mail of where the interview will be taken place.

And found out the location isn't too far from my apartment.

I was so happy!

At last I would be able to take care of my self.

I slept off with a smiling face.

DAWN

"Naomi POV"

I woke up before my alarm because of the happiness of finally able to attend to a interview.

I actually thought I was cursed because of the two weeks of infertile searching for job.

I was about entering the bathroom before I remembered I haven't pick a outfit I will be wearing.

I will be going for a simple outfit.

I think i will go for this straight red gown and a touch of white.

I rushed to the bathroom and did my business.

I didn't spent up to 5 minutes before I came out.

I quickly cream my body, put on my outfit, and a little touch of makeup to my face.

I think I will go for my white shoes and my white purse.

After dressing up, I look at the mirror to admire my self.

"Naomi you actually look gorgeous."

I said to my self.

I pick up my phone to check the time.

And found out I have 1 hour left.

I hasten my foot step to the kitchen to prepare something for my self.

I made my self some pasta.

After eating I came out from my apartment and lock the door.

I remember I lost my last cash yesterday so I would have to walk.

I checked the time and found out I have 20 minutes remaining.

And I knew I wouldn't be able to get to the place before 20 minutes.

I was at the range of tears when I saw a lady struggling with her luggage.

I quickly rushed to assist her.

forgetting I would be attending an interview in the next 15 minutes.

"Mam are this all your luggage?" I asked her.

Yes, "Thank you much!"

The lady replied.

Just as I was about to go she immediately called me.

"Young lady!" She called me.

"Are you going my way?" She asked.

I was so happy;

"Yes Mam" I answered.

"Then hop in" she told me.

I didn't hesitate in hopping in.

"Thank you so much ma."

I appreciated her.

"No worries my love. " she replied.

"Where are you going to?" She asked.

And I told the location.

And luck been on my side she was actually going my way.

I was so happy!

I checked my time and found out I have just 7 minutes remaining.

I was beginning to panic that will be loosing the interview.

We finally arrived and I jumped out of the car, thank her and speed into the compound.

I went inside and the first thing that caught my attention was that sight of the magnificent building.

The building looks outrageous.

My mouth was open wide admiring the building and forget I actually came for interview.

The scoff and insult from some lady brought me back to reality.

I immediately compose myself but it was already too late.

They start pouring me with insults and hate speeches.

"She looks poor"

"I think she haven't been to this kind of place"

"She smells like a pig pops"

"Yuke she looks disgusting, I want to puke"

I wanted to run away but I remembered I am the only fearless Naomi.

"At least I look far more better than you all who dresses like a sl. ut"

I replied them. Immediately they all went shut.

"Miss Naomi!"

I heared my name and I went to the lady who called me then she told me I am next.

I followed her and we get to a large sitting room.

"Take your sit, my boss will be here in a few minutes. " she told me.

"thank you! I told her.

And she left.

Adrian POV

I have on these stuffs for over an hour, with my PA interviewing those ladies that came for interview.

But non of them are up to my taste.

Most of them don't actually came for interview there actually came to seduce me.

After what it seem like eternity I was done with the first badge.

And was about to move to the next badge.

Just as I was about to send for the next lady.

My phone rang immediately and when I checked who was calling.

To my greatest surprise it was mom

I already knows the reason she is calling.

"Good morning mom!"

I greeted my mom.

Already tired of the conversation that haven't even started.

"Good morning Adrian!

"How are you doing?"

She asked me.

"Am fine, and you mom?"

I asked her.

"Am fine also." She replied.

"So son are you at home?"

"Ahhhhhhh yes mom," I replied.

That isn't the reason I called you,

"The main reason I call you is to ask you when you will be getting married."

"You aren't getting any younger and you are our only son."

"Most of all the heir to LOUIS ENTERPRISE."

"You need to get married as soon as possible or you leave me with no choice than getting you a wife."

She finally throw the bomb shell.

"Wtf mom, are you joking?"

I asked mom

"No son am not joking"

"You either get married or lose the company." Mom said

I can't just lose a company I have work for just because of getting married.

"You just have to give me some time so i can search for a wife. "

I can't just get married to some random ladies .

"You have two weeks to look for a wife or your dad and I wouldn't have any option than to get you married ."

mom said.
