The chosen

Edward struggled his way into the house bleeding from his left leg which was pretty wounded by a guy who he imagine could be of no harm to him. It was around 11 at night and the streets were so quiet and only the moaning of the wolfs could be heard coming from the dark mountains. Edward lived in one of the most quiet and deserted streets and had no problem walking home at that particular time of the night. He reached for his keys in his leather jacket and realized he might have dropped them while leaping awayfl from the fight at the club.

"Damn keys!" He curses while sitting down next to his door his back towards the the wooden door. All these years he lived knowing that no one was able to face him or wound him for he was the strongest warewolf of his kind. He sat down groaning in pain thinking of how he would break into his own house.

"Told you to be careful out there son" said Acwulf, Edwards closest neighbor who was not yet asleep and sitting on his door smoking a cigarette. Acwulf was one of the oldest men who was believed to be the wisest in the area and was from Edwards origin. He was believed to be one of the strongest warewolf of the times since he bared a lot of knowledge about the origin of different kinds of humans living in the area.

Acwulf rises from his seat and pushes Edwards door in with his left hand holding his cigarette with the right hand. He carries Edward in and drops him carefully on his front seat in the living room as he goes to make him some medicine. Edward lies on the couch helplessly as Acwulf boils some herb in the fireplace.

"Tell me what really happened son" he asked as he approaches Edward to dress and treat his wound.

Edward starts narrating everything as how it all started when he decided to go to a party that evening. He had entered a club where the party was being held and every had every kind of people drinking and partying. He went and sat at one of the tables and got served with a drink. A young and beautiful woman approached his table. The woman named Bella was gorgeous but looked dangerous at the same time. She looked unpredictable since she looked depressed and afraid of something according to how Edward looked at her. They had a long conversation but something didn't seem okay because the lady was uneasy and did not feel comfortable. Suddenly a guy pulled up at their table and whispered something to her ear and went back.

The woman beacame so uneasy and more restless and decided to stand and leave but before she could leave two othe guys approached and grabbed her by her arms and pulled her to the back of the club. Edward deciding to mind his business goes on drinking but the look from the lady's eyes made him stop and think twice. After about a minute he leaves his table and goes to the back of the club to find out what was going on. He meets two guards who try to stop him and realises from the look of their eyes that they were not humans and they were upto something that wasn't right.

Edward new that there was no chance of him to take down two vampires who looked stronger than him. He turns back and decides to go back to his table but suddenly hears an unusual scream from a female.

Edward decided to go back and confront the guards. He went and faced them with no fear. They suddenly pulled a fight but unfortunately they were too strong for him they left him wounded and entered the backroom Edward tried following them but realised they were abducting the lady for some reasons that were not known to him. one of the men who had approached him earlier came out of the room to deal away with him.

After a series of struggling and fighting Edward is left wounded ask the guys carry away the lady and disappear in the dark Edward struggles his way out of the club and limbs home by himself.

" you're an unusual species but they seem to be more powerful than you" said ACwolf as he clears treating Edwards wound. Replaces everything and this to leave. He lives Edward lying on the coach and hopes that everything will be ok by the time he is back. Acwulf was a shapeshifter and transformed himself into a wolf as he left the house. He usually do this every time you went out at night to Hunt and came back in the morning.

Edward wakes up in the morning feeling well and the wound has been healed since this was one of the he had. He decides to get something to eat because he felt very hungry. He sat down and could not believe that there was some creature that he was and decided that this was the moment he was to take his belongings and leave the town. Edward had been staying alone for some long time since he was a kid and he believes that his parents were out there and stuck somewhere and had to know the reasons that made them leave him.He decides to pack all his things and his house but before he could leave Acwulf was standing at his door.

" son be careful out there you never know what you might run into, in whatever you do, never make any decision out of anger, take this dagger

have it by Your Side everywhere you go and know that I will always be on the watch". He took out a dagger from his bag and handed it off over to Edward. Edward took it and placed it in a safe place and promised to always never make any wrong decisions for this was the beginning to find his roots and know his purpose in life.

Edward a 20 year old teen out again on his own not knowing what he is about to experience in the cruel world. All these years Edward has lived his life walking and running from something that he does not know. During this time world is filled with a lot of kinds of human and metahumans of all kinds.

Edward believes that he comes from one tribe of the Wolves from the moon kind and one of the strongest of that time. He has lived his life trying to figure out his roots but this time he is so determined to get anything that will help him go home.He waits till night time while roaming around so that he could make his escape . As he walks out the city which is heavily guarded by security guards in Every Corner, it is very windy I'm very scary. He walks down a corridor all alone with a backpack on his back. Suddenly he hears a voice from the back and on looking he realises that he was being traced and followed. He decided to make a move and tried walking as fast as he could. He turned into a corner and hid while peeking.

Behind the streetlights, he saw an animal walking on fours. This was the moment that he was so scared to death. He hold his breath and waiting to attack since it seems that the creature new about him and knew that he was trying to escape.

As Edward tries to figure out what should be his next move the animal keeps on approaching his direction. He takes out the Dagger that he was given uniform and hold it tightly in his arms ready to attack. He realises that it was a panther which was so unusual to be found at this area. Its skin is so dark and sleek and had very bright eyes. From the look of the eyes he realises that it might be someone whom they have met before but could not figure who it was because of the form that he or she was in.

Before he could make an attack, the Panther stops sniffing on the ground and backs up. Edward finally releases his breath and slowly comes out of his hiding spot as the Panther disappears into the dark.

The city is heavily guarded and surrounded by a perimeter wall. Edward manages to climb over by using his reflexes since he was a well build young man and very strong. He jumps out of the world and finally feels free. He was now in the midst of a big community including vampires witches and many more some of his own kind somewhere out there. He had Clear Vision of the Mountains as the moon produced a clear View that night.

Behind,he had left his one and only trusted true friend who was always by his side all this time. He believed that they will soon meet since they came from one tribe, the moon tribe and were of one origin. Edward was one of the special kind of a werewolf and hard special abilities that he had not get realised by himself. During this journey he was going to face a lot of challenges and difficulties that will make him discover who he really was.

Edward travelled for a long time heading south where he believed that most probably that he was from the tribe of the moon origin. He approaches a cave where he spends his night peacefully. He is woken up bye a sight smoke coming from the city where he had left. This shocks him and decides to run back to see what had happened the previous night. From his Clear Vision he could tell that the city might have been burnt down. All that worried him all along as he was running back was Acwulf.

He headed for the gate but before he could reach Bella came out of nowhere and stopped him.

" please please do not go back, just save yourself the city has been put down and everything burnt down by the Inferno yesternight by a group of unknown people who are in search of a young man about your age"Bella shouted to him while standing on his way.

She looked messed up and it seems he had been beaten up and tortured from last night's event.

" why should I believe you?" he asked.

" I have been at the hands of those Monsters and I know what they are after,come with me if you want to live" Bella said while running into the woods. Edward took a second before following her and wondered what could have happened to Acwulf. He followed Bella who seemed trustable because of what she had told him. They travel miles away from the city and a market where they decide to stay. They had to keep their identities a secret since they were new to the place and did not want anyone to notice them.They walk around In the market and look around items being sold. They decide to buy new clothes from the money Bella had with her.

A traditional healer stands at the middle of the market chanting and enlightening the people he warns the people about forthcoming disaster that he had predicted and says that dark days are coming and people needed to be aware of them.

These words make crowd gather next to him as he sales his items. Bella and Edward are also caught by the healer's words and move Closer him. They wait until he is done with his speech and approach him.

Before they could take a step to him, suddenly noticed them and you could tell that he had sensed something from them. " who sents you bloodsucker to this peaceful land?" he asked politely. Bella realised that the healer in some way had realised that she was a vampire. Edward was shocked but did not want to show it. The healer started packing up his items and instructed the two to follow him. He introduced himself as Hardulf and said that he was a witch but he on the run too.

Hardulf is a man of a lot of abilities, he is of around 50 years of a normal human being but they cannot predict his real age because he was a witch and his kind do not age easily.Hardulf begins narrating what this was all about since he knew that they were scared and running from something. He says that new a lot of things that had happened before. He was on the run because he was banished by his own people after he warned them about being defeated by the vampires. Hardulf was able to read minds and had this special ability of predicting the future.

He was aware of a dark and strong power coming to take over everything but he could not figure out what it was. He told them that their was an unusual kind of energy flowing around from a different unknown species and was out to take over each and every single of them.

Bella on the other side was trying to get back home after coming to see this guy Ahmar that he fell in love with but did not know his origin. The night before,this did not go according to her expectations since she realized that he was with a weird group and upon discovering that they had been realized they decided to take Bella with them and that's why they ended up in the club the day before and tried to torture her. Bella who was a strong vampire managed to escape this one lucky time but was sure they were a different type of monster all together and they were upto something very horrible and that's why she decided to warn Edward about them.

Ahmar and his team burn down the whole city on discovering that what they were looking for had missed them by just few hours a go. They were very fierce and were dying for power and they seemed to possess a dark power within them. Edward and Bella were one of the lucky ones to get this information thus putting their lives in danger.

Hardulfs shop was located in the middle of the market and it was not a safe place for them to be found since they were to be on the move at this moment.

"Take this with you, whenever you feel anything unusual or a dark magic amidst you,just spray it to the air and it will drive thw force away from you" Hardulf gave them some medicine stored in a small jar for their protection.

The room was all dark and all the curtains covered, Bella was standing next to the window trying to peep but he notices something unusual,two men both covered with hoodies werw strolling round the market and this seemed like they were in search of something.

"They are here!" Bella whispered to Edward. Edward tries to look through the window and sees the two men but one of them suddenly looks in his direction and fixes his eyes starring at the window where Edward and bella weree hiding behind. Acwulf told immediately sensed a strong power of darkness in the air and escorted them to a secret basement where he ahid them and locked the entrance while he remains up.

He goes up and they can hear a conversation between him and the other men. After around 5 minutes there is a total silence in the room, everything goes into deep silence and this scares Bella and Edward who are still in the basement. They try to open up but it's locked and could not be opened from the inside. Suddenly they hear footsteps walking around above them and this seems to be the two men. Bella becomes so aggressive and her skin begins turning into pale white. Her hair stand still on her head and she groans. Edward tries to calm her down, but she keeps on freaking out.

She was one hell of a fierce vampire who was very aggressive but after some minutes she calm down because they did not know how strong the men were and they were to be well prepared to face them.

Edward looks around the room for anything that will be of use. He goes through some library of old books written by Harcwulf. He is able to find a book on the Origin of all kinds of metahumans including a mini map that might lead him home. He quickly goes through it and luckily for him he sees where his home might be located and quickly takes the map and fold it in his pocket. On the other side Bella retrieves a key the seems to be a secret since it was well folded and stored in an old wooden box. She takes it and hands it to Edward.

They spot an axe laying on the ground and use it to break the basement opening. They both get out slowly while trying to check out if the room was safe enough. At the door they see Hardulf lying. They run towards him and luckily they find him alive. They neel down next to his body and he seems to have been pierced by a poisonous needle that drains his energy with time leaving him to death. Edward runs for some water and tries to make him drink it while Bella holds him by her hands.

"It's of no use Edward!" Hardulf struggled to talk while coughing out uncontrollably. "They have used up a witch poison on me which is only cured by some special kind of antidote found far away in our land" he added. "They are after you son" he said to Edward "you are the last surviving son of the strongest king of the moon who was their leader and they want you for some reason am not aware of" said Hardulf as he ran out of breath. "Find Acwulf and he will lead you to your parents who are not far away from here" he said and immediately passed away. This left the both of them with unanswered questions but they knew they had no time to waste but to get out of there immediately.
