The blue eyed demon

Beep, beep!!! The sound of the alarm clock could be heard everywhere in the house. "Ivy, you had better wake up, or you will be late for school" A beautiful young woman wearing a blue silk gown climbs the stairs and reaches a door. Knock, knock!! Wake up sleepyhead, you're going to be late for school" she shouted.

I opened my eyes, still feeling sleepy "Mom I'm not going to be late for school" I said as I staggered out of the bed, to the bathroom where I took my bath and prepared for school. I came downstairs as the sweet smell of early morning freshly ground coffee, mixed with tomato sauce, filled the air.

"Hmmm!!! Good morning Mom, I love the smell of the tomato sauce Mom" I said, going to the dining table. "You should try and get up much earlier, so you won't get to school late," Mom said. "Don't worry Mom I won't be late, and Mom I won't be coming back home early as I will be going to the library with Lisa after school. you know, as a 12th grader our college entrance examination is upcoming"? I said as I watched Mom.

"I hope you don't have plans on attending the party I heard you and Lisa talking about last night," Mom said. "Of course not Mom, we need to prepare well for our exam," I said. "No problem, just eat your breakfast quickly, your dad is almost ready," she replied.

Footsteps approach towards the dining table, and a handsome tall man in his early forties wearing a gray Louis Vuitton blazer and black shoes comes to the dining table.``Good morning Dad, you look great in that suit" I said with my mouthful. "Ivy, how many times have I warned you not to speak with your mouthful? ''Mom asked. "Honey, please let her be, good morning sweetie" Dad answered. "Of course, you will always support her because she is exactly like you, ''Mom said with a frown on her face. "Mom, I'm pretty because I look like Dad, " I said as I and dad posed with a "V" sign.

I bear a striking resemblance with my dad which is so obvious. We both have the same blonde hair, milky white skin color, naturally red lips and pointed noses, almond shaped eyes.

While in contrast, my mom has long black hair, big eyes, and pink lips. The difference between me and my dad is that my hair is long and I'm much younger than him. "Don't worry honey, she took your nagging attitude. Dad said, "You guys buy one, get one free," Mom said as we all started laughing.

Deaban (my dad) and I get into his black Mercedes-Benz as he drives off to my school."Dad, I will be attending Zoey's birthday party after school today" I said to my dad as we entered the car. "But you told your mom that you will be going to the library," Dad said with a questioning look, "Dad you know mom won't allow me to attend, so please convince her for me", I said, trying to get as cute as possible. "Anything for my Princess, but promise me that you will stay away from trouble," Dad said, "I promise", I said smiling. "Good luck today in school, sweetie, Dad said as he kissed my forehead. "Bye, Dad," I said as I descended from the car and waved.

"Ivy runs quickly, the Maths teacher will soon get to the class" Lisa, my best friend shouted. Lisa is a slim, brown-skinned girl with long black hair and big, cute eyes. I started running and caught up with Lisa, "I hope you are going to Zoey's party tonight" she asked as we stopped running, "of course, I wouldn't miss it for anything" I said. "Did you hear the news that Zoey and Jira broke up? She asked. "What!!!" I exclaimed with my mouth wide open, I thought they were the perfect match made from heaven, I said. "So, the school couple is no longer together", she said as we laughed and entered the classroom.

"Attention class, Zoey, our handsome class president said, as Mr. Jones, our Math and homeroom teacher entered the classroom. "I need all the last class assignments now and if you didn't do yours, come to the front of the class", he said with a stern tone.

Lisa came out, "Of course, you wouldn't do yours, you will have to sweep the classroom after school hours today Lisa, Class your last mock results are already on the notice board, so do well to check yours", he said as he rounded up.

Ding, ding, dong!!! The school bell rang, signifying lunchtime, we rushed out of the class to check the notice board. "Wow as always, class pres is at the top", Philip, a boy in my class said, Zoey smiled as he and Philip walked away."Ivy!!you are in the second position that's my bestie" Lisa shouted, "what about Jira, a girl asked.

"She was never good at math, it has been Zoey, her Ex that had usually exchanged his paper for hers" another girl answered. Pang!! Everyone turned in the direction of the sound, as Jira, a tall, slim, fierce-looking girl, slaps Eva a short, chubby girl. "Are u blind? Why did you step on me" she thundered. "I didn't see you there", Eva answered timidly. Jira pushes and stepped on Eva, "oops I didn't see you, she said mockingly as she and her friends laugh and moved toward the school cafeteria.

I stretched my hands towards Eva and helped her "Don't mind her, she must have probably traded her sense for beauty" I said. "Thank you", Eva said as she stood up. "She is looking for whom to pour her frustration on, it's not like we are the ones that caused her breakup", Lisa added.

"You guys should assist me in sweeping the classes," Lisa said with puppy eyes, "no problem," Eva answered. "Why didn't you do your assignment? I asked, turning towards Lisa.

"I tried doing it last night, but it was beyond my capacity, I then decided to watch an online tutorial but ended up watching a movie," Lisa said. I looked at her disappointed, "you should have called me", I said calmly. "I didn't want to stress you, Eva are you coming to the party?" Lisa asked. "I'm not going", she answered.

"Why? You should loosen up sweetie, this is our final year in high school let's have some fun okay" I answered. "Eva, you should come with us and don't worry about your dress, I have a perfect dress for you," Lisa said.

The school bell rang and students rushed out in Multitude like they had been trapped and had just regained freedom. "Hey Lisa, wait up", I said as I ran to her. "Where is Eva?" she asked looking around, "she is far behind, she walks too slow, and where are you hurrying to? I asked. "What do you think? she said, giving me a curious face, "we have so much to prepare for the party" she answered.

"Eva over here," I said, waving to her. She came towards us, and we all went together to Lisa's house. "Are your parents not back from their trip? I asked. "Nope, and they won't be coming back until month's end" she answered.

Lisa is the only child of her parents, just like me, but her parents are always on different business trips and so are not always around. We arrived at Lisa's house, a big duplex painted with gray and white colors."Wow," Eva said, "home sweet home, welcome to my humble abode," she said, laughing and bowing to us. I am always amazed anytime I come to Lisa's house because of the huge sitting room, perfect decor, and big golden chandelier.

"Let's go to my room, and I have the perfect dress for you Eva," she said as we climbed the stairs to her room. Lisa's room is large, painted pink and white, with our childhood pictures pasted on the wall just like mine. Lisa and I have been friends since we were kids, we attended the same elementary school and even kindergarten. "Let's rock and roll", I said as I connected my phone to the Bluetooth speaker and started playing loud music. "Let's get ready", I said as I brought out my clothes from my bag.

"Eva, I will do your makeup for you, I am good at it," I said, arranging the makeup items on the table.

Lisa brought a beautiful navel blue, sleeveless, mini gown for Eva and a black cropped top, mini skirt, and heels for herself. "You guys will look astonishing in those clothes, no one will probably recognize you guys", I said as I finished Eva's makeup. I tied my hair into a ponytail and wore a pair of black tight-fitted trousers and an ash-colored sleeveless cropped top.

We looked at ourselves in the mirror and started laughing because we didn't look like high schoolers, instead, we looked like college students.

We took a taxi and arrived at Zoey's house, where the party was taking place. As we entered, loud music and the smell of cigarettes, beer, champagne, whiskey, and other alcoholic drinks filled the air. "Zoey must be keeping the company of college bad guys. If not, how was he able to buy these drinks", I asked.

"Let's just enjoy the evening", Lisa answered, already dancing." hey!! Our class's second scholar is here, Philip said. We walked towards Philip who was sitting close to Zoey, the birthday boy, "happy birthday class pres," I said as I hugged him. "Thank you, I thought you guys won't be able to make it" he answered as he handed us cold glasses of beer. "We wouldn't miss it for anything", Lisa answered as she winked and smiled.

Eva gulped down her glass of beer in one shot. "Easy girl", I said, looking at her, "that's it, girl, loosen up," Lisa said, giving her an encouraging look. We soon started talking and dancing to the music being played, Eva looked dizzy, "it seems she is already drunk", I said to Lisa. "Eva let's go and Wash your face in the bathroom" Lisa offered to Eva.

She took Eva to the bathroom while I continued sipping my drink. Zoey leaned very close to me and removed something from my face and then whispered "You got something on your face" he said, looking me straight in the eyes. "Thank you", I answered, smiling. "Wow!!!! You two look great together" Lisa said as she and Eva returned from the bathroom. "Eva, are you feeling better now?", I asked. "She totally can't hold her drink", Lisa answered. "I think I need to go out and get some fresh, air," Eva said as she went out.

Eva's POV

I couldn't see, breathe, or walk properly. I staggered out of the house but then bumped into someone. "Ahhh!!! Look at where you are going" the person shouted angrily. "I'm so sorry", I said, trying to see the person clearly, it's Jira I said to myself.

"Look who is here" Evenly, Jira's minion and friend said. "Wow!!! Clothes make a man" Jira said, chuckling evilly as she put her hands on my shoulders and pulled me back inside the house but to a different part." Hey everyone, I bought a dancer for us" she said to some guys. "Not bad, she looks sexy," one of the guys said, looking at me with an evil smirk on his face. He handed me a glass of beer which I refused, but Jira kicked me with her heels and whispered something in my ears which made me collect the drink. "That's it," another guy said." dance, dance, dance" They started cheering, and I began to dance.

Ivy's POV

"Where is Eva? I asked, looking around. "She must have probably gotten outside", Lisa answered, "okay I will go and find her," I said as I stepped out.

I got outside but couldn't find her, so I went inside to check again, then I saw someone dancing and crying in front of Jira, Evelyn, and some guys, "she must have seen someone to bully" I thought. I looked closely to see the person and found it was Eva. "Eva stops dancing," I said as I moved closer to her and grabbed her hands. Jira held her other hand to prevent her from leaving, "let her go" I said. "I won't," Jira said, pulling her towards herself." if you want her to leave, then you will dance for us," someone said.

"I don't intend on dancing and neither will she," I said. I was about to leave when Jira pulled my hair, I turned and slapped her. "Ohhh. She is a feisty one" another guy said as they watched us. Jira pulled my hair and pushed me down, we soon began fighting, pushing tables, and throwing glasses.

I picked up a broken glass and swung it in front of Jira, it gave her a cut on her face. Jira overpowered me, pushed me down, and began slapping and punching me, I couldn't get myself freed as Evelyn held me down. Eva started hitting and shouting, trying to call Lisa and others for help, but the loud music drowned her voice.

Blood dripped from Jira's cut and dropped into my mouth, strangely it tasted so sweet that I wanted more, super strength came on me and I pushed Jira, climbed on her, and bite strongly into her hands for more blood. She screamed in terrible pain, and the guys who were watching us fight pushed me off her. I started feeling weak as though something was sapping away my strength, my legs were shaking, and I could hear my name being called by Lisa, Eva, and Zoey faintly as I closed my eyes.

Lisa POV

"People are fighting," someone said, we ran to the scene where we found Jira and Ivy in a serious fight. Ivy was biting Jira's hand, "stop them" I shouted I moved closer to them, as I and some guys pulled Ivy from Jira. Blood was on Ivy's mouth as she had bitten deep into Jira's hand. I rushed to her as she fell unconscious. Eva rushed to where I was with Ivy and started crying "Call the ambulance quickly" I shouted to Zoey, who stood there looking helplessly at Jira and Ivy.

I was rushed to Diamond Hospital where my dad worked as a doctor. Deaban and my mom were informed, and they rushed down to the hospital.

Ivy POV

I opened my eyes, to find myself in front of an ancient castle surrounded by dark clouds in the middle of nowhere. The castle was very tall, with windows high up, it felt so creepy as my hands were filled with goose pimples, I looked around trying to find an exit place, but I couldn't even figure out how I got there, "I should look around" I thought to myself as I walked towards the entrance. I saw a big wooden gate. "Finally, where is this place?" I couldn't stop thinking about it.

As I got closer to the gate I saw two weird-looking horses standing by it. What kind of a horse is that? I walked closer but froze in fear, it wasn't a normal horse but a creature with a half-human body and half-horse guiding the entrance. I was unable to scream, so they wouldn't hear me, I ran back to hide behind a massive wall, and as I ran I stumbled on a stone and fell hard, I screamed in pain but quickly closed my mouth with my hands, hot tears flowed down my cheeks I stood up In fear thinking the creatures were already near me, but then I noticed that they couldn't see me. I stood up, but strangely, I could walk perfectly. I looked down to check the injury, but it wasn't there.

"How can the big injury I saw just now disappear?" I asked myself. "I must be in a magical castle, but magic doesn't exist in real life", I thought aloud. "I should find out more about this place", I said as I sneaked past the creatures into the castle, I opened the door and saw a massive passage with different rooms and huge, high stairs. It was dark, but I didn't have any trouble seeing it.

The first room I saw was filled with different creepy statues of dragons arranged in a circle with the largest at the center. It had long horns, pointed teeth, long sharp claws, massive wings, and big scary eyes. I immediately left the room, and as I had my heart in my mouth, I was so afraid that I didn't bother to see what was in the remaining rooms, I climbed the stairs filled with foul smells and had numerous cobwebs. I looked through the cracks in the wall and saw three muscular-looking men, but instead of human heads, they had the heads of a lion.

I ran upstairs and got to another large room which seemed like the throne room. A tall lady with very black long hair, long nails, and eyes like that of a wolf, who was wearing a long black laced gown came into the room followed by another fat woman. She was short unlike the First Lady, she also had long hair, nails, and long pointed ears that extended above her head, she appeared to be the first lady's maidservant because of the way she addressed her.

"That must be the magician," I said quietly to myself. I was far from where they were, but could hear what they said clearly." Mi lady it's time for your supper" she said. "Bring it in," the first lady, who I think is the queen, answered. A creature that had huge eyes, a long pointed nose, and a long tongue that came out of its mouth brought a young human boy about the age of 10 into the room. The queen came close to the boy, and sniffed In the air around the boy "This one is fresh" she said, "of course your Highness, he was recently captured" the servant answered. The queen placed her hands on the boy's shoulder and pierced her nails down causing blood to gush out, the young boy screamed, and she transformed into a lady-like creature which instead of hair she had venomous terrifying snakes on her head and instead of legs she had long tail like that of a big black cobra, she then opened her mouth as though she wanted to inhale air, but then she was sapping away the soul of the boy, the boy held his neck as he gasped for air.

She dropped the dead body of the boy, who had turned black and hard like stone. When she finished and transformed back into her former self. I could hear the sound of my heartbeat, as fear gripped me and I couldn't move, she turned in my direction and looked me straight in the eyes, I screamed and immediately opened my eyes, and saw myself in the hospital with my Mom and Dad beside me, tears flowed down my eyes as I screamed in pain and panted furiously.

My body felt like I was in a volcano, and the molten lava pierced and burnt my skin, I couldn't alter any words but only screamed in pain. Mom held me and patted my head, "It was only a dream" she said with a sad tone. After a few minutes, which felt like an eternity to me, the pain subsided and started crying more "Mom she saw me, she is going to kill me Mom" I said in tears. "No one is ever going to kill you" Dad replied, "you... don't understand, the woman with snake hair and cobra-like tail saw me, she sapped the boy's soul and killed him," I said, shivering in fear. "Dad is here. Nobody can harm my little angel, take this drug. It will calm you down" Dad said as he handed me the glass of water and the drug. I took the drug and soon later I began to feel drowsy and fell asleep.

Deaban POV

"Honey, what's wrong with Ivy? What's she talking about? My wife asked in tears. Don't worry, she will be fine" I replied. "That has... No, It must have been Linda Ivy saw, her demon self must be awakening", I said to myself.
